Hello everyone, you must get tired of hearing me say sorry all the time that's because I am, I've dearly missed writing my stories, I've had a lot come up that has torn me from it but I will try and keep up my writing and not let my posting chapters get too far apart.

So now onto the disclaimer I do not own any of the Inuyasha characters or plots just my own twists and characters, my OC's are; Yuzuki (main character, half-wolf demon/water sorceress), Raven (wolf demon 'bad guy'), Ryuu (water dragon), Kamiko (fire/earth dragon, Ryuu's mate), Taro and Kenji (Ryuu and Kamiko's children), Hayami (Yuzuki's mother), Tsuyoshi (Tiger demon/elemental sorcerer, Yuzuki's teacher), Narumi (Tiger demon, Tsuyoshi's mate), Kazuhiko (leader of the southern tribe, Sayuri's mate), Sayuri (leader of the western tribe, Kazuhiko's mate), Michiko and Satoru (wolf demons, children of Kazuhiko and Sayuri), Zurui (mixed-breed, fire sorcerer 'bad guy') Kiriko (Naraku's new incarnation), Yukiko (Snow/Ice sorcerer), Daisuke Ishikawa and Yoshirou Ishikawa and of course the new person who's name nor face has been revealed yet.

Chapter 26: An Evil Sickness.

"I may only be half demon but I want to help others like my mother did, please allow me one chance" I said "I promised my father that I would accept you into the village though I'm sure the villagers would feel safer if you'd prove yourself but until that time you are welcome in this village" the elder said. I looked at him, he smiled "My father was very fond of you, Yuzuki, he talked about you and your mother often" the elder said "I only wish I could have returned his kindness" I said "My father would have liked to see you once more before he passed but knowing you're here now wanting to help us would make him very happy" the elder said. I smiled slightly as I stood up "Daisuke tell your grandmother of our guest and make sure everyone knows not to harm Yuzuki" the middle-aged man said "Yes father" Daisuke said and walked off. "Forgive us, my name is Ishikawa, Kazuki and this is my son, Ishikawa Hiroshi" the elder said "It's a pleasure" I said with a slight bow of my head "Lord Ishikawa, Kazuki forgive me but what if she is the cause of that demon that has been terrorizing us?" one of the men said. "A demon has been terrorizing the village? How long has this been going on?" I questioned Lord Kazuki sighed "A demon attacked a few weeks before you were first sighted and has been coming back mostly at night and picking off any one who wonders off" Lord Kazuki said sadly.

I growled "I'll deal with the demon everyone should stay inside their homes tonight" I said "We can gather some of the strongest men and fight the demon with you" Lord Hiroshi said "No offense intended but stay inside where it's safe" I said. "You have a point my son but Yuzuki is also right" Lord Kazuki said "Yes father, if I may ask Yuzuki, why have you come back? Was it just to prove yourself or was it to see your mother's hut again?" Lord Hiroshi asked. "Both, I must see my mother's hut for an important reason my mother's teacher left something very important there and if I do not have it then some very evil demons may have advantage and take over the region causing more chaos" I replied "Evil demons?" one villager said in awe. "I along with others are seeking them out to destroy them before they cause any more destruction and ruin more lives" I said "These friends of yours, are they demons as well?" Lord Kazuki asked. "Some are, though I do not wish them to get hurt I have more enemies then they do that is why I wish to get what I need from my mother's hut and make sure your village is free of pests" I said "You're being hunted while you hunt others, you lead a dangerous life" Lord Kazuki said.

"I led a dangerous life as soon as I was born, being a half demon means you'll always have someone trying to kill you" I said Lord Kazuki sighed "You are one that does not deserve to be treated poorly, my father judged you right, if there is anything we can do to help…" Lord Kazuki started. "No, do not get involved in this I will check up on you with my sorcery as I do with the wolf demon tribes" I said "As you wish, we respect you wanting to keep us safe" Lord Kazuki said "Thank you" I said. "Yuzuki if I may ask my father was curious about what happened to you after that night?" Lord Kazuki asked I looked away as I sighed "I roamed around trying to help others that needed help but no one likes half demons" I said. "You were sighted with others not long ago, my son counted three humans and quite a few demons with you" Lord Hiroshi said I gave a nod "Yes, they're my friends the last few weeks have been interesting, I've made both human and demon friends one being half dog demon, they've helped me without them I'd most likely be dead by now" I said. "You have allies here and I'm sure after you kill the demon you'll have no problems with the villagers" Lord Kazuki said "I doubt that, some people can not be changed so easily but until I kill this demon is there anything you or the villagers need help with?" I said.

