Two weeks after the incident with White Lightning, the day had finally come. The day that Nina was allowed to leave Concord and reenter the real world. She was so excited. Finally, she could contribute to society again.

In the entrance area of Concord, Nina sat in a chair near the item exchange window, her boobs filling her lap as she sat. It had been about 20 minutes since she had been set for release. Just then, as she was fiddling with the straps of her anti-grav brace, a guard came up to the window.

"Nina Teresa Dowd?" The guard asked. Nina stood up and walked over to the window. The guard slid Nina's costume through the slot in a plastic bag.

"One costume. And... that's it." The guard said. "The warden and Dr. Prescott are waiting for you outside."

Nina nodded and turned to the door. Sighing, she opened it and stepped out.

Outside, Nina could see Dr. Prescott and Warden Clark standing near the gate. There was a third woman there with them. She was a medium-height African-American woman with short, dark-brown hair in a police uniform.

Nina walked up to the three. When she did, Loraine immediately pulled her into a hug.

"I'm proud of you Nina." Loraine said. "You're one of the few inmates here to get out on good behavior."

"Thanks." Nina said. She then turned to the third woman. "Who's this?"

"Nina, this is Jennifer Bennet." Warden Clark said. "She will be your parole officer."

Jennifer walked up to Nina. "Nice to meet you, Nina." She said, offering her hand, which Nina shook. "I've quite a bit about you, including how you helped stop White Lightning."

Nina smiled. "That wasn't much. All I did was stop her henchmen. Lightning herself escaped, from what I've been told." She said.

It was Jenny's turn to smile. "Still, that was quite brave of you." She said.

Warden Clark coughed to get everyone's attention. "Ms. Dowd, Ms. Bennet here will keep an eye on you for eleven months. After that, she will leave." She explained.

Nina nodded. She then turned to Jenny. "I think I'm ready to go now." She said.

Jenny motioned to a nearby car. "I'm driving." She said, and started for the car. Nina began to follow her, but stopped and turned to Loraine.

"Loraine, you think you can visit from time to time?" Nina asked.

"Depends on work, but I can try." Loraine replied.

That made Nina smile, and she walked over to Jenny's car. She started to get in, only to be stopped by her chest. She continued to struggle as Jenny started to chuckle. Both the warden and Loraine snickered at this, though not cruelly.

Unknown to any of them, on the roof of Concord, a figure was watching.

About an hour later, Jenny's car left the Concord city limits. Nina was wedged in the passenger, the car clearly not designed with her figure in mind.

"You must be uncomfortable." Jenny said.

Nina shrugged "I'm used to uncomfortable. You should have seen my cell back at Star Labs." She said. "Besides, we get in an accident, I've got my own set of airbags."

Jenny chuckled. "You're sure comfortable with those boobs, aren't ya?" She asked.

Now it was Nina's turn to chuckle. "Well, they took time to get used to. Obviously, I could barely move. The people at Star Labs whipped up my anti-grav brace to help with that. Then I just kind of realized that people would notice me, finally give me attention, with a rack like this." She said. Then she frowned. "Spent a lot of time alone."

Jenny could see Nina was remembering something unhappy, so she changed the subject. "You want to know why we left Concord?"

Nina looked at Jenny. "Never crossed my mind, but why?" She asked.

"Well, before you were released, we got a call from Bruce Wayne himself. He had heard about you saving the prison on the news. He asked the warden about you, and she said you were attempting to redeem yourself." Jenny said. "He said someone that willing to change should have a chance, and set up an apartment and job interview for you in Gotham."

Nina looked at Jenny happily. She couldn't believe it. A job and a home? Someone believing in her? And all that from one of the richest men in the country? Nina could barely contain her joy. She opened her mouth to speak...

...and got cut off by the sound of tires popping and the car veering into a ditch. Both Jenny and Nina were unharmed. The two of them got out of the car, its engine now damaged.

"What the hell?" Jenny asked. She looked at the right-side tires, and saw two sharp, pink objects shaped like x's piercing the tires. Jenny drew her sidearm and looked around for whatever or whoever caused this.

Nina was just about to question this too when she was suddenly grabbed and thrown to the ground. Her anti-grav brace was pulled off, and a foot was placed on her throat. Looking up, Nina saw her attacker.

