Sakura's P.O.V.
Sakura stood behind her bedroom door. The tears ran down her face. Her body felt as if it was dead.
She just flashed out on Sasuke.
In the middle of them having sex.
Sex.
They were having sex.
She was enjoying it.
She wanted to.
But right in the heat of the moment all that came crashing down.
She thought that it was Rin. She really thought it was Rin.
Zabuza and Sasori even flashed across her mind.
All three of them had raped her.
Sakura was tainted.
Sasuke didn't deserve her.
"What the HELL am I doing wrong Sakura?" Sasuke yelled out. Sakura didn't say a word. She kept quiet. He had to leave. He had too.
She heard the heavy footsteps fade away and the door slam closed.
The pink haired girl fell against the door, slowly sliding down to the floor.
She broke down.
She was an emotional disaster. Everything was happening all at once. As soon as everything started to cool down it was as if it started to heat up again. The fire refused to go out. The flames just got worse by the minute. And they were ready to burn Sakura alive.
Sakura stood up from the floor. She made her way to the bathroom. She needed to shower. She turned the water on and let it run. Smoke started to form as the water had gotten hotter by the second. She removed her bra, which was the only piece of clothing left on her, and walked into the shower. The water was steaming hot. Sakura could feel her skin burning. She needed to get clean. She needed to get rid of his touch.
"Wait… No…" Sakura wrapped her arms around herself.
She didn't need to. Sasuke didn't rape her.
He didn't rape her.
He didn't rape her.
He didn't rape her.
"Sasuke didn't rape me. He didn't… He didn't…" She broke down in tears again.
For the first time in four long years… Sakura wasn't raped.
She was having sex.
Without being forced.
She was enjoying it.
But why did they come to mind?
Why?
They ruined everything.
Rin ruined everything.
It's his fault.
Sakura turned the water off after washing herself.
Her skin was bright pink. She walked over to the bathroom mirror, cleaning it off so that she could see her reflection.
The bags under her eyes were worst than before.
She saw the pain in her own eyes.
'You know you just screwed up everything.' Her inner self had said. 'He's going to leave you now.'
"I don't blame him if he does." Sakura crossed her arms across her chest, hugging herself.
'This could have been avoided.'
"Yeah and would you like to tell me how it could have been?" Sakura snapped.
'Suicide duh. But Sasuke just had to pop up and be a hero.'
"Riri doesn't deserve death. She's innocent."
'And when Sasuke and Itachi kick you the hell out in a few days where the hell are you guys going to go? You'll have no choice but to go back to your mother's. And she will start selling you again. Probably even start selling Riri.'
"No one will ever touch my child!"
'You can't protect her forever Sakura.'
"Why don't you just shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" She said putting her hands over her ears.
'You did this to yourself.'
"I didn't do a damn thing! Rin did this! It's all his fault why my mother doesn't love me!" With saying that Sakura punched the bathroom mirror. It shattered into what looked like a thousand pieces. She held her bleeding knuckle in her hand trying to apply pressure. The crimson liquid was dripping from its wound. She could still feel shards in her skin.
Sakura had worse wounds.
Her mental ones…
She fell to the floors and placed herself in fetal position.
She wept.
Sakura was tired. Physically and emotionally.

It was morning. The sun beamed brightly onto Sakura's face, waking her up from her sleep. She cried herself to sleep once again. It was Saturday. They didn't have school today. Riri didn't have daycare.
'Maybe I can catch on on some sleep.' Sakura said to herself. Sleep was something she never really gotten. Some good rest was a fantasy to Sakura. She rolled over in the bed, stretching herself across the bed. In the next second Sakura jumped up out of the bed. Riri was missing.
"Riri?" Sakura called out.
She checked under the bed.
In the closet.
The bathroom.
Front room.
Riri was nowhere to be found.
Sakura slipped on some jogging pants and a t-shirt and dashed out of the cottage house.
"Riri!" She yelled out. Sakura was panicking and full of worry.
Did someone take her?
If so, then who?
She had to find her.
She promised herself she would never let anything happen to Riri.
