Hey guys I'm back again, like I said... Thank you for your support everyone you're awesome.

Now just a disclaimer I do not own any of the Inuyasha characters or plots/story lines just my own twists and my own characters: Akira (Wolf Demon/Priestess), Akira's parents (Kentaro and Michiko), Akira's brothers (Isamu and Toshio), Akira's sisters (Natsumi and Kazumi), Takara (Akira's companion), Yukiko (Snow/Ice sorcerer *Bad Guy*), Lord Sesshomaru's mothers name 'Inukimi'. I do have a new character of sorts in this chapter but she has been mentioned before but not in detail so the new character; Masumi (Wolf Demon Priestess). Enjoy :)

Slight language and affection.

Chapter 21: Issues.

"Renkotsu and Ginkotsu are outside staying on guard" Jakotsu said "As usual, they would never let each other out of their sight" I said "So sister this swords smith do you know anything about him?" Mukotsu asked. "Other than being the one who worked making swords for the dog demon general of the west and his two sons, it's funny that Sesshomaru never mentioned him" I said "He seems to keep to himself a lot" Suikotsu said "Yes but under his hard exterior he is a nice person with a kind heart" I said. "So what are you doing about this whole Koga problem?" Jakotsu asked I looked at him "It's hard not to hear when Bankotsu raises his voice" Suikotsu said I looked down "I'm not sure but right we have to focus on our tasks and just spend quality time together for however long we have left" I said. "Here-Here! Well said and I have just the thing to finish our wonder dinner with!" Jakotsu exclaimed he grabbed a bag from behind him and pulled out some bottles of sake "So that's what you were doing while Mukotsu and I got dinner…" Suikotsu said.

Jakotsu smiled "Yes something to help us unwind" Jakotsu said I smelt the dinner was just about ready I got up and went to the cupboards and got some cups out and gave one to each of the guys and left two in my brothers' seats and two at where Bankotsu and I would be sitting. I left the last two aside "Bankotsu, Isamu, Toshio dinner is ready" I called "One minute Akira" Bankotsu said I got everyone a portion of deer meat then one fish each, then took some out to Ginkotsu and Renkotsu "I brought you some dinner" I said handed them theirs. "Jakotsu brought back some sake so I'll bring you each some out in a moment" I said "Thank you sister" Ginkotsu said "Yes thank you sister" Renkotsu said but he sounded ungrateful I shook off my thoughts and went inside. I saw Isamu, Toshio and Bankotsu all sitting down around the fire, I poured everyone a cup of sake and then went outside with a cup of sake for Ginkotsu and Renkotsu "Here you are, if you need anything or want more just yell out" I said and then went back inside sitting down in my spot.

I ate silently listening to my brothers and Bankotsu's brothers talk, Bankotsu was glaring at my brothers making sure they knew their place, it felt a little tense but I'm sure once they all got to know each other it wouldn't be so bad but then again once the shards are gone. I sighed getting lost in my own thoughts, the priestess, my sisters, Koga and that female wolf demon he promised, Bankotsu, his brethren and their shards then Naraku, there was still so much I wanted to do, so much I still need to know. Maybe Totosai could at least clear up what Priestess Masumi has to do with me and maybe how we can defeat Naraku "You know you two look cute but what I want to know is how strong you both are" Jakotsu said "Huh?" Isamu puffed. "We can stand our ground just fine in a fight" Toshio said "Really? I'd love to see that…" Jakotsu said "Can you stare at someone else I'm not into guys" Isamu said "You never know if you have never tried" Jakotsu said.

I stood up "Isamu, Toshio you two can clean up, I'm going to bed" I said then walked off to my room and sat down on my bedding I sighed as I let my ears flop to either side I puffed a sigh, there was a thousand thoughts crossing my mind and yet still nothing made sense. Then again with Naraku he was a mystery until I could make sense of him or his incarnations but this issue with Koga promising another female wolf demon long ago, why would he abandon his promise? Wolf demons are meant to have honour and loyalty. Koga should honour his promise and stay with this woman but that means once Bankotsu's shard is gone he will too and then it will be just my family, Takara and I, I closed my eyes as a frown crossed my face and my hands formed fists. Maybe it is my fate to not have a man, a husband, a mate, I heard someone walk down the hall and my pelt ruffle and someone walk in "Akira talk to me" Bankotsu said in a commanding tone I sighed as I hung my head.

I heard him sit behind me and then felt his hands on my shoulders soon after, he started slowly but firmly massaging my shoulders, I relaxed as I exhaled heavily "I can't make any sense out of any of this, everything's so messed up" I said as my ears went back. "I know you Akira, if you could you would fix every single problem but life doesn't work like that" Bankotsu said I laughed softly "If the world didn't need fixing I'd have no work to do" I said Bankotsu laughed. "I'm sure you'd find something to do, you do have a certain way of doing things" he said I placed my hands on top of his and moved them down to my waist as I leant back against him and looked up. "I do don't I?" I said with a smile a smirk spread across his face "You certainly do" Bankotsu said then kissed me as tighten his grip around me but in a comforting way "That's mine!" Jakotsu shouted "I don't care I want a drink!" Renkotsu shouted.

