Hello everyone, you must get tired of hearing me say sorry all the time that's because I am, I've dearly missed writing my stories, I've had a lot come up that has torn me from it for example I moved house, had 2 operations, family get together at Christmas, cars broke down ... and of course my laptop for some strange reason would not let me update ... weird but true anyways, I will try and keep up my writing and not let my posting chapters get too far apart.
Ok before I start my little intro I am going to be changing my Profile name from Wolf-Lover26 to Da-Wolf-Goddess so please keep your eyes open I will change it on... Let's say 26/03/2018 which may be the 25/03/2018 for others. I just thought I would give you a heads up, this is most likely the only time I will change after that it will stay that way.
I have done a ''story'' called Author's Notes up which I will keep everyone up to date with my stories I have up currently along with new ones I will be uploading and what they are based on (anime/manga/game, etc). So if you want heads up or just to see what's going on then I recommend you to follow but that's your choice of course.
Just a disclaimer to start this off I do not own any of the Inuyasha plots/story line or characters but I do own my own character - Hana (Kagome's older sister), Masashi (Kagome's father), Ami (Kagome's mother), Zealous (Masahi's Blade), Hikaru (Naraku's brother), Deathraze (Naraku's sword), Tsukiko (Hikaru's daughter) and Kaito (Hana's best friend), Alright enjoy guys.
Chapter 13: Dancing with Fire
Hana's view:
Ichi was from the a dog clan different to Inuyasha's father, his father Inu no Taisho hailed from the White Inu Clan whereas Ichi hailed from the Black Inu Clan before the Clans had started to fall apart, Ichi has mid-shoulder length jet black hair that he kept up in a high bun his eyebrow length fringe hung loose scruffily, he had amber eyes like Inuyasha but they had slight flexes of crimson in them unlike Inuyasha's eyes. "I am never letting Ichi live this down" Tsukiko said "I don't think anyone will" I said "Likewise for Inuyasha" Sango said "Hey that reminds me of something I've always wanted to ask a cat demon" Tsukiko said as she looked at Kaito "What?" he questioned with a slightly concerned look "Cats hate water right?" Tsukiko said. "Yes and?" Kaito said as looked at Tsukiko slightly more worried now "So are cat demons the same? I know your a leopard demon but your still qualified as being apart of the cat family" Tsukiko said "I bathe don't I? That should be answer enough" Kaito said "So if I threw water on y... Tsukiko started to say "I'd be getting my pay back on you" Kaito said. Tsukiko laughed "Knew it" Tsukiko said I just shook my head "Alright kids, this has been fun but I have to do another check on things then I will be back unless something comes up" Hikaru said "Which it won't" Tsukiko said "Always be pre-pared" I said "You'd just love for something to happen wouldn't you?" Tsukiko said "What? When we're already having soo much fun, never" I said.
"Hana no working not today" Hikaru said then walked off "Have fun kids" Hikaru called out as he continued to walk off "You too father!" Tsukiko called out "Hands off mutt!" Ichi exclaimed "I had it first!" Inuyasha exclaimed I went to get up "Don't stress boss I got this" Tsukiko said as she sprung to her feet and ran over to them "So what festive surprises are there here?" Miroku asked "Sometimes there's a few games played but nothing extreme" Kaito replied. "No fireworks?" Kagome asked "Sorry sis but we are not going to risk setting a fire off in here or giving our location away out there" I said "The bon fire tonight is usually the best time, there's lots of singing and dancing" Kaito said "Along with way too many of our people getting drunk" I added "Yeah but it's all part of the fun" Kaito said "I've never seen you really drunk, tipsy perhaps but you never get completely drunk" I said. "Gee I wonder why?" Kagome said with a look I frowned giving a look right back to her "Mouth shut" Kagome said then did a zipper motion across her lips with her right hand, I shook my head sighing slightly "I've been meaning to ask, will you both be seeing the rest of your family or will you bring them here? would that be possible?" Sango asked "Either is possible but now is a dangerous time with Naraku about besides I'd rather they stay were they are" I replied.
