We were in Officer David's office at the police station and I watched as he took out his laptop and plugged in the pen drive. Both Ash and I had curious looks on our faces as the video loaded up. David took a seat on his black rotating chair as he watched the video with extreme intensity, not taking his green eyes off of it for a second. Soon enough, the video ended, but he wasn't satisfied and ended up repeatedly playing the video over and over again.

"Can you figure anything out?" Ash asked.

David paused the video. "Not really, I'm going to have to really look at this to be able to narrow any type of clue down. But, I am glad that you guys brought this footage for me," he said looking at us. "It was good thinking." He then looked back at the screen, playing the footage again. I sighed. Whoever this person is might be overly smart for concealing his identity, but I was sure that nothing would get past David.

I smiled. "I'm sure that you'll figure out something." David returned the smile, and I saw him pausing the video and zooming in a little. The screen now showcased a big black blur, and Ash and I looked at each other and shrugged before we looked again at the screen. David then zoomed out a little and highlighted the screen a bit before I realized it was a hand-the hand of the mysterious person who slipped the note in my locker.

"Why are you looking at the hand, David?" I asked.

David sat up and turned towards Ash, patting his shoulder. "Ash, can you look closely at the hand and tell me if you see anything?" Ash seemed confused for a second or two before he just nodded and looked at the hand displayed on the screen. Ash's eyebrows raised for a second or two. "Oh...I see it."

"...See what?" I asked. Ash directed me over towards the screen and he pointed to a specific spot on the hand. I gazed at the spot before I saw a small mark on the hand. The more I stared at it, the more I made out what the mark was. A tiny, black star had been tattooed just on top of the wrist. "It's a tattoo," I said.

"Yup, and that's your clue," David said.

"My clue? This is great, but I don't know anybody that has a tattoo on their hand at school."

"Dawn, I think I know who's behind this," Ash suddenly said. "I have a good feeling." Before I could ask who Ash was thinking about, David cut in.

"How can you say that with so much certainty?" he questioned, looking at Ash.

Ash looked at David. "Because I've seen that tattoo before. And it could only belong to one person," he said, and then turned to me, with confidence in his eyes. "You know him too, Dawn." I cocked my head in confusion. "He's the same person who you caught Serena cheating on, and he's the same person who came to my birthday party with Serena."

My eyes widened in slight shock. "Clemont."

The next day at school, I decided to approach Clemont to give him a piece of my mind, but before I could do that, Ash told me to make sure that he had the very same tattoo we had seen in the video footage. Last night, I had texted May and Zoey, telling them that the person who had been threatening me with those notes and the text was Clemont. In response, they had also told me to be careful and to make sure that I see the very same tattoo on his hand.

The blonde haired teen was currently in the cafeteria, and I slyly grabbed some ketchup packets, waiting for him to turn around with his tray. After he did so, he walked over to a table, and began biting into a cheeseburger alone. I didn't hesitate and sat down in front of him. He stopped chewing, looking a bit perplexed on seeing me sit in front of him. "Oh, hey, Dawn."

I gave him a small smile (a fake smile, might I add), "Hey, Clemont. I noticed the lunch lady didn't give you ketchup packets, so I brought you some, here," I said, waiting for him to take the ketchup packets with his (hopefully) right hand. But he looked at me, raising an eyebrow.

"Thank you, but...I hate ketchup, which is why the lunch lady didn't give me those ketchup packets," he said, biting into his burger. After he swallowed, he continued. "Plus, if I wanted ketchup, I would have gotten it myself, there really was no reason for you to give me."

Oh, he's good, but he doesn't know I have another trick up on my sleeve. "You're right, but hey, thats just me being Dawn. It's one of my personality traits. You wanna know something else about me?"

"Uh...sure, I guess," he said. "But why? You've never talked to me before."

"It's good to talk to new people. Plus, you are sitting alone," I said. "Anyways, another interesting thing about me is that I can read palms and predict your future." Clemont's eyebrows raised in curiosity. "I know a lot of people don't believe in psychics and whatever, but I can guarantee that this is true. And I'll prove it to you. Give me your right hand."

He hesitated for a bit. "Right now?"

"Yes, right now," I rolled my eyes. "Come on, what have you got to lose? Whether you believe in this or not is not my problem." Clemont seemed speechless for a bit, before he finally gave me his right hand, and I grabbed it, looking at it. And, then I smiled because Ash was right. The very same tattoo was on his hand, and this was proof enough that Clemont had been threatening me this whole time. And I wasn't going to let this go. "Oh, Clemont...your future looks bleak."

