WARNING! THIS ONE IS MATURE! Don't say i didn't warn you and get me kicked off!
For a bit of background, this is long before Apprenticeship starts. Call it a prequel of a prequel if you will.
So, as ya know, Sterling and Carmine met and bonded in Straxis. Carmine's a city gal from Polyhex (capital) while Sterling, who prefers to go by Silver, is the country boy. At this point, Sterling (and Carmine) are in their early 20's or so, fairly young anyways. Sterling hasn't had the Hunter Coding for very long, and is still very much so controlled by it and is such, very much so an outcast. Carmine had turned down a mech for Sterling and as you can guess, he didn't take the rejection for the town outcast very well.
There's your PG summery.
Back to the real deal.
This is from Carmine's POV, but pretty much, its the point where Sterling realizes that his love for her is stronger then the coding and Carmine is able to bring him out of the coding's control.
IT IS RATED MATURE FOR A REASON!
This is easily one of the darkest fics I've done so far, (in a weird mood i guess) and its been on my mind for a while. Rape is implied, but not discribed while attempted rape is front and center as well as the usual violence.
READING IS UP TO YOU! I'VE WARNED YOU!
Oh, and thanks to Child of Jon Snow for Harmony's name.
Carmine gasped, her servo pressed against her chassis as her sister cried in pain. The sick feeling of being violated crossed over the bond and she nearly purged. Would have, if Ross didn't have a grip on her arm. She tried to yank free again but the mech was a good 9 feet taller than her and nearly three times her mass. Despite learning some dirty tricks from the Capital on how to escape less than wanted advances, Ross was far stranger then her. Not to mention furious.
The pain came again and Carmine snarled, trying to support Harmony as much as she could through their sibling bond.
"Ya fragger!" She snarled, wrenching her arm free only for Ross to grab her again, his servo nearly crushing her bracer in his grip. "Ya fraggin glitch!"
"Clutch is just 'avin' ah good tahm. Not mah fault tha' femme is puttin' up ah fight." Ross growled, easily jerking her forward when she dug in her heels.
"Ah'll off' ya for this-!"
She was cut off as he threw her against a wall. Her shoulder guard collided with it hard and she swallowed the cry of pain.
"Least tah Royals take us someplace nice before rapin' us!" She yelled, tears streaming down her faceplates. Harmony didn't deserve what was happing, she hadn't done anything. It was only because Carmine had rejected Ross so publicly. This was all her fault. She'd been warned by Sire not to be out so late in Straxis. She'd always brushed the warning off but now…. Nobody was around at this time of night to help either of them.
"If ya so mad, take it out on meh, not Harmony!" She spat, cradling her shoulder guard. Her armor was nowhere near the thickness of the miners, she'd been a singer and dancer in Polyhex. She'd always been smart enough to avoid getting cornered but she'd let down her guard in the small mining town.
"Oh Ah intend tah." Ross snarled, slamming a servo to her shoulder guard and pinning her against the wall. His other servo landed on her chassis, pressing against her plating and her spark hammered.
"Ya should have accepted meh when Ah asked ya." He hissed before his digits dug into her plating, trying to pry her armor off.
She made a grab for her dagger, her digits wrapping around the blade's hilt and stabbed it as deep into his arm as she could. He roared in pain, jerking his servo away from her and she bolted.
"Spawn of ah glitch!" He snarled, taking off after her.
The alley he'd dragged her into was too narrow for either of them to transform but she was desperate. Clutch had left Harmony, she was sobbing and in pain but alive. That fragger had hurt her and Carmine was going to murder the fragger for what he'd done to her sister.
Just as she broke out of the alley, a servo shot out and she slammed into the mech's bracer, knocking herself flat on her back on the ground. She rolled to her peds, her throat cables throbbing but servos slammed into her back before she could get up. She fell again and a heavy ped dropped onto her tanks, pinning her in place and threatening to crush her thin armor.
