The Three Little 'Pigs' and the Big Bad Gabriel

Kevin was going to kill Charlie. One month ago, the redhead had rushed into the house, waving a flier excitedly. The local school was holding a community play and she had not only signed herself up, but Kevin and the angels too. The angels and Charlie all got signed up for parts in the play while Kevin signed up for tech and set support. It wasn't too bad until Lila called Charlie, saying that she was sick. Charlie (being the good girlfriend she was) had left instantly to aid her sick girlfriend, giving Kevin her role in the play instead.

The play was going to happen later in the evening and Kevin was freaking out. He could barely hold a paint brush still enough to finish some of the sets. In a matter of hours he was going to be pushed onstage in front of hundreds of people, something Kevin really didn't know if he could do.

"Kevin, can you help with my lines?" a little voice questioned from behind. Kevin jumped in surprise and quickly turned around, eyes falling onto Balthazar. The angel was already in costume. A little pig nose was strapped to his face and pig ears were pinned in his hair. In his hands he was clutching his script copy of the Three Little Pigs. Kevin smiled reassuringly at the angel and waved at him to go ahead. Balthazar cleared his throat and began to speak. He said his lines with precision, stopping to wait for Kevin to stumble out his own lines as the brick-pig or Gabriel's as the big bad wolf.

When Balthazar suddenly stopped saying his lines, Kevin frowned in confusion. He looked up at the angel. Kevin's eyes widened in surprise, finding Balthazar staring ahead with a glazed over look in his eyes from his own copy of the script.

Kevin's brush splattered to the ground and he raced to the angel, pulling Balthy into his arms. He ran a hand up and down Balthazar's back, trying to sooth the angel. After a minute so, the angel's eyes brightened and he came back to the land of the conscious.

"You okay?" Kevin asked, pulling back a little to look the angel over. Balthazar nodded, rubbing at his eyes with a fist.

"There's an angel here," he told the prophet. "Two actually." Kevin's eyes widened and he quickly got to his feet, bringing Balthazar with him.

"Let's go find your brothers and make sure they're okay," he whispered, carrying Balthazar towards the main stage. Gabriel and Cas were there with the play director. The director was rubbing at Gabriel's back gently while forcing a cup of water into Cas' hands. "Hey!" Kevin shouted. "Everything alright, Mr. Philips?" Mr. Philips, a young man with shaggy brown hair and light brown eyes, looked up at him, a smile ghosting his freckled cheeks.

"Everything is fine, Mr. Tran," Philips reassured. "I believe the lights were just getting to them." Kevin nodded and sat down next to the angels, setting Balthazar down between his brothers. The four all shared a look, understanding passing between each other. Kevin looked out into the empty seats, flinching when the old wooden doors opened. A man walked through the door, pushing a green stroller. Kevin waved a hand, motioning to the man.

"I thought no one was allowed in until Showtime?" Philips turned, smiling when he saw the man. The man's eyes fell on Philips and he smiled too. Philips waved at him and the man pulled the stroller over.

"This…" Philips began with a growing smile when the man reached them. "Is my partner Henry." Henry waved at them shyly and then motioned at the stroller. A two year old boy and girl were napping in the stroller, thumbs pressed into their mouths and blankets wrapped around their tiny bodies.

"This is our son Amado and our daughter Gail." Gabriel, Balthazar, and Castiel straightened on hearing the name for the daughter. Kevin watched them in the corner of his eye, glancing between them and the two, two year olds. It made sense if the angels were them. Both children were obviously adopted, the right age, and their backs were hidden by the thick blanket burritoed around them. The only thing Kevin didn't understand was why the angels reacted to Gail's name and not Amado's. Still, they had obviously found their angels.

Kevin glanced around; making sure no one else was around. There wasn't anybody. It was just them. Kevin gazed towards the angels and they nodded at him. He nodded back and Gabriel clicked his fingers together. Their wings instantly manifested; revealing black, silver, and gold feathers. Philips and Henry stared wide eyed at the three and sub-glanced at their own little ones. Kevin smirked, they were right. Gingerly, Henry pulled back the blanket a little on his son and daughter, revealing their bright and colorful wings. It was like looking at a cherry tree orchard for the boy's wings. They were streaked with delicate whites, reds, and pinks. The girls were the color of yellow roses.

Henry covered the baby angels' wings again and Gabriel un-manifested his and his brothers' wings.

"So, you found angels on your doorstep too?" Philips questioned. Kevin shook his head.

"Not exactly." Kevin explained. "Gabe, Balthy, and Cas have been with us for years." Kevin paused then, pulling out his phone and sending a quick text to Dean. "The rest of our family when they come tonight can explain better than I can and they can bring supplies you'll need." Henry frowned.

"Supplies?" he questioned.

"Just angel care stuff," Kevin told them. "Stuff for their wings and all that." The couple relaxed slightly then and Kevin looked to the angels while also pointing at the sleeping babies. "Hey, how come you reacted to her name, but not his?" he questioned, pointing directly at Amado.

