Hello everyone, you must get tired of hearing me say sorry all the time that's because I am, I've dearly missed writing my stories, I've had a lot come up that has torn me from it but I will try and keep up my writing and not let my posting chapters get too far apart.

Disclaimer I do not own any of the Inuyasha plots or characters but I do own my own plot twists and characters, my OC's are; Mira, Mitsuhiko, Tadashi (aka; Akumu - means Nightmare) and Kimica (aka; Gekido - means rage) then the two that have been heard of but not seen (Taro and Narumi) ok so that's it. Enjoy guys!

Chapter 24: What happens next?

Kagome's view:

"Just pass me the shard" I said "Wait did you just call me by my name? It's Gekido idiot" Kimica said "Don't call my woman an idiot" Koga snapped growling slightly "Yeah besides no one is around anyways" Mira said "Lucky for her then huh?" Kimica said then tossed me the shard. I caught the shard and held it in my hands as I purified it once it was purified, I sighed as I looked at Kimica who had her back to me and was looking at the boar "Gekido I'm sorry I wasn't thinking earlier" I said. "Damn right you weren't but it's over now let's just get going" Kimica snapped then looked back to me "So which way Jewel detector?" Kimica asked "It's Kagome" Koga said sternly Kimica looked at him "And I don't care" Kimica said giving him a look then looked at me. "So?" Kimica said giving me a look "I can't feel any shards around besides the ones we have" I said "So what you just walk around blindly until you sense one?" Kimica asked with a raised brow.

"You got a better idea?" Inuyasha asked Kimica just turned away "Let's go this way" Kimica said without responding to Inuyasha my brows knitted together in thought about Kimica as we started walking when an arm around my shoulders brought me out of my thoughts. "Are you ok?" Koga asked I looked up to him "Yes I'm fine" I said with a smile Koga raised a brow "Are you sure what Gekido said has not upset you?" Koga questioned "I'm sure Koga, I'm fine it was my mistake anyways" I replied. "But she didn't have to go off at you like that, I don't like it when your talked down to" Koga said "I know but it's ok Koga, I have you and my friends here so it doesn't matter so much" I said Koga smiled. "I love how strong you are but you don't have to be tough around me though, you know that right?" Koga said "I know but I don't like worrying you or anyone else" I said "I gathered that but I'm here for you anytime you need me" Koga said.

Inuyasha's view:

As we walked it was hard not to hear Koga and Kagome talking, they had a love that I longed for, I frowned, I was hoping that I may have a chance with Mira but right now she seems to lack trust in me not to mention the situation she's in with Naraku, whatever it is. I just hope I can help her when she needs help, I puffed a short sigh then walked ahead and next to Kimica "So where's Akumu taking Sesshomaru?" I asked "Lord Sesshomaru" Kimica said "Whatever" I puffed. "Only he knows that, Akumu would gladly follow Sesshomaru but I have more of a tendency to want to lead unlike him" Kimica said "And look where that has got our group, Koga, you and I like to lead, there's too many leaders don't you think we should just elect someone" I said. "Tch what? Like you?" Kimica said giving me a sideways glare "And what's that meant to mean?" I puffed "This group of yours is more like a group of friends on a lunch date facing danger only when it suits them, to me this is not good enough to take on Naraku, that dead Priestess nor Taro and Narumi" Kimica snapped.

Mira's view:

I lacked behind everyone, Inuyasha was up head with Kimica having a somewhat heated conversation, while Koga and Kagome looked like they were have couple talk, Kohaku and Sango had been together and talking since being reunited. Kirara was carrying Shippo on her back as Miroku walked beside them, Miroku was having a conversation with Shippo about the bigger group we had become, Ginta and Hakkaku were not far behind Koga and Kagome but they gave them some space. They were talking about their tribe and Koga and Kagome's ceremony, I looked down at the ground as I followed, I was so caught up in my thoughts about what would happen next not just to this group but my family and friends that were held by Naraku. I just pray that they are ok and alive, I don't expect them to forgive me nor anyone here for my change in attitude, I looked up ahead seeing Inuyasha and sighed, I hope you can forgive me Inuyasha.

Ginta's view:

"So when do you think we'll be getting breaks now?" Hakkaku asked "Don't know" I replied as I shrugged my shoulders "It's different now, we not only have Sister Kagome's friends with us but Mira and now Gekido so who knows" I said. "Yeah well least the Tribe is ok and on the bright side we have a reason to celebrate now" Hakkaku said "Yeah that's true but Boss and sister Kagome still have to make the arrangements for when the ceremony is held" I said with a smile.

Hakkaku's view:

"Yeah well hopefully this mess with Naraku and these others we are after is over soon" I said "Hopefully, after all we do have a lot more people after him now" Ginta said "Yeah" I said then puffed a sigh seeing Inuyasha and Kimica up ahead having a heated conversation. "What do you think that's about?" I asked "Huh?" Ginta puffed and looked ahead then looked at me "I'd rather stay out of the arguments" Ginta said "Yeah that's probably the safest thing to do knowing what both of them are capable of" I said.

