I have nothing to say except I'm sorry. I have not had much of a chance to do much writing. I hope everyone, if any, of my readers will wait for me and know I will try my best to get this story finished. So please enjoy this chapter.

A shrill beeping sound caused Manta to groan and reached out to turn off his alarm clock. He felt around for the annoying thing but just couldn't seem t find it. Finally he was forced to lift his head and saw he was not in his apartment. It took him a couple of minuets to remember what had happened the night before. When he did, his face turned a light shade of pink. Manta shook the thoughts from his mind for the moment and set about going to see what the noise was about.
After quickly putting one of Yoh large white shirts on, the only thing he could find, he followed the sounds to the kitchen. There he found nothing but blackness. Mostly because the room was filled with thick black smoke.
"What the hell!" Manta choked out, waving his hand, in vain, to rid some of the some. He started to make his way to where he thinks the window was. The shrill beeping now making sense.
"Man-ta?" Came Yoh's own choked voice. "Where are you?"
Manta reached the window and pushed it open. Taking in lungfuls of fresh air as most of the smoke flew out. After a several minutes the smoke cleared enough for Manta to see Yoh by the stove a spatula in hand and a smoldering pan in front of him on the stove top.
"Uh...," Yoh gave a sheepish smile and gave a small wave with the spatula. "Morning!"
Manta gave a small laugh. "Morning."
Then set about stopping that annoying beeping. He grabbed a plate and started to fan around the smoke detector. His small height making him have to reach up higher to fan away the smoke, causing the shirt he was waring to rise up and a sharp pain to course through his lower back. When the beeping finally stopped he turned to see Yoh just staring at him. This kind of annoyed Manta as he could have used the shamans help.
"What?" Yoh smirked at him. This made Manta uneasy. "What?"
Yoh pointed at the blonde, his smirk widening. "Your not waring anything under that."
It took Manta less then a second to understand what he was talking about. And even less time to turn red, with both embarrassment and anger.
"Well next time instead of looking you could help me!" He yelled angrily.
"Then I would have missed the view," You grinned at the gawking blonde and continued talking. "But I got one hell of a showing last night."
This of course got Manta to blushed harder, and he covered his face with the plate he was still holding. Yoh laughed and walked over to his blushing boyfriend. Wrapping his arms around him and, after moving the plate to the counter, placed a kiss on top his head. Manta not being able to resist leaned into the embrace and gave a content sigh.
"What were you doing cooking?" Manta asked when they had separated.
"I was trying to cook." Yoh replied. Manta looked over at the..whatever Yoh was cooking. Then back to Yoh.
"But you can't cook."
"I said trying."
Manta rolled his eyes and went to cleaning up the mess. He ended up having to throw the pan away, the remains of the "food" too burnt on to salvage the pan. In no time Manta had food cooking and Yoh made sure to stay out of the way. The morning passed by peacefully after words, until Yoh started to get handsy when Manta was doing the dishes. It ended with the shaman being made to do the drying.
It was later in the day, and Amidamaru had finally popped up. Now they were just lazing in the TV room. Manta was only paying half attention to what was playing, his mind elsewhere. He still had not come up with anything for him and Mannoko to do this summer, he also wanted Yoh to come with them to whatever they would plan. He was brought out of his thoughts by a hand waving in front of his face and a voice calling out his name.
"Manta?" Yoh called. "You okay? You spaced out again"
"Yeah just thinking"
"About what?"
The blonde gave a sigh. "Well mine and Mannoko's parents are going out of town and she was supposed to leave for some camp, but that got canceled. So she called me and wants to spend the summer and her birthday together, and I want you to come along to, but I have no idea where we could go that dad doesn't have business partners or some kind of contacts."
Yoh was silent through out Manta's explanation, his hand resting on top of Manta's. When The blonde had finished he said nothing for a second them put his own two cents in.
"Why not come with my to my families home?" Manta looked at his lovers in slight shock.
"Uh...isn't it a bit early for me to meet the parents?" This got a laugh out of Yoh.
Yoh rolled his eyes. "You guys want to go somewhere for the summer and there's a festival in the summer near my home every summer. You and Mannoko would have a lot of fun there."
Manta thought it over. It sounded like the perfect idea, and he was sure Yoh was right and Mannoko would love it too. Manta smiled.
"I love it!" Manta exclaimed. "Mannoko will too once I tell her we're going to- where dose your family live?"
"They live in Izumo."
Later that night Manta called Mannoko to tell her the news.
"So going to meet the future in-laws early huh?" Mannoko teased.
"Very funny. So what do you say, you up for the trip?"
"Yes, yes, yes!" Mannoko cheered. Then quickly quieted down so no one would hear her. On the other end of the phone Manta laughed.
"Glad you like the idea. Now try to keep the excitement down so Mom and Dad don't get suspicious." Manta instructed. "If they find out we're both dead."
"I will, I will" Mannoko replied. She then gave an excited squeak. " Oh this is going to be so fun!"
For a while to two siblings talked. They talked of their plans for the summer. Of what was going on in their lives and anything in between. Both unaware that someone was listening in on both of them. On one end, the eavesdropper looked on with a fond smile. The other, one who could threaten everything.
