Hello everyone, you must get tired of hearing me say sorry all the time that's because I am, I've dearly missed writing my stories, I've had a lot come up that has torn me from it for example I moved house, had 2 operations, family get together at Christmas, cars broke down ... and of course my laptop for some strange reason would not let me update ... weird but true anyways, I will try and keep up my writing and not let my posting chapters get too far apart.
Ok before I start my little intro I am going to be changing my Profile name from Wolf-Lover26 to Da-Wolf-Goddess so please keep your eyes open I will change it on... Let's say 26/03/2018 which may be the 25/03/2018 for others. I just thought I would give you a heads up, this is most likely the only time I will change after that it will stay that way.
I have done a ''story'' called Author's Notes up which I will keep everyone up to date with my stories I have up currently along with new ones I will be uploading and what they are based on (anime/manga/game, etc). So if you want heads up or just to see what's going on then I recommend you to follow but that's your choice of course.
Now just a disclaimer I do not own any of the Inuyasha characters or plots/story lines just my own twists and my own characters: Akira (Wolf Demon/Priestess), Akira's parents (Kentaro and Michiko), Akira's brothers (Isamu and Toshio), Akira's sisters (Natsumi and Kazumi), Takara (Akira's companion), Yukiko (Snow/Ice sorcerer *Bad Guy*), Lord Sesshomaru's mothers name 'Inukimi', Masumi (Wolf Demon Priestess). Chapter 23: Just like old times.
I smiled slightly then sighed thinking about the journey yet to come "I know that tone" Bankotsu said I looked up at him slightly "I didn't say anything" I said he looked down at me "You didn't have to the tone of your sigh was enough" Bankotsu said with a look that says 'I've known you long enough'. "You know we don't have to set off yet" Bankotsu said "I know but I want to, I need to find out what's on that island, I want to know what Sesshomaru meant" I said Bankotsu frowned slightly. "Well then if your sure I'll get our brothers sorted, you go get and do what you need to" Bankotsu said I smiled "Thank you" I said and leaned up on my toes kissing his cheek then ran off into the hut. I packed up what I needed to and did a quick clean of the hut while making a list of what I had already used, once I finished I went through and checked the rooms double checking things then went to get everything to see Jakotsu smiling "All ready to go boss" he said.
"The bags?" I asked "Got them, everything you had packed we've got" Jakotsu said "Alright well let's get going then, we a big walk ahead of us" I said "At least time will pass fast, it always has with us all being together" Jakotsu said "That's true, I just hope time doesn't go too fast" I said Jakotsu hooked his arm around mine "Don't worry sister let's just fun while it lasts, you always did say to focus on the happy moments that happen in the now right?" Jakotsu said. I smiled "Yes well then, shall we go have ourselves one last adventure together?" I asked "Absolutely! Cute clothes and hot boys!" Jakotsu exclaimed in excitement I laughed seeing his eyes glisten and a massive smile on his face, it definitely been a while since I saw Jakotsu this excited about anything but I'm happy to have him around, he always lightens the mood. Jakotsu and I walked out to see everybody ready to begin our journey to the southern region, Jakotsu took his arm from mine but still walked next to me over to Bankotsu "Ready?" Bankotsu asked "For our best adventure ever? Absolutely!" Jakotsu asked and answered his own question I couldn't help but laugh. Suikotsu smiled "What's got you so happy?" Renkotsu asked "Renkotsu we don't know how much time we have together so let's enjoy what time we have" I said "I second our sister, we must live in the moment" Suikotsu said "Agreed perhaps we will even have moments like we used too" Mukotsu said "I just don't see how we can have fun or be happy with Naraku on our tails" Renkotsu said.
"Grumpy pants, seriously you need to untwist your pants or put loser ones on, your always so negative" Jakotsu said "Enough bickering brothers, no more of it, understood?" Bankotsu said sternly "Yes brother" Bankotsu's brothers all said at once "Good, the last thing we need is to fight amongst ourselves" Bankotsu said then looked at me "Your the leader, where you go, we will follow" Bankotsu said. "Let's head to the southern coast, once we see what Naraku has there for us then we can decide what to do for there" I said Bankotsu smiled "Alright guys you heard our leader, let's move out" Bankotsu said, he held his hand out to me, I placed my hands in his and we walked off leading the way, Jakotsu, Mukotsu and Suikotsu followed behind us then Ginkotsu and Renkotsu followed behind them. We walked a nice steady pace, not rushing to get to the southern coast, Sesshomaru said it was important that I get there but I guess I was slightly worried about what I would find and if I could hold my anger back from what Naraku has done now or what he did do, I just wish Sesshomaru gave me more then what he had but he does things for a reason that I know. I couldn't help wonder about Renkotsu though, he definitely seemed off "Our own little adventure huh?" Bankotsu questioned I looked at him seeing a slight smirk on his face "Jakotsu reminded me of how things used to be and my old sayings" I said "Here I thought demons had a fantastic memory" Bankotsu teased I gave him a look "We do" I said.
