Greetings everyone!
Welcome to the 3rd chapter of "Don't Mess With An Arc", I hope you're all ready for this new chapter and for the replies to several questions I received since the last chapter;
darky33916: "Yes, it is the weapon used by Ruler/Jeanne D'Arc in Fate/Apocrypha. The idea came from "lord Rikudou" who PM'd me back when this story was only one chapter. And even though he told me he wasn't worried about receiving full credit for the idea, I can't let it go with saying it properly. So you're reading this "lord Rikudou" then thank you for the idea on Jaune's new weapon, "Dawnbringer", I hope you like it."
ZippityZapImCrap: "Don't worry, I have no intentions on making Jaune into an arrogant A-hole.
I hope that answers your questions and more.
On a side note, I recently discovered that several of my stories have been placed within communities and to be honest it's such a terrific feeling for me. To know that there are people out there that genuinely love my stories despite all the grammar errors, spelling errors, bad descriptive writing, and sporadic schedule changes. There's just no comparison to the feeling of joy that surges through me when I see another follower, another favorite, another review, and to see my stories being added to communities, one of which I go through constantly to find new Jaune-centric stories, it's amazing.
I'll leave the names of said communities for those that want to find others who write amazing stories and want to show their love and support.
Thank you all for joining me as I work my way to becoming a competent writer.
List of Communities:
1. Jaune's Path
2. RWBY No Yuri No Yaoi
3. Neribus's Favorites
Other than that, nothing new to add, so...
Onward!

Chapter Three
What good day today had been for ole Jauney-Boy.
First he made a new friend, Ruby or as he'd been calling her "Gothic, Red-Riding, Hooded, Lolita", who could cause explosions just by sneezing.
Then he got to meet Ruby's kind and protective older sister, Yang. He wanted to stay and chat but for now, he had to find a place to stand so he wondered off and away from Yang, who had this weird "my entire reality had just shattered around me" look, and Ruby, who was still passed out from using her Semblance.
His blue eyes roamed the many, many, many new faces of who might be his potential classmates when his eyes settled on a girl with magma-red hair tied into a ponytail and bright, green eyes. She wore this bronze armor that reminded Jaune of those ancient warriors his grandfather would tell him. But the strangest thing about her was that everyone seemed to be moving away from her. Why though? Was there something wrong with her?
Well, there was only one way to find out.
Ask her.
And so he wormed his way through the crowd that was quickly expanding until he exited the crowd to see the girl was all by herself. That was pretty saddening to Jaune, as he watched her eyes fade into depression. That didn't sit well with him, as he hated to see his sisters being sad so he proudly walked over to the girl, unaware of the numerous looks he was receiving because of it.
The girl's green eyes looked up at his blue and her lips seemed to tighten as if expecting him to say something stupid.
Granted, he was but that was besides the point.
So, he walked up to the girl, the two of them staring at one another in silence as he stuck his hand out to her, smiling proudly just like his father told him and he said the same words he'd always say to his sisters when they were feeling down.
"Hi, I'm Jaune Arc, it's short, sweet, rolls off the tongue, and the ladies love it." he said smiling proudly as the girl continued to stare at him, covering her mouth as she began to let out small bouts of laughter at his introduction.
After finally controlling her laughter, which sounded pretty cute to him, she smiled at his own. "Do the ladies love it?" she asked, smiling with eyes filled with mirth. A smile that Jaune returned full-heartedly, feeling a surge of happiness consume his being as he watched her laugh aloud.
"I don't know, I've never thought to ask." he replied, smiling as the two of them began laughing once more, completely ignoring the looks they were getting from the other students, especially one with snow-white hair and glaring, ice-colored eyes.
"Well, it's nice to meet you Jaune. Are you applying for Beacon as well?" she asked, and Jaune sensing another opportunity couldn't let her words go unanswered. So, with a tone filled with sarcasm and amusement, he placed his chin between his extended index finger and thumb.
"Is that what this place is? And here I thought it was the new donut shop. I can't go a day without my glazed." he replied, smiling as she began laughing once more, covering her mouth to suppress it.
"I suppose that was a rather ridiculous question." she said, smiling as Jaune leaned his back against the wall.
"Nah, there's no such thing as a dumb question, only dumb people. That's what my grandfather once told me. So, I've told my name, care to tell me your's?" asked Jaune, smiling at his second potential friend. The thoughts of the two of them hanging out together as best friends filled him joy. They could go see the X-Ray Vav movie, read comics, and have tons of sparring!
But while Jaune was having daydreams of being able to spend time with his new friends, he was completely unaware to the mental dilemma that was occurring within his new friend's mind. Her green eyes starring blankly into space with her mouth agape in surprise.
"Y-You don't know me?" she asked, feeling surprised as her heart slowly started to beat faster and faster, filling with hope. As his dark blonde eyebrows slowly shifted into a look of peaked curiosity, the sun's glow shining through the stained glass windows and basking him in an angelic glow.
