Swimming with Dolphins

The angels sat in the water with the dolphins at the local aquarium. Jody stood off to the side with a wide smile on her face as she watched the angels. The sheriff had offered to take the angels for the day since she was in the area. They had spent most of the first half of the day wandering the aquarium. Fish had swarmed the areas of the tanks the angels were by and the angels would smile and start gabbing to the fish. Jody had sent a text or two to Sam and Dean to make sure that was normal. Apparently it was normal for the angels. After spending the day exploring the angels' favorite parts of the aquarium, Jody called in a few favors and got the angels a chance to swim with the dolphins. The dolphin trainer showed the angels everything they needed to know before taking off with the dolphins, patiently answering questions and listening to their excited babbling. When everything was ready the three dolphins took off with their angels. Jody whipped out her phone and snapped pictures as the dolphins carried Gabriel, Balthazar, and Castiel around the large pool. When the instructor turned her back the angels would say something to the dolphins and would suddenly shoot into the air. The dolphins would spin and do back flips with the angels clutching tightly to their backs, only stopping when the instructor turned her gaze back to them.

"I'm king of the world!" Gabriel shouted, standing up on the dolphins back and stretching out his arms. Balthazar glared at his brother, muttering something about the Titanic and Celine Dion. Jody chuckled and sent the pictures to the Winchesters.

"Would you like to swim with them too, Ma'am?" the trainer questioned. Jody's eyes widened and her mouth hung open a bit as she glanced between the trainer and the dolphins. She was about to decline, but stopped when she heard the giggles of the three little angels in the pool.

"Absolutely," Jody answered. She might as well have some fun too on her visit. The instructor led Jody to the locker room then, giving Jody a suit to wear. When the suit was on and Jody got the same lecture the angels had the sheriff was ready to go. Jody dived into the pool with the angels and the dolphins carried the three to her.

"Welcome to the party, Sheriff!" Gabriel shouted, moving to the side so Jody could crawl on to his dolphin. Jody pated her hand gently against the dolphin and grinned widely.

"What? You didn't think I'd let you guys have all the fun, did you?" The angels each laughed and looked to their dolphins. The three each let out a series of strange squeals and the dolphins quickly chortled back. Jody's eyes widened. "You speak dolphin?" she questioned.

"Being celestial beans comes in very handy sometimes," Cas replied. He then said another string of words in dolphin and the creature sped off, flipping into the air and disappearing back into the water. Gabriel and Balthazar both shouted out a few clicks and other noises, the dolphins quickly reacting by leaping into the air. Jody cried out, hooting and hollering along with the angels as the dolphins carried them through the amazing roller coaster. When the dolphins dived into the water they would spin beneath the surface and then shoot back up.

Jody tossed a fish into a dolphin's mouth as they sat on the edge of the pool. The trainer had come out with a pale of fish for the dolphins and a plate of sandwiches for the rest of them.

"Thanks, Jody!" the angels each said thankfully as they munched on their lunch. Jody grinned at them and took a bite of her own sandwich.

"You're welcome, Boys. What do you say we make this a usual thing for when I visit?" she asked, winking at the angels. "Maybe we could get the others to come with next time." The angels each cheered in agreement. Even the dolphins chortled and chirped. Jody patted the dolphin they had ridden on with Gabe and gave the dolphin another fish. She looked over to the edge of the pool next to the plate of food where her phone was sitting.

"Let's send the guys a group picture, huh?" she called holding out her phone. The angels dropped their sandwiches and jumped into the water, climbing onto the backs of the dolphins. Jody crouched down so she could see herself up front in the screen and the three dolphins with their angels over her shoulders.

"Sammy, did you get the pictures Jody sent?!" Dean shouted as he made his way down the stairs into the living room. Sammy was sitting on the couch, folding clothes while watching some old documentary. The younger Winchester looked up as his brother entered the room. Dean waved his phone back and forth before tossing it into Sammy's hands. Sam took it and looked through the photos. There were tons of the angels running around the aquarium, pointing at fish and other creatures. Farther into the sets of photos there were images of the angels dressed in water suits in a giant pool. Next to the angels were three gorgeous dolphins. Finally, he flipped to the selfie picture of Jody, the angels, and the dolphins. Sam grinned and handed the phone back to Dean.

"Oh, we are so going with next time," Sam stated, tossing a few folded clothes into a pile.

"Yeah, anything would be better than laundry day," Dean chuckled, putting his phone back into his pocket and grabbing a pile of clothing from where it sat on the arm of the couch. Dean turned out of the living room and rushed up the stairs, carrying the clothes into the angels' room and putting the clothing away into the dresser. When the drawers were full Dean pulled his phone back out and flipped through the pictures again, grinning as he saw the angels' bright smiles.

"Definitely going next time," Dean decided before exiting the room to grab the next load of laundry.
