So after posting that chapter I noticed my computer corrected one of the words I posted so it should be different this time. Also hope you enjoy.

Chapter 7

/Now/

Naruto stood up holding his head. All he could hear was screams and the ringing in his ears. Looking around Naruto saw some of his men on the ground either dead or wounded. The ones that were able to fight, were hiding behind the column of tanks and trying to get a shot on the merc's on the rooves of the buildings around them. Naruto then picked up his weapon and started shooting at all of the people he saw on the buildings around. After picking off a few Naruto ran to a group huddled against a tank.

Getting against the tank Naruto looked at one of them. "Who's in charge of your squad?" Naruto asked him while shouting. "I am sir." "Good bring your squad with me. We are going to take off some heat." Naruto then got up and started crouch running towards a building across the street. Right behind him was the soldier he talked to tapping the shoulders of the men in his squad. One after another they started following them into the building. Naruto then turned to them.

"Before we do this what are your names." The men then lined up. Then they started listing off their names. It started with the squad leader, the support, the engineer, and then the recon. "Names Mike, Buck, Sal, and Ajax." Naruto nodded. "My names Naruto." He then shook their hands. "Let's go." They then took off up the stairs. When they got to the roof Buck was the first through the door. Letting his machine gun rip, merc's started to fall all over the roof. They then set up a position and started a firefight on the rooves.

After an hour of making no ground Naruto got on the battle net at call for support. "Any available gunships in the area this is Titan Wolf 0-1. I need an attack run on the red smoke." He then peeked over the edge of the roof and started firing at some of the mercs in the street and threw some smoke on the rooves where all of the mercs were.

"Titan Wolf 0-1 this is Zeus 1-1. Zeus unit is moving in now. Take cover. Over and out." A female voice responded to his call for help. Naruto then heard rotors cutting through the air. He looked behind him and saw six super cobra attack choppers flying right towards them. As they flew over all hell broke loose. The lead chopper had a sharks grin with a black body and was providing close air support while the other five started clearing the area. He then jumped down from the roof onto a Humvee. He got his squad together and some more men in another Humvee. "Let's move we have to get to the mansion." The two vehicles then sped off with Zeus 1-1 following above them. Half way there an armored wagon came out of one of the alley ways into the middle of the road. All of the cannon turrets swiveled towards them.

Naruto was about to tell Zeus 1-1 to take them out but she was already firing at it. Naruto then cut through another alley way and onto another street and continued to the Mansion. After five minutes of intense driving Naruto was closing in on the gate to the Mansion when AA fire started coming from the roof. He then rammed through the gate. "Mayday mayday this is Zeus 1-1. I am going down, I repeat I am going down." Naruto looked up and saw her chopper spinning and heading towards the mansion. He then looked at his Squad. "We have to get to her before those mercs do." They nodded and loaded up and more ammo. He then saw her chopper hit the roof of the mansion. He sped up and rammed through the front doors. The other Humvee followed and they got out after stopping in the foyer. They all then got out and started up the building. "Spread out, take out the mercs, capture Gato."

/on the roof/

Slowly pulling her way out of the now wrecked gunship. She pulled out her MACHT 37 and moved quickly to the gunner's seat. When she opened up the canopy she saw a piece of metal jammed into her co-pilots chest. She reached in and started to shake his shoulder. "James. JAMES! Answer me." He weakly looked up at her. His visor was cracked and showing one of his eyes. "Sophie… get outta… here! Go!" was all James said while gurgling on his blood. She then saw the life fading from his eyes. When his eyes gained a glossy tone she just reached in, collected his dog tags and extra ammo then went to find somewhere to hide. She started to hear voices on the roof top so she quickly hide behind a stack of crates, and building supplies. The voices started to move past her onto the chopper before one of the mercs noticed a small trail of blood leading right to her.

So using her skills she learned during survival training, she popped up and started to shoot at the mercs. She caught two off guard and hit another in the arm. She then ducked down and took cover. She then grabbed her pistol and fired blindly over the crate she hide behind. She heard someone call for back up. 'I'm going to die up here. I'm really going to die.' Her thoughts were cut off as an explosion rocked the building. "What the hell was that?" she heard one of the mercs yell. "I don't know. Toss a grenade at the bitch and let's go check." Her only answer to his statement was a grenade rolling at her feet. She quickly kicked it away and hide behind another crate. She then heard them running to the roofs exit.

With them gone she quickly scramble up and was going to leave for the stairs before she notice her MACHT 37 bent and in pieces. She then pulled out her pistol and continued on her way towards the exit. As she made it to the stairs she heard more voices so she prepared an ambush. She climbed up on top of the roof exit and waited. When the footsteps were right under her she jumped onto the first person out the door. What she didn't realize was that the person was wearing heavy armor and ended up straddling his waist. She just looked down at the helmetless head. A blond that had three whisker marks on each cheek. "Well hello there. Nice to see you're alive." He then sat up. "You mind getting up? We do have a schedule to keep." He then heard a large groaning sound come from the mountains on the island. He then reached up to his ear. "Command is there anything in the mountains to my north west. I'm hearing a loud groaning sound." He pause for an answer. "Titan Wolf 0-1 the cloud cover is too great in that area we have no eyes. Good luck." The ground then started to shake. "Command I need a chopper here for evac. I don't think it will be good otherwise." "Roger chopper is a minute out." Naruto just stared at the mountains before a giant red scaled hand grabbed onto a mountain and pulled a large creature with it. As the chopper hovered over the roof, Naruto just sat there staring at the beast. He turned to the chopper. "Order a retreat right now. Evacuate everyone. He then ran off to face the monster.