"We died and now we're back, that's a lot to ask for anyone to accept" Bankotsu said as he looked at me then smiled "But you are doing great, no your amazing Akira, to hold yourself together like you have been like you've always done, I've always admired you for that" Bankotsu said "I don't like burdening anyone that's why" I said "No matter what you think you are an incredibly strong woman" Bankotsu said. I smiled and was about to speak when I heard faint screaming in the distance "There's trouble a head" I said as my brows knitted together and smile faded "Perhaps it will be like the good old days" Bankotsu said as he let go of my hand grabbing Banryu from it's sheath and twirling it above his head then rested Banryu on his shoulder "Alright guys looks like we get to have some fun" Bankotsu said. I smiled "Maybe we will but that's only if you can keep up like you did back then" I said Bankotsu looked at as a grin started to form "Are you making a challenge?" Bankotsu asked "No just stating a fact, I'll see you there and I'll try to leave you some fun" I said and quickly kissed his cheek before sprinted off in the direction of the screams. I could hear the others chasing after me, I wasn't using my full speed and I definitely wasn't going to use the jewel shards unless I needed to, I heard someone catching up to me "I think you were boasting" Bankotsu said with a smirk as we caught each others' eyes "Was I?" I questioned teasingly then ran a little faster "I'll catch you! I always do!" Bankotsu exclaimed as I could hear him catching up.
I kept my view ahead, I could see a few figures up a head and soon got a smell of blood "I'm smelling blood guys!" I exclaimed "How about you give us a royal introduction love? Like the old days" Bankotsu called out "I'd be glad too" I called back then sprinted off using the jewel shard power, speeding way ahead of the others then skidded to a stop see a group of bandits harassing a traveling family. "DEMON!" a bandit called out "I am not the ones you bandits should be worried about" I said "And who should we worry about? Your dog friends?" a different bandit questioned then laughed, others joined him "I am a wolf demon and you should be worried about my friends they are not wolves but they are fierce and merciless" I growled I then looked at the members of the family. "They will not hurt you only the bandits" I said "And where are these friends of yours?" one bandit asked "You should be asking who not where" I said "Then who are they?" a bandit said in a somewhat bored tone "The Band of Seven" I said their eyes went wide and mouths dropped slightly "They're dead!" one exclaimed. "That's strange because I feel alive" Bankotsu said as he came out from the trees behind me and stood next to me as the others were in position surrounding the bandits, "Let me introduce my love and leader of the Band of Seven, Bankotsu" I said "And of course your destroyer" Bankotsu said twirling Banryu around and pointed it at them with a smirk on his face and a dangerous killer look in his deep blue eyes.
"Brothers why don't you come out and introduce your selves to our hopeless victims" Bankotsu said and like he said they all made themselves known, each with their own weapons out and killer looks, Jakotsu was a worry but Renkotsu did scare me, he seemed to scare me more then Bankotsu did when I first met them all, "Akira, love do you want in on this action or do you want to lead these poor folk for harm?" Bankotsu asked. "I think you know what I'll choose, have fun" I replied and elegantly jumped from my spot to where the family was "You bandits let them go cause you have more to worry about now then collect money and valuables folk like this family" I said they hesitated I growled showing my fangs as my ears went back "Now" I snapped they let them go instantly. "Be lucky I'm not here with the Band of Seven" I said then looked to the family "Come with me I'll show you the safest path out" I said they hesitated slightly but followed soon after, I walked them away as soon as we were out of site from them screaming started, the family reeked of fear "I will not harm you and neither will the Band of Seven we are here to help the ones who need it" I said. I walked them a little further "Go this way a mile or so then walk east you should come across a village" I said "T-Thank you" the man said and then hurried his family off, I turned around and ran back to the guys seeing the bandits dead and everyone with smiles on their faces "Another eventful and pleasant fight I see" I said as I walked over to Bankotsu.
"That was no fight" Suikotsu snapped, he was in his rather mean state "I would say more like a slaughter" Renkotsu said "It was very pleasant though" Mukotsu said "It's just a pity none of them were good looking..." Jakotsu pouted "Maybe if your lucky we'll run into Inuyasha again" I said Jakotsu perked up instantly "OH! I would love that! I want to feel his fuzzy ears!" Jakotsu said all of us laughed at his excitement. "Too bad I don't have someone like you have Akira, Bankotsu then I would be rubbing their ears all the time!" Jakotsu said in excitement with a gleam in his eyes "I am rather lucky, to have such amazing and loyal brothers and a beautiful and strong demon woman as my woman" Bankotsu said with a smirk as he pulled me to his side "I think we can all agree that we all we be no where without our fearless leader" I said. "Who? Me?" Bankotsu said with a playful look "But Akira rules you Bankotsu" Suikotsu said with a grin "You could say that she is the dominate one in their relationship and our gang" Mukotsu said "I don't know, seems whenever they were at it ages ago they..." Jakotsu started "JAKOTSU!" Bankotsu and I exclaimed. My face I was sure was red but Bankotsu had no blush at all just an annoyed look "What shall we do with the bodies?" Renkotsu said "Dig a pit and burn them just make sure no trees get caught on fire, last thing we need to deal with is giving our position away to Naraku without or without his bugs or mirror child checking up on us" Bankotsu ordered "Alright, lets get to it brothers" Renkotsu said.