It felt as if that promise was being broke right in front of her.
Riri was gone.
Sakura ran into the main house.
Where could she have gone?
Where?
'God, please help me.'
All of a sudden, Sakura heard giggling coming from the living room. It sounded just like her small child.
Pacing, Sakura made her way into the living room.
There Riri was.
With Itachi.
He had the small child in his hands up in the air. Riri was laughing like there was no tomorrow. Itachi was tossing her in the air. Her pink hair wasn't up so it was all over the place. Riri was still in her unicorn pajamas.
She looked as if she was having so much fun.
And Itachi…
Oh my gosh…
For the first time Sakura actually saw him smiling.
He always had this dull expression on his face. Just like Sasuke.
But there was actually a smile on his face this time.
Itachi noticed that she was in the room. He put Riri down on the ground.
That dull expression came back.
"Mimi!" Riri yelled out as she ran towards Sakura. She quickly picked up the child and gave her a tight hug.
Riri pointed at Itachi. "Unc." She said.
Sakura shook her head. "No Riri. That's not your uncle."
"Unc!" Riri said debating.
"She seems to think I am for some reason." Itachi had said. His face was blank. "You need to be more alert with her. Something could have happened to her if I wasn't here."
"I'm sorry."
Itachi walked up to Sakura. He stared at her with those red eyes of his. They were a deep scarlet red with three black markings circling his pupil. They were so beautiful and rare. It was as if they were hypnotizing Sakura with his gaze.
"Stop staring at me." Itachi said breaking the silence.
"Uh- I wasn't trying- I mean…" Sakura catch herself blushing. She was embarrassed.
"Can you cook?"
"What?" Sakura said confusedly. She was caught off guard by his question.
"Can. You. Cook. ?" He said with aggravation in his tone.
Sakura was getting nervous. Itachi already didn't like her as it is.
"Umm.. Y-yeah. I can."
"Come help me in the kitchen."
"Huh?"
"Stop acting slow and follow me." The Uchiha grabbed a hold of Riri and put her around his neck. The child let out a yelp of joy. He then proceeded to the kitchen. Sakura followed right behind.
"You're going to help me make brunch this morning." The Uchiha said sitting the small child on the counter. He opened the kitchen pantry and took two aprons down that were hanging on the door. He handed Sakura one and put on the other. Sakura tied her hair into a bun.
"What happened to your hand?" Itachi questioned looking at her bandages.
"It was an accident…" Sakura said avoiding eye contact.
Itachi just looked at her. It was as if he was reading her. Gosh. She hated how both brothers acted alike.
"Umm. Can I ask why are we making brunch?" She asked awkwardly.
Itachi looked over at her with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Okay. You don't have to answer. You and Sasuke with those facial expressions kill me sometimes." She said trying not to roll her eyes. Itachi was quite more serious than Sasuke. She didn't want him to hate her more than he already did.
"My wife is coming home this afternoon. I know she's going to be hungry when she arrives."
"Your what?"
"Is it such a surprise that I'm married?"
"No. It's just that Sasuke never mentioned it." Now that Sakura thought about it he never really mentioned anything about Itachi at all. What was the problem?
She looked down at his left hand. There was a white gold wedding band on his ring finger.
"That's expected." Itachi went over to the fridge and took out the usual stuff like eggs, milk and cheese. "Get the french bread off the counter and cut out all the bread that's in the middle."
Sakura did as she was told. They started cooking together. For awhile it was was just awkward silence in between the two. Sakura watched Itachi cook in amazement.
Who knew he was like a skilled chef?
"Eat! Eat!" Riri yelled out.
Itachi took a piece of turkey bacon and gave it to her. "It's hot so blow it."
"Thanks Unc." The small child said giggling. Her green orbs had so much love in them as she looked at Itachi.
The same way she looked at Sasuke.
Did Riri really care for them that much?
Sakura and Itachi were basically done when they heard the front door open. Itachi's face seemed as if it had lit up. The Uchiha snatched off his apron before walking out of the kitchen.
