Hey guys I know it's been an awfully long time thanks to some many ideas I couldn't decide what to go with but after a long decision I've added a new very well you'll see... Now for the disclaimer I do not own any of the Inuyasha characters or plots just my own twists and characters, my OC's are; Yuzuki (main character, half-wolf demon/water sorceress), Raven (wolf demon 'bad guy'), Ryuu (water dragon), Kamiko (fire/earth dragon, Ryuu's mate), Taro and Kenji (Ryuu and Kamiko's children), Hayami (Yuzuki's mother), Tsuyoshi (Tiger demon/elemental sorcerer, Yuzuki's teacher), Narumi (Tiger demon, Tsuyoshi's mate), Kazuhiko (leader of the southern tribe, Sayuri's mate), Sayuri (leader of the western tribe, Kazuhiko's mate), Michiko and Satoru (wolf demons, children of Kazuhiko and Sayuri), Zurui (mixed-breed, fire sorcerer 'bad guy'). Chapter 15: The sudden forest fire

Michiko was a bit bewildered and shocked but she didn't seem too overwhelmed she looked to me and crash tackled me to the ground "Oof…" I grunted "I love you sis, this is going to be so much fun… We can do everything together now" Michiko exclaimed as she sat up I looked at her in awe as I sat up. Our father sat by Sayuri "Hey Yuzuki where's the three guys that you've been traveling with?" Satoru asked "I thought it was weird for you to be alone, they didn't leave you did they?" Michiko asked I looked to the ground "I left them all, we had a disagreement it's a long story…" I replied. "We have all the time in the world" father said I gave a small smile as I looked to him "Tell us everything dear we'll listen" Sayuri said I began to them of my whole life I was excited but nervous at the same time when I had got to tell them about the panther demons they were all upset. Once I had finished my story it seemed I had ruined the happy mood that even Sayuri was in "I can see why your friends wanted to do what they did, I'm grateful you have such good friends but unlike them I believe you can do this, you have your mothers gift and you're a half wolf demon, I think your friends should stop worrying so much and see who you really are" father said.

I was happy father believed in me I smiled "Kazuhiko do you want to send out a hunting party before it gets dark?" a voice called "Satoru come, we'll lead the hunting party" father said and gave Sayuri a kiss before standing up. Satoru and father went out "So sister these wolf demons you have after you, do you like any of them?" Michiko asked I could feel my face grow hot "Michiko dear why don't you go make everyone more aware of how great your half-sister is" Sayuri said Michiko giggled "Of course mother, I'll give Yuzuki the best reputation ever" Michiko exclaimed happily and then ran out. I looked to Sayuri she waved me over and I sat beside her "Yuzuki I gather you have a lot going on and I never had the chance to meet your mother but I wanted to, Kazuhiko would talk to her about me and vice versa, I never once thought of denying your father to be with your mother and having you apart of the family is a great honour" Sayuri said I smiled slightly. I looked away "A lot of people wouldn't accept a half-breed or even be happy about being related to a half-breed" I said "You have many friends although a lot may not appreciate you there are people who do, your friends care for you and so do we" Sayuri said.

I looked to her and smiled "Thank you Sayuri, I was slightly worried I would have been a burden being here but being a part of the family is more than I could have asked for…" I said I felt tears forming, I had my family now and I wasn't letting anything hurt them. "My dear you are a part of not only this family but the tribe you, Satoru and Michiko all have a chance to be the next southern tribe leader, Satoru and Michiko also have a chance to be the next western tribe leader" Sayuri said "But I don't think I'm worthy enough not everyone wants to look up to a half-breed, I'd be happy just to look out for the tribe and be Satoru or Michiko's right hand woman" I said. Sayuri smiled "I believe that's a trait you got from your mother, Yuzuki I believe you are able to do anything you want you have a kind generous heart and a strong sense for helping others even if it means your own demise…" Sayuri said she held my hand "Yuzuki I know I am not your mother and could never expect you to treat me as such, I don't wish to replace your mother but I want to be a mother like figure to you, someone you can look up to and come to about problems if you'd let me of course" Sayuri said. I couldn't believe what Sayuri was saying, she wanted to be a mother to me to take me in, I was already Satoru and Michiko's half-sister, I love my mother and didn't want to disrespect her yet I wanted this "I love my mother and as much as I don't want to disrespect her by becoming your daughter, I do want this" I said.

Sayuri smiled "I get that this must be very overwhelming for you, just know that I'm always here for you like I am for Satoru and Michiko" Sayuri said "Thank you Sayuri" I said we talked for ages about anything that would come to mind it was nice. I could hear father in the main den "Come we'll go out and eat with everyone so you and the tribe can become acquainted" Sayuri said, I helped her up and we walked out together the tribe didn't give me glares or bad looks, I was greeted with smiles and thanks from nearly everyone. I was wondering what was going on I hadn't done anything Satoru and Michiko were sitting on their fur/straw piles I walked Sayuri to the big fur/straw pile that was in between them, I helped Sayuri get comfortable. Father had come over and placed an arm around my shoulders "Listen up everyone" father said aloud and everyone went quiet and listened intently "This is Yuzuki my second child, she ran all the way here this morning to protect us from this Naraku character who has killed some of our wolf demon brethren from another tribe, she is determined to kill Naraku and his followers, if she or her friends should need help you are to lend a hand" father said.