"We're in the middle of harvest season right now, there's a lot to do" Lord Hiroshi said "I could help in the fields or where ever you need help the most" I said "Do you know anything about healing?" Lord Kazuki asked "Yes, is someone hurt or sick?" I replied "My wife" Lord Hiroshi said. I looked at him, I could feel sadness and fear radiate of him "My wife, Fumiko is very sick, the first time the demon showed up it tried to take our children my wife put her self between our children and the demon…" Lord Hiroshi said. "Fumiko was hurt, it took the whole village to drive the demon off, Fumiko has not recovered properly since" Lord Kazuki said "Was anyone else hurt and is suffering the same as Lady Fumiko?" I asked. "Some villagers have fevers and make complaints of being in pain" Lord Hiroshi said "Fumiko is in the worst condition though" Lord Kazuki said "May I see the injured and sick villagers as well as Lady Fumiko?" I asked. "Of course" Lord Kazuki says then turns to his son "Take her to the sick and injured and then to your wife afterwards I would like to see Yuzuki for her opinion on everyone's state" Lord Kazuki said "Yes father" Lord Hiroshi said.

They both looked at me "If you need anything my son will see that you get what you need to help the people" Lord Kazuki said I bowed my head "I will do my very best to help your people" I said "Thank you, I trust you will please excuse me I have other matters that need my attention" Lord Kazuki said. "Of course, thank you for your kindness" I said as I bowed my head once more he gave a slight smile and nod of his head then walked off with some of the men went with Lord Kazuki while a few stayed with his son, Lord Hiroshi "I'll take you to the homes of those who are sick" Lord Hiroshi said. "Thank you" I said I walked with Lord Hiroshi while the men followed us still armed but I couldn't blame them, if their village has been attacked by a demon the have a right to be sceptic, we came to the first hut, Lord Hiroshi went in and I followed. An elderly woman and a teenage boy were both very sick, I had looked them over after Lord Hiroshi spoke to the head of the home for permission, they both had a bad fever as well as suffered from some aches and pain. They both then told me that they had been having bad nightmares, the same bad nightmare, I looked to the man of the house "Is this your mother?" I asked as a I knelt beside the woman and looked over her.

"No my wife, this sickness has aged her and my son dramatically" he replied in detail I raised a brow and then knitted my brows together as I looked to the boy and the woman "Can you help them?" he asked in hope I looked to him. "I will do everything in my power to help, you have my word" I replied, after I treated them the best I could we continued to the next home and the next until we had finished with the sick villagers "My wife is the last you need to see" Lord Hiroshi said. "Ok" I said as I kept thinking over what could be causing this "Yuzuki between us, this is not natural for the sick villagers to have all the same nightmares and to have aged so much, right?" Lord Hiroshi asked in a hushed tone. I sighed "I will not lie, this is something I have not seen before but I am certain this demon is the cause and the possible solution to helping everyone" I replied softly only for him to hear, I could feel the worry and fear in the air not just from Lord Hiroshi but from everyone in the village. I frowned as kept my senses up this village was in trouble enough, I had to be vigilant for whatever demon has been terrorising them "Father!" a young teenage girl called out I looked over to her voice seeing her and a young boy running over towards us.