Bankotsu separated from me I could sense his anger radiate of him "How dare they start a fight in my woman's home" Bankotsu snapped, his sapphire eyes narrowed as they glistened with anger, he let go of me and stood up and went to walk out I sighed as I stood up and walked after Bankotsu. Renkotsu and Jakotsu were head to head with each other Bankotsu split them up "How dare you start a fight in my woman's house! We're brothers for god sake!" Bankotsu yelled "He was drinking all the sake brother" Jakotsu said. Renkotsu glared at me Bankotsu saw it and grabbed his top "Don't you dare give my woman that look! If I so much as hear or see you doing the wrong thing again I won't hesitate to do what I must! Understood?!" Bankotsu yelled. Renkotsu looked down slightly and away "Answer me Renkotsu!" Bankotsu shouted as he pinned him to a wall "Urgh!" Renkotsu grunted as he looked Bankotsu dead in the eye "Understood brother" Renkotsu said.

"Good then you understand what happens if you step out of line again" Bankotsu says then lets Renkotsu go "What of Akira's brothers? They betrayed Akira will you kill them too? They left her to die and I only glare at her" Renkotsu says I frowned and walked over to him. "Do not speak lowly of my brothers Renkotsu, if your brothers were about to be killed would by someone you knew you couldn't defeat would you run or fight and die with them?" I said I felt everyone's eyes on Renkotsu and I, Renkotsu didn't speak but had a look in his eyes. One I had seen in my both my brothers' eyes before "I thought as much, think before you speak next time Renkotsu that or keep your thoughts to yourself" I said "Get out you are on night patrol with Ginkotsu" Bankotsu said. "As you wish" Renkotsu said then walked out "Sister…" Toshio said I looked to him, he and Isamu knelt down on one knee with their right arm across their chest "We really are sorry" they both said.

"Didn't we already discuss this, earn back your keep, our parents would be upset if we didn't try to keep together" I said they stood up Isamu smiled "So you two are back together and staying together or…?" Isamu said Toshio elbowed him in the side "Isamu…" Toshio growled. "Don't get your tail in a twist" Isamu snapped then went over to Bankotsu "I'm sorry for what we did and for how we've treated you, your brothers and Akira but I-we can see how happy you two are and I'm happy for you both" Isamu said "We both are" Toshio said. I looked to Bankotsu in curiosity to how he would react, Bankotsu suddenly grabbed Isamu putting him in a headlock and ruffled his hair "Hey!" Isamu snapped Bankotsu laughed as a smiled spread across his face. "If you don't cause any more trouble we'll get along just fine" Bankotsu said "He lacks the brains" Toshio said as Bankotsu let go of Isamu "And you lack the muscle" Isamu puffed "Alright children off to bed with you" I said in a playful tone.

My brothers gave me an awed look "Children? We're older then you" Isamu said with a slight frown "Yes but you're not mature enough just yet" I said "Isamu certainly isn't" Toshio said with a smile "Hey?!" Isamu exclaimed "He's so cute when he gets annoyed" Jakotsu said. "C-C-Cute?! I am not!" Isamu puffed as he turned around slightly crossing his arms across his chest as his cheeks went red I giggled "Alright seriously no late night we have a lot to do tomorrow" I said "Yes boss" Jakotsu said. I went to walk to my room Bankotsu grabbed his halberd and followed me, I went over to the small window and I heard the sound of Bankotsu placing his halberd down then walking over to me and soon I felt his arms around my waist. "If Renkotsu does anything even just a look, tell me" Bankotsu said "I'm sure Renkotsu won't do anything to displease you" I said "I'm unsure of that, he just seems off" Bankotsu said "What do you mean?" I asked "He's been more restful and more quiet" Bankotsu replied.

"Kyokotsu was different when he was revived right?" I asked "Hmm… Yeah that's right why do you ask? Do you think there's something going on?" Bankotsu said my brows knitted together "It's a guess but maybe the shards that Naraku used…" I said. "In that case the rest of us would be affected and as of yet nothing has changed in the rest of us" Bankotsu said "I could be wrong it was just a guess" I said "Knowing you it's more of a gut feeling" Bankotsu said I smiled. "I do ponder things too you know" I said he chuckled "I know that's one of the reasons I fell in love with you, your looks are just a bonus for me" he said "Oh really? I remember you saying; you look like an adorable puppy and that's why I fell for you" I said. "Well how wouldn't I fall for you? Those cute ears and that lovely tail of yours just make your expressions that much cuter" Bankotsu said "Bankotsu…" I said as I felt my face grow hot he laughed "Come my beautiful lady we must get some sleep" Bankotsu said. Bankotsu picked me up and went over to my bedding then placed me down and laid down beside me I cuddled up to him he wrapped his arms around me "Goodnight my sweet Akira" Bankotsu said "Goodnight Bankotsu, I love you" I said "I love you too" he said softly as I started to drift off.
