Hello, everyone! :D
It's been a while, hasn't it? Life got a little crazy for a while there, so it took me a bit to get enough time to edit the newest chapter. Hope that all you readers enjoy it! :)

Chapter 64: The Case of the Crimson Horror
The line into Sweetville moved very slowly. Dozens of people—both men and women— were packed together down a standard of white painted walls and bland windows that showed the strange 'city' that Sweetville was. The very peculiar place built by Mrs Winifred Gillyflower to usher in the 'best' of humanity against her so-called prophecy of an upcoming apocalypse. All of it made in uniform, brick by brick, looking very much like some sort of . . . staged production or a child's play model of what a city might look like. It just screamed of something sinister going on to Jenny. She knew that her wife Madame Vastra thought the very same thing. Especially after that picture they had gotten from Mr Thursday.
Jenny looked up the line from where she stood, seeing many people still far ahead of her. It appeared as though, after signing that ledger of Mrs Gillyflower's, that all would be looked over and processed for a possible chance of getting into Sweetville. Not something Jenny wanted to do. No, she knew it would be best if she managed to sneak out of this line and get into the factory itself. She could hear the loud rumbling, clanking, and banging of gigantic machinery coming from somewhere in the building. It was muffled from where she and the others stood. So it must mean it was somewhere nearby. Now, if only she could get to it and figure out what exactly this Mrs Gillyflower was up to, then maybe it might lead them to where—
"Fancy meeting you here."
Jenny tensed for only a moment when someone tapped on her shoulder. But the second she heard that voice, she turned with a smile to see a grinning Wanderer just behind her. It was Third Wanda. The same Jenny had seen many months back. Last time had been a moment of sorrow and tears for the Wanderer. But this time—just as Madame Vastra had predicted—things seemed to have gotten much better. Jenny could tell just by looking at the woman. The spark she remembered being there before was back and shining very brilliantly within the blonde's emerald eyes. The woman's hair was just as long as Jenny remembered from when she first met the travelling Wanderer. It was like the life had been brought back into her fully now. No more woes of the past and a full turn around.
"Wanda?" Jenny gasped in shock, smiling at the blonde. She remembered Madame Vastra saying something about Wanda sending a message a while back. Of being about on her own as she waited for the Doctor. But Jenny did not realize that it had been here in Yorkshire. Wanda shushed her playfully, glancing around as though unwanted ears would hear them.
"I'm actually Alice Rivers at the moment. Had to go uncover," Wanda whispered, winking slyly at Jenny. "Been roaming around for over two weeks now. You wouldn't believe what I've been through." Jenny thought she just might given what the woman was wearing. Wanda had dressed herself up in some sort waistcoat and skirt that looked entirely made out of light-brown tweed. Underneath the coat, she wore a white blouse and a maroon necktie. A red hat topped off the ensemble, though it did not exactly match the time period (one would even call it almost fez-like,) along with a pair of bronze goggles that sat around the bill of the hat like a headband. Though it was all rather ragged in appearance. As though the woman had gone through quite an ordeal before coming here.
"I had to take up on an apprenticeship with an inventor. Called me his 'assistant.' He's the one, apparently, who's been supplying this Mrs Gillyflower with a few of his mechanics and other supplies. Doesn't know what she all needs it for. But he was an excellent way to get into the thick of things," Wanda explained rapidly, yet quietly, to Jenny. "Managed to get him to slip on a few things he made for her. One of them being, strangely, a massive sound device, created to reenact sounds of Mrs Gillyflower's choosing. Strange, given the time period we're in. Highly suspicious if you ask me. Though, I suppose you don't need to seeing how you're here and all. Can I count on Madame Vastra and Strax not being too far away? I doubt that wife of yours would ever let you too far away without backup."
Yep. Definitely back to her old self. The rapid words and rambling was a dead giveaway. And boy did it make Jenny happy to see her old friend back.
"Anyway, I've been chatting here for a new friend, Abigail," Wanda spoke again, this time in a normal tone so that way she seemed to be just chatting with friends. She waved over a red-headed woman standing just behind her. The woman stepped forward, looking nervous as she smiled at Jenny, showing teeth that were not in the best of shape.
"Hello," Abigail greeted, waving a polite hand.
"Abigail has been telling me all about her travels up to here. And about her friend who had gotten here first," Wanda explained to Jenny.
"Oh? Have you had word with your friend in a while?" Jenny asked politely, trying to keep the same demeanour and tone as Wanda was putting up.
"Not since three months back," explained Abigail. "She wrote to tell me how perfect it all were. But not a peep from her since." Seeing the dejected and worried expression on Abigail's face, Wanda gently held the woman's shoulder in reassurance.
"We'll find your friend, Abigail. I promise," the Wanderer swore to the woman, nodding in determination. She then looked over, seeing a door just coming up. "Ooh. Now there's a door screaming 'open me.'" She scooted forward discreetly, giving Jenny a nod. The woman knew exactly what the Wanderer was implying, already getting her lockpicking kit out from the hidden folds of her skirts. Wanda stood behind Jenny, blocking anyone's shifting eye from noticing the woman picking the lock. Only Abigail saw what they were doing as she got closer to them.
"What are you doing?" she asked in a hushed tone, staring at them in disbelief when seeing what they were up to.
"Mischief. Wanna join?" Wanda asked cheekily, grinning with ease.
"I should think not," Abigail scoffed with a shake of her head.
"Then do us a favour and cause a distraction," Jenny offered, glancing over her shoulder briefly at the woman.
"What?" replied Abigail, taken back by this.
"Swoon," said Jenny. "Have a funny turn. Fit of the vapours."
Abigail blinked in pure disbelief, replying, "Are you crackers?" Wanda flipped out a coin from seemingly nowhere, tossing it at the woman.
"A guinea for your troubles," she said with a wink. Abigail immediately tucked the coin away into her purse.
"Done," she said before taking a dramatic loud gasp and spinning on the spot to fall over in a 'dead faint.' The people around swiftly came over to the seemingly fainted woman, checking over for her health. Meanwhile, just as people crowded towards the doorway with their backs turned, the two females snuck through the door and shut it swiftly behind them. All without a single person noticing their departure.
"So, how have things been with you lot?" Wanda asked curiously. As they made their way through the twisted corridors, they could hear themselves getting closer and closer to the loud sound of machinery. "It's been quite a long time since I've seen you and the others. Have to say I've really missed you all."