His eyes displayed worry behind those square rimmed glasses. "What? It does?"

Oh, this is fun. "Yeah," I pretended to inspect his palm. "Your lines aren't long enough. And I predict that you will suffer a long, painful torturous death right after I complain about you to the principal for threatening me and when you go to jail."

Now, I smirked once he removed his hand from mine, and started to breathe heavily. "What? Cat got your tongue?" He lowered his gaze to the floor. "You're exposed, Clemont. I've had enough of this shit. I'm reporting you to the principal," I said.

Immediately he exclaimed, "No! Please don't! I want to be able to graduate with a good reputation. I won't be able to get into a good college."

I scoffed. "Does it look like I care? And if you were so concerned about getting into a good college, maybe you shouldn't have sent me those threatening messages. Do you know how stressed I am because of you? But now that you've been caught red handed, it's like a weight has been lifted off of me."

"Dawn, please," he said again, "I didn't mean to give you those messages. I didn't want to, but I had no choice."

I looked at him. His eyes looked sorrowful. Don't fall for it, Dawn, he could be faking it. "You're lying." I spat.

"I don't blame you if you think I'm lying. But I know myself when I say that I would never do this to you willingly. I wouldn't do it to anybody." he admitted.

"Then why did you?" I asked.

He looked at me about to reply but then he stopped himself short when other students were walking by. "I think we should talk somewhere else."

Clemont and I were in his rugged looking car, which was parked somewhere a block away from school. I don't know exactly why I had gotten into Clemont's car, considering he was the guy threatening me but I couldn't help but to be curious on what his ridiculous story was. Just to be cautious, I texted Ash that I was going somewhere in Clemont's vehicle. "Okay, look, just get on with your ridiculous story that I won't believe so I can report you already. If you're planning to kidnap me or something, Ash is going to kick your balls because he's watching us."

"What?! Why would you-"

"Because I don't trust you!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, fine. I understand. Look, I'm sorry for everything. I truly am, I didn't mean to add stress in your life. I just want you to know that I didn't plant the note in your locker willingly. I was told to do it."

"...You were told to do it? And you just agreed to make my life miserable?" He didn't answer. "Who told you to do this?"

"Serena," he said. "She's been paying me to do this. At first, I didn't want to because it's not who I am, and I would never want to hurt anybody. I'm a good person. But I'm going through some bad times right now, and I was helpless." I couldn't believe it. Serena had been paying him to do this the whole time. To be honest, it was expected of her, but why was she doing this? Why was she after my life? "I'm sorry."

I sighed. "I should have known." Then I added, "Why are you even going out with her? She's a terrible person. And you're a terrible person too. Not only are you aware of Serena cheating on Ash with you, but she's also paying you to do whatever she wants." I gasped in realization. "No way...she's paying you to be her boyfriend, isn't she?" The blonde teen couldn't respond, because I had narrowed everything down. "You're just as bad as she is. Both of you deserve to go to hell!"

"I'm sorry..." he croaked.

"Do not give me that bull, Clemont. I'm sick and tired of this! Why are you doing this? Why is she doing this? What have I ever done to her?"

He looked at me. "She found out that you're dating Ash now." Crap. How did she...? "It was kind of obvious, to be honest."

"Okay, this is ridiculous. Serena couldn't care less about Ash, so why does she care who he dates?"

"You don't know?" Clemont asked, a bit shocked.

I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? Do you know?" Clemont nodded.

"It's not something I should be telling you though. I think it's better if Ash told you. I don't think it's right for me to tell you." he explained.

I crossed my arms. "Ash is never going to tell me now. He's not ready." I looked at Clemont again. "Is it such a bad thing though? I've been hurt enough, surely whatever this secret is can't hurt me more than anything else, can it?"

He offered me a weak smile. "That depends on whether you trust Ash enough and how strong you are."

It was currently after four in the afternoon, and Ash was at my house to practice our dance segment for the dance competition next week. After I had told him about the conversation that Clemont and I had in his vehicle, Ash wasn't surprised that Serena was the ultimate culprit behind all of this. Now that Serena knew that we were dating, there was no hiding it. But I still wanted to know why Serena was after me ever since I came to Unova High. However, I knew that Ash wasn't ready, and I wasn't sure if whatever this secret was, would hurt me deeply. It was true that I trusted Ash, but I also wanted him to trust me.