Sakura took Riri off the counter. She took off her apron. Her and the small child walked toward the front room. She wanted to meet this mystery.
What did she look like?
How did she act?
Sakura feared that she was just as emotionless as both Uchiha brothers.
She prepared for the most.
Sakura and Riri stood a few feet away from Itachi. His wife stood right in front of him.
She had a smile that lit up the entire house. Her skin was fair. Her long brown hair fell down her back with bangs that she tucked behind her ear. Her eyes were dark but were filled with love. She had a beauty mark right under her right eye. She wore a long sleeved gray dress that stopped right above her knees. She noticed the bump that was her belly.
She was pregnant.
Sakura couldn't help but stare. She was so beautiful.
The woman turned her focus from Itachi to them. Her smile faded away for a second.
"Oh hello." Her voice was soft spoken and mellow. She walked over to Sakura and Riri. "These must be the two young ladies you told me about."
She greeted Sakura with a tight hug. She was shocked at first but then realized that this was just something normal.
The woman let go of Sakura. "Where are my manners? My name is Izumi. I'm Itachi's wife." She said blushing. "Sakura right? You are so beautiful."
"Thanks… Uh. This is Riri." Sakura said introducing the small child.
Izumi bent down. She held out a hand towards her. "Hi Riri. It's so nice to get to meet you. You are just so precious!" She said squealing. Riri grabbed a hold of her index finger then let it go. Izumi stood up and took a deep breathe. "I'm sorry. I'm just so excited with this baby. Itachi and I have been trying for so long and now we are finally blessed with our own."
"Izumi." Itachi said putting his arm around her shoulder. "You should go sit down. I'll go get your bags."
"Okay okay. But just to let you know, I am four months pregnant not eight. I can still do plenty by myself."
"You are about to enter your second trimester next month. You need to start relaxing."
"I will relax after I spit this baby out. The more I move around the better the labor will be." Izumi argued.
Itachi just shook his head in defeat. He left outside to retrieve Izumi's luggage leaving Izumi alone with Sakura and Riri.
"So you're Sasuke's girlfriend?" She asked trying to start small talk.
"I suppose so." Sakura answered. She really didn't want to talk about Sasuke right now.
"You suppose? It must be serious if you moved in over here."
"It's just temporary."
"Itachi explained the situation to me." Izumi said.
Sakura's eyes grew wide.
"Don't worry. He only told me. I'm not about to rat you out to Sasuke. That's not my place. When you feel comfortable enough to tell Sasuke then you tell him."
Sakura stood there in silence.
"Oh by the way, don't look at Itachi as a threat. He's overly protective of Sasuke. So if he seems like he has this vendetta against you it's just because he doesn't want to see Sasuke get hurt."
"That explains a lot. I thought he hated me for the longest." Sakura said feeling somewhat relieved.
"Itachi could never hate anyone. If that was the case he wouldn't have you staying here." Izumi put her hands on Sakura's shoulders. "Let's become good friends Sakura." She said smiling at her.
Her smile was so innocent.
Sakura smiled back at her. "Sounds like a bet."
Itachi came back in with five bags in his hands. They seemed heavy to Sakura's view but Itachi had it seem like he was carrying pillows.
Izumi turned as she heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
'Sasuke…'
"Sasuke!" Izumi said walking over to him. She gave him the biggest hug. "My my. Have you gotten cocky." She said joking.
Sasuke smirked at her. "You're looking pretty heavy there." He said placing his hands on her belly. "I bet $100 it's a boy."
"And I bet $200 it's a girl!"
"We should be getting to the dining room before brunch gets cold." Itachi said stopping everyone in their tracks.
"Oh yes! Sasuke. Sakura. Please join us." Izumi looked at Sasuke with puppy dog eyes. He looked over at the pink haired girl. His eyes were cold. Sakura felt a chill go down her spine.
Sasuke sighed. "Sorry Izumi but I have to go to work this morning. I was called in."
"Okay. But you better join us next time!"
"Hn." He said walking out the door.
"Sakura. Don't tell me you're bailing out on us too?"