"Not really. Why, should I?" he asked as imaginary fireworks fired off just behind him, exploding into a variety of blinding lights and fiery explosions.
The angelical choir singing their illustrious voices into the heavens as the girl's heart exploded with joy!
It was finally happening!
She could finally act like a normal girl!
As long no one said anything about her past!
"Do you have any idea who you're talking to?" asked a snobbish voice, drawing their attention to a snow-haired beauty and destroying any inkling of hope that Pyrrha had built up. Jaune turned to look into the cold, blue eyes of a snowy haired beauty. Her apparel was a state of the art, frilly combat skirt that Jaune had seen on his other new friend, Ruby. Only this girl seemed to be wearing a white version of it with a white and red lining jacket.
But what had she meant by did he have any idea who he was talking to? Eh, no better time to ask than the present. So with a confident smile, he stuck his hand out just as he had with the girl just behind him. "Hello, I'm Jaune Arc, it's short, sweet, rolls off the tongue, and the ladies love it. What's your name?" he asked, smiling that same stupid grin he'd been having all damn day while the snow haired beauty glared at it as if he'd just just touch moldy shit.
"My name is Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company and you would do well to remember that." said Weiss, glaring at the stupid look on Jaune's face.
"Schnee Dust Company? What's that?" asked Jaune, changing Weiss look of disdain into one of utter shock.
"ARE YOU A COMPLETE DOLT?! How on Remnant could you NOT know what the Schnee Dust Company is?! We're only the largest producers of energy propellant in the world. We're the reason why technological advancements have exceeded expectations. Any form of technology you use is powered by the Dust WE produce, distribute, and sale! How do you not know this?!" she shouted, clenching her fists together as she yelled at this still-ginning moron in front of her.
"Well, actually, I used to live out in the countryside with my family. Our days were mainly filled with protecting our farm and, well, farming. We've been without modern day stuff for so long we've kind of neglected it. It's part of the reason I wanted to be a Huntsman, to explore the world and be a hero." said Jaune, scratching the back of his head out of embarrassment. "And to find some strong opponents." he added in his mind.
Ever since Jaune had become the strongest, it would always cause him trouble.
...9 Years Earlier...
It was an average day for young Jaune Arc, his father had been ecstatic over his newly acquired weapon, the mighty Dawnbringer, and he couldn't wait to begin training with it. So much so, that his father had decided to enroll him in a nearby Huntsman school in Vale, called Signal Academy. At first, his mother and sisters wanted nothing to do with the big city, saying that would only rot his juvenile mind but his father made a very, very, VERY convincing argument... "It's either this or I put Jaune on guard duty again."
And in a flash, the two of them were on the first flight to the big city of Vale and little Jaune could hardly keep his excitement in check as he shook in his seat, unaware of the massive amounts of turbulence he was causing. It took his father's tough and commanding plea and a bag of pretzels to calm him down but eventually their airship docked and they made their way out into the city and towards Signal.
From all the stories he'd heard about the big city from other Huntsman, who traveled in the countryside, Jaune always imagined the city to be this gigantic place where all your dreams came true. But if one had to ask him if he still felt this way, he'd instantly reply with a powerful "YES!"
The two Arc men swiftly traversed the crowd sidewalks of Vale. Jaune making sure to always have his father's hand due to his lousy sense of direction as they neared the school, were Jaune would hopefully begin his training. His little blue eyes widened at the side of the amazing school as students of various ages and grades made their way through the school's entrance.
Jaune looked up at his father, who held a stern look on his face, to which Jaune attempted to imitate. The two eventually made their way towards the main office, where Jaune's father quickly sat him in one of the chairs outside the office before dropping to one knee as he placed his strong, calloused hand on his shoulder. "Now, listen closely, Jaune. Papa's going to have a talk with the headmaster and we'll see if we can get you enrolled here. But I need you to do something VERY important for me, first." he said, his eyes growing dim and dark while Jaune continued to look up with that "innocent angel look".
"What is it Papa?" asked little Jaune.
"STAY. HERE. Do not move for anything." he quickly commanded, fearful of the mayhem his Jaune could end up due to his monstrous strength.
"What if I need to use the bathroom?" asked Jaune, quickly poking a hole in his father's unrevealed plan.
"Then you will need to hold it. No matter what happens...DO. NOT. MOVE. Understand?" his father asked and though Jaune felt it was unnecessary, he knew his father knew what was best for him so he merely nodded his head while his father went inside.
...5 Minutes Later...
"HOW DO YOU DESTROY AN ENTIRE SECTION OF THE SCHOOL?!" Jaune's father shouted, his left eye twitching at a rapid pace as he stared at the amazing amount of damage his own son had concocted. "I was only gone for 5 minutes, how did you do all of this?!" he shouted once more as he and others watched the mayhem unfold while little Jaune sat off to the side, kicking dust with his shoes.