"We've missed you, too, ma'am," Jenny responded, smiling kindly at the Wanderer. Her smile dropped as she grew more serious. "You haven't seen the Doctor around by chance, have you?"
"Afraid not. I've been on my own since I arrived here," Wanda said with a shrug. "Not the first time I've been stuck in a place without him. Though, this is only the second time it's lasted longer than a few days. Which only can mean one thing."
"What's that?"
Wanda let out a huff of air. "That he's in big trouble." She sped up her pace, coming to a large green door. From there, the sounds of a factory reverberating at their loudest. Deciding this must be where they were looking for, Wanda yanked open the door and allowed Jenny to step in first before closing it behind them.
The loud rhythmic clanging of machinery was deafening the moment they stepped into the room. Though the source of the noise was surprising to say the least. Wanda's brows arched high while Jenny blinked in astonishment when seeing four, very large, gramophone speakers. It was obvious they were the ones making the noise all this time. Obviously simulating the sounds of a large factory as each pointed towards the doorway they had just come from. The inside of the brick room they had stepped in, by all accounts, should be a factory room. It was large, with grated platforms and walkways leading around the place, frosted skylights were seen above for lighting, dull yellow lamps hanging low from the ceiling, bronze metal beams crisscrossing around the ceiling, and a vast open space which would have been perfect for large machinery to be placed in. But of course, just like the rest of Sweetville, it was nothing more than for show.
"Guess this is where that inventor's work went to," Wanda said to Jenny loudly over the noise of the gramophones. She glanced over to see Jenny having her ears cover by her hands to block out some of the noise, obviously not hearing the Wanderer whatsoever. Wanda sighed, looking around the place as she walked past the gramophones, inspecting more of the large 'factory' room. When Jenny tapped on her shoulder, she immediately ducked behind the gramophones along with the maid, peeking around the edge of the devices to see a group of Mrs Gillyflower workers pass by. Each of them holding what appeared to be strange jars of red liquid. Wanda narrowed her eyes at them, knowing what the liquid was. They watched as the group shuffled into a gated lift, going down into the bowels of the factory. After the lift went down, Wanda motioned for Jenny as she ran over to the gated entrance to the lift. She waited until she was certain the people had gotten off the lift from down below before calling the lift back up for them. Once it had arrived, each of them stepped into the tight space and began their descent.
"Do you know what's happenin' here?" Jenny asked Wanda curiously as the sounds of the fake factory began to lessen and she could hear herself think once again.
"Don't remember all the details. Memory's not like it used to be," Wanda sighed with a regrettable shake of her head. "Suppose I could look into a possibility. But I've been trying to reframe from doing that too often. Have to use as little energy as I can now. Use too much and I probably won't make it to Christmas." Jenny was not certain what the Wanderer meant by this, but she did not question it more as the lift settled at the bottom.
Once they had opened the gated door, they glanced around to see they had come into a very dark hallway. Sawdust lay scattered about the floor and all the walls were now plain wood instead of the much nicer white like they had seen above. At one end was a door with a circular window that a crimson light was shining through. At the other was a door that led to somewhere deeper into the facility. When Jenny was about to step towards the red-lighted door, she stopped when seeing Wanda marching very quickly in the opposite direction.
"Wanda?" she called, going after the woman.
"This way. I can feel him," was all the Wanderer stated as she went into the smaller room with a set of spiral stairs that led upwards to who knows where. It was dimly lit. Very hard to see in. But Wanda seemed to know where she was going as she stepped quickly up each step. Even taking two at a time as she appeared to be in a hurry for something.
As they arrived at the top of the stairs, they could see a very small area. A loft of some sort, with a large metal door, bolted shut and a hatch at the bottom. Clearly, a cell if they had ever seen one. They began to hear a clanging and a rustling of chains coming from the cell. As if there were a person inside trying to get someone's attention. Whoever was inside making the clanging sound must have heard their footsteps coming up the stairwell. Wanda swiftly went over to the door and lifted up the hatch. A crimson hand, with a metal cuff from a prison chain around the wrist, shot out of the small doorway, grabbing at Wanda. Jenny gasped in alarm, ready to pull the Wanderer back from safety. But the woman stopped when seeing Wanda holding onto the hand tightly and kissing it.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry," Wanda apologized tearfully as she held the hand in a tender hold. "I'm such an idiot. I'd completely forgotten." She turned to Jenny, hastily taking out her sonic and shoving it into the woman's hands. "Quick, Jenny, unlock the door. We have to get him out." Jenny did not ask who or why. She simply did as Wanda pleaded and unlocked the door in quick fashion. The heavy door swung open once Wanda let go of the crimson hand, revealing a stiffly kneeling Doctor on the floor.
"Doctor!" gasped Jenny.
Wanda rushed forward, crouching down onto the ground to throw her arms around her husband. Only to pull back quickly to begin inspecting him carefully. To make absolutely certain that he was okay. Besides having crimson and cracked skin, and wearing a plain, white flannel long johns, of course. Other than appearing dirty from being locked up in this state for weeks on end in this cell, Wanda concluded, for the most part, that he was perfectly healthy. Again, for the most part. As he began to groan (the sound of it coming out in a gurgle from his mouth being frozen open), Wanda kissed his cheek tenderly and rubbed his face in as soothing motions as she could. His skin felt wrong under her touch. Like hollow leather.
"I'm so sorry, Doctor. I'd forgotten what Mrs Gillyflower had done to you," Wanda whispered as she stroked his face. "I thought maybe you were just caught up somewhere. I should have realized . . ." The Doctor gave a groaning sound, trying his best to look at her. It seemed very hard for him to move at all. His posture was in a frozen hunch and he could barely move to even breath. Wanda sighed, hugging him again. "I know. I can't know everything." The Doctor gave a series of groans. Wanda pulled back with a soft smile. "I love you, too. Now, let's get you back in order, shall we?"
Jenny handed over the sonic to Wanda, allowing the woman to unlock the chains from her husband while she grabbed the Doctor's folded clothes from the straw scatter on the floor. The Wanderer shifted to place one of the Doctor's arms around her shoulders, giving him enough support so that he could move. It was a very slow shuffle for them. But they managed to get him down the spiralling stairs and to the bottom floor. After they passed the lift they heard someone come out of the compartment. Wanda and Jenny glanced over their shoulders to see Ada, the blind daughter of Mrs Gillyflower. They remembered her from Mrs Gillyflower's earlier serum. According to the woman, her daughter had been blinded by her late husband in a drunken rage. Of course, Wanda knew the truth. But it was not something she wished to think about at the moment. Her Theta came first. The rage towards what Mrs Gillyflower had done would come later.
