Hush Little Angels

The six deadly sins walked to cage to cage, tossing in sippy-cups filled with water for the angels. The little old lady from before was currently cleaning up the torture chair, glancing towards the caged angels every second or two. The human from before had been taken away a while ago. He most likely was being healed of his wounds to be tortured again later.

There was a knock at one of the iron doors and the demon in the elderly meat suit stopped cleaning the chair to answer it. When she opened it Wrath stood in the doorway with a dark glint in his eye.

"Leave us," he ordered her. The elderly woman nodded and rushed past Wrath, glancing towards Gabriel, Castiel, and Balthazar briefly before closing the door behind her. Wrath grinned at the other demons in the room, but they didn't grin back.

"You done with your temper tantrum?" Lust questioned, arms crossed over her chest. Wrath's grin grew.

"What do you think?" Wrath raised a hand and the others went flying to the side. The group caught themselves before they could smack into the cages, but they stayed where they were, not getting in Wrath's way. "I've had enough of this," Wrath hissed, pushing past the stacks of cages and grabbing inside the cage holding Gabriel, Balthazar, Castiel, and a few smaller angels. The little ones screamed and the three eldest jumped protectively in front of their siblings.

"Wrath, what are you doing?" Pride shouted, rushing towards the demon and trying to pull Wrath back from the cage. "Crowley said not to hurt them!" Wrath pushed Pride off and reached into the cage again. Balthazar and Gabriel attacked, smacking their wings at him and biting. Wrath growled and slammed a fist into the two, knocking them both unconscious in a second. Castiel cried out and moved protectively over his hurt brothers. Wrath grinned.

"Oh, tough guy, huh?" he laughed, grabbing Cas around the neck and ripping him from the cage. Castiel struggled in his hold, kicking and throwing punches. The younger angels in the cage all broke into frightened cries, shaking Balthazar and Gabriel in attempt to wake them. Wrath carried Cas over to a chair and tossed the angel on top of it before securing the angel's flailing limbs. "Bring those other two," Wrath ordered. Greed and Gluttony did as told, each ripping the unconscious angels from their baby siblings and bringing them to Wrath.

"What are you doing, Wrath?" Lust questioned, pushing her way to his side in front of Greed and Gluttony. Wrath grinned up at her and started to reach for the table cluttered with torture instruments.

"If we can't train the angels into obedience then we'll force them to," he said with a toothy grin while brushing his fingers against a few knives.

"Wrath!" The demon turned, eyes landing on a woman with dark curls and black eyes. Long cuts decorated her face and busted chains hung from hooks embedded in her body. "Let my unicorn go!" She charged, throwing herself at the demon and tossing him to the floor.

"Meg! Meg!" Cas sobbed with relief, watching as Meg straddled Wrath's hips and pinned his arms down with one hand. Meg glanced over her shoulder at Cas and smiled.

"It's alright, Clarence. I'm here. You're alright," she whispered.

"Not for long," Wrath spat, head-butting Meg right in the forehead. Meg gasped and flew backwards, smacking hard onto several cages and knocking a couple over. Wrath lunged at her then, pounding her head against the cages like he had with Gabriel. Meg struggled against him, putting in a few punches of her own, but it wasn't enough. Wrath was stronger than her. With one hand he picked her up by the throat, letting her dangle in the air for a moment or two. The angels and Cas cried out as they watched, pleading, but it only seemed to fuel Wrath more. His hand squeezed tight against Meg's neck, crushing her throat before sending her hurling into a wall. Meg collapsed then, eyes closed and body still.

"MEG!" Cas wailed, but the demon didn't get up. He tried again, but a hand suddenly covered his mouth. Cas looked up, finding Wrath was now in front of him with a crazed look in his eye.

"See that?" Wrath asked. "Nobody left to help you, angel." Cas' tear filled blue eyes widened and Wrath pulled his hand back, picking up a steal rod from the torture table along with a strange headpiece. He pushed it onto Castiel's head, slapping the angel's cheek hard when he struggled. "Play nice or I'll give your brothers the same treatment as your demon friend," Wrath threatened. Cas stopped struggling, eyes drifting to his brothers. The other sins were all standing behind Wrath, watching with hesitant looks on their faces. In Greed and Gluttony's arms were a now struggling Balthazar and Gabriel. Cas forced a smile at them, trying to give them some false hope, but that ended the second he felt something sharp push against his skin.

Wrath fiddled with the headpiece, emitting a sharp cry from Castiel as the needles and pins hooked to it pierced through his head. The cry startled a rally of screams from his brothers and sisters from their cages and the all watched him through the bars of their cages.

"Please, stop! Do anything to us, but not him!" Balthazar and Gabriel cried, struggling against the other demons. Wrath only grinned and turned the rod sticking out of Cas' head tightly to the right. Cas' eyes widened in pain and a brutal shriek ripped up his throat and past his bloody lips. Tears streamed down his face as memories of his night terrors bombarded his mind.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

Cas tried to block out the terrors, but the images and the sounds of blood and black goo hitting pavement around him were too much. He could here Naomi, Raphael, Lucifer, and the Leviathan taunting him. He could here the screams of his friends and family.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

The door to the torture room flew open, revealing a raging king of hell. He stopped mid step, staring in shock at the screaming angel and his brothers.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Crowley growled, striding into the room. The six other deadly sins backed away, knowing better than to get in the king's way. "So this is the reason those blasted denim wrapped mama bears are on my ass. They've got every monster and god on Earth bullying me for these three! They've gone mental! I told you idiots the Winchesters' angels were off limits!" He flicked his wrist and Wrath flew into the nearest cage of baby angels. He looked to Greed and Gluttony and the two sins quickly let the angels go. Satisfied, Crowley then reached out to Castiel, turning the needled and gently pulling it out. The angel's screaming instantly died and the little one fell limp against his restraints. Too limp. Crowley swore, quickly unraveling Castiel from his restraints. He gently cradled the angel in his arms before laying him out on the cool cement floor. He pressed his head to Castiel's chest and then held his hand just above Cas' nose/mouth. Nothing. Crowley swore and looked to a terrified Gabriel and Balthazar standing a few steps away. The king scooped Castiel up into his arms, cradling the angel gently. He looked to the sins, eyeing them carefully. "Clear this place out while I'm gone. Leave not even the tiniest strand of evidence!" he ordered. The sins nodded. He glanced towards Meg. "Get her back to hell as well. I'm not finished with her. Find the demon that helped her loose as well." With that Crowley vanished with the Winchesters' angels.

Crowley zapped to the front door of the Winchester's home. In his arms were a very tired and very weak Balthazar and Gabriel. Shuffling the two around, he freed one hand and raised the other over the door. He knocked on the hard wood and listened to the soft shuffling of feet against the floor. The door flew open and a second later he watched as Charlie appeared behind it. Her bloodshot eyes widened at the sight of the weary angels and she called out for the others. The Sam and Dean were the first to hurry to the door. Bobby and Kevin were right behind them. Sam and Dean pulled the two angels tightly into their arms, rocking them as the angel gripped on for dear life. Dean looked back to Crowley, eyes searching.

"Where's Cas?"