"I saw a spider." he said simply, frowning as he remembered the fear that filled his body when he saw that eight-legged freak of horrors.
...Present...
"Well, since you're not at fault for being born where you were, I'll let your lack of common knowledge slide JUST this once. But you should know that you were speaking to THE Pyrrha Nikos." said Weiss, crossing her arms with a smug smile as all hope was dashed in front of Pyrrha's eyes.
"THE Pyrrha Nikos? Is she famous or something?" Jaune asked, feeling even more confused than before and re-igniting the fire of hope within young Pyrrha while simultaneously obliterating Weiss's smug attitude, which was swiftly replaced by a look of fury as her face reddened from anger.
"OF COURSE SHE IS, YOU DOLT!" she shouted, steam bellowing from her ears over having to speak to a moron like Jaune. "She's graduated top of her class at Sanctum Academy." she said, mistakenly allowing her smug attitude to surface once more and, once again, extinguishing the light in Pyrrha's dark tunnel.
"Is that another Huntsman School? I was home-schooled, myself." said Jaune, smiling at the fond memories of spending time learning with his mother. She always said that her dream was to be a teacher and she was so happy to have him as her first student. The only gripe he ever had was the amount of homework he to do. Seriously, who teaches a four-year old the ins and outs of College-level Mathematics?
"She's on the cover of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes box!" she screamed, flailing her arms wildly in the air. Her face completely red from anger towards the blonde knight in front of her.
"Pumpkin Pete's? No offense but that doesn't sound healthy, does it?" asked Jaune, leaning over to see Pyrrha, directing the question at her.
"Oh, i-it's not. Too much sugar and carbs." said Pyrrha, finally happy at being able to be included in the conversation.
The two soon beginning another conversation, excluding a still fuming Weiss.
"SHE'S THE FOUR TIME CHAMPION OF MISTRAL'S REGIONAL TOURNAMENT!" she finally screamed and forever changing the dynamic of the conversation as both Jaune's and Pyrrha's eyes widened, albeit for different reasons.
Pyrrha's reason was because she was fearful that her accomplishments would scare her first REAL friend away and leaving her alone once again on that tall pedastal.
But for Jaune, it was the answer he'd been seeking for years. Could Pyrrha be the ONE? His then took on a more analytical vision as his blue eyes scanned Pyrrha's body and armor.
Those leg muscles, those curves, and the slight discoloration showcases her reliance on her leg muscles. Most like using them in order to outmaneuver her opponents. And even though he couldn't see them directly, Jaune could tell that Pyrrha was certainly sporting an amazing six-pack, a tell tale of serious a work out regimen. Her arms, the light muscular arms and those tight forearms, one could tell that her fighting style relied on quick dexterity, needing to be in several places at once.
Then there was her bright, red hair, which was tied into a ponytail and any strands would be kept out of her face due to the circlet on her forehead, it would also grant her a full 180 degree view of anything in her point of view.
Next were her weapons, which remained strapped to her slender back. A bronze shield, perfect for defending, attacking, performing a supportive role, and countering an opponent's attack. Her sword, an excellent choice for a front-line fighter but if Jaune looked closely, he could tell that her sword was also a hybrid weapon. And by the look of of it's sleek and slender design then he had to guess that her weapon also functioned as rile, semi-automatic for obvious reasons and most likely a spear or lance function for both close and long range engagements.
Yes, she was the ONE!
A smile remained plastered on his face as he got down on one knee, slowly taking Pyrrha's soft, smooth palm in his own. The feeling of her rapidly, pulsating pulse filled him with such joy as he stared deeply into those beautiful green eyes. He instantly knew that she was the one for him. He had finally found them, the one he'd been looking for. And so he opened his mouth, ready to say the words he'd been hoping to say.
"Pyrrha Nikos..." he started, smiling as Pyrrha's eyes widened to astronomical levels, a heavy crimson blush growing on her cheeks as she found herself shocked over his actions. And believe him, Jaune figured he'd have time to come up with an amazing speech when he finally found the one but "one doesn't simply allow the one to slip through their grasp" as his grandfather would often tell him. "Even though, we've only just met, I can't help the flurry of emotions that fill my heart." he continued, oblivious to the number of eyes that were currently watching him and Pyrrha. "I want to see all of you. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I want to see it everyday when I wake and every night when I close my eyes. I want to feel your skin on my own and I hope to finally achieve what I've been dreaming of my entire life." said Jaune, smiling into the fully red face of Pyrrha Nikos. "Pyrrha, will you..." he said, taking a dramatic pause for added effect. "Fight me?" shocking everyone in the vicinity as he stared into Pyrrha's shocked face with a burning determination in his eyes.

What's this? Could this be an "Arkos" shipping? Or perhaps I'm just being a troll? Well that's for me to decide and for you all to find out.
As it comes to shipping, my decision is not set in stone. As such, shipping is completely open to those that wish but as such, be prepared for some epic "Shipping" trolling.