They saw Ada tilt her head towards their direction. Obviously, she heard them. However, she must have assumed they were mere factory workers for she continued down the hallway towards the stairwell. Her cane waving in front of her to guide her way back to where she had kept the Doctor all this time. Wanda knew she would have to thank the kind woman later. Again, husband came first.
They shuffled through the door where the neon red light came from. Stream issued from around the area after the door swung shut behind them. They could see random bags filled with supplies and ropes lying around. A window came to their immediate left. This being the origin of where the crimson light was coming from. When they came up to the window, they stared in horror to see a group of six people, in only their undergarments, hoisted over a large vat of boiling crimson liquid. Each person hung limply in place on a strange dipping frame attached to a crane made specifically for holding people in upright positions. It looked as though each person were unconscious, fast asleep and unaware of what they were being lowered into just beneath their bare feet.
"Oh, my god," Jenny breathed as she watched the group of men and women being lowered into the vat of boiling liquid.
"Come on, we need to shift it," Wanda said as she swiftly picked up the pace in getting the Doctor where he needed to be. He groaned, stiffly lifting a hand to point towards a corridor up ahead. "Yes, sweetie, I know where you need to go. We'll get you fixed up in no time." The Doctor gave a series of groans. Wanda responded with an exasperated sigh. "For the love of—yes, we'll go get some Jammie Dodgers after all of this. For now, focus on something other than your stomach, Spaceman. I swear every day I question why I married you." Again, the Doctor gave many groans, sounding almost rather cheeky given how he was communicating. Wanda scoffed. "Well, of course, it was because I'm madly in love with you. But that's beside the point."
Finally, they came up to a row of strange cubicles. If they did not know what purpose the tall, yet slim, steel cramped rooms where made for, they might have thought they were some sort of strange place for a wash. As quick as she could, Wanda unlocked the door and opened it for the Doctor. She and Jenny helped him step inside before handing him his clothes and sonic screwdriver. He struggled as he lifted it up in his hand, sending out a pulse into the machine cubicle he had stepped into. The two women then closed the door, allowing the Doctor to do whatever it was he had planned to reverse the process that had been done to him. Briefly, they had to step around to hide from a group of Sweetville workers. But once the coast was clear, Jenny and Wanda stood in front of the cubicle the Doctor was in. Each of them anxiously staring at the metal box in their own way, watching the green glow coming out of the vented window on the door. Steam issued forth from the window as well. There was also a series of ticking heard from without. Suddenly, without warning, the door burst open and out came the Doctor. Properly dressed, skin all back to normal, and grinning his usual boyish smile with glee.
"Miss me?" he asked merrily. He spread his arms out, wrapping them around his wife as she flung herself at him. He and she both laughed with delight as he spun her around, enjoying just holding her again. Something he had missed for the past weeks. At one point (though he dare not say it out loud) he had almost thought he might not see her again. He pulled back, grinning like a maniac. "Just when you think your wife is never going to wander back to you." Before she could say a word, he pulled her in for a deep kiss. One which she gladly returned with a passion. They held each other close, just enjoying the wonderful sensation of each other and all that they were. When they finally pulled away, each one of their faces was flushed as they beamed. Wanda then took a step back, looking him up and down.
"Are you okay? No ill effects?" she asked him in concern.
"None whatsoever," he assured her.
"Positive?" she questioned again, raising a sceptical brow.
"Absolutely!" he beamed confidently. He even did a little kick in the air to prove his point.
Wanda smiled for a moment. "Good." Then, her face fell to anger as she swiftly slapped him across the face.
The Doctor jerked to the side from the hit, flexing his jaw for a moment before looking back at her with a grin. "You have no idea how good that feels."
Wanda arched an irritated brow. "That felt good, did it?" She then promptly slapped his other cheek sharply.
"Ow! Now, that one did hurt!" the Doctor whined, frowning at her as he rubbed his cheek.
"You—egotistical, idiotic, moronic, childish Time Lord!" Wanda said very crossly while she hit him in the chest with a slap alongside every word. She then stomped her foot on the ground, pointing a strict finger at him. "What is it we've always talked about?"
"Ah . . . never wear a fez on a Tuesday?"
She hit him in the chest again. "Backup! We always have backup in case of emergencies! We promised ourselves that things would change after Amy and Rory, and that we'd be more willing to ask for help with these things. We don't have to have a plan worked out, but we at least need to have good friends close by if we need them. What year did you come to? Hmm?"
"Um . . . 1893?"
"And who currently lives in this year?" She watched as he was about to answer this question. But knowing him, it would be a large list of famous people instead of who she actually meant. "Vastra, Jenny, and Strax." Just as she thought, the Doctor dropped from naming off the list of historical figures, then looking rather sheepish as she realized what she was saying.
"Ah . . . right." He rubbed his hands together in embarrassment. "I should have—."
"—contacted them right away in case you needed them," Wanda finished his statement. With hands on her hips, she stood there with her famous fuming red face. If only she had been wearing green. Then she would definitely live up to the 'Tinkerbell' nickname from Jack. "Like I had promised you what I'd do, I contacted them when I wandered into this time period. I sent them a message right away. But, no! Not you. You wanted to show off to Clara. Universe forbid if she actually died from that process like the others. You're damn lucky she lived, Spaceman, or else we'd have a real problem here. Idiot with a box, that's what you are." She continued to grumble as she stomped down the hallway. The Doctor hurriedly kept in step with her. Meanwhile, Jenny trailed behind, not really wanting to step in between the husband and wife at the moment and remind them of the short time they had.
"But you are glad to see me again . . . right?" the Doctor asked, looking at her with his puppy dog eyes.
"Well, of course, I am! I'm always happy to be around you! Doesn't mean I'm not still right cross with you," Wanda scoffed, rolling her eyes. But none being cross did not matter to the Doctor. He merely beamed as he grabbed her hand, jogging forward to now lead the way.
"Right you are, though!" he called eagerly, ready to get back into fighting back with whatever horrible things were being done to the humans. Or, better yet, go off to save their companion. "Got to stop Mrs Gillyflower and get to Clara. Speaking of, do you know where she is?"
"Well, of course. Where else would she be than one of those . . . display cases of Mrs Gillyflower's," Wanda replied with a roll of her eyes.
