"Renewed feelings."

""So...It is true." Inuyasha huffed, as he crossed his arms and moved his gave from the brown haired girl to the table before him. He didn't think it would happen to her as well. But as the say wore on and the new moon was rising. Something in him told him to go back to find Kagome. That when he became human. She would too. And he had to just see it for himself. But as he stared at the female before him. A twinge of pain ached in his heart, making him narrow his eye at the table instead of Kagome. For looking at her now made the twinge even worst.

"what are you doing here?" Kagome thick tone made hi. Snap his gaze towards herm taking in her crossed arms and annoyed, angry, yet painful, tone and eyes making him frown.

"I came to see something." He grumbled out and stood up. "now that I saw what I needed. I will leave." He mumbled about to head for the door. When kagome's mom stood before him. Looking between him and her daughter before glancing at him again.

"you should stay. Have some tea. I'm not sure what happened to you two. But you both need to sit a d work it out." Mrs. Higurashi said in a thick tone, hands on her hips as she narrowed her eyes on the two before her. "you two used to be so close, and I don't like fighting in my house hold. Now sit and talk it out like grown ups." She said she pushed inuyasha back to his seat and glared Kagome down untill she sat down at the table.

The rest of the night went on. With Kagome and inuyasha trying to talk it out. Mrs. Higurashi sat in the middle helping to guide their talk along, though at points it kept resulting in the two of them yelling at each other and Kagome sitting inuyasha with many uses of the word idiot. After the last time. Mrs. Higurashi sighed and ribbed her forehead.

"alright! Enough of this. It seems we got no where, but at least you both now understand each other a little more, correct?" She looked to the two who nodded but looked away. She sighed again. "Alright. I see now. This is how its going to be. You two should just..."

"Kiss and make up already, would ya?" Sota said with a grin a d yawn as he came around the corner. Seeing his mothers questioning glance he shrugged. "I couldn't sleep with all the yelling" he explained. Grinning when both of the people who where fighting looked to him. "seriously. Just kiss and stop fighting. So I can sleep." Sota said pouring him self a glass of water. Said good night to his mom, winked at inuyasha and ran back up stairs.

Kagome watched him with her mouth gaped open, a blush coating her cheeks. Inuyasha eyed her, a slight pink to his own as he glanced away. Mrs.. Higurashi giggled. "Sota has a point..." She trailed off eying the two. "anyway..I say. Inuyasha, let Kagome do what she wishes. As she explained, she needs time to get back to finding herself. Now that she has a new form, her life. Has changed and she has to adapt to it. Now before you exploded In anger. Here me out. She will be safe, I can tell that already, and when she comes back to your group. She will be a stronger more beautiful women who will be able to fully help you take down this Naraku guy. Just give her space. Now Kagome, dear.." She turned to look at her daughter." Now you need to take this time to find your self and learn your new powers, but if you ever run into inuyasha, no more holding anger. He seems like he is sorry for what he did to you, you just keep holding this against him. Move on and find you, for now. And focus on only just that. Then come back when ever your ready for that final battle. You two need each other right now, so stop pushing each other way and stay together. Or do as Sota said. Kiss and make up." Mrs. Higurashi giggled as the two blushed and looked away from her and each other as she stood and placed her cup in the sink. "now. I'm going to sleep. No more fighting. Good night." She hugged her daughter good night and walked up stairs. Hoping tonight set them down the right path.

Kagome fell silent, watching her mother leave before looking at the cup she nurse in her hands. Her mom was right. It was becoming pointless to fight, and they did need each other to fight off Naraku and find the shards.

Kagome smiled lightly at the word her mom spoke though, her mother knew her so well and knew that she needed apace to find out her new self.

Kagome took a moment to glance up to find inuyasha just sitting there, staring at the wall. His gaze moving towards her when he felt her gaze looking at yim and she blushed and looked away. "look...kagome... I.." Inuyasha began then trailed off lost in thought, the. Shook his head and stood. "I wont be angry with you any more... If.. You come back. When your ready that is." He said the last part in a rush and turned his back to here. "I'm leaving now..." He said turning to leave. Kagome nodded and stood. She wasn't sure what to say, a bit shocked he was agreeing so Easily. "Kagome...?" He called out before he opened the door. Kagome paused and looked to him "yea?"

"be safe." He said with a sad look then looked back to the door. Opening it. Kagome gave a weak smile. "I will. I promise."

"good. I don't feel like killing sesshomaru right now if he ever hurt you. ." Inuyasha mumbled and turned to leave. Kagome watched him with a sad smile, as she cleaned up for bed. She found her self feeling in a better mood then she had since the first morning she found herself in a new form, and fell to sleep rather quickly.
