Oliver sat quietly with his head rested on his mother's shoulders, when Alexis finally broke the deafening silence. "When did you guys get married" she asked causing Oliver to look her direction.
We got married Tuesday because she wanted by the time the twins were born we all have the same last name and they wouldn't be born outside of wedlock he said. Just as Jax scoffs" do you expect us to believe this charade was her idea" he says.
That is when Oliver lifted his head up off his mother's shoulders" I don't give a fuck what you believe or what you have to say" he says. I haven't seen my family in months because you people for some reason you need to make me the villain.
And for what because I love her daughter so matter of a fact " you can shut fuck because your a nobody your not Sam's father your not even her mom's husband so nobody cares about your bullshit opinion" Oliver finished.
You don't like it there is is the door nobody wants you here in the first place he said. " That is enough now I want him here and yes I was never fair to you and I apologize" Alexis says. Alexi... was all Jax got out before she put her hands on his lips.
All I saw was someone taking my baby away after I lost so much time being her mother she says. I wanted her love and I wanted her affection and yes I wanted to control everything. Because at one point in time I wasn't in control of everything and it was a horrible time in my life.
So having control is a big thing for me because when in bad her I had none and I wanted her so bad. And when they took her I felt so empty inside then I got her back and she made me whole again.
Then she was gone again and I lost it yeah I picked myself up again but a piece of my heart was still missing Alexis said. When Oliver spoke " that's how I feel when she is not around" I have dated other girls just like she dated other guys he said.
But with they never got us like we get each other and when somebody knows all your faults and shifty things you've done and still loves you anyway that is the person I want Oliver says.
Just as the doctor came out causing him to jump up " how is Sam" he asked. She is fine we are moving her to recovery now she should be awake in a few hours the Doctor says. Can I see her and can the boys be in the same room with her it was apart of our birthing plan he says.
Yes sure Mr. Tavares she says as she went to shake his hand he hugged her and kissed her on the cheek " thank you" Oliver says.
"Do you guys want to see the babies" he asked
Kristina was the first to speak " yes most definitely"she says
As he lead them to where the twins where when Manolo stepped up to Jax " listen i will not have you approaching my son like he did something wrong. Or have you paint my family as the villians to score points with Sam's mother if you don't like my son fine so be it because he doesn't like you either. But instead of being rude he keeps his mouth shut i suggest you do the same he said walking away.
Florio let Oliver take everyone upstairs to see the twins while he stayed with Sam he sat down " hey Sammy its Tio you did good kiddo your boys are adorable they look like identical twins. I tell you when you started to hemorrage i thought he was going to snap that boy loves you so much.
Sammy you have to wake up and face your family as well no more running mi amor he said, your aunt flew out here with Jasper and a doctor. She is due some time next month and i am kind of nervous its been a while since i changed pamper and burped babies he said with a smile.
Yeah, Yeah i know you would probably say bullshit because i never get nervous but K.K is 19 years old you know he said. Kristina peek in it warmed her heart to see how gentle with Sam he was. That made her a little more excited for their daughter so she backed away and sat outside Sam's room.
When Karina sat down next to her " is my dad in there getting all emotional" she said
" i don't know i saw him in there so i sat out here and waited" Tina answerd
' Oh okay' Karina said nodding as they both sat quietly " i'm sorry i don't know how to make small talk.
" I noticed " Tina replies
" You don't want me to call you mom do you because that would just be kind of weird" Kari says.
' Oh heavens no Tina is just fine' she says
' Mama T' Karina said laughing, no but seriously my father is a good man he isnt perfect but he deserves to be happy and he is that is all i want for him. For all the years he has put aside his wants and his happiness for us and he never complained she said.
'Do you speak to your mother' Tina asked
" Nope there is nothing to say " Kari says
As there was another awkward silence " how are the kids" Tina says, They are great growing they are with Calvin Karina answered.
"Your father has been nonstop about them" she says
" I bet he is a doting grandpa but don't worry when your little one get here you will see Mr. Mom come out" Karina says with a smile.
" You think so" Kristina said
'Oh i know so he won't know how to share it was always just him and us and he did everything Kari says with a shrug. I can tell he did a really good with you guys i just wish we had done better with this whole situation with Sam and Oliver Tina says.
Yeah well its nothing we can do now but be better from now on because we are linked together now whether we want to or not Karina says looking towards Jax's. As much as i adore Jax and his heart is in the right place but he has to let whatever contempt he has.
Because it won't help my sister at all she says, and my aunt was really nice because she is a force to be reckoned with Karina responds.
The nursery
Oliver walked in with Alexis and Stefan behind him Meet Jackson Manuel and Justin Davis he said. Alexis cover her mouth " oh my god Stefan look at them " she said with tears in her eyes in that moment. She knew she wasn't letting them go not her babies as Stefan stood in awe of it all.
