The Return of Andy the Deli Kid Killer
'Andy' stood behind the counter of the newest deli he was working at. He knew using the fake alias more than once was a bad idea, but he had grown attached to the name long before he'd been arrested. It had taken him a while to get out of jail, but he managed it. Now he was back to doing what he loved again. Andy waved at the small children that passed him, thinking of all the beautiful statues that he could make with them. Those statues were nothing like the three he'd dreamed of everyday in prison however. Black and silver wings stretched out, wrapping around each other as their two bodies posed majestically. The two sets of blue eyes stared out into the heavens, but they had not grayed do to death. No, Andy would make sure to keep the beautiful colors alive. Last, but not least would be his masterpiece. Golden wings would spread wide like an eagle, each feather dripping with beauty. His small frame would be draped in a white robe with silver and gold to enhance his regal beauty as he stood with his kin.
"Two subs, please." Andy snapped out of his thoughts and stared at the tired looking lady in front of him. His vision had been shattered. He gritted his teeth. He wanted to reach out and wrap his long fingers around her throat and watch the light leave her plain eyes, but he held back. He was saving himself for those three angels. Alas, Andy had no idea on where to search for them. He'd heard they had moved away after talking to a few locals. For all he knew they were in another country.
"Dwean, can we get some Popsicle?" Andy's head perked up and his gaze scanned the area until falling on six familiar faces. An old man in a cap with some scraggly beard pushed a cart while two young men walked on either side of it. One was taller than the other and had long hair Andy would expect to see on a model. In the cart sat the creatures of dreams.
Two pairs of blue eyes looked out over the never ending aisles of food. One had hair that reminded Andy of dark chocolate. The other had lovely strands of blond hair atop his head. Sitting by their side sat another with blond hair, but this one had eyes like the gold of dragon's treasure. Andy sucked in a breath, tongue flicking out to lick at his lips. He could feel himself going mad under their powerful gaze. A yearning spread throughout Andy as he watched them. It was a yearning he had since first spotting the three so very long ago. They were younger then, but age had only added to their glow. The only thing that ruined their perfect beauty was the casts on two of the angels. It disgusted Andy that such harm could come to his priceless beauties and that something as simple as a broken arm and leg could affect their grace. Well, he was going to make sure their beauty was never tarnished again.
Andy watched as the two young men packed the food away in their black Impala while the old man lectured about beer or something. The three marvels Andy awaited for were holding the cart for the two so it wouldn't roll away. The child killer felt the corners of his lips twitch up. They were such little angels. Andy pressed his foot to the pedal of his van and shot at the group. It was time to retrieve the ingredients for his masterpiece. The six looked up as Andy's van hurtled towards them, eyes widening in fright. The two youngest dropped the groceries and barreled for the three small children, but Andy was fast. He rolled down his window and reached out, grabbing all three angels in one swoop before throwing them into the back of his van. He then slammed his foot even harder on the gas and sped away from the three shocked men and their back Impala. He glanced in his mirror at the three dazed angels, wondering if they would recognize him or not. The three shook themselves, glancing around the familiar looking van. The golden angel was the first to realize.
"Seriously? The deli bastard?!" Gabe yelped, looking towards Andy with fury in his eyes. "We take down monsters and some freaking deli psycho gets us again?" Andy chuckled.
"You flatter me, Angel," he purred, looking at the golden angel lovingly. A disgusted look crossed his face. Andy was used to that look, but it still hurt coming from what he was helping. He was going to immortalize them forever. Wasn't that something to be thankful for?
BAM!
Andy lurched forward in his seat, gasping in shock as something smacked the back of his van. Andy looked into his left mirror, anger burning in his eyes as he spotted that disgusting hunk of black metal riding his bumper. The angels each grinned at the sight of Andy's irritated eyes.
"Gonna take a lot more than you to stop those mama dragons," Balthazar teased. Andy growled and took a sharp turn, causing the angels to lose their balance and the Winchesters to almost go right off the road. Andy glanced back towards the angels as he drove down the bumpy road. The Winchesters were still following him, but at least they were farther back now.
"Everybody alright? No bruises?" Andy questioned, actually worried. He didn't want any damage on them before he went to work on their perfect bodies. The angels didn't answer. Instead, Gabriel ushered his brothers towards a corner in the back of the van. His wings materialized and he used them to create a shield over them. Andy frowned, not understanding their actions.
