I've updated! Are you shocked? So am I. I cannot believe I haven't updated for so long! My little plot bunny went on Holiday...So I fired him-And hired a new one. *holds up a fluffy, grey bunny* =D Unfortunately, he's not a fan of long chapters.._ *beat* Anyway, please accept a Legolas plushie as my apology. *holds up a handful* Unless you'd prefer a chocolate cookie..*holds up a tray in her other hand*
Anyway, you're probably considering throwing rotten fruit at me due to my not updating-So I'm gonna run and hide before you do. *puts the plushies and the cookies on the floor and runs off*

A quiet moan was the first sign that the Prince was returning to consciousness. Almost immediately, a Healer was by his side.
"Legolas? Have you returned to us?" The Healer gently asked as he placed a cool hand on his patient's forehead. Feeling the soothing touch, Legolas forced his eyes open, only to shut them almost immediately after.
"The light, Beliel." He murmured softly. He heard the gently swish of the Elleth's dress, followed by the creak of a shutter being closed.
"Legolas, you may open your eyes again."
A few seconds passed before the Prince did so. He slowly blinked, clearing the darkness from his vision.
"How long have I been asleep?" He asked, watching as Beliel picked up a small jug.
"For a little while." She responded as she poured some tea into a cup. "How do you feel?" she asked quietly.
"A little sore- I have a headache, but that is the worst of it." He responded as he attempted to sit up. A sharp pain through his arm however, caused him to fall back. Taking a deep breath, he attempted to move his arm again only to find he could not raise it from his chest. With a frown, he tried again. Seeing his struggle, the elleth reached out to place a hand on his shoulder.
"We have bound your wrist tightly in place- we did not want you to move it in your sleep, and injure yourself further. I shall unbind it for you in due time." She explained, helping him to carefully sit up. As she passed him the cup of tea, Legolas frowned once more.
"Beliel- how long have I been asleep? Exactly?" He asked again. The elleth sighed, before sitting down in a small armchair beside him.
"It has been almost three days, My Lord. However, I only returned home from Imladris yesterday- I was not here when poor Celegon apparently carried you all the way here from your Adar's Study."
Legolas laughed softly.
"Poor Celegon- he must have been so terribly stressed."
"I'm afraid he has potentially gone mad in the last few days. He has been attempting to remain by your side and to keep the Kingdom from ruin- all without sleep or food." Beliel explained." I sent him to bed a few hours ago, when I caught him attempting to use his goblet of wine instead of ink to write a letter." She joked, prompting a laugh from the Prince. Beliel laughed as well, before getting to her feet.
"Now, I think I shall fetch some food for you. If you are lucky, I may be able to find you a blackberry tart-"
A sharp, breathless coughing fit from behind her caused her to turn around.
"Legolas?" She rushed back over to him. The Prince tried to respond, but found that he could not find the air to speak. Another fit of coughs took over, as he Beliel reached out to grasp his him by the shoulders.
"Legolas! Try and breathe!" She directed, concern flooding her. Legolas tried to do as instructed, but found his lungs unresponsive. As his vision began to blur, he felt Beliel release him. He could faintly hear her calling out for help, as his vision once more turned to darkness.

When Thranduil had finished explaining everything, Estel shook his head in disbelief.
"I admit, my Lord, that I cannot believe that this was entirely your idea. I could understand if it was Legolas who had formed this plan, but you…." His voice trailed off, as Thranduil laughed softly.
"Estel, do not forget that I am his father." He replied. When Estel looked at him in confusion, he rolled his eyes.
"I too, was once a youth. I was not born with a crown upon my head. Like my Son, I too was once full of mischief and trouble. Though you may not believe me, I was once exactly as Legolas is now."
Estel shook his head again.
"I'm sorry, Lord Thranduil, it is just that I could never imagine you running around, causing grief and trouble just as Legolas does. That is harder to imagine than…"
"…Having Estel return from a simple hunt, injury and illness free." Elrohir piped up, wistfully. He ducked as the human sent a small rock flying towards his head, while Elladan snickered.
"You wait, Elrohir-You'll pay for that." Estel warned, glaring at his brother. This only earned him a laugh from the twin
"Oh, my dear Estel- That's what you think."