She was a very tall, athletic woman, dressed completely in a black bodysuit with a grey belt and a short black skirt. There were pink x's on her chest, the back of her grey gloves, and the top of her feet. She wore a head covering mask with a skull on it, another pink x in the forehead, one of its lines going over her right eye. Long, scraggily pink hair flowed out of a hole in the back of the mask. She also wore a torn black cape.

Jenny turned to see this and pointed her gun at the mystery woman. "Hold it!" Jenny said, walking around the car to get a better look. She froze when she saw Nina on the ground.

"One more step, and I snap her neck." The woman said, in a cold, gravelly voice.

Nina could barely breathe. "N.. no. I..." She sputtered.

"Nina Dowd has served her sentence. She is paroled." Jenny said, keeping her gun trained on the woman.

"That's so touching, but that's not why I'm here." The woman said. "Nina here has something I want." On that, she held up Nina's anti-grav brace. "Star Labs original. Localized anti-gravity field. And most importantly, Xenothium power cell. Quite the package."

The woman lifted her foot off Nina's throat, and placed a hand on her belt buckle.

"Who... are... you?" Nina asked, gasping for air.

The woman looked at her. "Name's Pink X." She said, before tapping a button on the buckle. She then vanished.

Relieved that she had escaped death, Nina passed out.

It wasn't until 2 hours later that Nina finally regained consciousness. When she did, she found herself sitting upright in an armchair in someone's apartment. It was a decent sized apartment, with a kitchen, living room and two doors to her right Nina assumed led to the bathroom and bedroom.

Rubbing her eyes, she attempted to sit up, only to be stopped by the sheer weight of her bust. Feeling her waist, she remembered that her anti-grav brace had been stolen by Pink X. So until she either got it back or got a new one, she was effectively pinned to the chair.

Nina tried to look around as much as she can. At the moment, all she could see was the living room and a little bit of the kitchen. The living room was medium sized, with the chair she was currently in, a sofa, and a TV on the other side with a DVD player and some game systems. What little she could see of the kitchen was through the doorframe, showing the fridge and part of a stove. The rest was hidden behind a wall she couldn't see around.

One of the doors opened, and Jenny stepped into the room. She had changed out of her guards uniform and was now wearing a green tee-shirt and jeans. She walked over to the table and picked up the bag holding Nina's costume, tossing it to her.

"Are you able to get dressed?" Jenny asked.

Looking down, Nina only then remembered she was still in her prison jumpsuit. "Of course. Before I got my anti-grav brace, I had to pretty much master the art of changing while immobile." She said. "Speaking of which, do you know what happened to it? Where Pink X is?"

Jenny shook her head. "I'm afraid not. I called Star Labs to ask if they had installed something that could track it, but they said no. They are making you a new one, but it'll take about a day." She said.

Nina frowned. A day of not being able to move didn't exactly sound very fun. She sighed and started to unzip her jumpsuit.

"Um, why don't you do that in the bedroom?" Jenny asked.

Nina blinked before zipping her jumpsuit back up. "Sorry, kind of forgot. Uh... you mind helping me to the bedroom? I kind of can't move." She said. Then she realized something. "Wait, how did I get here in the first place?"

Jenny chuckled and walked over to Nina. Grabbing Nina's hands, Jenny pulled her out of the chair and maneuvered herself under Nina's shoulder.

"I flagged down a bus and took us to your new apartment. We're in Gotham now. I carried you up the stairs myself. Tried the elevator but... you exceeded the weight limit." She said.

Nina sighed. "Yeah, I kind of would have guessed." She said.

Jenny walked Nina to the bedroom, and opened the door. The bedroom was only had a large bed, a dresser, and a closet. Jenny set Nina down on the bed, causing it to creak under Nina's weight.

"OK, get dressed. I'll be right outside if you need help." Jenny said. Nina nodded, and Jenny left the bedroom.

As soon as she closed the door, Jenny's cell phone rang. Pulling it out of her pocket, she answered.

"Jennifer Bennet?" The voice on the other end asked.

"Speaking." Jenny replied.

"This is Doctor Karen Faulkner at Star Labs. I'm calling about the replacement anti-gravity brace for Nina Dowd." Doctor Faulkner said. "We'll still be able to create the harness, but we need to use a different energy source. Our usual supplier of Xenothium was attacked."

"Is this going to make the wait longer?" Jenny asked.

"Funny you should ask that. We've switched to using a solar powered brace, and it took far less time to finish. The brace should arrived in a few hours." Karen explained.

