Description: Ashura is worried about how Fai is adjusting to life in Celese.

Ashura sat at his desk mulling over the mounds of paper work that he, as the king, was expected to completely. Fai, as usual, wasn't far at all. Sitting in the 'fort' he had constructed out of chairs and blankets, hard at work practicing his spell runes.
Though many in the court were flabbergasted to hear that Ashura wasn't even allowed to fill out paperwork in peace—the king didn't mind one bit. The poor little blonde could simply not be left alone without becoming panicked. So Ashura was more than happy to allow him to tag along everywhere the king went.
Leaning back in his chair Ashura rubbed his temples trying to keep the ever present headaches at bay. The poor little thing had yet to make a single friend in Luvel castle. The courtiers and servants were overwhelmed by his heavy magical presence and seemed skittish around the little blonde. The king hoped that time would remedy this however, and that Fai would forge new friendships with the people of Celese.
Peering over the edge of the ornately decorated wood desk, he watched as Fai scribble away at a piece of paper. The child was sitting on his stomach, propped up on his elbows. It seems the poor boy had gotten distracted from his studies and was currently doodling away on the back of his work sheet.
At least he was holding the crayon correctly.
Squinting his eyes Ashura could make out cute little pudgy bodies drawn in bright colors. Only days ago Fai seemed to prefer using the back and gray crayons while coloring, so the king saw no point in refocusing the child on his work. He smiled warmly and continued to watch the little blonde draw away.
One figure turned into two—No doubt this was Fai and Ashura, if the color of the scribbled hair was anything to go by. They were slightly of centered form the middle of the page and they were holding hands. Two figures turned into three—another little blonde scribble.
That must be Fai's twin. The real Fai. The little scribble was also holding the black scribbles hand and Fai started on drawing a background. A green field with flowers and butterflies.
How precious.
Perhaps after destiny played out and many, many years had passed, the three of them could all be together in the afterlife. One thing was for sure, even after such a short time in Celese—Fai was starting to act like a normal child.
Perhaps Fai could grow into a healthy, well rounded adult it this continued. Perhaps he would learn how to make friends, rather than creating them. Perhaps he would learn to tease and joke, to trust and love. This picture was proof enough that he at least still had hope in his heart.
The king had to tear his eyes away from his adopted son and refocus on his work. He couldn't help but smile the rest of the afternoon thinking about how far Fai has come.
The next day when Ashura went to retrieve a pen from his desk he found a piece of paper placed neatly on top of everything in the drawer. Examining it closer he found that it was the picture from yesterday, but with a large sun in the middle of the page above Ashura's head. The background that had been added was also complete and very very green, unlike the climate of Celese.
Pride welled in his chest as he stood and tacked it to the wall of his office so that anyone who came to meet with him would see it.