The teenage girl looked around thirteen or fourteen years old, she has hazel-green eyes and hip length, light to medium brown hair that was done up into two ponytail at either side of her head her fringe is puffy and parts more on the left side. The boy was around nine or ten years old, he has hazel eyes, short almost shoulder length straight, medium brown hair with a straight fringe that reaches just below eyebrow length, the boy looked almost identical to Yoshirou. "Natsuko, Hiroko what are you both doing out of the hut? I thought I said to stay inside with your mother where it's safe" Lord Hiroshi said "I know father but we thought you'd want to know mother is awake now" the girl said. "Uh father is this the good demon?" the boy asks as he hides slightly behind the girl "Yes, this is Yuzuki daughter of Lady Hayami the water sorceress who used to protect our village" Lord Hiroshi said then looked to me. "Yuzuki these are my youngest children, my daughter Natsuko and my son Hiroko" Lord Hiroshi said gesturing to them I smiled and gave a bow "It's nice to meet you both" I said then looked to Hiroshi.

"Your son looks at lot like Lord Yoshirou when he was a child" I said "Really?" Hiroko asked I looked at him "Absolutely, I almost thought you were him for a moment" I replied he smiled as he came out from behind his sister "Hiroshi" Lord Kazuki called out. We looked over to see him come over "Have you been around to see all the villagers?" Lord Kazuki asked "All but my wife, father" Lord Hiroshi replied "Then let us all go there now before it gets dark" Lord Kazuki said. "Yes father" Lord Hiroshi said Lord Kazuki turned to the men following us "Everyone can go home to their families and make sure you stay inside tonight, Yuzuki is here to help if there is trouble we will sound the alarm" Lord Kazuki said. They all bowed then split off to go home for the night "Come Yuzuki once you have seen my daughter-in-law, Fumiko I would like a detailed explanation if possible of what is going on and how to help everyone" Lord Kazuki said "Of course" I said. Lord Hiroshi walked with his children at either side of him in front I walked behind them with Lord Kazuki walking beside me, he seemed unsettled and distressed, everything that has happened must have taken a bad toll on him.

We soon got to a large home, the head villagers home, I only got glimpses of it most the time but it still looked just as beautiful the first time I saw it, the detail amazed me "You have a beautiful home, Lord Kazuki" I said. "Thank you, you probably already know but it has been in the family for generations" Lord Kazuki said "Yes and it is in great hands with your family Lord Kazuki" I said "You say such kindness yet you were treated poorly by this village, why?" Lord Kazuki asked. I smiled "It's my mother's home and it was mine at one stage, I loved this village no matter how much I was hated, I was taught my mothers skills by lake around here and played in the fields" I said. "I'm sorry my grandfather drove you out of the village and killed your mother Yuzuki" Lord Kazuki said I looked at him "It's ok, I know my mother will always be with me in some way" I said, we walked into his home and he took me straight to his daughter-in-law Fumiko. We went into a room, there was Lord Hiroshi, his three children; Daisuke, Natsuko and Hiroko, then there was an elderly woman sitting by an elderly woman that was barely awake in a futon "This is my wife Amaya and my daughter-in-law Fumiko" Lord Kazuki said gesturing to them.

The woman knelling beside the woman in the futon has light murky green eyes, has light grey hair in up in a neat high bun, she has a straight fringe that reaches her eyebrow length and has two side fringes that hang in front of her ears that reach her chest. The woman in the futon has hazel eyes and medium brown that has streaks of grey through it, which is tied up in a high bun and has an evenly parted fringe that would go to her eyebrow length, I went over to the futon and knelt on the other side opposite to Lady Amaya. "It's nice to meet you both, I'm Yuzuki, daughter of Lady Hayami, I'm here to help how I can" I said "Then by all means help but if you're the demon causing this" Lady Amaya snapped "Amaya please my love, let Yuzuki help my grandfather falsely accused her and her mother" Lord Kazuki said. Lady Amaya stood up "Did he? We were not their Kazuki" Lady Amaya puffed then looked at me "They may trust you but I will not, not until you prove yourself" Lady Amaya said then looked to her grand-children. "Daisuke, Natsuko, Hiroko, all of you out now, I won't allow you anywhere near this half breed" Amaya said "But…" Daisuke "No arguing out now" Lady Amaya said Hiroko, Natsuko and Daisuke left followed by Lady Amaya.

I do have a lot more stories of Ginta getting a mate way more then Hakkaku so if anyone has any ideas of who Hakkaku should get as a mate or even who Ginta should get as a mate please feel free to PM (Private Message) or leave a comment below and I will dedicate the story in your honour!