That is when he got a good look at this young man and he saw the admiration he had for his niece and the love he had in his eyes for these two little boys.
"Congratulation" Stefan said stretching his hand out
Oliver looked up and smiled " Thank you Mr. Cassadine" the young man said shaking his hand. " Look at all that hair on their heads Sam had a little bit on the top but they got a head full of hair" Alexis said
" I had i head full of hair when i was a baby " Oliver spoke with a smile looking down at his boys. " Oye muchachos es papi " he said talking to them it perked them right up which made him smile. Alexis was in awe just how much they moved when they heard his voice he picked up one of the twins.
" Oye mira this your nana" Oliver said as he put Justin in Alexis arms she looked down at him and smiled. " Hi there Justin Davis i'm your nana Alexis" she said rocking him back and forth as she sat down that is when he put Jackson in her arms as well. Hi there Jackson she said staring between the two boys as Stefan looked on.
Jax watched from outside the window he knew what he had to do but he would make her understand this was the only way to ensure Sam could maximize her potential. When he got a call from Ned he listened for a while when he looked up at Kristina then to Alexis. They were in for a rude awakening as he looked over at Manolo then Florio who was on the phone with someone.
It had been several hours later " Olly' she whispered when she noticed he was knocked on chair. That's when she noticed the twins were in the room as well smiling those were her boys. " Olly' she said a little louder waking him up as he got up " hey shorty how you feeling you gave us quite a scare" he said.
"What happen" she asked
'What do you remember' Oliver asked
" I remember holding Jackson and the nurse took him and then everything went black" she says.
" You started to hemorrage while they were closing you up" he replies
' Are they okay' Sam says
' They are perfect Sammy they just went to sleep about a hour ago' he says
"So did the whole family get here" she asked
" Yeah they did even yours showed up" Oliver said
Causing her to sigh " what happen" she said slightly annoyed, No its not like that shorty umm Nikolas was worried so i guess he made a beeline for you. But the jig was up because that Costos guy found us first so it wasn't Nicky's fault.
So K.K called him after hours of given him the run around he let them know where we were Oliver finishes.
" And" Sam said wanting more details
Well your family were happy that dickheadd Jasper Jacks was the only one with a stick up his ass. He tried to come for me but Mami put him in his place Oliver said with a grin, " your mom is my hero Sam said laughing. So where is Alexis somewhere getting a judge or something she said.
No we talked this morning i don't think we will have a problem with her she fell in love with the boys though he answered sitting down and kissing her hand. Can you get her for me i guess this is as good as anytime huh Sam said, i guess its whatever you want to do shorty he says.
" Okay get her" Sam said pushing the bed up alright as Oliver went out into the hallway " Ms. Davis Sam want's to speak to you he said nudging her shoulder.
" She's awake " Alexis asked
" Yeah and she want's to speak to you" Oliver said as she got up rushing in when she saw Sam she gasped and ran forward Hugging her. "I'm so sorry baby" she said holding her daughter in her arms it had been forever.
" I'm sorry too i was just scared i didn't want to lose him i can't lose him" Sam said wiping the tears from her eyes. I know baby it was my fault i didn't ask any of the right question and i admitt that i wanted what i wanted. I lose so much time with you and i wanted you to be who i wanted you to be instead of seeing the beautiful spirited young woman in front of me Alexis said cupping her face.
You my sweet girl have nothing to be sorry for when i look at you guys i saw my haunted past and i didn't want that for you and i said and did things and said things and that i am sorry for she says. I spoke to him already but i want you to know i want us to start all this over again between the three of us Alexis said.
As Sam reached for Oliver hand and he took it and sat next to her as she shook her head yes vehmently. " Good no more running because i missed you so much" she said hugging both kids as Nikolas and Stefan watched from outside.
Stefan now understood what Florio meant these kids would go to bat for each other and would walk through fire for each other. And that made him happy that someone loved his niece the same way he did he had a whole different outlook on the Tavares family in a whole
This was going to be a whole new chapter for this family with Kristina's upcoming nuptials and her baby. He would tell them when it was time but right now he was happy that his family was okay and whole again.
Oliver stepped out " have you seen my mom and dad" he asked
" I think K.K took them back to the house " Nikolas replies
He nodded and sat down give Sam and Alexis time to talk that is when Nikolas saw two police officer approaching just as his parents where stepping off the elevator.
"Manolo Tavares jr" of the officer said
" Who want's to know" Oliver said
Stand up the officer said grabbing him Manolo Tavares jr you are under arrest for staturory rape and endangering the welfare of a minor the officer cuffing him. " i haven't done anything" Oliver said his father and Stefan both saw his body language he was ready for a fight.
Stefan spoke " Officer i assure you that he did nothing wrong" he said
" Mijo, cálmate va a estar bien" Manolo said knowing his sons temper and his face was turning red. As they tried to reason with the officer Oliver shook his head as they walked him out.