Kagome's view:
"I agree, besides Sota might just be more encouraged to come and help once he finds out what we are and the cult that you are apart of" I said "Sorry but you are apart of this cult too now" Kaito said "Huh? What do you mean?" I asked in confusion "You did say you'd help even if it's only using your spiritual powers" Hana said "But isn't there an initiation thing that happens if you join a cult?" I asked. "Of course but your a Higurashi, your father is highly respected so therefore you have a chance to join if you want though you still..." Kaito started "There's a small test and then you get acknowledged by everyone in the cult, there's a feast then boom, your one of us" Hana said cutting Kaito off, Hana then looked at Kaito "Sorry but there's no rush for Kagome to go through all the details just yet just basics" Hana said. "It's ok, I guess I do tend to talk a little too much into details" Kaito said "Yeah too much sometimes I think your too formal even to be a cat demon" Tsukiko says as she comes over dragging Inuyasha by the back of his Haori "Leopard demon" Kaito growled slightly "Whatever your still part of the cat family" Tsukiko said "I'm still not a cat even though I am of the feline family" Kaito puffed. "Agreed, Tsukiko that's like calling Kagome and I a common dog" Hana said "Hey! What's wrong with that?!" Inuyasha snapped "Oh sorry, are you fully with us now and not focused on that stick?" Hana questioned teasingly "We can always get you your own personal stick" Tsukiko said playing along "That is not funny at all" Inuyasha puffed "When are the bon fires being lit?" Shippo asked "Closer to dusk" Kaito replied "That's when the real fun starts" Tsukiko added.
Hours pass.
No One's POV.
The night had come and was still young, the bon fire lit and burning bright, other smaller bon fires were lit. Demons, full, half and mixed as well as the humans were dancing, joking and some singing others, that had families there were telling their children bedtime stories of heroic tales within their cult. The new comers, Kagome and her friends including the wolf trio were all enjoying the festive night. Laughter and good vibes rung out throughout the secret cults lair but soon was to be filled with silence. The large bon fire had grown extraordinarily, the flames burning brighter but their colour was no longer normal, the fire now had an ice like look, blues and silvers combined lighting the area long extinguishing any near by flames. Hikaru, Hana, Tsukiko, Kaito, Kagome and her friends had rushed over as others backed away from the large now icy looking bon fire. Before any of them could say a word a figure in the fire had appeared, the person's clothing is that of the Grim Reaper Cult, their face so clearly seen by all. Everyone looked in awe, most knelling down in respect, for this person was none other than Masashi.
Multiple views:
Kagome: Dad... Could that really be him? I could feel the tears building up.
Hana: "Father" I muttered as a couple tears escaped.
Hikaru: How is this possible?
Tsukiko/Kaito: "Masashi" they said in awe.
No One's POV. Reapers Cult Hide-Out.
"Grim Reapers Cult, listen up and listen well" Masashi's voice echoed out everyone's eyes were on his figure in the icy fire and their ears listening to his voice "Naraku has allies, one in particular that you have not found out about yet, if you do not find him soon all this, all of Japan and soon after the world, will cease to exist" Masashi's voice rug out "How are we to find that out?" Inuyasha puffed. Masashi's eyes that were focused on one point quickly turned to focus on him "Second son to Inu no Tashio, my friend Toga" Masashi said everyone went wide-eyed to Masashi responding to Inuyasha's question "You have all you need, as long as you work together things should work out but you must move quickly" Masashi said. "Masashi old friend, are you a spirit now?" Hikaru asked Masashi's eyes darted from Inuyasha to Hikaru "In a way" Masashi replied "Dad" Kagome said her voice wavering as tears ran down her face, Masashi's eyes turned to Kagome then Hana, a smile was soon on his face "Hana, Kagome, my two beautiful, strong daughters" Masashi said "Father I'm sorry I couldn't save you" Hana said as more tears had fell. "I'm sorry to dad, if I hadn't said what I had that night maybe we'd all still be together" Kagome said "Do not apologize, everything happens for a reason even if we think we have control, instinct will drive us all" Masashi said Kagome and Hana looked at each other then to their father "We love you father" Hana said "And we promise to make you proud" Kagome added.