"That's not necessary, I don't want any more wolf demons to get hurt" I said father looked to and smiled "We'll help!" one called out "Yeah you helped us let us return the favour" another called out I looked at them in awe. I didn't want anyone just giving there life up "We shall lend a hand when you are in trouble no buts, now everyone enjoy the food" father said I walked with him and he and Sayuri shared their spot with me, there was a variety of food to choose from fish, boar and even a deer. "FIRE!" a voice screamed I jumped up and ran out part of the trees had caught on fire, I narrowed my eyes and summoned water towards me "Kazuhiko my daughter is in there" a woman exclaimed "I got her" I said and ran towards the trees on fire. I coughed as smoke started to build up the water came my way I looked around seeing the little girl, I ran over to her and grabbed her she screamed "It's ok I got you" I said she clung to me I kept regenerating water and put out the fire by bit.

"So you're Yuzuki huh? You don't look that skilled but you have a nice face" a man's voice rung out I growled as I held the girl close "Who's there?" I asked "An old friend of Tsuyoshi's, Zurui, maybe you should ask him who I am to him" Zurui said. I could see his figure through the smoke, he had wolf ears and a tail but had bat like wings, I sniffed through the smoke to get his scent, he smelt like a mixed breed, I had never seen one before he had a very intimidating air about him. I growled "Leave now and never let me catch you around here again" I snapped "You sure act tough even though your only half wolf" Zurui said "And you're sure cocky for a mixed demon now get out of the southern wolf tribes territory, in fact stay away from all wolf tribes" I growled. "You seem fairly sure of yourself, one could say almost too confident… I like you so I'm going to make you an offer, you join me and leave the tribe behind and we can kill Naraku and get the jewel or you can stay and die with these pathetic wolf demons" Zurui said coldly "How dare you think of harming your own kind" I growled.

"My kind I am half-wolf demon and half-vampire bat demon, I was cast out from both you were cast out by humans and wolf demons at a young age, think about it why settle for saving them when you can have them fear you, ruling over the whole region knowing you are the best" Zurui said in a lustful way and flashed me a smirk showing his fang. I narrowed my eyes I had the water close by "Never will I hurt my own kind or nor do I want to think about it, if you go ahead with your plans I'll have no choice but to kill you" I growled he's smirk disappeared "We'll see about that, you may control water but how long does it take for the heat for my fire to evaporate your water" Zurui said. A smiled appeared on his face "But first let's see if you can get out of the smoke and flames that surround you" Zurui says as he stretches out his wings and fanned a gush of smoke towards us and shot fire balls from his hands at the trees around us the girl screamed "Mommy!" she screamed. "See you soon, Yuzuki" Zurui sneered and flew off, I coughed and looked around to see only flames and black smoke I saw the trees around us about to fall over I summoned water around us and formed a barrier around us while I summoned more water to put out the fire.

I looked to the little girl "It's ok now your safe, once the fires out we can go to your mother" I said she sniffed and gave a nod as she clung to me even tighter she was scared and had a right to be forest fires were scary enough with a demon setting them a light. I couldn't figure out I now knew in order to beat this demon and Naraku I had to work on my sorcery and make water on the spot I couldn't just rely on summoning water I had to make it. The smoke had gone lighter in colour and was easy enough see through "We're going out now just don't let go of me" I said "Ok" she said I let the barrier down and ran off I got out of the smoke to see my family and the tribe looking in worry. "Hey you wanna go to your mother now?" I said she looked to me and gave a nod I placed her down "Mommy!" she yelled as she ran to her mother and her mother ran to her, I smiled "What happened? Are you ok?" father asked as he walked over to me and I to him.

"Lord Kazuhiko, Yuzuki saved me and there was this mixed breed and he wanted Yuzuki to work with him and kill all the wolf tribes but she wouldn't and she said she'd protect us all" the little girl exclaimed before I could say anything, I gave a nervous smile. "A mixed demon, I've never heard of such a thing" one called "Yuzuki?" my father said "She's not lying, the mixed-breed was half wolf demon and half vampire bat demon, he wants the jewel that Naraku has, this has become much worse" I said. "What is the name of this mixed breed?" my father asked "He's name is Zurui and he knows of my friend Tsuyoshi" I said father frowned "Father? Do you know him?" I asked "No but a wolf demon passed by a while ago the one that hurt you, Raven he had said that if we saw a mixed-breed by that name that we were just to submit to him, he claimed that they were related…" father replied.

I frowned as I gritted my teeth, if they are related maybe Naraku went after the wrong one either that or he captured Raven to draw in Zurui, I have to get to Tsuyoshi and ask about Zurui if I stay here any longer who knows what could happen. If I leave though what about the tribes they'll be left defenceless to Naraku or Zurui's attacks "Yuzuki, I know that look all too well…" father said I looked to him "Do what you have, we'll be fine" father said "Are you sure?" I asked. Father smiled "Of course, be careful" father said as he pulled me into a hug "I will" I said we separated "I could go with you, I can help" Satoru said I shook my head "You're need here, you want to be the next leader right so look after them" I said. Satoru frowned and hugged me "Just give me a yell and I'll be there" Satoru said "I will" I said just then Michiko had joined the hug "I miss you already" Michiko said I smiled "I'll watch out for you guys, I promise" I said we all separated.
