I just realized that the way I set up the kingdom is both unusual and confusing so let me explain a bit. The castle is surrounded by three separate villages going around it. There are roads that connect them through a large portion of woods. The Striders live in the forest closest to the village in which Roxy and Rose live in. The second closest village of our days away and the other is six days away. In other words each village is only two days away from each other. The neighboring kingdom lies about three days away from the second closest one to the Striders. I hope that didn't just make this all the more complicated or confusing. I don't really see the need to name the villages as they are all part of the same kingdom.

= John: Summarize the past few days
We ended up not using the cart and instead rode on Lil' Hal while carrying bags. At least Dave and I rode on the horse. Dirk, on the other hand, is riding this two wheeled machine. We took a separate road than the one Dave and I passed through to get to his cabin. While it was suppose to take four days to get to the other village it took only two and half because Dirk told Lil' Hal that if he took less breaks he would buy him only the freshest of roughage for a week. It was quite uneventful when we would stop to rest and sleep. Mostly because I would be to nervous to do anything with Dave with Dirk so close by. Though that didn't stop Dave from holding me close to him at night. We got to the second village in the middle of the day. Dirk sent us to go find a cheap place to sleep and have Lil' Hal rest while he went to buy something for us to eat.
Of course Dave and I walked around a bit in hopes that someone would recognize him, but no one really did. John was a common name as well so without a last name it was difficult to pinpoint who he might even be.

= John: Be Dirk Strider
I walked around a bit. It had been over half a year since the last time I came to this village instead of the one in which the Mystery Kat Inn is in. Which is most likely cause Roxy doesn't charge me or Dave to stay the night while we're there. I head towards an open shop selling fruits and vegetables, but I notice a small gathering of women surrounding a young man. I can't tell what his face looks like from where I am, but his hair is definitely a dark shade of brown which goes well with his tanned skin. He's dressed up in a green plaid shirt and dark brown shorts that barely reach his legs. One of the women reaches out to hook her arm around his. He frowns and tells her something that caused not only her but all the others to frown and walk away from him. I turn around and continue to the shop. I am there for about five minutes when I hear someone muttering nearby. When the person lets out a sigh of uneasiness I glance their way. Its the exact same guy only now that he was closer I could see his face. I can understand now why it was that the women were quite taken by him; he was really good-looking.
"Somethin' wrong?" My question catches him by surprise as it was clear that he was lost in his thoughts. He wore glasses over his deep forest green eyes. He was tall, though still shorter than me, and he was well-built.
"Oh. Uhh- its a personal problem! No need for a young strap like yourself to worry your knickers about!" What an odd way to speak, but his accent sounds nice in a weird way. Its not as high as a woman's nor is it too deep for a man's. Though I have to wonder, what did he say to drive all those women away so easily? If I'm lucky then it would be for a certain reason or maybe he already has someone. I notice him take quick glances at me in-between looking at some apples. Perhaps he is a bit interested in me.
"You seem nervous." Because he does.
"I'm just not used to...being so far away from home."
"You don't like it here?"
"No, that is not at all what I meant to say! I mean its a magnificent kingdom! And by golly is it exiting to not have to be chaperoned wherever I go..."
"Chaperoned?" He goes still and has the look of a 'deer caught in headlights'. He's so easy to read. It adds to his charm in a way. "So your not used to being alone either."
"Technically I am not alone! Becquerel is with me!"
"Becquerel?"
"My trusty steed." I stare at him. Is that what he said to the females that made them go away? Cause that would be funny and kind of ironic. Outdone by a horse. But I am a Strider and hell if that will put me off.
"So would you mind spending some time with me?"
"Actually I am in a bit of a hurry..." Oh right. The 'personal problems.' "I need to find my friend." His friend huh. The expression he is wearing is one of determination.
"Need any help?"
"Pardon?"
"My little bro and I are actually in the middle of helping someone else. We can help you as well." I see him think it over and for a moment I think he would prefer to go about it alone.
"I don't know..."
"Look I understand if you would prefer not to be bothered-"
"No...its just that its a very risky mission that I am on." He says in a low voice as if he's afraid that anyone else will hear.
"More of a reason to not let you go alone."
"...alright." Score."

= Dirk: Be the younger brother
We found an Inn in which to leave our things and decided to walk around a bit more. Its getting dark outside, but John keeps convincing me to continue walking around.
We walk in front of a shoemaker shop when I feel them. The eyes of several people on us. They're following us. I try to see them from the corner of my eyes, but I can't even tell how many there are. John wants to see the ducks swim in the pond nearby. Reluctantly I follow him readying my sword in case they chose to attack at any moment.
"Dave are you okay?" John asks me when he notices how quiet I have become. Great, now he's scared.
"Yeah. Just a little tired. How about we head back to the Inn?"
"Okay." He agrees readily, however I'm sure he still feels a little put off. I pull him close to me and try to stay calm as I guide us back to the Inn. First I have us walk where there are more people, but there are less and less people outside as it gets darker.
I can tell that we are close when all of a sudden someone jumps in front of us. They're wearing a long coat and a cat mask. They were really short and skinny by what I could see. Most likely they were female
"The fu-!" The person jumped at me started slashing at me with a dagger. I quickly took out my sword to counter her strikes. She was quick, but my strikes were obviously stronger.
"Dave!" I hear John scream. A second person, a much taller and bigger figure had snuck up from behind and grabbed John.
"Target acquired!" The girl says. I quickly disarm her and point my sword to her neck.
"Let him go."
"Nepeta!"
"Forget about me!" The man hesitates. I'm so focused on the two in front of me that I don't notice the third one behind me until its too late. I am thrown off the girl by this other dude. She gets up as the guy holds me down. I struggle and try to reach for my sword that fell a feet away from my fallen self, but then he stabs a blade into my outstretched hand.
"Augh!" The guy lets out a cry as he is hurled off of me.
"Thanks." I say as I get up, get my sword, and begin chasing after the other two.