"I did and will always love you two girls, but you have both grown into fine young women each with your own paths to follow, all I want for you both is happiness do not worry about making me proud because you have already done so, many times" Masashi said then his eyes looked over the people in the cult "Follow Hikaru, he will lead you to victory and peace" Masashi said aloud "Masashi, my lord, fellow cult members have seen you a black mist and heard your voice on the wind, was that you?" Tsukiko asked. A smirk now crossed Masashi's face "Was it? That is for you all to find out" Masashi said then looked to his daughters "There is still so much you don't know, in order to defeat Naraku you must know our true heritage, go home, bring your friends if you must" Masashi said the fire started to weaken and sparks of gold and orange started to appear "DAD!" Hana and Kagome exclaimed "Go home girls, talk with your mother and grandfather, they will explain all" Masashi said. Kagome and Hana held each other's hands tightly as tears flowed down their faces like a waterfall Masashi looked at Hikaru "Goodbye old friend" Masashi said "Goodbye friend" Hikaru said sadly Masashi's eyes looked to his weeping daughters "I love you both" Masashi said with a soft warm smile, the girls were too choked-up to say anything though there was a million things that each of them had wanted to say. The fire had then extinguished and lit back up as it's usual colour and fir height it had been before Masashi had taken over the flames, the Higurashi girls fell to the knees embracing each other crying over their father as Hikaru had ending their Rest Day celebrations early and started to plan involving everyone who was not yet drunk to go explore Japan and seek out this helper of Naraku that he had hidden so well not even Hikaru knew about.
The next two views all happen at the same time. (Hana's and Kagome's views.)
Hana's view:
Kagome clung to me just as tightly as I clung to her, my arms around her, I had never felt so upset other then leaving my family and watching my father die, now his spirit shows up in a bon fire when Kagome and I have been reunited and become just as close if not more then when we were kids, but could that be him? Or well truly be his spirit? I have never seen anything like that before. I couldn't believe it, our father, I had remained strong for so long but seeing him, I could not hold my walls up, it's my fault that I couldn't save our father, he died because I wasn't strong enough to help him in battling Naraku, I'm sorry to our family for not being as great a warrior as you, father, I should have been better but I won't fail you this time, I will kill Naraku and protect what's left of our family.
Kagome's view:
I clung to Hana as I cried, I hadn't seen my father since I was a child and seeing him again but not being able to see him in person how he was, to see his blue eyes and jet black hair, I missed him so much but since seeing him again I miss him so much more now, I forgot how much it hurt when I first found out the news father died but now seeing him again has just brought that pain back. If I had only heard Hana out when she showed me her wolf demon form that night then none of this would have happened, dad and Hana would have never left and dad wouldn't be dead, this is all my fault, I'm so sorry; Hana, Sota, mom, grandpa, and dad, I messed everything up, I'll try and be better for you all, I promise I'll put an end to Naraku.
Hikaru's view starts at the same time as Kagome's and Hana's but continues on after their thoughts.