"Goin' somewhere femme?" Clutch asked, leaning over her. Orange paint streaked his chassis and Carmine's energon boiled. That was her sister's paint. She snarled, trying to shove his ped off of her but it was no use as he leaned onto her more. A quiet cry escaped her as her plating buckled and Clutch chuckled.
"Ya gonna pay fo' tha'." Ross snarled as he came out of the alley, his bracer pouring energon from where he'd ripped the knife free.
"Givin' ya tha' 'ard of ah tahm." Clutch asked with a feral grin and Ross gave him a murderous look.
"Wha', bored already with 'Armony." He demanded and Carmine shuddered.
"Femme wasn't ah fight'a." He said with a shrug. "Figured Ah'd get in ah little action once ya were done."
"Over mah fraggin' carcass!" Carmine yelled, twisting to try and get free. Clutch wasn't ready for her and she managed to twist out from under him this time. He stumbled with a yell and she scrambled to her peds but her tanks hurt too much. Ross caught her in no time, slamming her against the wall again and pinning her servos over her helm. He brought his free servo across her faceplates in a hard slap that spit her lip plate and left her helm ringing.
"Ya mine now." He snarled, digits digging into her chassis to scrape protoform. "Ya should have ne'va turned meh down when ah offered. Wha' does tha' malfunctioning glitch 'ave tha' makes 'im bett'a then meh."
Her thin armor groaned in protest against his brute strength and the latches cracked. Carmine snarled, kicking both peds up to slam them into Ross's chassis with all her strength. With a surprised yelp he was shoved back and he lost his hold on her. She fell to the ground as he stumbled back and she gasped, her arm wrapped around her chassis.
"Silv'a's more then ya could ev'a beh." She snarled, "Ya tah monst'a! Not 'im!"
"Ya glitch. Ya going tah pay fo' tha'." Ross snarled and she threw an arm up to protect herself as he swung at her again. The blow knocked her to the ground again and she curled up, trying to protect her chassis. He would not touch her, she would terminate before allowing that fragger to rape her.
He was far stronger than her and she was on the ground, Ross pinning her in place with his weight. Carmine's spark hammered in her chassis as he ran a servo down her armor, easily hooking his digits into the broken latches. He leaned down to kiss her hard, her helm smacking the ground with the force.
"Ross!" Clutch yelled from farther down the alley, his voice almost hysterical before there was a deafening roar followed immediately by a scream of pain and a terrible ripping sound. Ross's optics paled several shades as he jerked upright and Carmine laughed.
"Ya done it now!" She laughed, vents heaving for air as she felt herself start to get hysterical.
"Shut up!" He yelled, backhanding her again and she coughed hard, energon flooding the back of her throat. "Ah'll finish with ya after Ah deal with tha' fragger."
He got off her and she gasped for air, rolling onto her side and pulling her legs back up to her chassis. She was too exhausted and the feedback from Harmony hurt too much for her to get back to her peds. She raised her helm when she heard a gun charge and her spark stopped.
"Like tah see tha' fragg'a deal with this." Ross snarled softly, the gun barrel glowing white in the dark. "Fragg'a might be able tah 'andle ah pit spawn drill'a but 'ee ain't bullet proof."
Her spark dropped. Silver could take a pit of a beating, she'd seen what was left of him being dragged from the mines before, but there was no way he could survive a gunshot to the spark. She forced herself to her peds, an arm wrapped around her chassis and the other supporting her against the wall.
"Ya coward." She snarled. "Ya too scared tah take 'em on yaself!"
"Ah'm too smart tah take 'em on mahself." Ross snarled in reply, optics scanning the alley as a powerful engine roared to a near scream-like pitch.
Her comm was damaged from when Ross had first slammed into her and Harmony, she couldn't call for help even if she wanted to but all she could think of was that she couldn't warn Silver.
"Silv'a, don't come." She whispered. "Ee's got ah gun, please, beh careful."
She sensed him the moment he was close enough and her spark lurched as Ross leveled the gun at the alley.