But it was equally important to be practicing for the next dance segment. Since we had been assigned lyrical dance, we had been practicing our dance steps since the past half hour now. 'Love me like you do' was playing in the background. I was dressed in black shorts and a tank top, and was currently doing the splits, while Ash lifted me off the floor behind me. I twirled my legs a couple of times away from him, giving him enough space so I could run and he would lift me into the air. And he'd do it perfectly; the only problem was our landing. Our landing was executed poorly and I didn't need a judge to tell me that twice.

"Ok, we can do this, let's just try again," Ash told me and I nodded before I ran and jumped into the air, his hands holding me on my waist, but this time I fell onto the floor, with Ash landing on top of me. I groaned. "Are you alright?"

I nodded. "Usually I'm good at this. I'm extremely clumsy today. I can't even execute a perfect landing."

"Dawn, relax," he said. "I know you're good, everyone knows you're good at dancing. Your mind is just a bit occupied."

I nodded. "Yeah, you're right. I'm a good dancer." Then I added with a smirk, "I'm a better dancer than you are."

His lips lifted into a smirk as well, and he leaned close to me. "You've always been so confident about that," he said, his lips brushing mine for a split second. "Sometimes overconfidence isn't a good thing you know."

I laughed lightly. "That's ironic coming from you. You have an ego the size of Mt. Everest."

His smirk deepened. "You love me for it though," he said before he kissed me. Embarrassingly, I let out a small moan, which made our tongues clash together. I couldn't get enough of Ash's kisses. Every time he kissed me, I could just feel a spark inside of me and heat crawl through my entire body. I put my hands around his neck, my fingers going through his black raven hair. Ash groaned before he bit down my lip, which made me moan again. His lips then trailed from my cheek to my jawbone, and then he began to leave trails of kisses on my neck.

I gave him more access and then I gasped once he began to softly suck on a specific spot on my neck, making my hands tighten around his neck. He pressed light kisses around that spot and then kissed my collarbone. "Ash-" I somehow managed to breathe. He didn't respond, but resumed his hot kisses back up to my lips. "Ash," I said again, breathless.

"Hm?" he said before nibbling my earlobe, and I noticed his hand rubbing on my thigh now. Oh, Arceus, he didn't know what he was doing to me right now. But I knew we had to stop before we went too far.

"We should stop," I said finally before he stopped and looked back at me. His lips were swollen and his hair had been messed up. I was pretty sure I looked the same.

"You're right...sorry, I couldn't control myself. You're just too tempting."

"Tempting?" I giggled. "How am I tempting? You're just a horny perverted guy, Ash."

He smiled. "True, but I'm horny for you." He wiggled his eyebrows in suggestion. I punched his chest lightly before we sat up together. He hugged me tightly, and I heard him mumble something. "I love you."

I pulled back from the hug, eyes widened. "...What did you say?" He seemed embarrassed at first that I had heard it, but he cupped my face with his hands.

"I know it hasn't been long since we've been dating, but I don't really care. This is something I've never felt before, not with any girl other than you. I love you, Dawn." he said, looking into my eyes. He waited for a response from me, but I just didn't have the words. I was completely speechless, but I knew that I felt the same about him. "Dawn?"

"Me too," I said vaguely. He raised an eyebrow. "I love you too, Ash." He grinned in response before he kissed me lightly on my lips. After we released, I looked into his eyes and then grabbed his hand gently. "Ash, do you trust me?"

He looked at me, probably wondering why I was asking that, but he put his other hand on mine. "Of course I do."

"Good. Because I want you to know you can tell me anything you want, and...I won't ever judge you for it," I said. "I want you to know that I'll always be here with you and I'll always support you no matter what. You've helped me a lot, so I think it's fair enough for me to do the same."

He didn't say anything, but all he did was stand up, as did I. He put his hands on my shoulders. "...I think I'm ready to tell you."

My lips parted in surprise. "Tell me...what?"

He breathed. "Everything. Do you trust me?"

I caressed his face with my right palm. "Yes."

Helloooooo again all my readers. I am truly sorry for the late update, but I have been suffering from writer's block since the past couple of months or so. And that really sucks, because starting next year, my updates are going to be even slower and inconsistent. Why? Because next year I'm going to university in the US. Yup, I can't believe it myself. Anyway, I did manage to finally write out this chapter.

Though I hope this chapter satisfies you all. And yes, I did have to leave the cliff-hanger ;) I love torturing you all!

I will not guarantee a next chapter soon, but I CAN guarantee that I will try!

Love you all, and thank you for reading!

See you all next time!
