Tortured Angels
Dwean!" Castiel cried from Gabriel's arms. Dean could just see the fearful tears running down the baby angel's cheeks. "Dwean!" the far away sob screamed.
"Don't leave each other alone!" he shouted after them, remembering Castiel's nightmare. Dean let out a breath only to be smacked against the head. He gasped in pain, rolling off of Andrea. Another Demon stood over him. This one was male and not one that Dean recognized. It smiled down at him before glancing in the direction of the angels currently running away.
"The chase is on," he hissed before smacking Dean in the head with an iron rod and dashing after the angels with Andrea at his side. Dean tried to pick himself up to go after them, but all he could see was a black fog rolling over his vision.
"Don't...leave each other a...alone..." Dean gasped, hoping that they had heard. His eyes fluttered closed as the darkness finally took over. The last thing he heard was the screaming of angels.
Continued now...
Dean sat in the cold dark cavern wrapped in chains and blood drooling from his mouth. Next to him was his brother and Bobby looking just as beat up as he did. In Bobby's lap was their pet hellhound. The old hunter had his chained hands pressed against the wound in Custos' abdomen and the bone striking out through the muscle and skin just below the shoulder blade. The angels? Dean hoped that they had made it out alive. There had been no sign of them in the cavern so the hunters just hoped and prayed.
"Got them!" Andrea called from the entrance to the cavern. The demon watching the team looked up and smiled cruelly as three demons and Andrea strolled inside, carrying the angels in their arms. Dean's heart snapped at the sight of the angels. Balthazar's silver wing was bent in one too many wrong angles and blood was coating his face. Castiel had a river of blood running from his hair line down to drip off his chin and his whitish-grey skin was flecked with scratches and dark purple bruises. Gabriel had a long slash against his leg and his wings were so bloody Dean knew for a fact the blood wasn't all from the demons.
"Lord Crowley will be pleased," the demon that had been guarding them chuckled.
"Speaking of…" the demon holding Balthazar butted in. "We should begin before he gets wind and decides to take all the fun for himself." The demons nodded and Andrea grabbed a white piece of chalk, scribbling strange characters and symbols into the dirt in the very center of the cavern. Dean struggled fiercely against his chains, feeling the metal cut into his flesh. The demon holding Cas looked up at him, catching Dean's eye. Dean gritted his teeth together and watched as the fucking bastard gripped a fistful of black feathers and ripped them out from the baby angel's wings. Casteil screamed, staring at the bloody feathers that the demon was now sucking the blood off.
"CAS! You fucking sick Son of a Bitch! Let go of my angel!" Dean screamed, pulling at the chains so hard the shackled on the left snapped right off. The demon stepped back slightly in fear, but simply smirked in Dean's direction when he realized he had nothing to fear and went back to playing with the angel's feathers.
"Aspen, stop messing with the angel and his hunter," Andrea snapped. "We have a little ceremony to begin." The demon nodded and all three holding the angels stepped into the chalk symbols. There were three symbols all together, each a different character. None of the hunters recognized the symbols, but their blood felt like it was freezing over at the sight of the white scribbles. The hunters watched in terror as all three demons began chanting.
"Is that…"
"No way," Dean gasped, remember way back when they first met Castiel. Alastair had had the angel by the throat and had been speaking some freaky mojo that seemed to be doing something way worse than an exorcism to Cas. "What is that spell?" Dean questioned, eyes going wide. The demon that had previously been guarding them turned his head from the scene to the hunter.
"A spell Lucifer was so gracious on teaching us once upon a time," the demon explained.
"What's it do?" Bobby spat. The demon smirked, clearly enjoying himself. The black eyes monster lifted a finger at the three angels ahead of him before answering, smiling like a child at Christmas.
"Isn't it obvious? Kill angels." Lightning sparked from the outside and a frown creased Andrea's brow.
"Put up sigils. We don't want any unwanted guests," Andrea spat, directing her gaze at the demon currently patronizing the hunters. The demon nodded, grabbing some spray paint and creating the symbols meant to keep out angels. The crashes of thunder grew louder, almost as if the angels from above were shouting or screaming. Dean's guess was that they were.
"STOP!" all three angels screamed at once suddenly. Fires shot up from the earth, cracking open the earth. Andrea's eyes gleamed as the spell finally began. Blood began to pour from the angels' eyes, noses, mouths, and ears like fountains. Their screams turned from sobs to painful coughing as the blood blocked their airways. Even their wings were dulling like old dried leaves and it scared the shit out of Dean and the others. It was like watching a beautiful rose slowly shrivel and die.
"Leave them alone!" Sammy screamed at the chanting demons, but the heartless beasts continued the angels' torture. The fires burned higher and the lightning and thunder crashed harder. Soon, bright light burst from all three angels and glass breaking screams echoed through the cavern. Sam and Bobby covered their ears in pain from the murderous screams, but Dean only continued to pull at his shackles, screaming for the angels to hold on just a little longer. Blood coated his wrist now and he twisted and turned his wrist in the hold of the shackle in attempt to slip it out of its hold.
"DWEAN!" Screw it. Dean punched his hand against the chains, ignoring as he felt the metal slice into muscle and bone. In an instant his hand was soon free of the now shattered shackles and Dean Winchester was on his feet sprinting towards the angels. Just as Dean broke through the circle the light from the angels exploded.
Sam and Bobby opened their eyes, blinking the dots out of their eyes from the bright light. The demons were nothing but dust now and the only living thing they could see was Dean. He was on his hands and knees in front of the three circles the three baby angels had once been.
"Dean?!" Sammy called, worry present in his voice. Dean looked up from what he had been staring at and turned ever so slightly to reveal the blood soaked bodies of all three angels. The angels lay in a naked heap in their own blood. They were no longer the cute little angels the hunters had taken care of now however. Each angel was back to being their original full grown selves. That wasn't the reason for the shock running through each hunter at the very second though. No, the shock was from something 100% worse. There laying in a bath of their own icy red blood and lifeless eyes open were the three breathless, cold corpses of their angels; never to hold life again.
To be continued…
Well, I told you it was going to be a BIG chapter didn't I? Perhaps if I get some reviews I'll give the next chapter to you tomorrow. Just maybe. ;)
