Manta hummed happily to myself as he walked down the street leading to his apartment. It had been just over a week since he and Yoh had kissed. So for it had been wonderful. From that morning after the kiss, where he woke up in Yoh arms to the kiss they had shared together just this morning. He had spent a goon part of the week at the Inn but insisted that he had to get back to his own place. Yoh had seemed bit dejected at the thought of Manta leaving. (Amidamaru teasing saying it was because Yoh would end starving without Manta's cooking.) Now it was Thursday and he was walking home from work.

Though Manta was still a little uneasy about the whole thing. Though mostly it was about his own insecurities. Why would Yoh kiss him? Why would Yoh want to be with him? There was nothing special about him. He was short, had little money, he had no special talents. Aside from being ale to see ghosts. He tried his best not to let it get to him. So he just continued to hum and enjoy the early summer weather.

Soon he reached his apartment and headed inside. The first thing he did was check his phone for messages. Manta hated that he couldn't afford a cellphone. Instead he had to settle for a simple home phone. But it was cheaper.

"You have three new messages." The automated voice said after Manta pushed the button on the machine. The first message played.

"Hello Manta," Hoshi-san's voice sang through the speaker. "I'm calling to let you know that you won't have to come in this weekend. There was a problem with a water pipe and a short circuit with the electricity. So to put it simply you have the weekend off along with all the other employes. Have a fun weekend!"

Manta rolled his eyes at the suggestive tone his gave when he said "Have a fun weekend".The next message played.

"Yo Manta! Guess who?" Shu's voice rang out. "Did you hear we got the weekend off? We so need to get together and go check out the other clubs. You can bring that stalker of yours! Call me!"

Manta smiled at that. It might be fun to go out with Shu and Yoh. Shu would more than likely bring a date with him too. Then the final message played.

"Manta I need you to call me back as soon as possible!" Mannoko's voice rang out in more excitement then Shu's had in his message.

Manta looked at the clock, it was just past six. His family were more than likely having dinner right now. If he was to call their father would find out they were still in touch. Now that would not end well for anyone. He waited about an hour before calling. Mannoko had her own cell phone so he didn't have to worry about anyone else answering.

"About time you called!" Mannoko's voice rang out. "I've been waiting for hours."

"Well hi to you too." Manta chuckled. "What do you need?"

"Do you know what next month is?" Manta thought for a moment.

"June."

"Yes, and?"

"When it starts getting hotter?" Manta smirked, he knew what his sister was getting at.

"Okay that's just mean!" She huffed though the phone. Manta laughed.

"Next month is your birthday."

"Yes and summer break from school." Mannoko snickered. "And have I got news!"

"What are you talking about?" Manta asked.

"Next moth, both Father and Mother are going to be way for two whole weeks."

"Wait," Manta gasped. "Their just leaving you home alone?"

"No, and here the best part. Mother was going to send me to some lame camp for most of the summer but the pace called and canceled."

"Don't tell me, you didn't tell them."

"Not a word." Mannkok confirmed giggling.

"So whats you plan? You can't just stay home the whole time their away." Mannoko gave an exaggerated sigh.

"That's why am calling you. I'll stay the whole summer with you. The camp sent back the money Mother had sent so we can spend it on whatever we want."

Manta thought for a moment. He didn't like the idea have using the money, wouldn't it be considered stealing? But the thought of spending time with Mannoko would be great. The two hardly saw each other since he moved out.

"Well," Manta smiled as he gave his decision. "Then we better go somewhere then, out of town, somewhere we can go to festivals and shopping."

Silence came from over the line, but was soon filled with excited giggles.

"I like it!" Manta could practically see his sister smiling. "I'll keep up the whole 'excited about camp thing' so they don't find out."

"Just don't over do it. I'll see what we can do this summer."

"Got it!" With that the two siblings bid each other goodbye.

Manta sat on the edge of his bed and began to think. Mannoko would be out of school for summer in less then a month he had that long to look for a place for them to go so their father would not find out they had lied. But were could they go that they would not be found. Manta let out a frustrated groan as he flopped backwards on his bed. If only his father wasn't so difficult! He let out another groan and stood to get ready for bed.

Two days later on Saturday Manta still had no ideas. Out of frustration he let his head fall onto the table in front of him with a loud, ''Thunk''.

"Uh...Manta?" The blonde gave a small grunt in response. "You okay?"