Bankotsu cleaned Banryu, polishing it till it sparkled, Ginkotsu was on guard, Suikotsu made sure they were all dead, Jakotsu and Mukotsu were digging the hole, once the hole was dug they all threw the bodies in and Renkotsu had set them on fire, the smell of burning corpses filled the air "We should move it won't take long for another demon to pick this up and if a human gets close enough they'll be able to smell it as well" I said. "Let's move out" Bankotsu said, he and I walked in front leading, heading further south towards the coast "We'll make as much ground as we can then we'll start walking again in the morning" Bankotsu said "Now your the one in a rush" I said he looked at me "For a moment back there it felt good, killing people, I don't want to change back to the man I was before you, Akira" Bankotsu said. "And you won't I'll be here with until the end" I said then grabbed his hand holding it tightly in mine "I promise" I said as I smiled he smiled back slightly holding my hand back "Just promise that you'll take care of yourself first, to me your more important, you always have been" Bankotsu said "Anything to make you happy Bankotsu" I said. He laughed a little bringing me to his side slinging his arm around my shoulders "Strange woman" he muttered I placed my arm around his waist and walked by his side with a smile on my face looking ahead "Bankotsu" I said "Yeah" Bankotsu said "Let's make this time count, do-well try to do everything we wanted to" I said.
"What's got into you?" Bankotsu said "It feels like old times and I don't want this feeling to end just yet so I think we should make it count while we're all still together" I said "I like that idea, but isn't that what I have been saying all this time that we've been together?" Bankotsu said I looked at him "Yes I guess I was just being my naturally worried self" I said. "Another reason I fell for you" Bankotsu said a few howls rung out from wolves, I stopped making everyone else stop and be on guard a few more howls rung out, I smiled "Wolves from the Southern wolf demon tribe, they're just notifying their comrades that they smell us coming near there territory" I said "Do you want to go around or straight through?" Bankotsu asked. "Go around I don't want to start a feud" I replied we changed direction and went the long way around the tribe to reach the southern coast line, "Sister why would it start a feud for us to go through there land?" Suikotsu asked "My father sent my brothers out to each tribe long ago in order to tell them about the uprising of an evil demon lurking about that would affect the wolf demon clans, as well as every other living thing in this land, but no tribe listened they sent my brothers away laughing at them as if they were crazy" I replied. "Let me guess that demon ending up being Naraku" Mukotsu said "Yes it did, my father was right and yet I still do not think any tribe took it seriously or thinks back to the day they were warned" I said "Well it'll change if I see a wolf demon especially Koga or Ayame" Bankotsu snapped "I'm not fussed Bankotsu" I said "I know you aren't that's what pisses me off the most, you sure give care about this" Bankotsu puffed.
"I'm not fussed because I have our brothers and you most importantly, we are all together and that's what matters" I said Bankotsu looked at me his anger washing away as a smile replaced his frown "I guess I'll let it go, for now" Bankotsu said I laughed as I shook my head "Same old Bankotsu, can't you let go of your grudges?" I said "Nope, makes me that much more fierce in my reputation" Bankotsu said. "Here-Here! The Band of Seven will always come back for revenge!" Jakotsu exclaimed with a smile we all laughed the guys started mucking around and making jokes and reminiscing about the old times as we kept walking, within a few hours it became dark "We should rest here the night, how much further is Akira? Would you know?" Bankotsu said. "We should be there by mid-day tomorrow or in afternoon sometime, we have made great time though" I said "Jewel shard power" Mukotsu said "No I think it's because Ginkotsu has wheels now" Jakotsu said jokingly, Ginkotsu gave him a glare "No thanks to that dog of yours, Ginkotsu is more machine then man now" Renkotsu snapped "Here we go again..." Suikotsu puffed. "Ginkotsu and Renkotsu your on guard, Jakotsu and Mukotsu get fire wood, Suikotsu go get some food" Bankotsu said they instantly went off to do what they had to, Bankotsu sat down against a tree, I went and sat next to him, he looked a little agitated "What's wrong?" I asked he looked at me then pulled me to him making me sit in his lap, he cradled me in his arms "I have you what could possibly be wrong?" Bankotsu said as he looked at me with his sly smile and a loving look in his eyes.
