Hey guys I'm back again, I am so sorry for wait... Just a disclaimer I do not own any of the Inuyasha characters or plots/story lines just my own twists and my own characters: Akira (Wolf Demon/Priestess), Akira's parents (Kentaro and Michiko), Akira's brothers (Isamu and Toshio), Akira's sisters (Natsumi and Kazumi), Takara (Akira's companion), Yukiko (Snow/Ice sorcerer *Bad Guy*), Lord Sesshomaru's mothers name 'Inukimi'. I do have a new character of sorts in this chapter but she has been mentioned before but not in detail so the new character; Masumi (Wolf Demon Priestess). Enjoy :)

Chapter 19: High Priestess Masumi

We laughed softly Bankotsu and I laid back down I pretended to be asleep and once Bankotsu was sleeping peacefully I hoped up I had no idea how much time I had left but I'd make the most of it, my thoughts then were occupied by my dream. Who was that wolf demon I saw? And what on earth was that dream with the infants crying and Naraku about? Could it have been a memory? No it couldn't Naraku would use it against me. Naraku would have used that on me by now rather than bringing Bankotsu and his brothers back but then maybe it was a vision that or just a nightmare, hopefully it's just a nightmare, I sighed heavily. I looked to the far West where the pull was coming from a slight breeze came my way and swirled around me as petals from a cherry blossom tree flowed with it and twirled in the breeze swirling around me.

The breeze picked up "Huh?" I puffed as the breeze turned into a strong wind and brought an icy chill with it "Guys get up!" I exclaimed as I looked back, my eyes widened in awe to see them frozen and snow everywhere. I twirled around scanning the area everything was frozen and snow covered everything "No this isn't possible… What's going on?" I muttered as my ears flicked back slightly "Akira…" a calm quaint soothing woman's voice called out that came from further West. I looked back at Bankotsu and his brothers "Akira come to me…" the woman's voice echoed out again this time in a more stern, alpha tone, I looked back to the West I walked towards the voice "Who are you? What are you doing this for?" I called out. "Come to me… Please Akira you must help me…" the woman's voice called out my brows knitted together and ran after the voice "Keep talking I'll find you!" I shouted "Akira follow me…" her voice rang out for some reason I felt my body pulse like you'd feel a heartbeat.

"I'm coming!" I yelled as I ran faster "You must finish the mission…" her voice trailed I frowned "What mission?! Where are you?!" I yelled it sounded like she was so close but her voice became softer as I got closer. "Save them and defeat him…" her voice called out "What? Where are you?" I asked aloud as I stopped suddenly a loud rumble echoed out as the snow started to disappear as it did the ground cracked beneath me "Ah!" I screamed as I fell into a deep dark hole. "Umpf…" I groaned as I hit the hard cold ground I looked up to see slight light shine through the hole I got up and looked around and saw something to my right I walked over cautiously then froze seeing what-who it was. I gasped slightly it was a half or full wolf demon that looked similar to myself and close to my age if I had to guess maybe a little older, she had wolf ears and a tail like me and was froze in some sort of ice which was weird because if it was ice it would have melted by now.

She had a different sort of outfit to normal wolf demon attire it wasn't quite like a summer kimono it was edited or looked like something a foreigner would wear, it had cloth material like sleeves that were attached around the sides of her shoulders rather than on top. The sleeves were white and a little baggy, it went to her elbow with a little tussle hanging that would no doubt reach her wrists, she had a golden with sliver detailed corset like thing on well I think that's what it's called. That was then attached to a deep red frilly like skirt, she then had what looked like some sort of black slim fitting pants that or very long socks they sort of wrapped around the top and middle of her feet and around the back of her ankles. Her long, light, golden sun light coloured hair came between the middle of her back and her hips, she had her side fringes that came down and sat just above her breasts her, fringe was puffy and sat just before the top of her eyes, which are a light sky blue colour.

She had a Katana in hand that looked exactly like mine, a black hilt with golden detail that was kept in a pure white sheath, she looked so pained but at the same time she looked at peace, a slight chilly wind blew in and circled around me. "Find the star Akira… Follow the light and the light in the darkness…" the woman's voice trailed out and left as the wind blew past me I gasped slightly "Huh? What star? Who are you?" I questioned allowed. "I am High Priestess Masumi…" she called out a light pulsed from my katana and hers "You must go… Speak with the sword smith Totosai…" her voice called out "Wait that's it? Please wait" I said aloud. "Take care Akira… I will always be with you…" Masumi's voice called out I frowned "No wait you haven't even…" I started then stopped as the wind totally disappeared and I felt the cave grow warm suddenly a loud rumble echoed out that shook the ground.

