A groan left me, lifting my back to stretch. The pop echoed in the quiet room, followed by the appreciative sigh. Ah, it was nice to wake on my own. No alarms or phone calls.

Light flooded my sight. A loud snarl left me with a deal of curse words. The blanket I had been sprawled on now covering my face.

"There you are."

"Go the fuck away," I snap toward Eric.

"Greetings."

I blinked, blanket ripped away. My mind was reeling to back track. The thought of blushing came, but never happened as I shrugged. Godric didn't seem to mind. I was dressed. He was dressed. All was cool. I'd apparently trapped the male under the blankets. I had stayed up later to demolish another bottle of liquor. In the drunken stupor I must have forgotten he was in here and just flopped across the bed as I usually did. He was too kind to have not shoved me off.

"I believe you were to bunk with me, Fae."

I shrugged, yawning a bit as I moved for the dresser Eric leaned on. He was dressed for the day. I could hear Godric moving about, but little mind was given to it.

It was a few hours into the night, my light night. It wasn't really a night off, but it was light enough that it could have been. I'd finished checking over the stock, at Eric's request. With a huge grin, I moved out to the crowd on one of our busier nights.

Something hard style was on, definitely not English. Sounded like something from a hard rave. Finding my niche was easy, sweeping up a couple to dance with. My eyes were closed, utterly basking in the feel of the bodies and the music.

There was a light chill from the body I was dancing with. More like they stood still while I was dancing. A loud sigh left me as I stopped.

"Pam," I whine before looking back.

"We have guests."

She gave a light tug at the corner of the dress before shoving the trey with drinks on it at me. My hands instantly snatched it up before she turned me toward Eric's platform. I was giving a rather disgruntled look as I strode up the steps to the group. Thomas, Eric and Godric sat on the chairs. Two sets of eyes slid to me as I stepped up. Pam had redressed me once arriving at the bar, seeing as my jeans and t-shirt weren't fitting in her standards. The attire was a vinyl dress with cap sleeves and a v neck with red under the bust and hemming. The thing hugged tight to my form and ended mid thigh. She'd added gloves to go over my elbows and dark make up. My hair was French braided from the far side and sweeping along the back to fall down the opposite shoulder. Sheer thigh highs showed a gap of skin with spiked heels on my feet.

I actually fit the decor well. My eyes ignored Thomas, shooting Eric an unhappy look before landing on Godric. I gave a warm smile as I moved toward him. The warm glass was offered out.

"I didn't get to apologize this morning for invading your bed. Must have forgotten you were staying there."

"All is well," he assures, taking the glass. He had that faint smile as he looked back to me. "It seems Pamela has held to her word."

His eyes went to the dress. My eyes gave a pointed roll, shoving the other glass toward Thomas with little care. He took it, touching my hand unnecessarily. My hand dropped, gripping the trey before me with both hands.

"It's rather normal." Here I shot my look to Eric. "They like to use me as decoration in the bar. Draw in more vampires." My eyes rolled, smiling back at Godric with a light shrug. "It can be fun."

My eyes slid to the side, spotting the door. I lit up, dropping the trey as I leaped from the platform and rushed the door. The sullen male was forgotten as I all but tackled the female with him. A laugh left her as I pulled back to look at her.

"Sook!" I cheer. "I'm so glad to see you." Here I frown a bit and pull back. "Why are you here?"

My eyes flick to the clearly not happy Bill. Sookie was beaming as she looked at me. "Well, I felt bad about the other night," she admits, linking her arm with mine. "So, I wanted to make it up. Buy you lunch."

I lit up, hip thumping her as I suddenly grip her closer. "Of course! Let me just tell Eric I'm heading out for a bit."

"He's here?" Bill was looking around quickly.

"Of course I am."

Eric stood over me, hand dropping to rest against my neck were it was exposed. Little reaction came from me as I let Sook's hand go to shoot Bill a curious look.

"Is that a good idea, Northman?"

"Of course it is."

"Oh, you mean-"

The hand tightens in warning to shut it. A small fist thumped Eric's chest without real intent.

"I hadn't been aware that you would arrive tonight, Compton."

"Sook's offering to take me out to eat," I say while happily looking to Sookie.

"No."

Two heads of blond whipped around to glare at Eric with equal glares. "What?"

One blond brow arched up, holding back a chuckle. "Fae will be staying. You," he looked pointedly at Sookie then Bill, "Will be leaving."

I swung out to swat his arm. "Come on, Eric. I'm hungry. It wont be too long either."

Those heavy eyes fell to me, hard and unbending. "You will stay here."

I resisted the urge to stomp a foot as I felt my blood boiling. Sookie lightly touched my arm, drawing my attention. Her smile was warm and open.

"Come out tomorrow? I could use some help around the house."

I lit up. I loved helping Sook. My hands clapped as I turned to her, happily ignoring the two glowering vampires having a quiet conversation.

"I'll bring some pork steaks and corn."

"I'll get some gumbo from Sam for ya," she laughs as she takes my hands.

We leaned in giving a tight hug. "Go on," I whisper in her ear.

A grin was shared before she pulled back to take Bill's arm and head out. I didn't look away as they left, still smiling fondly after them. That cold hand landed on my shoulder, leading me back the way I had come from. Eric lifted me back up and swept me to his lap. Now, now I was bored and upset.

I'd really wanted to head out with her. But there was tomorrow.

"A friend?"

I glanced toward Thomas, looking back out at the crowd with my arms crossed at my chest. I was rather stiff in Eric's lap. He was rather handsy with this man around. I understood what he was doing. He wanted it shown that I was his. Though his blood was wearing thin in me, if not already gone. His smell was only on me from the home and touching, proximity at best.

My attention had wondered as quickly as I had heard him. I leaned a bit forwards, tracking something.

"Pardon me, Eric."