"Thank you for telling me." Jenny replied. There was a small bit of silence.

"You know, I did meet Nina once. She was taken to Arizona where I was working so we could analyze her for a way to reverse her transformation. Most of the time, she kept saying she'd rule us all and that her powers made her a goddess. To be honest, I'm surprised she reformed." Karen said. "Maybe sometime, I can visit her."

Jenny chuckled. "Depends." She said. "Well, thanks for the information, Doctor Faulkner."

"Please, call me Kitty." Karen said. "Goodbye." On that, Jenny hung up.

"Alright, done!" Jenny heard Nina yell from the bedroom.

Jenny entered the bedroom. Just as expected, Nina was fully dressed in her costume, the prison jumpsuit tossed to the side. Jenny had to admit, Nina looked damn good in that costume.

"You got dressed faster then I thought." Jenny said.

Nina smiled. "Like I said, I'm pretty much a master at dressing while immobile." She said. She then patted her bust. "I refuse to let these two make me helpless."

Jenny chuckled. "Alright, so you want dinner?" She asked.

Some miles away, at a workbench in an abandoned dockyard, a figure was fiddling with the stolen anti-grav brace.

Pink X had returned to her hideout as soon as she was able too, and immediately set to work removing the Xenothium from it. If there was enough in the brace, she could use it with the power core she stole from STAR Labs' supplier to upgrade her teleporter.

"Come on, damn it! Open!" Pink X muttered as she fiddled with the brace's cover. Finally, it popped open. "Yes!"

Pink X's joy, though, soon turned to anger when she pulled out the Xenothium power cell. It was nearly depleated. Not even enough to increase her belts range by a foot. Furious, she chucked the brace at a wall, destroying it.

"Damn it! I need another cell!" Pink X yelled. Then she calmed down. "Wait, with her brace stolen, that over-inflated freak would need a new one. And that kind of tech needs Xenothium to work. Any other power source would blow it up. So, guess I'm paying her another visit."

Getting up from her bench, Pink X stretched and grabbed her belt, checking it's power. "Should be enough for now." She said, putting her belt on. "Alright, considering the road they were on, and the direction they were heading, she's most likely to be in Gotham. Let's hope that flying rodent's taken the day off."

"So, how did you find out about your headlights being hypnotic?" Jenny asked, curry still in her spoon.

Both Jenny and Nina decided on a simple dinner, so they ordered take-out from a nearby Chinese buffet. With Nina's bust being so heavy, the two decided to eat in the bedroom, a folding table brought in. Nina was still sitting on the bed at an angle, while Jenny had brought in a chair.

"While I was sent to Star Labs after I transformed, the scientists wanted to see if my outfit had any sort of changed properties too, so they had me strip. The literal second I undid the top part, BOOM! Blinding light from my boobs." Nina said through a mouthful of Sweet and Sour Chicken. "I was just as stunned, but soon as my sight came back, I saw the men were in a trance. I put two and two together, and soon I had two hypnotized guards escorting me out. I was free for all of a half-hour before the guards were knocked out."

"Huh." Jenny replied, taking a bite out of her curry beef. "And it only works on men?"

Nina shook her head. "Nope. Actually works on anyone who'd be attracted to me. When I tried taking over a jewelry, one of the girls behind the counter was hypnotized. After I was arrested, I saw the girl's wife comfort her. Wish I could apologize to her and everyone else I hypnotized." She said, a bit upset.

Jenny frowned. She decided to change the subject before Nina got too upset.

"So, that call I got earlier? That was Dr. Faulkner at Star Labs. Their going to make a solar energy harness for you. It's going to be a bit limited at night." Jenny said. "It should be arriving in a few hours."

"I see. Don't see how that's a problem, since I'd likely be sleeping." Nina said. She set her fork down, and picked up the fortune cookie that came with food. She broke it open and read the fortune:

"The only real failure is to stop trying."

Nina chuckled a little at that fortune. "Well, that's true." She said, before looking at Jenny, who just opened her cookie. "What does yours say?" Jenny looked at the fortune:

"The way to success is never a one-way street." Jenny read. She shrugged. "Guess I could see that."

Nina glanced at the clock on the other side of the room. 7:15. "Geez, where'd the time go? You want to watch a movie?" She said.

Jenny smiled. "Sure. It'd be a nice way to kill time before your new brace arrives." She said. "What movie?"