He found out the second both his mirrors were shattered. Andy gasped, poking his head out the window to see the Winchesters half hanging out of their windows, shooting at the van. Are they insane?! I'm carrying priceless cargo! Andy gritted his teeth and fished out a blade from his pocket. When a bullet hit the left back wheel the van went rolling. Andy closed his eyes, waiting until the spinning finally ended. When it did he unbuckled himself and crawled into the back, finding the angels shaking in the same corner as before. Gabriel's nails were bloody from holding onto the sides to keep himself and his brothers from being thrown all over the van. Andy reached out, grabbing Gabriel by his wings and yanking him from his brothers. Gabriel screamed a murderous cry and swung his body, kicking with his legs. Balthazar flapped his wings and started to beat at the child killer, careful not to hit Gabriel in his attack. Cas went for the knife in Andy's hand, knocking it from the killers hand with a hard kick. The knife clattered to the ground and Cas grabbed it, spinning it in his fingers before plunging it into the back of Andy's leg right below the knee. Crimson splattered from Andy's leg onto Castiel's face and Andy marveled at the fierceness of the image. Even blood splattered these gorgeous creations of God were still perfect.
The back doors of the van opened and Andy knew that the angels' caretakers were present. He felt Castiel and Balthazar both be pulled away from him, leaving Gabriel struggling in his arms. Andy limped back, cornering himself in the van. Dean and Sam Winchester stood side by side while Bobby stood behind them with both Balthazar and Castiel wrapped up against his chest. Andy grinned at them through gritted teeth.
"What are you going to do? You can't touch me without hurting the angel and even you wouldn't think of damaging such a pretty thing," Andy stated, whispering the last part huskily against Gabriel's neck as he hugged the angel like a teddy. Gabriel shuttered in the man's hold and both Dean and Sam looked like they wanted to paint the van with Andy's blood. But they couldn't. The two stepped backwards and Andy almost thought he had an opening to bolt.
He was wrong.
"Custos!" Sam shouted. Andy's face paled and he heard something snarl from Dean's side. Sam's eyes went dark as he said something else. Andy couldn't understand it though. It was like he was speaking a different language.
A searing pain burst through Andy's wrists suddenly and he gasped. Blood spurt everywhere as some invisible force ripped his wrists open all the way up to his elbows. Bones splintered from beneath tearing muscle and flesh and Andy felt his fingers loosen their grip on Gabriel's wings. He dropped his golden angel. The centerpiece of his masterpiece dropped to the floor. Dean quickly grabbed the angel and hurried away from Andy and the thing attacking him. Sam wrapped a large hand around Gabriel protectively as Dean held the angel and the six watched as Custos tore into Andy with his teeth and claws. Andy cried out as the invisible force knocked him onto the ground and stood on top of his chest. He felt something sharp pressing against his throat, but it didn't cut. Sirens blasted a ways away and Andy turned his blurring gaze back towards the Winchesters and their angels.
"Let get going," Sam urged. "He'll either get locked up again or die from the damage done."
"Let's hope for the later," Bobby growled, carrying Balthazar and Castiel out of the van. Dean said something in another language and the weight on Andy's chest and the sharpness on his throat vanished. Sam bent down, petting midair.
"Good boy," he whispered, before straitening up and walking with his brother and Gabriel towards the back doors of the van.
"I'll create my masterpiece, my pretty!" Andy promised. Gabriel's wings went rigid. "You and your brothers will –"
Sam's boot smashed into the child killer's face. Andy's nose made a sickening crunch as the boot shattered his nose and Andy's vision went completely black. Without another word then the Winchester's fled the van with their angel and the sound of the Impala roaring away down the road was drowned out by the blaring of police lights.
The impala sped down the road, heading back for home. Bobby had called Kevin and Charlie, warning them on what had happened. Sam was in the back, the angels each wrapped in his arms along with Custos. Cas was still covered in blood, but he had quickly dashed away the hunters' worries from thinking it was his. Balthazar was the only one that needed any bandages. His knuckles and wings were slightly scuffed up from smack Andy. Custos was unharmed, but he was a bit more nervous and slightly jumpy. Well, they all were now. The puppy stayed the closest to Gabriel out of all of them, licking the angel every once in a while. Gabriel clutched tighter to Sam and patted Custos affectionately on the head with a wing, eyes closed as he tried to rest. Rest refused to come though. He kept seeing the look in Andy's eye as the freak looked at him and his brothers. He could still hear the sick words Andy said to them. A shiver wracked his body and Sam clutched onto the angel tighter, rubbing Gabriel's back in slow circles. Balthazar and Castiel each folded a wing over their brother in a comforting manor and then folded the other over each other. Gabriel smiled thankfully at them and closed his eyes again, Andy gone from his visions for the meantime.