I lost my balance and fell over I hit the ground only it was starting to get slimy and the place started to smell like fire and guts "Oh… Uh that's gross what on earth…" I started to say when I looked around to see the hole in the ground seal up. I gasped and jumped to my feet and looked around in awe I could see bones of what appeared to be a rib cage "Oh my dear kami…" I puffed in awe I looked to a light shining in "I hope that's not the wrong end…" I muttered. I ran off using my jewel shards I could see teeth up ahead I took off out of the mouth and jumped into a tree as I saw a rare species of elemental dragon take off leaving a large hole of its imprint in the ground. I jumped down out of the tree and looked up and watched the dragon until even after it was out of sight "Akira!" Bankotsu's voice rung out I snapped out of my gawking and ran back to him and his brothers.

I saw them running towards me Bankotsu collided with me holding me in a tight embrace "Don't you ever run off like that again!" Bankotsu exclaimed I could hear the fear in his voice I hugged him back "I'm sorry but something happened when you were all asleep" I said. "What happened sister?" Mukotsu asked Bankotsu and I separated slightly "Snow and it froze over everything, then this voice echoed out, a woman's voice" I said "So you left us to freeze to death to follow some woman's voice…" Renkotsu said with slight agitation. I frowned "How was I to know if she was the one causing it or not I had to make sure if she was I could stop her but I think it was the elemental dragon" I said "Wouldn't the dragon just have attacked rather then sent out snow?" Suikotsu asked. "Maybe we must have got too close to where it was hiding, you can never tell with an elemental but then maybe it wasn't the dragon because I did see a statue of a frozen woman when I was inside it" I replied "You were inside the dragon?!" Bankotsu exclaimed n worry and looked me over.

I sighed "I'm fine Bankotsu, really" I said giving him a look he puffed a sigh "Who was the woman?" Suikotsu asked I looked at him "Not sure but she was a wolf demon and I hate to say it but she kind of looked like me in a way" I replied. "Huh?" they all puffed at once "I can't explain it anymore then that but her name is High Priestess Masumi" I said "Possible… Twin…?" Ginkotsu asked I shook my head "No well I don't have one that I know of but I was told by my parents that I am supposed to be the reincarnation of a powerful priestess wolf demon" I replied. "So are we still going to the west or are we changing plans?" Renkotsu asked I looked to the West "I don't feel the pull of anything in the West anymore so that must have been it, I do need to see a swords master named Totosai, I think Shippo and Kagome said that he made the sword that Inuyasha has" I replied. "We're going to see the half-dog demon then…" Mukotsu said "Oh goodie! I can't wait to feel those fuzzy little ears of his!" Jakotsu squealed in excitement I couldn't help but laugh "Jakotsu, Inuyasha won't let you anywhere near him" I said.

"Unfair! Dogs are meant to be loyal to man!" Jakotsu pouted I smiled and shook my head "So to Inuyasha then, where do you think he will be?" Bankotsu asked I closed my eyes and sniffed I couldn't pick any scents of Inuyasha or his friends. I sighed "I can't pick up their scents we're going to have to just keep walking until I can" I said "Alright well where would you like to start looking?" Bankotsu asked I thought it over "Actually my hut is a few miles from here we can camp there just until I can figure out our next moves" I said. "Alright then, you heard Akira guys let's move out" Bankotsu said we started walking I led the way with Bankotsu on my right side and Jakotsu on my left asking questions about Inuyasha as a big smile formed on his face. I sighed softly seeing my families hut come into view but there was a light coming out of it like someone had the fire going, I stopped "Akira?" Bankotsu questioned the wind blew our way and with it the scent of my brothers.

I growled I couldn't smell anyone else's scents just theirs "Akira what's wrong?" Bankotsu asked "If those idiots have abandoned them…" I started "Akira tell me what's going on" Bankotsu demanded as he turned me to face him my brows knitted together as tears built up. 'I'll talk to them about their actions but if they do it again I'll kill them' Bankotsu's words echoed through my head "Bankotsu you promise you won't hurt them?" I questioned "Who?" Bankotsu asked as an agitated look sparked in his eyes. "My brothers, you promise you won't hurt them, please?" I said he frowned as he let go off me "My promise will be as good as their actions Akira" Bankotsu said looked away from me and to the hut I looked at him in awe as my ears twitched back slightly. "Is it just your brothers that are there?" Bankotsu asked "Yes I can't smell anyone else's scent but theirs" I replied "Then let's go I want to speak to them" Bankotsu said in a tone and with a look that could send shivers down your back.