"I'm far from a prude like Sasu…" He voice trailed off. Itachi gave her the death stare.
"Uh… Come on Riri let go have some brunch…"
The four dined together. Sakura kept quiet most of the time while she listened to Itachi and Izumi conversant. Izumi tried to be friendly with Riri but the small child wanted to be around Itachi more than anything.
From the beginning of the pregnancy until now Itachi has been trying to talk Izumi into staying home until after the baby was older. From the information Sakura heard Izumi was a flight attendant. And she loved her job, which was the reason why she put up such a fight with Itachi with quitting her job.
Sakura could feel the chemistry in between them. They were so in love with one another. And to be honest, this was the only time she saw the soft side of Itachi. It was as if Izumi was Itachi's light. She brought out the soft side of him.
Is this what Sasuke saw in Sakura?
Love?
Starting a family?
Marriage?
Is this what Sasuke wanted?
But did Sakura trust him enough to want the same?
She went back and asked herself the same question she asked over a million times: Did she love him?

Sasuke's P.O.V.
Sasuke started his car and drove off. He felt bad for lying but they didn't need to know what he was about to do.
Or who he was about to meet up with.
He had a three hour drive to his destination.
Sasuke wasn't going to be back in Konoha until tonight.
This was important business he needed to take care of.
He was back at this shady town he once lived at. He was young and stupid. The 14 year old him stayed out here for for three months until Itachi and the chief of police found him half dead. Nearly overdosed on taking heroin for the first time. Around that time he was extremely rebellious. He was cautious now and way smarter. He hated that he came back to this city.
But he needed to know what Sakura was hiding.
He been planned this for weeks now.
He needed to know.
He finally arrived to his destination. The only gated house in town.
There was a man on the opposite side of the gate. His ash gray hair was tied into a ponytail. He was tall and wore black circular rimmed glasses.
Sasuke exited his car and walked up to the gate. "Kabuto."
"I didn't expect you to actually show up Sasuke. It's been four long years. You've grown up a lot from last time I saw you."
"Cut the crap. Do you have it or not?"
"Still the same Sasuke I knew back then." Kabuto took out an envelope and slid it through the gate bars. "I must ask Sasuke what's so special about this girl you had me do research on?"
"That's none of your business. I paid you to do one job. Not to ask questions." Sasuke retrieved the envelope and started to leave when Kabuto called out to him.
"Don't you want to tell a Lord Orochimaru hello?" He asked smirking.
"Tell him I said piss off." Sasuke said as he entered his car and drove off.
The ride back home seemed longer than it was riding out there. It was because he was eager to see what information Kabuto had.
He didn't head straight home. Knowing Izumi she wanted him to spend family time together. It would have to be another day.
Sasuke parked in the back parking lot of his job. He turned the engine off to his Mustang.
The envelope sat in his lap. Now he didn't feel like opening it. Was he actually scared of finding out some deep dark secret of hers?
Was it drugs?
Was her mother involved?
What the hell was it?
Sasuke couldn't wait anymore.
He opened up the envelope. His onyx eyes were wide as he looked at the pictures. It was screenshots of security footage from a strip club. And Sakura was the stripper. He looked at the time and date that was on the picture. This was months ago.
Sakura was a damn stripper.
Out of rage Sasuke threw the photos on the passenger seat.
What else was she hiding from him? There were more papers inside the envelope.
He took them out.
Medical records.
At 14 years old young Sakura Haruno gave birth to a five pound three ounce baby girl named Riri Haruno.
Sasuke put the papers down in disbelief.
Riri wasn't Sakura's sister. She was her daughter.
He went through more of her records. At 15 years old Sakura had a miscarriage due to blunt force trauma to her abdomen.
It was self-inflicted.
"What the hell…" Sasuke mumbled.
This is what Sakura was hiding from him.
It wasn't just the abuse from her mother.
It was about Riri as well.
She lied to him from the very beginning.
What else did she lie about?
What else was she hiding?
Sasuke needed answers from Sakura herself.
But most importantly...
He needed to know who Riri's father is.
