Dreams Come True

The angels were still sicker than dogs and the witch was still in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Bobby and Sam had returned home, but were empty handed. The witch did a really good job hiding herself from hunters. In the meantime the group watched over the angels. Even Custos hadn't left either of the angels' sides since the other night and Dean was glad for that. He'd like to see that witch trying to get past Custos without losing a hand.

There was a knock on the door and dean got up to see who it was. A little girl stood by the door, smiling sweetly. She was dressed in the usual uniform girl scouts always wore and a box of cookies rested at her feet.

"How much for a box?" Dean questioned, pulling out his wallet. It would probably be good for the angels to have a little treat. Maybe it would cheer them up even. The little girls eyes narrowed and she held out a hand.

"Three baby angels," she answered, voice not even close to one of a child's. Before Dean even had a chance to react he was blasted into the wall. The Girl Scout transformed into a woman with strawberry blond hair. Laughing manically, the witch walked into the room, eyes glittering with magic. "I'm here for my angels," she announced, eyes turning on Balthazar and Gabe currently being defended by a growling hellhound.

"Go to hell, Bitch!" Dean shouted. The witch chuckled before flicking her wrist and sending Dean flying from the wall and into the kitchen that Bobby, Sam, and Cas were currently in.

"Dean?" Sam was on the floor, cradling Cas as the angel shivered in his hold with fear. "What's happened? Cas just freaked out all of…"

"The witch! She's here, Sammy, and Gabe and Balthy are trapped in the other room!" Eyes widened and the brothers instantly started to punch and kick at the door.

The witch walked into the living room to see Gabriel and Balthazar glaring at her with sickly eyes. They were shaking and clearly feeling worse for wear from their failed attempt at the tracing spell. Gabriel and Balthazar prepared themselves to fight, but the witch flicked her wrist and their worlds changed. Gabriel and Balthazar screamed as the witch trapped them in their terrors. Gabriel was in heaven, just a ghost to his siblings. He watched as Anna got into his face, shouting at him for even thinking about leaving his brothers. Gabriel felt tears welling up in his eyes at the memory. "They need you, Gabe! Without you they'll turn out just like all our other cold brothers and sisters," Anna screamed. "I won't stay here and watch Michael and Lucifer kill each other. Not even if that means leaving my baby brothers," vision Gabe whispered, looking torn as he said those horrid words. Anna slapped her hand across his face, causing his cheek to flush. "Abandon them and you'll lose those sweet little angels forever!" Anna shouted back. The image shifted revealing Castiel and Balthazar. The angels stood stick straight and stared out into the distance like statues. There were no emotions in their usual vibrant eyes. Everything he had taught them about emotions was gone now all because he left. They were dressed in the usual military armor for angels. Glistening metals covered their bodies and even plated over their delicate wings. "You are soldiers of God. You serve God and no other," Anna shouted as she marched in front of her garrison. "We are angels of the Lord," the garrison of young angels shouted coldly in response. "Dismissed!" Anna shouted and the angels all saluted before zapping away. Balthazar and Castiel were the only ones that stayed. "Permission to ask about the whereabouts of the archangel Gabriel?" Cas questioned, eyes meeting Anna's. Gabe's heart clenched as he noticed the quick glimmer of sadness in his brother's pleading eyes when he asked. Anna shook her head, muttering a soft sorry. Balthazar and Castiel instantly grew cold, but the tears in their eyes betrayed their true feelings.

Balthazar wanted to dig his eyes out. He saw the battle taking place all around him. A ways away stood the vision replica of himself. He was wearing glimmering metals to protect his wings and grace. He was back in the middle of the Apocalypse, fighting to save on of the seals. The vision Balthazar glanced around himself before conjuring up a replica of himself and stabbing it in the chest with a blade. As soon as the deed was done he zapped to the distance and watched the show. That's when Castiel appeared in heaven. He wasn't dressed for battle. He looked like he had just popped up from assisting his human buddies. Castiel's eyes whipped around, searching through the endless fields of fallen brothers until his eyes fell on one angel in particular. Balthazar cried out as his little brother ran towards the broken and twisted copy of himself lying dead in the fields of heaven. No, Cassie wasn't meant to see this. He watched as the emotionless mask broke to pieces and left Cas' emotions open to the world. Castiel collapsed to his knees, pulling the dead body into his arms and shaking it helplessly. "Balthazar?! Balthazar, you can't leave me too! Balthazar!" The angel in question lowered his head, tears falling down his face.

"What's happening to them?!" Dean yelped, trying to bust through the door as the angels screamed on the other side. Castiel kicked at the door as well, tears streaming down his face. Whatever it was it wasn't good. His brothers continued their never ending screams until finally the gang busted down the doorway to reveal just an empty cabin. Castiel screamed, calling for his older brothers, but they were nowhere to be seen. There was a loud scream from the hallway leading to the back door and the group ran into the hall to see the witch dragging the angels away.

"Let them go!" Sam shouted, lifting a gun and shooting. Bobby and Dean followed him with fires, but the witch was untouched by the bullets. The killer metal just dissolved before getting a chance to be near her. She waved a hand and the world exploded around them. Flames burned around the room and Dean and Sam screamed as their own mirage unfolded in front of them. Their mother and Jess both hung from the ceiling, bleeding and slowly burning. Their father with yellow eyes sneered at them from the doorway.

"It's not real!" Castiel tried to shout at the brothers, shaking Dean hard, but the little angel couldn't get through to the hunter. The witch cackled evilly and lifted Cas' unconscious brothers into her arms.

"It's your turn, Sweetie," the witch hissed, reaching for Cas. Custos burst from the doggy door and jumped in front of his master, growling loudly. The witch frowned at the dog, but made no attempt to swat him away. Even she wasn't stupid enough to mess with a hound from hell. "So be it. I don't need all three of you just yet," she spat, lifting a free hand above her head.

"No!" light burst around them again and Castiel watched as the witch stole away his brothers. Dean and Sam collapsed to the ground and the gasped for breath as the horrible images disappeared from their minds.

As your 4th of July treat I will be posting the continuing chapter tomorrow before I head out and attempt not to get killed by the firecrackers and sparklers.
