Movie Night
Once again Charlie sat on the couch with all three angels piled on her lap as she flipped through Netflix. It was movie night again and the angels were helping her find something while the men of the household took forever to come home from the grocery store. A long sigh left Charlie's mouth as she stared at what options they had left. They had watched every Star Trek, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Stargate episode they could find. It was surprising that the TV hadn't blown up from overuse yet. Still, all that was left were some crummy old movies and a few Disney movies they had yet to see, but she had had enough of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves from her childhood. There was no way she was going to get the Disney loving angels into that. She had yet to get 'Let it Go' out of her head. Adding the song the dwarves sing would just make it worse.
"What's that?" Gabe asked as the curser stopped on BBC Merlin. Charlie felt her heart explode. What was Merlin? What was Merlin?! It…It was the greatest, most perfect television series ever. Well, with the exception of a few others. Taking a deep breath to attempt calming herself, Charlie turned her full attention back to the angels.
"You guys heard of King Arthur and Merlin right?" she questioned. The angels nodded as Charlie hovered the curser on the first episode. "This is about when Arthur and Merlin first meet. It's freaking amazing, sad, terrifying, funny…"
"Don't give it all away!" Balthazar jumped in before Charlie could say anything more. She smiled at the angels and pushed play before she let out any big spoilers. The screen darkened and Gabriel snapped his fingers, darkening the room and manifesting a giant bowl of popcorn on the coffee table in front of me. Merlin was just about to meet Arthur for the very first time when the screen turned black without any warning.
"What the hell, Dean?!" Charlie shouted as the Winchester stood in front of the TV to keep her from turning it back on. Dean waved a hand, gesturing to the group sitting in front of him.
"Who said that you could watch it without us?" Dean stated, nodding his chin at Kevin, Bobby, and Sam standing in the doorway with their arms crossed. Charlie and the angels scooted over to make some room for the others.
"Not our fault you guys take too long!" Charlie snapped while shoving a handful of popcorn into her mouth. Dean stuck his tongue out at her as he sat by her side. Charlie waved him the finger dramatically before letting it press down the play button on the remote. Kevin's face curved quickly into a frown.
"Hey! You have to rewind it!" Kevin shouted.
"You didn't miss anything, don't worry," Charlie lied, trying to ignore the prophet as her eyes stayed glued to the screen. Kevin gave her a look and reached for the remote.
"Charlie, you liar! Turn it back!" Kevin shouted. Charlie rolled away from Kevin, causing the angels to slip from her lap and into Dean's. Dean grabbed the angels before they could slip from his own lap, securing them safely in his hold. Kevin jumped onto her pulling her to the floor and fighting for the remote. The angels watched the fight with the three hunters in the room. Sam and Bobby silently placed bets on who would win.

Everyone glanced in Gabriel's direction as the angel snapped his fingers together. They waited for something to change, but got nothing. Well, until they heard Charlie squeal. Charlie's red hair had gone black and was cut short. She wore a blue tunic with a red neckerchief around her neck and a pair of brown trousers. Kevin was dressed in a red shirt and his dark hair had gone completely blond.
"If you're not goanna let us watch Merlin then start role playing!" Gabe announced, receiving a high five from Balthazar. Kevin and Charlie glanced at each other, still taking in their new looks before breaking into a fight again for the remote. Dean shoved a fist full of popcorn into his mouth and handed a few pieces to the angels in his lap. Now this was entertainment. They were going to have to start a roleplaying night too now.
"Gabe," Sam called from the other side of the room. "As much as I live roleplaying…do you think you could mute those two and push play for rest of us that wanted to actually watch this?" Giving a curt bow, Gabe wiggled his fingers and silence fill the room except for Netflix once Gabe had summoned up a bit of his grace to get it playing again. Sam smiled, stretching out his feet in his chair and commenced watching. He had to give it to Kevin and Charlie. They were pretty accurate with the fight scene. He didn't know when or where Charlie had gotten a broom stick, but it really added to the scene.
"Dwean?" Cas called from Dean's lap. The hunter ignored the angel. "Dean," Cas corrected quickly. Dean smiled, turning his gaze to the angel on his lap. Now that he had Dean's attention, Cas pointed at Charlie and Kevin. "They're wasting all the poppy corn!" Dean blanched as he watched Kevin dump the buttered popcorn of Charlie's head, smearing her hair with the food and getting himself covered in it as well.
"Hey!" Dean shouted, jumping off the couch after depositing the angels from his lap and safely onto the cushions. He jumped into the fight, trying to save at least half of the popcorn. Sam rose a brow at his brother as his shouting disrupted the show still playing on the television. Sam's eyes met Gabe's and the angel, catching the hint muted Dean too. A smile spread over Sam's face as Dean's mouth moved and no words came out.
"Man, I wish I was an angel!"
Thanks to all of you that requested some Merlin! Hope you all enjoy today's chapter. Writing has been a little slow lately for me, but I'm getting there. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