Kimica's view:

We had been walking for almost half the day when I decided to call for a break since the humans and Koga's comrades were tired, we were in a clearing by a river "Alright let's take a break here for a little while" I called out "See my side now huh?" Inuyasha said as he walked past me. "No I just figured it was time for a break" I snapped "Right…" Inuyasha said as he looked back at me with a look, I growled slightly and went over to the river in a huff, I knelt by it, I knitted my brows as I looked at my reflection in the water. I puffed a sigh and cupped my hands scooping up some water and taking a drink then scooped up some more water splashing my face with it and then the back of my neck, I thought this journey would be easy but it seems I still have a lot to learn. I looked back to the group, everyone was finding a spot to sit and relax, ever since Taro and Narumi, I shut myself off from everyone, I had to learn to trust them but it would take time, time we don't have.

Kagome's view:

I sat by Koga with my legs stretched out on the soft green grass, I sighed softly as I looked up at the clear blue sky that had a few white clouds "Are you ok?" Koga asked I looked at him in confusion "We've been walking for a long time" Koga said. I smiled "I'm fine Koga, I've walked further before" I said "Still, you can never be too careful" Koga said "And you? Are you ok?" I asked back, he grinned "Heh nothing can hurt me" Koga said I laughed. "Sometimes I think you have too much ego Koga" I said "I made you laugh didn't I? So I have to be doing something right" Koga said "As long as your safe and alive" I said, Koga smiled, one of those smiles that could melt your heart. Koga tucked some of my hair behind my ear as he moved closer to me "I truly am the luckiest man" Koga said as his sparkling sapphire eyes drifted between my eyes and my lips. "I think I'm the lucky one here, you never gave up on me, not for a second" I said he chuckled "Of course, there was no way and still is no way I'd ever give you up, I love you Kagome" Koga said "I love you too Koga" I said.

Koga's view:

I smiled "I'll never get sick of hearing that but yet every time you say it, it feels like the very first time" I said Kagome blushed as she looked away slightly, I leaned towards her and kissed her cheek as soon as I separated she looked at me "Koga there's others around…" she said softly. "Would you prefer me not to show you affection until were alone? Because alone time might be hard to find" I said Kagome looked conflicted I smiled at how beautiful she looked with rosy cheeks I moved towards her. "Kagome" I said softly enough for her to hear, she looked at me and in that instant I took the opportunity to kiss her, it only lasted a few seconds but it could have passed for an eternity "Koga!" Kagome exclaimed softly "I'm sorry Kagome" I said. She looked away slightly "I-It's ok" Kagome said "I promise I won't do it again unless you want me too" I said then laid back on the grass placing my hands behind my head and looked up at the sky, watching the clouds pass over.

I closed my eyes for a few minutes, I could just picture Kagome and I near the clearing by the waterfall at my-our territory, attend our ceremony, I sighed "Koga?" Kagome said, I opened my eyes and looked at her, she was still sitting by my side. "Yes?" I said "I was wondering when this is over and whether or not I can get back home, what do I do at your home?" I asked I smiled slightly as I sat up "Our home, and you can do whatever you want to, I'll even build you a hut in the clearing just for us if your more comfortable in a hut then living in cave" I said. "I'm ok with a cave but isn't there some role that the leader's mate has to take on?" Kagome said I smiled more "I don't expect you to do anything, I can tell you about wolf demon laws and traditions if you want to know but I don't expect you to follow any of them, just be you Kagome" I said. "So you'd be happy with me even if I didn't do anything?" Kagome asked "Yes Kagome, for the last time, I love you for you, don't change because you feel you have to or that you want to please me because I like you just the way you are" I said.

Kagome smiled "Ok, thank you Koga and I'm sorry for waking you" Kagome said I laughed slightly as I laid back down "You didn't, not really I was just day dreaming" I said "About what?" Kagome asked as she laid down on her back next to me. "Us and our future, what it would be like" I replied "And what was in this future of us that you dreamt?" Kagome asked I smiled as I looked at her "I thought about what our ceremony would be like but now that I think of it…" I said then trailed off as I looked to the sky. "What is it?" Kagome asked I sighed and looked back to Kagome "I want us both to live through defeat Naraku and others because I want to have a life with you, I want you to be my mate and for us to have pups-kids of our own, I don't care what I have to do Kagome, I want you to be happy" I said. Kagome blushed, neither of us looked away, we just held eye contact, her brown eyes meeting my blue eyes "You realise I'm only fifteen Koga" Kagome said "I can wait, I'm in no rush as I said I want you to be happy" I said. She just smiled as her eyes sparkled with teardrops forming in them "When this is all over maybe we can talk about the life we both want" Kagome said "I'd love nothing more than that" I said "I love you Koga" Kagome said "I love you too" I said with a smile.