Manta raised his head slightly and saw his recently acquired boyfriend staring at him, a mixed look of concern and confusion. Manta had come over on Friday after work to spend the weekend since he had no work at the club. They both sat on the floor by the large table in the middle of the living room. The TV. playing in the background.

The two were killing time until they had to meet Shu to go hang out around the city. Yoh had been more then happy to go out with Manta, even if there were going to be other people around.

Manta let out a frustrated sigh as he raised his head up enough to rest his chin on the edge of the table. "I just have a few thing on my mind."

"Like what?" Yoh asked as he slid closer, slipping his hand into Manta's and giving it a squeeze. Manta gave a squeeze in return along with a smile.

"It's nothing. What time is it, we have to meet Shu at eight." Manta looked at the clock and saw it was almost time for them to leave. "We should get going."

The two got up, Yoh, still holding Manta's hand, pulled his lover up and kissed him softly on the lips. The blonde smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Yoh neck pulling him closer, deepening the kiss. One of Yoh arms wrapped around the shorter boys waist pulling him close, the other worked its way under Manta's shirt.

Manta tensed at the touch and pulled away, reluctantly, not looking Yoh in the eye. "We need to get going."

Yoh gave a small nod, though he was tempted to keep going, but he knew Manta was still shy about anything more than kissing. Soon the two were out the door and headed to the train station. It took then a few minutes but they eventually found Shu.

"Hey guys!" Shu shouted as he ran over to the other two, dragging behind him another man. "I was wondering when you would get here."

"We would have been here sooner," Yoh smiled. "But Manta couldn't keep his hands of me."

"Oh, well can't blame him there!" Shu said and laughed at Manta's blushing face. Then gestured to the man next to him. "This is Hachiro Toriyama, he's that guy I was with when you got in that creeps face at the club. You know, when you got the shit-"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah! I know!" Manta did not need Shu to remember that encounter or the ones before and after it. "It's a pleasure to meet you Toriyama-san."

"Please call me Hachi." The man replied. He was tall, with jet black hair and amazing blue eyes

After the introductions were through, though Shu insisted he and Yoh needed a formal interdiction to which he just sad: "Yoh Asakura, Shu Ichikawa. Now lets GO!" The group got on a train and left the station. In no time at all they were hitting the bars and dance clubs.

"So," Shu looked at Manta with a drink in his hand and a smirk on his face. The two were sitting at a booth in a dance club waiting for the others to brings more drinks. The music blaring and multi colored lights shined from every which way. "I thought you and Yoh weren't even friends."

"Yeah, well we made up." Manta replied blushing a bit.

"Obviously. So you guys went from stalker and stalked to boyfriends?"

"Pretty much." Manta laughed, remembering when he had called Yoh a stalker.

"Oh that is so hot! Did you guys do it yet?"

"...No."

"Why?" Shu exclaimed, some how managing to sound louder then the music. Thankfully no one noticed. "Do you even want to?"

"Yes!" Manta replied back then blushed heavily."I just..."

Shu looked closely at Manta's face. He let out a sigh when he found what he was looking for. Though Shu had only known Manta for a couple of years, he could see right into Manta's problem.

"So your worried about him seeing them are you." Shu stated, drinking that last of what was in his glass. "I doubt he'll freak out all that much. If anything he'll just dote on you more."

"He might find it weak." Manta slumped down in his seat.

"You are such a pessimist."

Before Manta could say anything the other two boys returned. The conversation wasn't brought up again until an hour later at the next spot they went to. This one was somehow louder than the last one. Tons of bodies filled the dance floor as music played. By now Shu had gotten a bit tipsy and Manta was right behind him.

"Another!" Shu and Manta yelled in union. Yoh and Hachi smiled awkwardly.

"I think you two have had enough." Yoh chuckled.

"Well I say I want another!" Shu slammed his glass on the bar then the songs changed and Shu went crazy. He began pulling at Manta's arm."Come dance with me!"

"I hate dancing.". Manta yelped as he was puled out to the floor.

"Yeah but you rock at it!" Shu yelled. "Show Yoh, make him want you!"

"Shu-"

"Quite being a coward! He won't care, so dance!"

Manta looked at Shu, he knew he was talking about more than the dancing. A smirk spread across Manta's face. "Oh, I'll dance." Was all he said before he went over to the DJ.

"Hey!"

"Yeah?" The man called over the music.

"Play something...sexy."