/Sahelanthropus/

One of the tech engineers that was checking on Sahelanthropus suddenly started running as the Metal Gear started moving. Walking towards the doors, Sahelanthropus pulled his fist back and launched it forward ripping the doors off their very thick hinges and pistons. Before the doors hit the ground Sahelanthropus started running towards the ocean. The ocean not being very deep compared to the huge metal gear, offered very little resistance to the legs moving through it.

In an hour of running sahelanthropus was within sight of the fleet and just kept running. As he was passing the fleet many of the people stared at the massive Metal Gear as he ran towards the battlefield. As he neared the slaughter he started scanning for Naruto. Once picking up his signal, sprinted towards it. He found Naruto shooting rockets at the beast in front of him. Sahelanthropus saw the beast reared back its arm for a strike aimed at Naruto. Thinking quickly Sahelanthropus ran and picked up Naruto while backhanding the monster and putting Naruto inside of the cockpit. He then jumped back and brought out both of his swords.

Naruto sat in the cockpit just sat watching as Sahelanthropus prepared to fight. Looking around the cockpit, Naruto saw a button with the word fire on it. Naruto not waiting for the fight to start hit the button and felt the metal gear shift. Suddenly dozens of missiles came from behind the screen and flew towards the beast. Slamming into its face smoke covered the body. Then out of nowhere the creatures hand reached out and grabbed Sahelanthropus by the face and flung him toward the mountains. As soon as Sahelanthropus landed he was tackled by the creature. Naruto then got on the coms. "Can anyone tell me what the hell that thing is? It's kicking our asses." He got static for his answer. Hearing the creaking of metal giving way he was suddenly pulled from the cockpit and thrown away from the battle heading straight for the docks. He pulled some of Kurama's chakra around him to soften the impact. Hitting a crane he was knocked out from the landing.

Sahelanthropus seeing his pilot get ripped out and thrown away, grew very angry. He jumped away, and crouched while lowering his rail gun. Looking at the monster that hurt Naruto and destroyed his cockpit, Sahelanthropus mentally smirked while charging up the rail gun. Firing the rail gun rock him a tiny bit but decimated the creatures left arm. Seeing the damage, Sahelanthropus Charged forward with sword in hand and started hacking hat the creatures thick skin.

As the battle raged naruto propped himself up the assess the damage. He look down. Where his right arm was supposed to be was a bloody stump, his legs had compound fractures, and he had a pipe going through his lower abdomen. Looking up he saw Sahelanthropus punch the monster and break a horn. The monster roared in pain. The creature reared back its head and started gagging. It started coughing up a black substance. Throwing its head forward it spat the substance on the Metal Gear.

As soon as the bile hit it started slowing Sahelanthropus down. With creaking joints and sluggish movements Sahelanthropus squatted and leaned forward. Vents opened and ports closed. A giant fireball covered the area! Goo dropped off of the metal behemoth, splashing the earth bellow. Reaching behind, he grabbed a handle and started pulling… revealing a short blade.

Holding it out just enough for it to glint in the fading sun it violently extended. Sparks and a loud screech pierced the sky.

With a quick swing the beast lost another arm. Howling in pain the creature fell back. Sahelanthropus then jumped into the air before spearing the monster to the ground. Pulling the monster up he then dropped it before stomping on its head, shattering the skull and sending brain matter and blood everywhere.

Once seeing the job done Sahelanthropus looking towards Naruto's location. Seeing him on top of a crane he walked over. After reaching Naruto he held his hand up for Naruto to crawl on to.

Naruto then pulled himself onto the open hand. Seeing he was on, Sahelanthropus made is way to the staging area. As he was walking Naruto was looking up at the destroyed cockpit. Sparks flew everywhere. A small fire was coming from the view screen. Hearing a chopper, he looked in the direction. A Blackfoot with a spotlight was coming towards them. Waving them down, the spotlight shined bright on the two disfigured figures. Slowly Sahelanthropus's hand moved up so the chopper could pick up the blonde. Coming in close a pair of medics jumped out and walked to the downed boy.

Slowly picking him up the moved him to the troop hold. After setting him on the seats they started gaining in altitude. As they pulled away Sahelanthropus started forward. Gradually gaining speed, the chopper and the metal gear made their way to the strike group near the local hospital.

Once arriving the helo set down onto the room while Sahelanthropus squatted in the courtyard.

/ 9 hours later /

Snake gazed through the viewing glass of an operating room. Staring at the broken form of his grandson. After the doctors put the bones back in place Kurama started mending the skin, muscle, and bone back together. While she couldn't help his arm, she could fix any problems the doctors couldn't. His spine was cracked and his ribs were smashed. While he is healing it would take another five hours before everything was in the clear.

Walking out of the room, Snake started walking around. After all the stuffiness in that room he needed to breathe. Opening the door to the stairwell, he made his way to the roof. Walking through the door he pulled out his i-droid. After scrolling he hit call.

"Hello?" An annoyed voice answered. "Ocelot I need you to make a prosthetic arm for me!" Snake replied. "Why, what happened?" There was concern in his voice. "N-naruto is missing his right arm. It was torn off at the elbow!" There was a pause. After hearing Ocelot sigh he answered. "I'll get started right away. You just watch over him I'll be there tomorrow afternoon." He then hung up on Snake. Shaking his head he walked to the side of the building. As he approached he stared at the disfigured metal gear.

Sparks shot randomly around the destroyed cockpit. That would take some time to fix. Turning around he started for the door. Halfway to it though he looked up… what he saw confused him.

A black shape was falling towards him. Before he moved the thing hit him. From the groans of pain it must have been people.
