Doctor Who Hiatus

It was torture. They were all caught up and the world was ending for the three fluffy angels. On one bright Saturday morning the angels finished watching Season 7 of Doctor Who, only to be forced to wait with all the others until Season 8 aired at last. It had been three days already and neither angel could take it. Nope, today was the day they put an end to their wait.

Gabriel, Balthazar, and Castiel watched as Gabriel's grace worked its magic, turning the apartment in a TARDIS. The light colored walls darkened and morphed until the main control room was formed and several of the extra rooms became either gateways to different worlds or different rooms in the TARDIS. The angels each watched as their clothes changed as well. A long colorful scarf wrapped itself around Gabriel, turning him into the fourth Doctor. Balthazar's blue shirt stretched into a long multi colored coat with a Persian kitty pin on the front, transforming him into the sixth Doctor. Last, but not least was Castiel. He was dressed in tweed, suspenders, a bow tie, and even a tiny red fez. There was no question to which Doctor he had become.

"GABRIEL!" The angels watched as the entire crew blasted through the doorway leading to what was probably the swimming pool since everyone was drenched head to toe. They were all dressed up though. Dean and Charlie wore the same outfits they had during the whole Impala/TARDIS incident. Dean was Captain Jack and Charlie was none other than Amy Pond. Bobby's beard had grown white and he had two sets of Christmas antlers on his head, making him undoubtedly Wilf. Next to Bobby stood Kevin dressed as Adric from the Classic Doctor Who. He was garbed in a bright yellow shirt with a blue star badge pinned to it and poor Charlie looked like she was going to cry since Adric was one of her favorite companions from the classics. Sam was the Brigadier from the classics and the angels had gone all out with the costume. Sam now had a mustache and even his hair was gone! Then there was Custos. Everyone's favorite hellhound puppy was now K-9. He had a wire tail, a blinking panel on his back and a laser for a nose. In other words; he was fucking awesome.

"Wow, Gabby!" Cas gasped, staring at the group in wonder. "You outdid yourself again!" Gabriel bowed.

"I've been practicing, although I don't know how long my grace will be able to make it last," the angel stated, tapping his fingers across the millions of buttons. A door flicked open finally and everyone spared a glance through the big door. It was clearly London since everyone was driving on the wrong side of the road. Kevin jumped through the door, spinning in the London air.

"Dude, your mojo is freaking awesome!" Kevin shouted. Gabriel bowed, leading the others out through the door. Dean took in a deep breath as he breathed in the damp air from freshly fallen rain and the smell of restaurants serving their morning customers. Kevin and Cas were both right. Gabriel's grace had grown greatly since Sam and Dean had both taken in the angels. Once upon a time he could barely control his grace and now he was creating whole new world. Something squeezed in Dean's chest. Was this how parents felt when their kids grew up?

"So what monsters are we fighting today?" Charlie questioned, skipping over to Cas, lifting the angel up, and setting him on her shoulders. Gabriel looked around for a moment before shrugging.

"We'll have to explore and find out."

The demons road around in their dark black car around the block, searching for the angels. Crowley had ordered them to go nowhere near the angels. He apparently had some big scheme planned, but what Crowley didn't know wouldn't hurt him too much. They just wanted to have their fun with the angels. That's all.

"Did you see that?" one of the demons in the back said as she looked up at an apartment. They stopped the care and stared through the windows, watching as a bright light flickered through the panes. Got them.

"Should we tell the others where the angels are?" a demon questioned. Another shook his head.

"After we get to have our fun first."

The crew sat together by some benches while they munched on fish and chips for lunch. Cas and Charlie were dipping their fish in little containers of custard and chatting animatedly about what Gabe could have created as their monster. Dean was just as curious as they were. It was probably something that spat candy knowing Gabe. Dean sat down on the green grass, watching as Balthazar and Gabriel tumbled playfully on the soft ground. A sigh left his lips. He could take nap right here and now it was so peaceful.