He brought the gun up at the last second, firing wildly into the air as Sterling Silver dropped onto the mech from the rooftop. The shot barely missed the silver mech and Ross twisted out of the way of having one of the serrated knifes stabbed into his neck cables. He threw the other mech off and Silver landed on his peds before diving to the side. The gun, with Silver's knife jammed down the barrel, exploded and Carmine ducked. When she onlined her optics again, Silver was gone.
"Where did tah' fragg'a go." Ross snarled, wiping energon away from his optics. "Fraggit! Ya coward!"
"An' yet, Ah'm not tah mech forcein' mahself on ah femme." Silver snarled from the end of the alley, standing up from where he'd been in a crouch.
"Silv'a…" Carmine trailed off, her spark jumping into her throat.
The mech's plating was splattered with fresh energon, the dull glow a sharp contrast to his silver armor.
"So tah mech can still function." Ross sneered, long blades dropping from subspace. "Ya took tah wrong femme Silv'a."
"She was nev'a yours tah begin with!" Silver roared, launching himself at Ross. He brought his blades up in time and Silver slammed into him, forcing the mech back a step as his serrated blade locked on Ross'. He jumped back as Ross made a slash at his chassis and Silver snarled, backing off a step.
"Wha's tah matt'a 'Unter." Ross demanded, denta bared in a twisted grin as he straightened. "Don't know 'ow tah fight ah mech?"
Ross lunged, diving at the mech before Carmine even realized he'd moved. Silver easily sidestepped the lunge, his blade coming around fast but Ross was ready for him. He slid under Silver's arm before bracing his peds and slamming up into Silver's side, driving the knife up into his shoulder joint.
The screech of pain was deafening and Carmine clutched her helm as the sound made her audios ring.
Ross was off to the side when she dared to look again, energon dripping from the side of his neck cables. So Silver had gotten him.
"Bit different then tah drill'as." Ross taunted as Sterling yanked the knife free from his side, energon pouring from the wound under his left arm. He spun the knife experimentally before baring his fangs in a grin that chilled Carmine to her spark.
"Just needed ah'nother knife." Silver hissed, his voice rough, and Ross stiffened in horror.
"Ee can't feel pain ya pit spawn." Carmine said with a laugh. "Tha' codin' cuts off 'is pain grid. Ya can't 'urt 'em."
Silver was moving again, low and fast and Ross cursed, lunging at the mech and they collided again with a ringing crash. Silver twisted to the side, sliding the blades down Ross' and sending the mech off balance. He'd barely gotten his peds back under him when he threw his helm back with a roar, energon spraying from the back of his leg. Silver was still moving, the stab wound not even slowing him down as he slashed at Ross again. He twisted out of the way, grabbing Silver's bracer and bringing the knife down on his exposed back.
His armor was too thick and the knife caught but didn't penetrate his plating. The look of shock on Ross' faceplates would have made Carmine laugh if it hadn't been Silver he was trying to terminate.
Silver didn't even flinch as he twisted his arm free and slammed the hilt of the knife into Ross' faceplates. He stumbled back, his bracer pressed to his optics as energon from the gash on his helm trickled into his optics.
Sterling dove at him and Ross snarled, slashing at the mech and he dodged to the side. It was a poor block and Carmine saw the moment Ross left himself wide open.
The knife tore into Ross's armor like it was tin. His scream was cut off as Silver gashed him open from hipbolt to mid chassis in a swing that would have cut a smaller mech in half. The knife blade snapped from the force of the blow and Silver stumbled.
Ross dropped to his kneebolts, arm wrapped around his chassis as energon poured from the terminal wound. He heaved for air but all that came was more energon as it flooded his systems. Carmine took a step toward Silver where he was leaning heavily against the wall. Energon was still pouring from his chassis and he coughed hard, energon dripping from his lip plates.
Carmine froze when those piercing white optics snapped to her, a vicious snarl escaping the mech as he straightened, his grip on the knife tightening. She didn't know the mech they belonged to but she knew Silver was in there somewhere.
"Silv'a?" She repeated, taking another step forward. "Ya 'ave tah snap out o' it. Someone will 'ave 'eard tah fight, Enforc'as will be coming, Silv'a please."