"I meant the exact house she had been placed in."
"Ah . . . well, then, no, not really."
"Clara?" Jenny finally spoke up, finally realizing what the two of them were saying. She sped up in the pace, coming beside them. "What do you mean? Better yet, what happened to you? How long have you been like that?"
"Days . . . Weeks? Don't know. Long story," muttered the Doctor.
"Two and a half, to be exact," answered Wanda. She gave the Doctor's hand a squeeze and looking guilty now. "I've been here for all this time. I should have realized . . . But I just thought maybe it was like that other time where I had wandered to a point in time before you had arrived to. Remember that other time I had been there for weeks before you showed up?"
"Ah, yes, that had been fun," the Doctor smiled in remembrance. He shared a brief grin with his wife before he noticed Jenny still gazing back expectantly. So, he then began his tale to her, keeping it brief in explaining what he had been doing before he had been found.
Wanda did not pay much attention, already remembering now in what had happened to the Doctor. It came back to her when seeing him in the cell. It was not as she had told Jenny. Her memory itself was good. It was more of the unfortunate case of this part of the Doctor's timeline not being as viewed as his earlier moments while she had been in her pocket world. She had only seen the moments with Clara and the Doctor a hand full of times. So, it was more of the case of her not having as many details remembered from later moments in his life. And looking into a possibility after being away from the TARDIS for so long . . . it made her afraid to tear up her body even further than what had been going on for centuries now. How long did she have now?
"Poor Edmund must have come looking for us and then fallen into a vat of pure venom."
Wanda blinked out of her thoughts, realizing that the Doctor had finished up telling his story to Jenny.
"He was pushed, actually," Wanda said with a heavy sigh. "Poor man. Didn't even see it coming. Mrs Gillyflower figured it out what he was up to and had him, and his lover, taken care of. That's what brought me here. Saw him in the canal while I was running some errands. I recalled him being with you during an investigation and I feared something had gone wrong when he turned up dead." She gave his hand a squeeze, staring down at his skin, just so glad to see and feel it back to normal. "I'm sorry," she breathed.
The Doctor gave her hand a kiss and said, "Again, not your fault. If you remembered every single detail in my timeline . . . you'd be as crazy as Alpha."
Oi! I mean, it's true, but you watch it there, Madman.
Wanda and the Doctor both smiled when hearing Alpha speaking up with them. It had been a strange relationship between the three of them over the past centuries. Much more . . . sane and healthy than it had been. Alpha was still . . . well, as abrasive as ever. But she was much more reasonable and calm than she had been before. Well, as she could be. Again, still a work in progress. They were getting there. Such as now her using the term 'madman' as a nickname for him.
"What is that stuff, though?" Jenny asked them.
"Deadly poison," answered the Doctor, sounding grave. "And Mrs Gillyflower has been dipping her pilgrims in a dilute form to protect and preserve them." The Doctor let go of Wanda's hand, beginning to scan around with his sonic as he inspected different pipes around the area they were walking through. His mind in the middle of racing for a solution to stopping Mrs Gillyflower. "Process didn't work on me, maybe because I am not human."
"That's exactly why it didn't work, actually. And thank universe for that," Wanda said to him, still seeming both peeved he had been so careless and relieved to him being alive.
"Well, then, that explains it," the Doctor said, nodding before continuing on with his ramble. "So, I ended up on the reject pile."
"Preserve them against what?" asked Jenny.
"You heard her in that sermon. Against her so-called 'Coming Apocalypse,'" Wanda explained. "Which, by the way, I have a funny feeling that this apocalypse is something that she is going to make happen."
"'When the End of Days is come and judgement rains down upon us all . . .,'" Jenny spoke up thoughtfully, frowning as she thought over the sermon she (and apparently Wanda) had gone to. The Doctor turned around sharply with interest.
"What?" he asked her.
"It was what the Mrs Gillyflower droned on and on about in her sermon," Wanda explained to him. "Which is what made me think she has something planned. Now, if I could just remember what that is . . ." She paused as she tried to think over what had happened during this adventure. Should she go ahead and look into a possibility? Shaking her head against this, she looked again to the Doctor. "It has something to do with that crimson poison of hers. I know that much."
"Madame will come looking for me. We best get on," Jenny said when realizing how long she had been in the factory. Knowing her wife, Madame Vastra would most likely begin to worry about her.
"Yes, Clara, got to find Clara," the Doctor agreed when remembering whom they needed to save first thing. He grabbed Wanda's hand and made a quick way towards the door down the hall.
"Yeah, best find her before anything else happens," Wanda added in agreement, walking just as fast alongside her husband.
"But . . . Clara's dead. Isn't she?" Jenny asked them, making each stop at the doorway just before exiting the corridor. Each looked at one another. The Doctor raised a brow while Wanda merely shrugged. They then looked to Jenny.
"It's complicated," they said together before taking their leave through the door.
XxXxXxXx
Jenny continued to question them as they searched for Clara outside through the different homes built in Sweetville. The Doctor and Wanda ran from home to home, looking for their companion. Still simply telling Jenny that things were complicated when it came to Clara. Nothing the Doctor could explain as to why there had been a Clara before. And nothing Wanda could say without giving away spoilers. Questions would simply have to remain unanswered until the time of the Impossible Girl.
Eventually, they had found Clara within a glass bell jar in one of Sweetville's houses, sitting there with a smile and dressed in her purple gown. A man was inside the jar with her, standing beside the chair Clara in been set in. Apparently, Mrs Gillyflower liked to pair up the people, presenting them in a display as if they were taking a picture, or even as though they were a museum piece. A pump sat behind the glass, sending in air into the case for the people frozen in place. The Doctor smashed the glass jar with a chair before Wanda could try simply weakening the glass with her sonic.
"We've could have done that a less destructive way, you know," Wanda sighed as she helped the Doctor brush off the glass from Clara. Together, they awkwardly picked her up, shuffling out of the house and back towards the factory. "What about that man back there? Will he be all right now that he's out of the jar?"
". . . Let's worry about that later," was all the Doctor said.
Eventually, they ended back up to where the cubicles were. Carefully, they set Clara inside of the metal box and the Doctor set the cubicle to do the same reverse process as he had done to himself. Once the metal door was closed, the Doctor and Wanda stood just at the door, listening to the ticking sound from within and seeing the steam issuing out of the vented window. Each of them worried over their companion within. Even though they had promised the young woman they would not see her as a replacement for their lost daughter, they still felt this strong attachment to her. Not that they never developed attachments to their other companions in the past. It was just different with Clara. Like she was their adoptive descendant. Or something along those lines.
