Greetings everyone!
Welcome to the story you've all been waiting for... the release of the 2nd chapter of "Don't Mess With An Arc".
This story has been Favorited, Followed, and given reviews that I was so tempted to begin the story but seeing as I wanted to wait for "The Knight The Wizard" to "end" before getting started. Now let's set some ground rules, while this Jaune is significantly stronger than his canon-counterpart, his personality will also be drastically different. Think of him as the RWBY version of Saitama from One Punch Man, which I recommend you go see if you haven't yet.
Other than that nothing new to add, so...
Till next time!

Chapter Two
Today was the day he'd been waiting for, to open up the door, to a world of new solutions and bloody revolutions. Today was the day he'd become a great defender, standing in the way of harm and live a romantic life; a fairytale, full of charm.
Today was the day that Jaune Arc became a Huntsman.
Or at least that was plan before he got lost following a group of fourth-years to their dorm room, who all wanted to see who was the better fighter and Jaune, being the person that he was, immediately followed after them. However, it turned out that the kind of fighting they were referring to was playing a fighting game and once again, like always, Jaune won and in return he became an honorary member of their competitive gaming team, Team PWN'D. But now it was time for Jaune to find where the first-years were being herded and with the help of his newfound friends was led to the front of the atrium.
But just as he was about to take his first step towards becoming a Huntsman the rang of a loud explosion reverberated in his ear canals, causing his to cover his innocent ears from danger as his eyes scanned his surroundings and locate where the explosion had come from. His eyes eventually landed on a little girl, dressed in a red-riding hood motif-ed Gothic Lolita, laying with arms spread on scarred concrete and a saddened look on her face. And Jaune, being the older brother that he was made a beeline towards the Gothic Red-Riding Hooded Lolita to check on her. Leaning just over her face, blocking out the heat waves of the sun and casting a warm halo around his head. And as her shinning silver eyes opened, seeing his appearance, his mouth opened, saying the words every woman wanted to hear.
"So, is charred concrete as comfortable as they say it is or are you just doing this for fun?" asked Jaune, watching with amusement as the Gothic Red-Riding Hooded Lolita got to her feet abruptly with red, puffed cheeks and a furrowed brow.
"No, it is not comfortable! I tripped over this crummy girl's luggage and then she got mad at me and then she started shaking Dust in my face and then I sneezed and then I exploded and then she yelled at me again and then I decided to lay down on the ground and I think I sat on some gum!" said the Gothic Red-Riding Hooded Lolita, looking over her shoulder to see some old gun was stuck to her skirt, making her groan disappointingly as she peeled the old gum off while Jaune watched on in silence.
"So you really exploded... From a sneeze?" asked Jaune, asking slowly so that he understood the question, while the already disappointed Gothic Red-Riding Hooded Lolita frowned, pulling her hood over her head in an attempt to hid her shame while nodding to his question. "Cool." he said simply, causing her to look up in confusion.
"Cool? You think causing an explosion because of a sneeze is cool?" she asked, astonishingly.
"Yeah, after all you never hear about that kind of Semblance. Explosive Sneezing, sounds like a cool superpower." said Jaune, waving his hand in an arc as he imagined the words "Explosive Sneezing" above the Gothic Red-Riding Hooded Lolita. But oddly enough, she didn't seem to like his name idea as she quickly puffed out her cheeks while frantically waving her arms around wildly.
"T-That is NOT my Semblance! My Semblance is Speed! It makes me go ZOOM! And VROOM! and ZIOW! Got it?!" she shouted, pointing at Jaune with her index finger while he raised his arms in surrender, nodding at her demand. "Good! Now... Uh... Who are you, again?" asked the Gothic Red-Riding Hooded Lolita.
"I'm Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, rolls of the tongue, and the ladies love it." said Jaune, confidently while the girl tried, unsuccessfully, to hide a snicker.
"Do they?" she asked jokingly.
"I don't know. I've never thought to ask. So, what's your name? It wouldn't happen to be "Gothic Red-Riding Hooded Lolita" would it?" asked Jaune, confusing the girl before choosing to snicker and answer him.
"I'm Ruby, Ruby Rose." said Ruby, holding out her hand for a handshake, to which Jaune returned wholeheartedly.
"Nice to meet you Ruby Rose." said Jaune, smiling at his newfound friend before they both walked off in a random direction.
With the sun shining down upon them, a bright smile on each of their faces as they laughed and joked about their past. The highlight of the conversation being Ruby's expression over hearing about Jaune's seven sisters. And in retaliation, Ruby told him the story of when her older sister, Yang, destroyed a small portion of their old pre-school because some bully pulled on her hair. After a short while, the still slightly nervous Ruby decided to unleash her weapon.
"Whoa! Is that a scythe?" asked an amazed Jaune while Ruby gleefully smiled.
"This is my baby, Crescent Rose! She's a specialized high-velocity sniper rifle with a foldable scythe attachment. Though I guess I went a little overboard when designing it." said Ruby, feeling a little bashful.
"No way, that is super cool. But mine is even better." said Jaune, feeling impressed by her personally-made weapon as he unveiled his own weapon and to the sky he raised a magnificent specimen. "This is my weapon, said to have been created by the Gods. This weapon was the banner of heroes, a symbol of hope, and a beacon of light that would pierce the darkness and bring about the dawn of Humanity. It's name had been passed down from generation to generation and striking fear into the souls of the sinful. It's name meaning "Bringer of the Dawn." The mighty and powerful...Dawnbringer!" exclaimed an excited Jaune as he raised a metal pole with a golden spike perched at the tip, and wrapped around the sterling metal pole was the expertly sewn white and yellow flag with the symbol of the Arcs waving proud and strong. It's glory shining as the sun's rays basked it in it's glory.