Hikaru's view:
I couldn't get over seeing Masashi again, even if it was just his spirit though I couldn't understand why or how he came to be here and now of all times just after the reunion of his two daughters He looked the same as when I last saw him other then the colour of his skin, hair and eyes, everyone was in awe and were talking over Masahi's sudden arrival, his daughters; Hana and Kagome, were crying as they clung to each other. "Father?" Tsukiko questioned in a concerned tone, I looked to her seeing her concerned face and worried look in her eyes, if Naraku had to die then I would have to as well but Naraku would never let me close, not since the last time, I am the only one that can stop this, I have to finish of Naraku myself, first I have to figure a way to draw him out, and that will not be easy. I smiled slightly "Everything will be fine" I said then went over to one of the tables and hoped up on it, "Everyone! My fellow comrades! My friends and family! Listen to me!" I called out a loud gathering everyone's attention, the Higurashi's were still crying but they turned slightly to look in my direction as they tried to recompose themselves. "This Cult was the idea of myself and Masashi and I could not have started this without him, he has always lead us right even if it meant ignoring my orders" I said aloud I looked to the Higurashi's then back to the members of my cult "Rest day is over as of immediately, we must find Naraku's allies, all of them, this is our top priority" I said aloud.
Hikaru had organised them members of his cult, putting small groups together and sending them out to different regions and surrounding islands while he told the Higurashi girls, Kagome's friends, Kaito and Tsukiko to head to Hana's hut and wait their for him.
No One's POV. Higurashi Home in the future era of Japan. (This starts at the exact point Masashi showed up in the Cult.)
The day had at the Higurashi Shrine had been the same as always, Ami Higurashi had been shopping and done all the house hold chores and was just finishing cleaning up after dinner, while Shoji Higurashi was busy tending to his usual jobs of tending to the Shrine grounds keeping the Shrine house clean and routine prayers, he now sat in the living room while reading the daily newspaper. Sota Higurashi was upstairs having a hot bubble bath after his tiring, long day at school, everyone seemed quite content however their quite evening was about to get stirred up, as the three Higurashi's were all occupied a force was making its way through the bone-eaters-well in the shrine house, it was an air, and a certain one that Shoji Higurashi knew of by heart, the air of his son, Masashi Higurashi. The air, seemed alive in a way, like it knew where it was going, it made it's way from shrine house to the Higurashi house and circled around each of the family members, first Sota, which lead him to leave his bath and get dressed to rush down stairs because of the strange feeling it gave him, the next to be circled was Ami, the feeling of the air around her brought tears to her eyes. Ami was unsure of why it made her cry or what made her cry but knew that something felt familiar, it brought memories of her time with Masashi back to her, the last was Shoji, he felt it, the presence of his son, Shoji stood up in rush "It's time father" a slight whisper of Masashi's voice rung out around Shoji, then the air made it's way back to the shrine house and back through the well.
Shoji had come out of the living room into the hallway at the exactly moment Ami had come out from the Kitchen and Sota had run down the stairs "Mom, Grandpa, I got this really weird feeling" Sota said "As did I" Ami said Shoji looked to Ami "It's time" Shoji said "What about Kagome? She needs to know as well" Ami said "Once she returns they will both be told and then we will arrange things for this home and Shrine land to be protected" Shoji said. "Mom, Grandpa, what's going on?" Sota asked Ami looked to Sota seeing his confused face and smiled slightly "I wish I could tell you but your father and I agreed that when the time came to tell you this, that you and Kagome would be together to hear this" Ami said "It's nothing bad is it?" Sota asked in worry "No, not at all" Ami said with a reassuring smile. "Ok, but Kagome sometimes stays for ages in the feudal era and there's no way to send word" Sota said "We have time, though I am not sure exactly how much time" Shoji said "Huh?" Sota puffed as he was now more confused "What's wrong?" Ami asked Shoji looked at Sota "Go do your homework then go to bed Sota we will talk about this later" Shoji said "Do as grandpa says" Ami said. "Ok, goodnight, mom and Grandpa, I love you both" Sota says "We love you too dear, sweet dreams" Ami said "Goodnight Sota" Shoji said as Sota makes his way upstairs to his room, as soon as they hear the door close Ami looks to Shoji with hope in her eyes "Was that feeling, that air, was it him?" Ami questioned, Shoji gave a slight nod as he looked towards their front door "That was indeed Masashi's air that circled each of us" Shoji says.