"Hello, Winchesters." Dean's blood ran cold and his heart clenched. He spoke too soon. Everyone turned their attention to the doorway to see six demons glaring at them with black eyes and gleaming teeth. Dean got to his feet, pushing Gabriel and Balthazar behind himself as he lifted a gun at the demons. It wasn't his gun. This one was clearly from WW2 and most definitely Captain Jack's. Sam stepped in front of Charlie, blocking her and Cas from the demons' view.

"I thought Crowley had other plans for us and the angels," Bobby hissed from where he stood with Kevin. The demons leered at him in the corner of his eye.

"Oh he does, but that doesn't mean we have to follow them. The demons started to approach, only halting when Gabriel rushed under Dean's legs and stood protectively in front of his large family.

"GABE!" Dean called, fear and anger burning though him as he tried to reach for the angel. Gabriel continued to pull away, winking at the hunter cunningly.

"Looks like our villains finally showed up," Gabriel giggled, clicking his fingers together. At first nothing happened, but then the demons were surrounded in a thick fog. When the fog cleared six daleks stood in their place. The demons turned alien looked each other over through their eye stocks and before Gabe could do anything more to them, Dean scooped up the angel and bolted in the opposite direction.

"Run!" he shouted over his shoulder at the others and he carried Gabe from the scene and the others followed swiftly.

"That was our line!" Balthazar shouted as he flapped his silver wings to keep up. The demons fallowed them, shooting at them with their deadly beams. "You armed them?!" Balthazar gasped, dodging a ray of blue light as a dalek shot at him. Gabriel turned his body so he could look over Dean's shoulder.

"Oops," the angel muttered and snapped his fingers again. The blue dangerous lights dissipated and were then replaced with M&Ms.

"That's more likes it!" Cas shouted, opening his mouth to catch the fast flying M&Ms currently being shot at them. Dean caught a handful himself, but that didn't stop him from running.

"Honestly, why do I bother giving orders when nobody follows them," spat a British voice. Dean frowned as Crowley suddenly appeared in their path and he stopped running. The dalek demons stopped with them as Crowley glared at them.

"Crowley…"

"Now I have to kill you. You six will go blabbing about where to find the angels to everyone otherwise…"

"Crowley, we-" with a flick of Crowley's wrist the dalek demons blue up, sending shrapnel in all directions. The hunters and their angels all ducked out the way and Gabriel glared at Crowley.

"You killed our M&M dispensers," the angel squawked, crossing his arms over his chest as he still sat in Dean's arms. Crowley raised a brow at him.

"Well, sorry to destroy your play mates, but I rather have three living angels in my grasp than none. Make a new monster to chase." Gabe's eyes flickered as an idea popped into his head and before Crowley could try to run away he transformed into Davros of all things.

"Bloody feather brained…"

"Gabby, he should be the Master," Cas argued, sliding from Charlie's soldiers and flapping his wings so he glided over to Crowley. The angel crawled up onto the panel hooked around Crowley covered in buttons and wrinkled his nose.

"Cas, he's definitely isn't the Master," Gabe retorted.

"Yes he is."

"Isn't!"

"Is!"

"Will you two shut it?! I am the king of hell, not a rusted piece of medal!" A smirk quirked across Sam and Kevin's faces then and a soft chuckle left their lips.

"I thought you were a sugar plum princes?" Sam offered, trying hard to keep himself from doubling over with laughter. Crowley glared at them, slamming his fist on some of the buttons on the panel connected to him only to have bubblegum roll out from a small opening. He glared at himself and the crowd continued laughing at the king of hell.

"Oh don't worry, Crowley. Doctor who is back in September so you only have to play with the angels for a few more months," Kevin chuckled. Crowley slammed his fist down hard on some more buttons and a large gum ball flew out from him and smacked Kevin in the eyes. Kevin growled and the angels giggled excitedly.

"Run before the killer gum balls get us!" Balthazar shouted, flying away down the side walk and followed soon after by his brothers. Dean and Charlie gleamed at each other before running after the angels with the others. Now this is how you survive hiatus.
