Leon

Leon was leaning against the helicopter awaiting patiently with Sonya. The weather was torrid and humid, quite odd for the placid weather they usually have. The male has been staring at his lover with soft eyes, as she waited anxiously. Sonya was never the patient type. He loved the way she tried to act calm and collected, but her fidgeting said otherwise.

"Babe, calm down you're gonna burst." the male joked to his lover. Sonya just gave a middle finger as a response. Leon just walked over to her, giving a gentle smirk and placing a sweet kiss on her forehead.

"Ewe, that kiss was a wet one!" Sonya shouted irritated to an extent. The male rolled his eyes playfully, hands still on her hips. As he seen Avery run in the distance, to the chopper. "Nice of you to join us!" Leon released his lover, as she shouted this to the youngest of the three.

Avery smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry guys." Avery ran to the pilot's side of the helicopter as she turned it on. Leon and Sonya hopped in the back as they took off.

Piers

The male had adjusted his hoody after he set off the bomb. People where screaming everywhere. Ataxia. That was the word to use. No control. None. The male was sick to his stomach, fully aware of his actions. A nearby lady grabbed Piers, "Please, help me." she managed to utter out.

"No one can be saved." his voice chillingly monotonous. Piers grabbed the lady by her hiair, throwing her into a recently infected. He was internally disgusted by his actions. Hearing her cries for help almost made him throw up...almost. Piers sidestepped the massacre in front of him and continued on his way.

Leon

The hot Nevada sun was reflecting off of Avery's black sunglasses as she piloted the chopper. Leon and Sonya were readying their guns in the back as Avery was getting ready to land. "Lading in fifteen seconds." she spoke into the headset that all of them wore.

"Copy." Sonya replied, as Avery landed.

The trio made their way out of the chopper ten miles away from the facility. The air was moistureless, land barren. It was eerily quiet the vegetation in the area being a lonesome cactus, a few feet away from the helicopter. Leon cleared his throat looking to his female counterparts, "Alright, we will walk in a straight line of formation, I take lead, Sonya you take the back and Avery in the middle." He stopped for a brief moment loading his hand gun, "When being attacked we will take a triangular form, I take point, Sonya you are back right and Avery back left. We keep formation at all costs."

Sonya rolled her eyes in a playful manner, "Okaaay, Ace. I've been working with you for how long now?" Leon scoffed, and began to walk away. "He's a stick in the mud at times. Aye, when we extract the survivors they stay in the middle of our formation." Avery nodded. She loaded her hand gun up herself catching up with Leon to stay behind him. He made an abrupt stop, pulling out binoculars glassing the carnage before them. Avery anxious, bumped into Leon. He smiled gently at this, knowing she was more than nervous on her very first mission. This was just another day at work for both he and Sonya. Ten miles away exactly. The rugged sand blowing in loose swirls, seemingly to make the air dryer. There was segments of metal from an explosion within the facility and small fires. Tracings of smoke filling the sky. He saw what he could. Looking for any movement. Nothing. He lowered the binoculars, and motioned for the two to follow. Sonya and Avery were his only priority at the moment.

Making their way inside was painless. The infected walked around aimlessly around the recent debris. Leon put his hand up on a fist, motioning his counterparts to stop and get in formation. They followed. Leon easily took out the infected with a bullet to the skull. Avery stood in shock, seeing the zombie had no fear...it shook her nonetheless.

"Great shot Ace. Five points!" Sonya teased. Leon grinned as a response. Sonya sported her combat knives in her hands, hating guns. Usually, using them only when necessary. She felt there was no honor in them. "Scottie~"

The male scoffed, his usual response to her antics, "What is it?"

"Let's play a game."

"Okay Saw, what is it?" he joked, Avery laughed. Finding these two humorous. It amazed her that the President's right hands were as comical and sweet as they come.

"Soo, the game is marked by "cool points". Our referee for this game will be Avery~ cool points can be earned from different kills, how they are executed, catchphrases, excetra."

Leon nodded, "Sounds intriguing, what's the prize?"

Sonya crosses her arms, "Whatever the winner wants."

"I'm in."

The trio had walked into the room with caution. There was blood everywhere. Sonya stood in the door, being the backup always. The overseer and protector. It was the main conference room. A huge metal table for meetings to be held. Computers across the room held sensitive information from alien sightings to the events of 9/11...even of Racoon City. Leon pulled out his flash drive plugging it in. He was fairly great with hacking. Avery watched closely observing her superior in action. He was soooooo cool to her. The young female's eyes wandered to Sonya. She held her handgun in her left hand, and her battle knife in the right. The older woman was quieter than usual, concentrating on keeping the two safe. Avery's eyes continued to wander even further, a lonesome body on the floor. Burt to a crisp and sodden with water to not create a fire she supposed. The smell was horrific.

"And done." was all Leon said, pulling out the flash drive.

Sonya turned to Leon, "About time dammit." smiling, looking to Avery, "You're awfully silent~"

"I- um, I'm just nervous is all. Plus, I'm working with you both, you guys are legends and it's just like a "wow" factor. I just don't want to mess up..." the young female rubbed the back of her head with her hand, giving a weak smile.

Sonya laughed, "We're regular people and we don't bite. I promise~ I mean Ace can be a neat freak at times and fold his underwear...like who does that? Spawn of Satan himself I tell you." Leon turned wide-eyed, slightly embarrassed but brushed it off. Avery giggled, looking to him.

"It's true. I often try to get her to do it too but she won't."

"Yeah bro, because who does that?"

They eventually did find the group of survivors. Their room of choice to hold up in...wait for it...a janitors closet. The room was small and crammed enough with the equipment, now the four survivors plus the three saving them. Talk about a Jill Sandwich.

"My name is Leon Scott Kennedy and my colleges Sonya and Avery. We was sent by the B.S.A.A. to rescue you all."

Author's Note Please Read: I'm not dead I promise. I am very well alive. This chapter is a cop out, I promise to make more action scenes but I have trouble writing them.. something I need to work on. I got lazy at the end as you can tell. This chapter was to help me get back into the swing of things. I think. I'm not consistent unfortunately. *shrugs* Granted, I do have some more or less in the beginning of this but it's brief. I hate writing action scenes. But, it's like..how can you have a Resident Evil fic without it XD . I dunno I like action, reading it but I hate writing it. I'm weird.

Stern, please notice me senpai *cries* I hope you didn't forget about me. I know it's been like an entire year since I posted, but your comments gave me life and the motivation to keep writing. I now dedicate this story to you honestly, even if you don't continue to read it lol.

Please review and favorite. Your suggestions, comments, questions will only make me better. Well, until next time.

P.S. I'm not sorry for that Jill Sandwich joke. XD
