Chapter Two Part 1
We get to the somewhere in the forest and then stop. The two boys stare at me for a second before Jasper walks behind me and puts his hands on my shoulders lightly. "Listen, what do you hear?" I listen to the lively, chatty forest. "I hear elk and some bears?". Emmett nods. "Now, what do you smell?". I sniff gently and catch a sweet, honey smell that is all too familiar and it overpowers the smell of the bears and elks. I take off in the direction of the smell that can only be human. I hear the two boys behind me and feel one grab my waist and drag me to the ground. "Emmett, you got her?" Emmett's grip loosens a little and I struggle to get out of his arms. "Yea, I have her Jazz." I whimper and go limp in Emmett's arms.
Jasper churches down in front of me and sends me a wave of calmness. I look at him in confusion and feel miserable about what I was about to do. I relaxed into Emmett's arms and sighed tiredly. Emmett goes up slowly and helped me up. "Jasper, go take a look and see if we are clear to let her hunt." Jasper gets up and makes a quick ran in the forest. As he gets to the mountains he runs into Seth. "Hey, Seth what's up?" Seth goes and phases into his human form. "Just heard the commotion, anything I can do to help?" "Sure Seth, follow me if you can" Jasper winks at Seth. Seth changes back into his wolf form and follows close behind Jasper.