But to Ruby all she saw was worn out, rusted pole with a chipped bladed tip and a dirtied, ripped, flag carelessly wrapped around it. And in that moment she asked the all around important question.
"Uh... Jaune? Why are you holding a flagpole?" asked Ruby as Jaune collapsed the magnificent weapon, locking it behind his waist as he began to ponder the day he first got his weapon.
...10 Years Earlier...
It had just a few months after Jaune had achieved his most recent feat, acing his math test, and as promised, Jaune's father had decided to begin training him to become a protector and a very excited little Jaune could barely hold in his excitement as they traversed the family house and down the secret doorway towards the Arc tomb and beyond that, the armory, where every weapon that an Arc had wielded was showcased for it's glory. From Flails to Dust Wands to Swords, there were all manner of weaponry to choose from.
But as Jaune ran throughout the armory, his excited smile had begun to shift into a saddened frown.
None of these weapons spoke to him.
They didn't reach out to him, grasping his soul and begging to see the glory of battle once again.
And for a moment, Jaune was distraught over not finding a weapon that he could truly use... That is until he spotted it... A gloriously, crafted flag spear tucked away in the far corner of the room. Jaune's blue eyes sparkled with amazement as he rushed over to the weapon, grasping it's mighty metal pole as he felt centuries of power emanating from the legendary weapon.
This was his weapon.
And as he rushed over to where his father was standing, weapon in hand, Jaune smiled as his father's eyes widened in astonishment over his son's discovery. Truly, his father must've seen the power that resonated within the weapon, his mouth poised to speak but the sight of his ever-gleeful son silencing any words he might've said about the powerful weapon. His father's eyes closed before reopening and stepping aside for his son to head back the way they came.
It was time Jaune tested his weapon.
And it was even more powerful than he ever imagined.
After repeating the stance he'd so often practiced in private and feeling the overwhelming power coursing through his veins, the little Jaune proudly raised his mighty flag spear into the air, it's flag waving majestically in the wind, before quickly thrusting the spear tip forward and at first nothing happened...complete and utter silence... And then from out of nowhere a loud boom echoed throughout the valley as a mighty gust of wind blew through the forest, completely obliterating every tree that had stood for eons before widening as the mountain that reached into the sky just beyond the horizon was gone, an entire circular chunk taken out of the enormous mountain before crumbling into pieces.
The excited Jaune began to jump around with his weapon in tow while his father watched on in utter shock over the power Jaune's weapon had accomplished. Jaune then held his weapon aloft, his blue eyes sparkling with anticipation of the number of adventures he and his weapon would face together.
...10 Years Later...
After telling the tale of how Jaune obtained his mighty weapon, he soon felt the gentle hand of Ruby touch his shoulder, her eyes shining with emotion that Jaune could only assume was admiration while in reality it was more sympathetic. But eventually their topic evolved from the showcasing of their weapons to the realism of their situation as, without intention, they had mistakenly wandered to the top of Beacon Tower, overlooking the amazing school that would be their new home for the rest of their days.
"HOW DID WE GET UP HERE!?" shouted Ruby, jumping into Jaune's arms and wrapping her own arms around his neck from safety while Jaune looked around in confusion.
"NO IDEA! I'VE NEVER BEEN GOOD WITH DIRECTIONS!" he shouted back over the roaring sound of the wild wind. "HEY! YOU THINK THERE'S A FOOD COURT NEARBY OR SOMETHING? I'M GETTING HUNGRY!"
But no reply came from the now terrified Ruby that remained cradled in his brotherly arms.
Poor girl must've been afraid of heights.
...A Few Minutes Later...
With the help of Ruby's speedy Semblance, the two were able to reach their destination just in the nick of time but as the two entered the massive building where the majority of eventual first-years gathered in front of a large stage the Gothic Lolita that was his friend soon passed out, falling into his arms from exhaustion while Jaune smiled on. "Aww, she's all tuckered out." he said gleefully when suddenly a random fist belonging to the slim but muscular arm that connected to the fiery, bombshell, buxom, red-eyed, blonde, slammed into his jawline. The result creating a puff cloud of rubble and dust that surrounded the three first-years.
As the dust settled around them, the blonde's red eyes widened in shock as Jaune remained standing in front of her, unharmed and still gleefully smiling as he held Ruby in his gentle arms.
"You must be Yang. Ruby told me you had an overprotective streak and anger issue but don't worry, I'm an older brother too so I get it. She's a bit tired from using her Semblance to get us here on time. So, here you go." said Jaune, softly handing his tired friend into the comforting arms of her older sister, who continued to stare at him with red eyes filled with bewilder, along with the rest of the first-years who watched the so-called fight with astonishment, as Jaune wandered off into the crowd, unaware that his once exhausted friend, Ruby, had opened her eyes to see the confused red of her older sister, Yang.
"Oh, hey, Yang. Thanks for ditching me." said Ruby, glaring at her sister with a furrowed brow and puffed cheeks before looking around for her friend. "Where's Jaune?" asked Ruby, while Yang continued to stare blankly at the area where Jaune had just stood as a feeling she'd never felt before swept over her.
Shattered pride.