Silver snarled, armor flexing as he took a step toward Ross, his gaze snapping between the two of them. The coding was still active, she could see it in his optics, but she trusted Silver.
"Ya remb'a meh right?" She asked, tears still streaming down her faceplates. "Silv'a?"
A powerful engine roared into the alley, tank treads sliding on the ground and Silver snarled in warning.
"Carmine, get away from him!"
She recognized the Iaconian accent as Impactor, Silver's friend from the mine. The big mech skidded to a stop just behind her, optics wide in alarm as he took in the carnage and Ross barely conscious off to the side. By some miracle of Primus he was still half up but choking and coughing on his own energon.
"What have you done?" Impactor asked, optics locked on Silver.
Silver snarled, his gaze sliding toward Ross
"Oh no you don't you fragger." Impactor growled, walking forward. "You've already off'ed Clutch, the others will terminate you for sure if you off' anyone else. This is murder now and you know it."
"Clutch's gone?" Carmine asked, her gaze sliding to Impactor but the mech didn't even look at her.
"Fragger tore him in half." Impactor replied with a snarl. "You spawn of a glitch Silver the frag is wrong with you! Ya trying to get yourself terminated!"
"It wasn' 'is fault!" Carmine yelled, spinning to the mech. Impactor's optics got even wider when he saw the damage to her frame.
"Your chassis-" he started to say, reaching for her. Silver roared, launching himself at the other mech before he could say another word. Impactor reared back in alarm, Silver had never attacked him to her knowledge and with the state of mind he was in now, she had no doubt that Impactor would end up in the same state as the others.
Silver slammed into Impactor at full force and the other mech just managed to keep him from driving the knife into his chassis.
"Sterling Silver ya glitch!" Impactor yelled, barely able to hold the mech's strength back. "Snap out of it fraggit!"
He managed to kick Silver off and the mech hit the ground hard, losing his grip on the knife and it slid to the side. Silver rolled to his peds but paused only half up, his frame shaking as he heaved for air.
He was hurt badly and Carmine's spark reached for the mech the same time her legs moved her forward.
"Carmine-!" Impactor yelled.
Before Silver had a chance to regain his peds, she placed her servos on either side of his helm. He went rigid, optics blazing as he snarled. Carmine could feel every superheated blast of air from his vents hitting her, the smell of fresh energon on his plating, and the hot smell of overworked circuits. It made her spark sing like nothing had before but he didn't even twitch.
"Silv'a, Ah love ya too much tah let ya 'urt anyone else." She whispered before leaning forward to press her lip plates against his.
In shock he went slack, slowly dropping to his kneebolts and his arms limp at his side. Their lip plates parted for just a moment and she saw the moment the Coding took over again.
She kissed him again, harder this time as her arms slid around his neck cables.
"Ah know ya not gonna 'urt meh Silv'a, Ah know it." She whispered though her tears, burying her faceplates in his neck cables and ignoring the energon covering his frame. "Ah know ya not ah monst'a."
She felt his servo on her back but she didn't release him.
"Ca-Carmine?" A weak voice asked.
She jerked back as faded white optics worked to focus on her. A faint smile escaped her before whatever strength she'd been clinging too dissolved and her legs collapsed. Silver's arm tightened around her and she let him support her.
"Hold meh." She whispered into his chassis and she felt his arms wrap around her. At that moment she knew she was safe. It was all over.
She could hear that powerful spark pounding through his chassis and she pressed into the sound, wanting it to fill her frame and spark.
"Carmine Ah'm-"
"Stop talkin'." She whispered, hugging him tighter. His own arms tightened around her in response and she felt him press his helm against the top of hers. "Just 'old meh. An' nev'a let go."
"Ah won't." Silver replied, "Ah won't ever let ya go."
Sirens screamed into the alley but Carmine ignored them as Silver bent his helm forward to kiss her.
Any questions, PLEASE ask me, this was gonna be a full length side story but i just couldn't everything in order so it ended up with just the climax happening.
The next one should be a lot better, but no promises. :) after all, this is a war story.
See ya later!