= Dirk: Extra Scene
"That idiot!" I watch as Dave goes running off clutching his sword in his injured hand.
"Dirk go! I have this covered." I nod at my companion before taking off after Dave.

= Dave: Find John
I figure that if they're going to try to kidnap someone the best bet would be to run into the forest, so that's what I do. After running for a few minutes I begin to fear for a moment that I lost sight of John, but then I hear someone cry out in pain. I can tell its not John, but I head straight towards the voice anyways.
"Hey! Don't bite!" I hear the girl's voice say.
"Let me-urr!" I hear John's voice be muffled. I get closer and see them approaching a carriage that is parked on the side of the road. I pick up speed to get to them on time.
"Let him go!" I call out to them and the girl in turn hops into the carriage. Huh? Another person gets out of the carriage; its another big dude. The big guy that been holding John tosses him to the new guy and dashes towards me. I ready myself for the attack, but am then pushed aside.
"Dirk! The fuc-!"
"Shut up! Get back your gal." You don't have to tell me twice. I turn to the other guy as he has somehow gotten John all tied up. I flash-step to him and slash at him.
"Motherfu-" He lets john drop as he attempts to block my strike. I end up slashing his arm. The surprising part is when he fights back and act as if the gash was unnoticeable.
"Dave look out!" John warns me as I feel the sting of an arrow hit my shoulder. "Dave!" I wince at the pain and as I am momentarily distracted. The guy lays a blow on my stomach with his bare fist.
"Dave!" I hear my brother call out as I hit the floor. I try to get up but then feel myself be kicked down.
K-chk
"All right everybody stop moving!" I hear this weird accented voice say. "Or else!" I blink and wearily look up to see this other dude loom over the girl. He has a gun pointed straight at her head and the look on his face assures us that he is prepared to fire if he is not listened to.
He orders the guys to get back into the carriage and still had the gun pointed at her as she gets in as well. He fires near the tires as he tells them to leave. I sit up and hurriedly look for John. He's wriggling on the forest floor trying ot get up.
"Need some help there?" He stops moving as I untie him.
"Dave...you don't look so good..."
"I'm hurt are you saying I'm no longer handsome?"
"Dave!"
"Relax man. They're just flesh wounds, no big deal."

= John: Be Worried
I'm looking over Dave's wounds worried that he is more hurt than he is telling me. I hear footsteps approaching us and I look up I come face to face with a stranger. I open my mouth to say something, but am interrupted as the person exclaims in a loud and surprised tone.
"John!" The guy drops onto his knees and pulls me close to him. He's hugging me as if I would disappear if he ever let go. I'm startled, but something about him seemed oddly familiar.
"Ahem." I hear Dave clear his throat. It catches my attention, but the male in front of me is just looking me over.
"Umm...can you let go?"
"Oh. I'm sorry its just that I thought you were in trouble John! I traveled all this way to get to you and -I'm just so relieved."
"W-what?"
"You had me downright worried you know! When you didn't come to visit like you promised and then the letter-!"
"What letter?" Dave cuts in, but is ignored by the guy who has now begun crying tears of relief and joy.
"Do you- do you know me?" The thought hits me and ask him holding onto the hop that I can finally find out who I am.
"What? Of course I do John. Why in the world would I not know who you are?"
"Cause I lost my memories and I don't know who you are." I hastily tell him. His face look confused for a moment
"John are you joking with me? This isn't very funny. I mean I know you love jokes and pranks, but seriously you almost gave me a heart attack you bloke."
"Actually he's serious." Dirk, who is the only one standing, pulls Dave up as he signals for me and the guy to follow him. The walk back to the Inn is quiet for the most part. Dave keeps looking over his shoulder at me and the other guy.

We enter the Inn and while Dirk patches Dave up Jake starts questioning me.
"Do you really not remember me John?" I shake my head. "What about Jane?" another shake. "Casey?" shake. The guy lets out a sigh. "Well at least I know your safe..."
"Excuse me, but isn't there something more important than remembering a few people?" Dave sounds a bit irritated. "And who are you anyways?"
"Oh I'm sorry mate. It is rather rude for me to not introduce myself." The guy sits up straight and scratches his neck in embarrassment. "My name is Jake. Jake English."
"And how do you know John?"
"Well, we've known each other since we were children..."
"...John didn't you say that your family was in trouble?"
"...yeah" The reminder of how I got hurt filled me with worry. But it was the look on Jake's face that made the entire room go silent.
"This isn't good."
"Well no duh."
"Dave shut up."
"Lad you don't understand. You see John is John Egbert, the prince of the Kingdom of Perdonia."
"What?" I'm a prince?
"And look who's telling jokes now."
"Dave, I don't think he's lying."
"What d'ya mean?"
The English family are the royals of the neighboring kingdom."
"Right, I am the prince of Atunniva. The Egbert and English families have been allies for about a century which is why I know John and why I had to travel so far to get here."
"Wait so that means that if my family is in trouble..."
"The royal family of Perdonia is in trouble."

...
First of all I know I suck at writing for Jake. Secondly, I wonder if you can see what I did with the Kingdom's names. :3
