Another day to live on, and it's still Hell outside, even in the morning light. At least Sylvia and I had fun last night in destroying the cities those Mana people live on.
I swear, this is what Ange and I should be doing. Like what she said in that prison cell with Hilda, we should be the one destroying the world, not that Clovis-lookalike.
Speaking of Ange...
She still hasn't recovered yet.
I'm running out of ideas. The only idea I could rely on is waiting for her. I wonder how Tusk and Momoka were doing in retrieving, and so far, I don't have a message from them.
Suddenly, I heard my radio ringing.
"Lelouch, are you there?" that must be Tusk, and I grabbed the radio to talk to him.
"Yes, I'm here, Tusk," I respond. "Any progress on Ange? She's not with me or Sylvia."
"Well, I just arrived on my island headquarters with Momoka."
"Good to know. Have her back in the Aurora, as soon you can."
"Understood."
As I end my conversation with him, I saw Sylvia is there, and this means she heard my conversation with him. At least she has hope that her sister would come back for the night.
Now we should do something together while waiting for her.
"Wanna have another round of chess?" I asked with a smile.
"Sure, I want to have another match with you," she responds with a smile on her face.
Throughout the afternoon, we played chess just to wait for Ange to show up. I started a conversation with her while doing so.
"I gotta ask you something, Sylvia."
"What is it, Lelouch?" she asked.
"Are you afraid to die?" I asked the most obvious question.
"Why do you want to ask me that?" of course she would puzzled about the question.
"Just in case we lose this fight."
Sylvia took a deep breath and answers as honestly as she can.
"After all I've been through with you and Sister, I'm not afraid to die," that's some honesty from her, I can tell. "Not anymore."
"Good to know. I'm not afraid to die as well," I told her my honesty in this topic. "After all, when Suzaku had to kill me as part of our plan for the Japanese and the Britannian to get along, I show no fear. We knew our plan worked, so I'm not afraid, and so does he."
"Oh..."
Just then, we heard something coming from the intercom.
"Can you hear me? Ersha here."
It's a good thing I installed cameras to see what is it about. We saw a Ragna-mail coming our way, and it has a white bra on its front.
"I think this day has gone weirder and weirder," I wasn't fazed by that sight.
"Tell me about it," Sylvia said with the same expression. "A white bra being used a surrender flag? That's new."
We continue hearing what is happening outside.
"A white bra?!"
"No, it's a white flag."
"Ersha here. I surrender."
"I knew she'll come back here," I said with a smile, knowing this is what I've been waiting for.
"Even so, did you have to kill those kids?" Sylvia looked disturbed on my idea on how to get her back to our side.
"Those 'kids' weren't kids anymore, Sylvia," I argued. "Like I told you, they had already died ever since the invasion on Arzenal before you got sent to the other world alongside Ange, Tusk, and Vivian. Therefore, they're just pawns to make her a bigger pawn."
As she wanted to counter this argument, she backed down, unable to think of what she should say about this.
"Lelouch, Sylvia!" we heard Vivian coming in our way, looking her usual happy-go-lucky self. "Ersha came back!"
"Yeah, we heard it, Vivian," I told her.
We went to the hangar to greet our turncoat, and I'm not surprised that none of the people here seems to hold a grudge on her for turning against them. Then again, she wasn't like Salia nor Chris when they fought for that Clovis-lookalike.
She said she woke up.
That's nice for her.
Despite this, she demands to be taken to a prison cell, and so it happens.
At least that's our first turncoat returned. All what's left now are Salia and Chris. I'm thinking the only way for them to go back here is if Julio would try to betray them during the battle. I guarantee this should happen, and I have no doubts about it.
Where are you, Ange?
Come back to the fight, please.