"We've got company!" Jenny said quickly, tapping the two travellers' shoulders to get their attention. Looking over, the two saw the arrival of a group of Mrs Gillyflower's so-called 'pilgrims.' Or rather the ones who the woman had gathered as workers in the factory to help along with her plans. Wanda could only wonder why anyone would ever go along with what that insane woman had planned.
"Oh, great, great. Attack of the supermodels," the Doctor complained, frowning at the group that faced them. A variety of men and women dressed in black stood at the ready to attack them. Some in the group even held clubs in their hands. The Doctor shifted warily on his feet. "Time for a plan."
"No, Doctor, this one's on me," Jenny assured the Time Lord, stepping forward to guard the two behind her. She hurriedly took off her bonnet, then unbuttoned her dress. Both fell away from her to reveal the all leather, skintight suit. She grinned eagerly, ready for a fight. It had been too long since she got a chance for a good brawl. Being outnumbered should make it even more fun. A man came at her first, but Jenny easily took him out, flipping him over her shoulder before stomping on his neck to incapacitate him. Two more advanced, but they were knocked away by Jenny with a few back-handed punches. She did not even look over her shoulder when she did this.
"Woo! Go, Jenny!" Wanda cheered, clapping her hands as she bounced on her feet. But when more of the group with clubs advanced, the Doctor seemed to think even Jenny was no match for them as he grabbed both her and his wife's hands and yanked them down to run away. But they stopped when they heard a battle cry come out of nowhere.
"Sontar ha!" crackled the voice of Strax. The three pushed themselves against the wall as red beams from Strax's weapon shot out at the group of workers. The pilgrims of Mrs Gillyflower ran with shouts, retreating in fear for their lives. Strax ran past the three pressed against the walls, laughing loudly with glee as he went after the workers. Madame Vastra came running in next with a katana in hand. She went straight to her wife, making absolutely certain that Jenny was okay. Once Vastra felt relieved that her wife was indeed safe, she turned to the Doctor and Wanda, nodding at them in greeting.
"Let's go!" she ordered them, ready to leave.
"No, ma'am, we're not escaping. We've got to help the Doctor and Wanda with Clara," Jenny explained to her wife quickly, pointing to the cubicle that the companion was still in. Vastra turned slowly to the two travellers, staring at them in bewilderment. Possibly even a bit of misgiving in her gaze with them. Once again, the Doctor and Wanda gave each other a look before staring back at their friend.
"Long story," said the Doctor.
"It's very, very complicated," said Wanda. They then turned back to the cubicle, waiting for Clara's return. Strax came back over, grinning eagerly.
"What now, Madame? We could lay my magnetic cluster bands!" he exclaimed in excitement, practically buzzing with energy.
"Strax—," Vastra tried to say.
"Or dig trenches and fill them with acid!" Strax went on.
"Strax! You're over excited," Vastra scolded him, shaking her head in disproval. "Have you been eating those jelly sherbet fancies again?"
"No," Strax replied very slowly. Guilt was written all over his face.
"Go outside and wait for me until I call for you," Vastra ordered him strictly. Strax pouted, walking away disgruntled as he muttered under his breath. Something about playing with grenades. Wanda snickered, always finding the Sontaran so amusing.
"Okay, I think she's about done," the Doctor said, earning Wanda's sole attention now. He briefly glanced back at the two behind them. "I know who you'll think she is, but she isn't." Together they opened the door, revealing their companion. Clara rocked on her feet with eyes still closed. She then fell forward into their open arms. Each of them held their precious companion close, smiling as she opened her eyes to stare at them in a daze. "Hello, stranger," the Doctor greeted her with a smile.
"Hello, sweetie," Wanda greeted as well, giving the companion a wink. "Sleep well?" Clara blinked, focusing more on them now and smiled in delight for a moment before staring over their shoulder in surprise.
"Hi," she said carefully, gazing at Vastra and Jenny in interest. She even waved a little. She then looked back at the two time travellers. "What's going on?"
"You were frozen in a stasis, the Doctor almost died being turned into a crimson Morph, and now we're trying to stop Mrs Gillyflower's apocalypse," Wanda explained rapidly, helping Clara to stand upright. "Oh, and these are our friends Madame Vastra and Jenny. They work in London as investigators. Think of them a Holmes and Waston. In all actuality, they're what the story of Holmes and Waston came from. So, basically, you're meeting the real Sherlock Holmes and John Waston now." The Wanderer beamed, finding it amusing in how Clara blinked in trying to keep up with her rambling.
"She's a lizard," the Doctor added lightly, nodding along with his wife.
"Okay," breathed Clara, trying to take that all in. "Um," she looked back at the Silurian and Jenny, "nice to meet you. I'm Clara." Jenny and Vastra muttered their hellos, seeming at a loss of what more to say. Wanda knew it must be very odd for them to be seeing a seemingly dead woman.
Soon, Vastra suggested they get moving as she knew they most likely only had a limited time now to stop Mrs Gillyflower from doing whatever it was she had planned. Most likely the woman would advance her plans now that she knew people were there in the factory there to stop her. As they left the processing area and marched down the hallway to the lift, Vastra spoke rapidly with the Doctor about what the crimson liquid was. A deadly poison made by a red leech from her time. A creature that would effect Silurians' water systems in the past and kill any who drank the water with its poison.
"It's been hanging around, lurking in the shadows. Maybe it's evolved," concluded the Doctor once Vastra had finished explaining what she had discovered. "Maybe it had help."
"Mrs Gillyflower," Wanda said grimly.
"My thoughts exactly," agreed the Doctor with a firm nod.
"I've been thinking . . .," Clara tried to say, but her two time travelling friends were not listening.
"Do you think Mrs Gillyflower would use the leech's poison in the drinking water?" Wanda wondered aloud.
"No, too many flaws with that. That woman is cunning and loves precision. She would only go with the perfect plan," the Doctor said with a shake of his head, beginning to pace as he thought of what the woman had up her sleeve. "Besides, she wants the whole world to fall. Not just here locally."
"The chimney—," Clara tried once more.
"'Judgement will rain down on us all,'" muttered the Doctor. He snapped his fingers together, trying to get his mind to work out what was happening.
"Well, she can't actually make it rain . . . Can she?" pondered Wanda as she paced alongside the Doctor.
