The Angels Have the Phone Box
Living with Charlie and Kevin both was something else. The ups of it all was that they had each other's backs and Charlie made some fine waffles. Kevin could make some pretty awesome pot pies too. The bad was that Charlie was turning them all geekier than they already were. First she had corrupted them with Firefly and now they had moved on to Doctor Who and Torchwood. Every day Charlie would pop in a new DVD and the gang would succeed in finishing an entire series in one night. The angels were getting into it the most. Gabriel would snap his fingers together and three different sonic screwdrivers would appear in each angel's hands. Sometimes Dean would be woken up by the sound of the buzzing screwdrivers as the angels ran around the house, pretending to be The Doctor. It never bothered him really. He enjoyed watching them play and have fun. It sort of hid the fact that they were being hunted by demons. When Gabriel would use his powers to transform random things into Doctor Who objects Dean would let it go and just make sure Gabe turned the objects back to normal at the end of the day. This time the angels went an entirely different level.
"Gabe, we've been through this before. Your powers keeps its clutches off of my stuff!" Dean hissed through clenched teeth, trying and failing to stay calm. It's not like it's the first time Gabriel got carried away with his powers and in the end everything did eventually go back to normal. Still, that's no excuse for his baby to always be the one turned into something.
"Come on, Dean! I think it's cool!" Charlie stated, staring at his baby sitting outside their apartment. Dean ignored her, knowing full well that he would snap at her if he tried to say anything.
"We just wanted one of our own, Dwean," Castiel jumped in for his older brother. Dean ran a hand through his hair.
"That still doesn't mean you guys can turn my baby into Doctor How's spaceship!" Dean shouted, pointing at the blue box that only had the license plates to prove that it had once been his beloved Impala. Charlie stepped in front of the angles, protective big sister mode turning on.
"First off, it's Doctor Who and second, his name isn't Doctor Who it's just The Doctor," Charlie clarified. "Third, they're just kids wanting to have their own TARDIS like every other three to five year olds." Dean grumbled slightly. They're more like thousands of years old angels in kids clothing.
"We'll turn it back, Dean-O! Scouts honor," Gabriel said, holding up two fingers in a promise.
"Yeah, we just want to use it for a day," Balthazar pleaded. Dean glared at the now blue and box formed Impala. He sighed heavily.
"It's going to take you a while to recover from using that much power anyway so…yeah, knock yourselves out," Dean grumbled. The angels each cheered, rushing towards their Impala turned TARDIS. Charlie clapped Dean on the back giving him a wide smile and the two followed the angels into the TARDIS.
It was bigger on the inside. It wasn't as big as the actual TARDIS and the extra doors didn't lead to the rest of the ship. Gabriel's powers aren't that strong after all. This TARDIS also didn't resemble the one from the show. The inside actually looked like the inside of the Impala. There were leather seats around the control panel and many of the buttons and knobs looked like those you would see on the Impala's dash. Dean couldn't help the smile that slowly made its way across his face.
"Um, Dean," Charlie whispered, silently. Dean turned to her, freezing when he saw that she was wearing the same clothes she was when they had been at the convention. Dean glanced over himself as well, but he was dressed in a long World War Two trench coat and had both suspenders and a belt on. His hair was darker too.
"You've got to be kidding," Dean choked, playing with the airplane cufflinks on his new attire.
"I think it kind of suits you," Charlie giggled. "Handsome, kickass, and neither of you can keep your pants on." Dean smirked at her, turning to see the angels sitting around the control table. The angels were each dressed up as different doctors. Gabriel had a long multicolored scarf wrapped around himself and was currently stuffing a handful of Jelly babies into his mouth. Balthazar had a bright multi-colored coat complete with a kitty pin. Castiel was sucking on his thumb on top of one of the leather seats dressed in a jacket, suspenders, and a blue bow tie. Oh, and a red fez of course.
"That has to be the cutest thing I've ever seen," Charlie squealed as she stared at the baby Doctors. Dean couldn't argue with her there.
"Come on, Amy! Let's go to see the dinosaurs!" Castiel called. Charlie's smile widened and she bounded excitedly over to Cas, picking him up and setting him on her lap.
"What are you waiting for, Harkness?! An invitation?" Balthazar…err…The Doctor called as he flipped a switch on the controls. Dean made his way over to the angels watching as lights blinked and a wheezing noise echoed around them.
"Does this thing really work?" Dean mouthed towards Charlie. She shrugged, lurching when the TARDIS/Impala shook slightly and the wheezing stopped.
"We're here!" the angels cried, rushing towards the door. Charlie and Dean hurried after them only to run into Sam, Kevin, and Bobby dressed in T-Rex footy pajamas. The two glanced around to see that they had in fact not moved at all. Well, of course they didn't. If Gabe couldn't add a swimming pool to the TARDIS than how could he make it travel in time? Still, Sammy in dinosaur footy pajamas was definitely than flying back in time.
"What's going on?" Kevin questioned, looking miserable in his costume.
"Run! Hungry talking Dinosaurs!" Castiel screamed. Dean, grabbed Balthazar and Gabriel's hands while Charlie lifted Castiel onto her shoulders and the five ran for it, laughing excitedly. The three dinosaurs smirked, catching on to the game and ran after them growling and hissing as they chased the others.
