They had been in this situation too many times for anyone's liking in the room. They were at an impasse. It had been 24 hours since the incident and no one agreed. Bruce was leaning against his bookshelf in the corner while Alfred stood on the opposite end by the door.

"That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard, and I can't believe that you agree with it!" Richard shouted across the desk and Jason and Kori.

"It's not bait!" Jason shot back. "Slade wants you, we use her to get him close and then we take him down. All of us together!"

"That's exactly what bait is!" Richard shrieked throwing his hands up in the air.

"But if I agree to it, then it's my fault if it doesn't work." Kori said, which made Richard's eyes narrow on her.

"I lost you last year because of my stupidity over Slade, I am not going to lose you again and this time potentially for real because of someone else's." He glared at Jason.

"We need to do something though." Bruce said quietly. "If we can guarantee Kori's safety and that she will be harmed in no way, this might be our only option." Richard threw up his hands again.

"What the hell do I have to do to make it clear, her life will not be in danger. I will not put her in any situation where he has access to her."

"He already has access to me Richard. He knows who I am, which means that he knows where I work, he probably knows about Rachel, Victor, Gar, and if he's smart then he has put the clues together which means he knows who Bat Man, Robin, and Nightwing are. I am not going to leave any of you in a situation where he has access to you." Kori said sternly.

"This is too complicated. We have never been in this situation, even with the Joker." Bruce knew that would keep Richard quiet. "I do agree that Kori needs constant supervision," Kori shot Bruce a look ," I don't know what that looks like though. I do have an idea, but I don't think anyone will like it." Everyone was quiet as Bruce looked at Kori, she searched his eyes and then nodded her head.

"What the hell was that?" Richard spat out.

"Kori is going to move to Jump City. She's going to relocate, taking Slade away from here and your friends. We are all going to figure out who this guy really is, and we are going to start monitoring your interactions with him from the Bat Cave so we can have the footage to review." He held up his hand to stop whatever was going to come out of Richard's mouth, "Yes. I think that this is the safest option. I know that her going will potentially confirm who you are but that is a risk I am willing to take, because it might bring more light to him. Kori agreed to move with you a year ago, and she is willing to sacrifice again."

"Bruce, here it's two to one, there it's one on one." Jason said, "she's safer here with us."

"And that doesn't mean that he isn't going to attack who she loves here, he doesn't care. He would love to bring that agony to her far away."

"There is not right answer here. There is no easy answer here. Assuming our relationship is intact Alfred can help monitor all three of us, and all three of us can work on our ends to finish this. You need to go back to Jump as Nightwing and Richard and we all know that you would feel better having her close."

Once again everyone was quiet.

"Can we have the room alone?" Richard said as he and Kori locked eyes. The rest of the gentlemen quietly left. "What about Roy?" Kori's face fell.

"I think we all know it's better for him if he's not with someone who is in love with another person."

"What about your job?"

"You said you could help get me one and in case this ever happened I can transfer to the Jump City branch."

"What about us?" She didn't know how to answer. "I never should have asked you to that gala that first night, your life would have been better." He hung his head.

"That's not true." She retorted.

"Look where it's got you, you almost got hurt in college, it got you tied to a bed with a gun to your head, and now this." He snorted.

"And you're worth it." She walked to him and put her hand on his arm. "We can do this. Look I know this isn't easy, but he must stop this. This has to end, and relocating me is what helps it end, then I'll do it." Richard's body crumbled under her touch. "I can help, you can teach me your system and I can help patrol like I used to. You'll have another pair of eyes to help."

"I'm not going to change your mind am I?" He said defeated. She gave a small smile.

"Nope." As she finished the word he kissed the top of her head.

Jason bounded in the door.

" So, when are you guys leaving and what do the sleeping arrangements look like?" Jason asked with a loud voice. Kori blushed.

"Obviously she will be staying in the guest room." Richard mumbled under his breath.

" I have influence at the paper, I sent an email while we were out there and I know it will approved by morning, so you can leave whenever."

"I have to say goodbye to a few people first." Kori said, " and then I can be ready."

It was not more than twelve hours ago that Kori's fate had been decided in this manor and now she was standing with her suitcases, waiting to leave this town that had been home for so long. Her family weren't too concerned with her leaving, her oldest sister had found herself in a difficult situation, so their focus was else where. Rachel was sad to see her go, and confused about why she was leaving temporarily with Richard. Kori had to convince her friend multiple times that this was not an elopement. The men were standing at the desk, looking over her grand plan. She felt nervous but she also felt excited. She wasn't afraid, of Slade. She found herself admiring Richard's furrowed brow. Her heart skipped a beat as she watched him run his hand through his hair. Her conversation with Roy was short and to the point. She mentioned transferring to Jump but Richard never came up, even though they both knew.

As the conversation drew to a close Kori straightened up and followed as the group headed to the back of the house where they crossed the lawn into the hangar. She had been here before but never flown in one. Richard would be flying since he was trained and no one could be trusted to not eavesdrop.

" You will be very safe with Master Dick, but know that you will be missed." Alfred said as he hugged her. Bruce was next and said gruff words of encouragement. Jason's good bye involved swear words of Slade's fate while Richard rolled his eyes.

They boarded the small private jet, and Kori sat in the small cabin in a nice leaver chair while Richard immediately started pre-flight checklists. She was surprised that he didn't talk to her. She had never flown before so her nerves started to kick in. She knew that they flight would be short and she was so overwhelmed by the past few days that she decided to sleep. Hopefully when they reached their destination they could have a conversation.