"Yeah, but the chimney—," Clara tried again.
"No, no, no. Still too many flaws with that," the Doctor muttered, shaking his head. He even started to slap his forehead a bit to get himself to think. They were halted when someone grabbed them each by the shoulder, turning them to face a stern looking Clara.
"A chimney that doesn't blow smoke," she said firmly, eyeing them both steadily. Husband and wife blinked, glancing at each other in surprise before looking back at Clara with bright grins.
"You're as brilliant as ever, Clara," Wanda said proudly, kissing a giggling Clara on the cheek before grabbing the companion's hand and leading them off. The Doctor got the lift working for them, sending them back up into the main part of the factory.
"Why didn't we think of the chimney?" the Doctor said with a pout as they went up. Wanda laughed, and Clara snickered, grinning at each other.
Once they were up on the main floor, they kept in the shadows, watching as Mrs Gillyflower's pilgrims set to work quietly. They were gearing up, getting ready for the so-called apocalypse made by the madwoman and her leech. Lights turned on within the room, showing them a gigantic, crudely made rocket.
"Well, you don't see that every day in 1893," Wanda breathed softly from their hiding spot, staring at the rocket in disbelief. Glancing down, she saw the workers pulling a blanket off a very large glass jar of red liquid. She tapped on the Doctor's shoulder, pointing it out.
"And there's the poison," he muttered to the group. "All right, gang, I've got a plan." He stood up quickly, only to duck back down when he knocked a spare metal bolt off the piping they were hiding behind. They held in a collective breath, fearing they had been found out. Luckily, it seemed the sound of steam from the rocket was enough to muffle the sound the Time Lord had made. "Okay," he sighed along with the rest of them, "Wanda, Clara, you're with me. Vastra and Jenny, you two take care of the poison. Do whatever it takes to keep it out of that rocket." The two nodded firmly, ready to save their world. All rushed off in opposite directions, going to their set destination. Soon, the Doctor, Clara, and Wanda were walking down a hallway towards where the Time Lord remembered seeing Mrs Gillyflower coming in and out from. They halted in place when hearing soft sobbing coming from behind them. They turned in place, seeing Ada sitting on a crate in the corridor, rubbing at her eyes as tears ran down her face. She sniffled, shifting her head up with her cloud eyes towards where she had heard them come from.
"Who is that? Who is there?" she asked hoarsely through her tears. The Doctor stared at the blind woman for a moment before slowly coming over to her. Gently, he crouched in front of her and took one of her hands. He patted it in reassurance when she gave a startled gasp before pressing it to his cheek, letting her feel his face. Ada gasped quietly. "You . . . It's you, my monster." She held his face in both hands now, smiling as more tears leaked down her face, her eyes facing off towards the wall behind him. She frowned when feeling his skin. Soft and smooth. "But you're . . ."
"Warm and alive," he said gently. "Thanks to you, Ada. You saved me from your mother's human rubbish tip." His hands held hers in appreciation. Though she had saved him because of selfish reasons, she had still kept him alive and safe from her mother's reaches. And for that, he would be forever grateful. Besides that, he could tell how lonely the poor woman was. She experienced no love or comfort in the life she lived. Especially not from her own mother. She had been desperate for someone to share some sort of affection with. Anyone would be. It . . . It reminded him of Alpha with Wanda, in a way. Ada began to cry again, making the Doctor feel even more sorry for her. He placed a hand on the woman's cheek, close to the scars around her eyes. "Now, hey. What's wrong?"
"She does not want me, monster," Ada explained, voice wavering as she tried to hold back her tears. She swallowed, appearing steadier as she spoke this time as she appeared to be accepting her fate. "I am not to be chosen. Perhaps it was my own sin. The blackness in my heart that my father saw in me."
"Oh, no, no, don't say that," Wanda spoke up, feeling her hearts weep for the poor woman. She walked over, crouching down beside her husband. "You're much, much better than that." Ada stiffened, wary of the newcomer.
"Who is that?" she questioned, tensing at the prospect of someone she did not know seeing her in such a state.
"This is my wife, the Wanderer," the Doctor explained. Wanda took Ada's hand, placing it on her cheek so that the woman could feel her face to get a good look at her.
"I could never thank you enough for what you did for my husband," Wanda said gratefully, kissing the woman's hand in thanks. "I don't know what I would have done without him."
"You are very fortunate indeed. It isn't good to be alone," Ada said quietly, feeling the soft skin on Wanda's face. Wanda could tell that the woman was disappointed in the news of the Doctor already having someone special in his life. She must have really felt a strong connection with the Time Lord during the weeks of keeping him safe. Wanda felt pity for the woman. She wished there was something she could do for Ada. The poor woman did not deserve this life she lived.
"You see? No one with blackness in their hearts could ever be so kind," the Doctor told her kindly. "That's all nonsense, stupid, backwards nonsense, and you know it." He ran another comforting hand along her face. His thumb brushed against the scars around her upper cheeks and eyes. He frowned when feeling them. They felt very familiar. He had always suspected there was something more to Ada's blindness than the story given by Mrs Gillyflower. It seemed his suspicions just might be correct. He pushed this thought aside, for the time being, pressing to a different issue. "Now, Ada, I need you to tell me something. Who is Mr Sweet?" Ada whimpered and shook her head, turning to face away from him.
"Oh, dear monster," she breathed, torn in what to say to him.
"Please," pleaded the Doctor.
"I cannot. Even now, I cannot. I cannot betray Mama." The woman shook her head. They could see she wanted to tell the Doctor everything but going against her mother hurt her too much to even think about.
"It's okay," Wanda assured the woman, squeezing her hand kindly. "You love your mother very much, and we won't ever force you to betray her." She and the Doctor shared a glance before looking back at Ada.
"We want you to come with us, though," the Doctor said, slowly helping Ada to stand. "There is something you need to know."

It went about as much as Wanda expected. Mrs Gillyflower was just as insane as she remembered from her memories from the show. The woman was just maniac, finding humour in the situation of killing off the whole planet using Mr Sweet's—the red leech that she had allowed to attach to her chest—poison from her rocket. The woman was so far gone in thinking her version of the world would be paradise compared to the society she lived in now. Why? Wanda had no idea. It had the woman so far removed from the rest of the world, from the rest of sanity, that she had even used Ada as a guinea pig for finding an antitoxin to the red leech's venom. This being the reason why Ada was blind. Not because of a cruel father, but a cold-hearted mother. It made Wanda still feel so furious and disgusted by a mother treating her own child so maliciously. She had almost lashed out at Mrs Gillyflower when the woman justified her cruelty to her daughter for the means for her 'paradise.' But the Doctor, feeling just as furious as Wanda, had held her back, keeping enough of a level head to allow Ada herself by the one to confront her mother.