"Help me into the living room and check what we have." Nina said. "This apartment is from Bruce Wayne and he left us a DVD player, so he must have also left some movies."

Nina's guess was right. A little later, the two were watching a horror movie in the living room. Nina had picked out one about a living killer car. The movie was only a third of the way done when the apartment doorbell rang. Pausing the movie, Jenny got up and went to the door. Nina craned her neck to look at the front door. Jenny had opened it was speaking to someone on the other side. She was handed something, before thanking the other person and shutting the door. Jenny returned to the living room, holding a package.

"They were right when they said it wouldn't be long." Jenny said, handing the package to Nina. Smiling, Nina took the package and, using a claw on her finger, cut the tape keeping it closed.

"Wait, you have claws?" Jenny asked, a little surprised.

"I've got a partial cat-like form now. Claws kind of come with the whole thing." Nina replied, before finally opening the box. She reached in and pulled out her new anti-grav brace. It looked almost identical to her old one, with the exception of solar panels on the sides. "Looks nice. Hopefully it works nice too."

Jenny was about to say something when her cell phone started ringing. Pulling it out of her pocket, she answered.

"Hello?" Jenny asked. "Miss, please calm down. Who gave you this number? Yes, I'm an officer. A parole officer, but- Where? Alright, I'll contact a nearby officer and- Miss, I'm a parole officer, my duty is- ...Alright, I'll be down soon." She then hung up.

"What's happening?" Nina asked.

"Possible mugging and robbery. She insisted I be the one to help." Jenny said. "Hopefully this won't take long. Don't try the brace on until I get back, OK? I'd like to see it too." On that, she left the apartment.

Nina sighed and took another look at the brace. She then set the brace back in the package and grabbed the DVD player remote. She unpaused the movie and started watching it again. She didn't notice the bedroom door open slightly or the small canister roll into the room. She didn't get far in before she started feeling drowsy. Almost immediately, she fell asleep.

Just then, the door to the bedroom creaked open. Stepping out was Pink X, who had teleported into the bedroom a few minutes ago and had been waiting for the right moment. She walked into the living room and looked at the slumbering Nina. She then walked near the couch and picked up the canister. It had been a can of sleeping gas. She put the now empty can in one of her belt pouches.

"Should be out for a while." Pink X said to herself. "And my little fake call should keep her parole officer busy. Now to collect my prize."

Pink X walked over to the package and removed the brace from it. Under her mask, she was grinning. That grin vanished, though, when she saw the solar panels on the said.

"Damn it!" She said. Then she sighed. "Why didn't I see this coming? Of course they'd switch power supply. How could I be so stupid?"

She put the brace back in the package and looked over at the sleeping Nina. She had come all this way, only to be robbed of a victory. That said, she did have to admit: Nina was an intriguing figure. And in all honesty, she was rather attractive. Pink X decided that she was done here, and reached for her belt.

"Well, lucky you. I'm going to leave you alone this time, but we'll likely me again." Pink X said to the still sleeping Nina. "See you later, cutie." On that, she hit a button on her belt buckle and vanished.

A few seconds later, the apartment door opened and Jenny walked in.

"False alarm. Guess some prankster thought it'd be funny to-" Jenny started to say, only to stop when she saw the sleeping Nina. "Must have been more tired then I thought." She decided she would wake her, and went over to the couch. Laying on it, she went to sleep herself.

The next morning, Jenny woke up to almost-complete darkness. It took her a second to realize that Nina was leaning over her, and her bust was blocking Jenny's view.

"Um, Nina, could you back up a bit?" Jenny asked. Nina complied and stepped back a bit. Jenny got up from the couch. When she did, she saw that Nina was now wearing her new anti-grav brace.

"Wanted to kind of surprise you." Nina said. "What do you think? Look good on me?"

Jenny nodded. "You certainly make it work." She said.

Nina smiled. Then she thought of something. "Hey, what happened with that call last night?" She asked.

Jenny sighed. "Took me a bit to get to the location, but it turns out no one was there. Asked around, and three people said no mugging had happened. My guess is someone got my number and thought it'd be funny to send a fake call." She explained.

"Oh." Nina replied. "Well, think of it this way, if there wasn't a mugging, then no one was hurt."

"I guess." Jenny said. "I'll call Gotham PD later and see if they can find out who called. But right now, it's morning, and I'm hungry. You want breakfast?"

Nina nodded, and followed Jenny into the kitchen. She just knew they were going to get along great.
