Tai was fast asleep when Loki reentered the room at midnight. Loki let out a sigh when he discovered she was lying on the ground with the ropes broken around the chair. He slowly approached her, so she wouldn't stir, and carefully picked her up into his arms. He exited the "torture" room and headed for his bedroom. It was a huge place with the color scheme of green and black and gold. The bed was green with black fluffy pillows.
He thought "Since when do prisoners cause this much annoyance?" As he placed her gently onto the king size bed. When he attempted to stand back up a hand latched onto his wrist.
"No, stay" Tai mumbled into the black pillows. She yanked him with enough force to pull him onto the bed. While he laid there in shock she wrapped an arm around his midsection and rested her head onto his chest. "Comfy" she mumbled before drifting back to sleep.
Loki gave her sleeping form a smirk before getting comfortable himself. He pulled her closer to him before drifting himself. He failed to notice the fact that he started to glow blue. Tai simply snuggled closer into him with a content smile on her face.
Ani stops in front of a nice looking hotel. She waits as Bruce dismounts the bike before doing so herself then hands the keys over to a valet boy. They enter the hotel, gaining looks from many of the other guests. Ignoring them, Ani struts up to the front desk clerk, a man with graying black hair and a tired expression, and leans onto the counter. Bruce stands next to her. "May I help you two?" the clerk says.
"I would like a room for the night." Ani says without really looking at the clerk.
"And are you two related or…?"
Ani says "He's my brother," at the same time Bruce says "I'm her boyfriend." There is a pause and Ani says, "He's my brothers boyfriend, they are getting married and I thought we could use some bonding." She ends with a big smile.
The clerk rolls his eyes and mutters "to each his own ". Typing into his computer he declares that the only room left was the honeymoon suite. "But that won't be a problem seeing as you two are bonding correct?"
It is Bruces turn to smile this time, "No, not a problem at all." As Ani just scowls.
The clerk hands them the key and watches as Ani stomps towards the elevators. He calls out "the pool is open to midnight as is the bar!"
They ride the elevator up in silence. Upon reaching their floor, Ani storms out and unlocks their room. She immediately head to the balcony to check out the view and the pool. The sun was just setting so she decided to relax and enjoy the sight. Bruce on the other hand was watching her instead, thinking of how amazing she had been thus far. Clearing his throat he joins her outside and says "I think we should go to sleep, then when the earth turns allowing us to see we should head out one more."
"I need a drink." She says ignoring what he just said.
He sighs. "I do not believe we have time for such a thing. It will be unwise."
"We don't have five minutes?"
"... Fine. I suppose five minutes would not hinder your sleep..."
"Nope. Then after the drink I'm going to go swimming."
"How? you do not have a swimsuit."
"Since when do I need a swimsuit?" Ani smirks at him.
" You can't be serious!"
"If you say so, you're the scientist." And with that she leaves the room and heads for the bar.
Bruce sighs and sits on the bed. He looks at the clock and mutters "5 minutes…"
*1 hour later*
Ani is now bored of the bar since she doesn't have Tai to annoy. So she decides that now would be a good time for a swim. When she gets there she finds that it is empty.
About this time Bruce, who had been pacing the room, walked by the balcony. The sight that greeted him was Ani stripping down and jumping in the water. His reaction was to grab a towel and rush outside.
Ani sees Bruce running towards her and she smiles, "Want to join, the water is nice!" she yells to him.
"Ani get out this instant! You'll freeze or worse, get us kicked out!"
Ani looks hurt and swims to the middle of the pool, "Is us getting kicked out really worse then me freezing?"
"Ani, you know thats not what i meant. Please come out? I'll carry you back to the room so you don't even have to walk!"
"What did you mean Bruce?" Ani calls with a slight smirk.
"You are so frustrating! I mean I'm worried about you, Okay?" Bruce sighs and runs his hand through his hair.
With that Ani gets out of the pool and jumps into Bruce's arms, "Awwww, you care about me how sweet." and she kisses him on the cheek.
Bruce smiles, "of course i care. You are an amazing and talented woman" he begins the trek up the stairs.
"I know all of that but why are you saying it?"
"Ani, do you truly not know why I say that about you?" Bruce locks his eyes with hers as they reach their room.
"I have a few guesses," She says the kisses him.
He kisses her back with all the passion she herself suppresses.
Tai burrows her head into whatever she was laying on. Remembering she was supposed to be on some floor, she opens her eyes to discover a chest as her pillow. Raising her head slightly she can only utter "You're blue…"
He doesn't open his eyes, "No, I'm not now go back to sleep."
She shrugs and lays back down, enjoying the coldness radiating from him.
Ani opens her eyes to find that Bruce is still sleeping and looks at his now bare chest tinged slightly green. "Hmm" She says to herself, "He's green and comfy.' And with that she lays back down on his chest. Enjoying the warmth.