Of course, it had almost fallen apart when Mrs Gillyflower, once realizing they had destroyed her mechanism as she had been cowering from the anger of her daughter, had grabbed Ada and used her as a shield. The mad mother kept a gun to her own daughter's head the entire way to the chimney, threatening to end her life just so the woman could succeed in her plans. Of course, Vastra and Jenny had already gotten the poison, so there was no poison released when the rocket had exploded overhead after Mrs Gillyflower had launched it. This, of course, had the woman furious. Even though they had managed to get Ada out of harm's way, and all plans had been foiled, Mrs Gillyflower had still threatened to kill them all. Luckily Strax had been there from above, taking a shot at the woman and knocking her down to her death from far down the chimney.
Wanda now sat in the entertainment room on the TARDIS, contemplating all of this absently. She wore more comfortable, modern clothing now. An indigo tunic with her usual brown capris and black mary janes. Though she no longer wore black as she used to in the few years after learning of her past and her daughter's death, she preferred darker colours than the past bright greens. She felt green or bright colours did not suit her anymore. Too much has changed. Therefore, she needed a change, too. But of course, this had been something she had worn for years and years now. Perhaps she needed a new change again?
Her thoughts wandered back to Ada when she thought of her past and changes. The woman had said the same thing when they had parted from her down the alleyway. After the woman had killed off the red leech when it had tried to crawl away from her dead mother, it was like a dark shadow finally leaving her. Just as Ada had said to them, nothing but light awaited for her now. Wanda had tried to ask the Doctor quietly if there was anything they could do for the woman's eyes before they left her behind. But the Doctor explained that even their advanced medicine could not possibly reverse what had been done to her. It was too old of damage, and the red leech's poison would have done its job too thoroughly.
Wanda let out a soft, sad sigh, wishing there was more she could have done for the woman who saved her Theta's life. But perhaps just having the cold mother gone was enough for Ada to be happy now. It seemed like it with how happy of a smile the woman had when they departed from her. Wanda took a sip from her cup, leaning back more in her comfy chair as she stared at the dark screen of the large television across the room. Just enjoying the warm blanket of energy the TARDIS wrapped around her. Sexy had immediately begun comforting and reversing some of the decay in her mind. Wanda knew it was the old girl's way of keeping her alive years longer. It had been working over the many, many years onboard the TARDIS with the Doctor. But Wanda, and Sexy knew it would only work for so long. Eventually . . . the end would come.
"Hey, you."
Wanda looked up, smiling when seeing Clara coming into the room. She scooted over, making room for Clara to curl up right beside her. They tended to always do this, sharing chairs together and such. They were comfortable in curling up together, laughing away at whatever it was they had just done, or enjoy reading books together, or even watch a movie in the entertainment room. Wanda wondered if she should offer to start up a movie for them and get a large blanket to share.
"Hey, yourself," Wanda replied, taking a sip of her drink. "Did the Doctor give you the okay?"
"Ugh. Took him forever," Clara complained, sinking down into the chair to relax. The Doctor had taken the companion right away to the medical bay once on the ship, checking her out for any ill effects from being in stasis for so long. Of course, Wanda knew the companion was fine, but that still did not stop the Time Lord from worrying. Clara smiled, sitting up better as she grinned and turned to the Wanderer. "So, it's been a while since I've seen this face. How've you been? How long has it been now with you and the Doctor?"
Wanda's smile lessened a bit as she stared more solemnly down at her drink. She thumbed the rim of the cup, gazing at the liquid the ceramic mug distantly. "It's been a long time now. I'm almost caught up with him."
Clara noticed the shift in the Wanderer's demeanour, staring at her curiously as why it would make Wanda go so . . . sombre. "What do you mean 'caught up'?"
Wanda smiled softly at her, trying to be more cheerful as to not worry the companion. "It's been almost four hundred years now with the Doctor. I'm almost all the way through the timeline I've watched from my old world."
"Oh . . . Well, that's good, right? I bet you're excited to finally start going to places you've never seen before." There was a long pause from the companion as she seemed hesitant to say what else was on her mind. "Wanda . . . can I ask you something? If it's too personal, you don't have to answer. But it's been something on my mind lately."
"Go ahead. You know I'm always willing to answer your questions."
Clara shifted on her seat before staring steadily at the Wanderer. "If it has really been that long with you and the Doctor . . . have either of you thought to possibly . . . try again?" Immediately the companion seemed to regret this question, not even letting Wanda answer. "Sorry, that was rude, wasn't it? Just forget I said anything."
"No, no, you're fine." Wanda smiled softly, staring sadly down at her stomach. "Truthfully, the Doctor and I have tried again. But . . . whatever the Master had done to me . . . this current body won't ever be able to have children again. I would be . . . if I ever regenerated. But until then, we're just happy as things are." She looked back at the companion, giving her a smile that conveyed there was nothing to worry about. "Maybe one day, eh? You could even be the godmother."
Clara grinned eagerly, turning to pick up the remote from beside the chair on a small table. "So! You've promised me a movie night last time."
"Yes, I did," Wanda agreed with a nod, smiling brightly. "So, what will we be watching this time?" She sat back in the seat, letting Clara chat away about what movie to watch. All the while trying not to think about the future to come for Clara and the Doctor after she was gone.

Things for the Doctor and Wanda seem to be completely back to normal. :) That makes me so happy! Let's hope that it stays that way. So, what did everyone think of the new chapter? Good? Absolutely terrible? Let me know in a review of what you thought. It always helps me keep on track to be a good writer for you all. :)
Reviewers:
softthanos: I know. I am, too. XD Glad you liked it! Hope this one is just as good.
bored411: Agreed. Very adorable. They are just too cute at times. All of them. Hope you enjoyed the newest chapter!
All The Stories Are True 24601: I'm glad that you like it that much. :) Though I know that I could always make the story better than it already is. Still, hope that possibly I can keep up the good work for the next story to come. I'm really starting to worry that the next part won't be as good. Hopefully my fears are wrong. Really hope that you enjoyed the new chapter. Until next time!
normandy1701: Yep! Finally! Haha Clara is really the perfect person to get people to stop acting childishly. I think that episode is one of many favorites of mine. Agreed, his speech always makes me cry during that part. It's just . . . so moving. Nah, it's all good. It's hard keeping track of things, especially with a long story like this. Though it is always fun going back after a long while to read a story you enjoy. ;) Hope you enjoyed the newest chapter! Take care!
Twizziee: Aww, thank you! I'm just so delighted that you liked the chapter. Let me know if you liked this one just as much. ;) Take care and have a wonderful day!
Belle France: Yay! I'm just so happy that you like it so much. :) Fingers crossed that you liked the newest update just as much. Until next time!
swimmjacket: I'm just as happy! They really are idiots haha. Very glad that you liked it. I think that episode is always great. More beautiful when the Doctor gives his speech at the end. It brings tears to my eyes every time. Oh, we will. Very soon now. Before you even know it. ;) Oh, I think any story like this needs to be planned out. Mostly because there's just so much to the Doctor Who universe. One cannot just jump in without planning something haha. I know it brights my day when hearing from you after a chapter. :) Hope to see you again soon!
Guest(a): Glad you enjoyed! About time, am I right? haha They really just needed that all along. Oh, Wanda was so badass in that moment. She was like mama wolf taking charge and protecting a pup. Sadly, no child. As explained in this chapter, what the Master did made Wanda's current body unable to bear any more children. Maybe if there was another regeneration . . . Clara will always be sort of an adoptive child to them. Though they just might not treat her like a 'child' as much as they had been at first. Clara is great in many aspects. Many which I think the show itself kind of left out or didn't convey well on screen. Reading her character in the comics helped a lot in getting some better understanding. Hoping that you liked the new chapter and to see you again in the future!
mjahappy: Oh, I am so sorry. :( I really hope that you are okay. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. Don't worry about reviewing at all. Just take care of you. I hope that maybe the chapter helped you feel a bit better in some ways.
TimeWarrior42: Yep, finally lol ;) Glad you enjoyed it!
Momochan77: Finally some closure for those two. About time, am I right? haha Glad you liked it! One of my favorites as well. ;) Hope you enjoyed the newest update!
Whovianeverlark17: haha They are just too sweet at times. Clara was someone they really needed in their lives. She does wonders. Until next time!
Guest(b): So happy that it did! Hopefully this chapter made your day just a brilliant. :)
N7SpaceHamster: No problem. Like always, I'm just happy seeing you when you have time to review and all that. :) Everything is going okay so far. Hope that it's going better for you! Ah, that hotel. It's a horrible place for anyone at any time. Especially worse when one is going through hardships. As we saw of Wanda's fears, it was a lot of future fears, but it was also fears she has had from the very beginning. Even if she never realized it until that moment. The fears of her ever hurting others. The fear of the wolf inside her. Glad that it was conveyed well. Was worried that I might have messed that part up. Wanda was happy kissing a Doctor who she felt that still loved her. Good question about the Doctor's door. Would it have changed? Guess we might not ever find out. Glad you liked that part so much! Been really wanting to slowly build to that moment for a long while. And I really wanted to do a character forever, in any story, with going through stages of depression, or some kind of mental illness, and going through the motions naturally instead of how other forms of media portrays it. Definitely in the acceptance stage now. Ah . . . I don't think anything can stop the loss of our Wanderer. Not even me.
It's nice having a companion around who's dealt with different Doctors. Gives both them and the viewers of the show a different perspective of things. Same goes here for the different Wandas as you said. ;) You're also right. Any companion would be a good help for both of the Time Lords. Though Clara always has been a good mediator. I think that's why I like her so much. Wanda and Clara really haven't had time to interact much. Mostly because Wanda hasn't been around a lot for Clara. But as we've seen in recent chapters that have changed a bit. Wanda didn't really forget Jenny. Just that Jenny has always been sort of her first daughter. Even if it was under unusual circumstances. Mommy wolf came out to protect a pup in need haha ;) And Wanda made the promise because of just knowing that she would do anything for that child. Or any child. Yes, finally talking lol ;) So glad that you liked the last chapter. Hope you like the new one just as much! Take care!
Lunz1: Well . . . it will be happy for Wanda. Maybe not so much for us. :( I'm sorry.
Soph time lord: I hope it was a good sort of cry. Glad that you like it. Hope the rest of the story is just as good!
BeCent: Yep, much better now. :) Clara to the rescue! haha
Soph-isticated: Aww, I'm just so happy that you've enjoyed it so much! Don't worry, I do update as often as possible. Sometimes within just days apart. :) I'm sorry. We are going to lose our dear Wanderer. :( Well, I know that my writing is not the best and can always be improved. But to know that I helped you for writing gives me more joy than you can imagine. And I just know that your story will be better than anything I write. :) Yes, I'd love to give some tips! One: Always, always, always come up with the back story before beginning to write. It really does help keep a writer on track with their thoughts and how the story flows. It may change along the way of writing, though. So, to counter any loss of consistency or plot holes in the current story of the Wanderer, I wrote up a timeline for the story and wrote up part one and two for the story before posting. That way I had most of the story set the way I wanted to, and if there were any changes story wise that came along while writing it wouldn't bring in any plot holes that would have come if I had posted as I wrote the story. I came up with the idea of what would happen if a Time Lord has the Time Vortex in them. It was always said that a Time Lord would become a vengeful god. What if that came true and we actually got to see that? So, that's how I got the idea for Wanda. :) Not at all! In fact, I'd love to see what you've made! I bet it's brilliant. :D Well, I'm a very fast writer, so maybe a couple hours to a day for a 6,000-9,000 word chapter. That was usually where I limited my chapters. Though as time went on I started writing longer chapters. Hmm . . . I love writing Rory and I love watching Donna. :) Oh, yes, super excited! I can't wait to see Thirteen! Ah . . . probably not, no. :( I'm so glad you like it all. I really hope that it continues to be a good read for you throughout the future to come. :) And don't ever worry about long reviews. I love them. ;) Until next time!
LovableAmethyst129: Yep, finally! haha ;) Also, not long now. Before you even know it. ;)
Guest(c): Glad you're liking it so far! Hope that it continues to be a good read until the very end. :) And I hope to see you again soon! Take care!
Thanks again to all reviewers! Your words helped me through a long few weeks. You have no idea. So, for helping me feel better, here's a few biscuits and cakes for you all. Until next time everybody!