"That's not his angel name," Gabriel explained.

"We didn't recognize it," Cas added.

"His real name…" Balthazar joined in, playing with his fake pig nose. "…is really long and complicated."

"That's exactly why we just call him Amado," Phillips responded. He reached out to the two sleeping angels, touching Amado's cheek lightly before doing the same to Gail. "When they first showed up we had no idea what to do," Philips told Kevin and the angels. "We worried that we'd hurt them or something. We couldn't tell or ask anybody for help and risk the kids being called freaks. God knows we both know how that feels. We just started taking care of them –"

"Philips," a young lady interrupted. "Play starts in an hour." Philip's eyes widened and he looked at his watch.

"Already?!" he gasped, hurrying to his feet. He quickly kissed Henry's cheek and the two sleeping angels in the stroller, before turning back to Kevin and the angels. "Come along. We've got a show to perform!" Kevin's stomach twisted. 'Oh right, the play.'

Dean, Sam, and Bobby sat in the front row with Henry. The team had gotten Kevin's text about the little cupids and had packed the Impala full of supplies for the new angels.

Henry was bounced Amado in his arms while Sam tickled at Gail's sides. The little angels giggled and pulled at Sam's hair and Bobby's beard, loving the two hunters.

The lights dimmed after a few more minutes and everyone went silent. Philips' voice crackled over the speakers and he announced the play and asked for no flash photography. The curtains opened then and everyone watched as Cas, Balthazar, and Kevin stepped onto stage as piglets. On the other side of the stage, a little girl with black curls and a pink dress stepped up with a book in hand.

"PIGGY!" Gail and Amado squealed and Henry hushed them softly. The cupids went silent and focused on the play again.

The little girl in pink opened up her book and started narrating the story. She told the audience about the little pigs venturing out to build their homes and the lights slowly faded off of her and focused on the little pigs on center stage.

"I'm going to build a house of straw!" Castiel chimed proudly, rushing towards a pile of fake straw. Balthazar scoffed at his brother and rushed to his own pile.

"Straw? Are you insane?!" Balthazar picked up a prop stick and poked Cas. "I'm going to build mine of sticks!" Castiel rolled his eyes and the two started a heated fight about which substance was best. Then, Kevin stepped up, the lights focusing on him.

"I...I…" Kevin bit his lip, glancing at his family in the front row. They all gave him a thumbs up and the two cupids waved at him excitedly, eyes sparkling at him in awe. Kevin forced a smile and took a deep breath, pushing back his nerves. "I'm going to build a house of bricks!" Both Balthazar and Castiel froze then, spinning around to face Kevin. They were silent for a second before suddenly bursting into laughter.

"Bricks?!" the two shouted. "Bricks?!" Kevin gave the two a look and marched over to his pile of plastic bricks.

"I'll sh...show them," Kevin huffed. "I'll build the strongest house they've ever seen!" The lights faded off of the angels and prophet then, focusing on the little girl again while the props department set up the houses in the background.

"The next day the big bad wolf came along the road, spotting a straw, stick, and brick house," the little girl said, closing the book when the lights faded from her and went back again to the angels and prophet. Three cardboard houses were set up by them and the three were talking animatedly to each other in front of the buildings.

"ARWOOOOO!" Dramatic music played as the howl echoed through the theater and the 'piglets' froze, eyes widening in fear. Gabriel stepped out from behind the back curtain then, dressed in a fur coat with wolf ears pinned in his hair. He even had a little tale. Gabriel looked at his brothers and Kevin, licking his lips hungrily.

"One...two...THREE PIGS!" Gabriel growled excitedly, rubbing his hands together. "Oh, what a scrumptious sight!" Kevin and the angels screamed then and ran into their cardboard houses, peeking out the window and shaking with fear.

"NO!" Gail screamed from her spot in Sam's lap.

"No hurt the piggies!" her brother shouted too. Sam and Henry quickly hushed the little ones, but the two didn't calm down. They sat tense in the two men's arms, eyes wide as they waited.

Gabriel cleared his throat and skipped over to the straw house where piglet Cas was hiding. Gabriel knocked on the door shouting,

"Little pig, little pig, let me come in!" Cas stuck his head out of the fake window of his house then.

"N...no," he stuttered. "Not b...by the hairs on my ch...chiney chin chin! I will not let you in!" Gabriel tutted then and took a step back from the door.

"Then I'll huff..." He took another step back. "...and I'll puff…" Gabe took in a deep breath. "...and I'll blow your house in!" Gabriel let out a huge puff of air and the house toppled over, leaving poor Cas without a home. He let out a cry as Gabriel lunged for him, but got away, running into the stick house where Balthazar hid. Gabriel let out an irritated huff, but walked up to the stick house, knocking the door hard.

"Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" he shouted. Cas and Balthazar stuck their heads out of the two fake windows of the stick house.

"Not b...by the hairs on our...ch...chiney chin chins!" the two shouted. Gabriel rolled his eyes and glanced towards the audience.

"Why must my food always talk back?" Sighing, Gabriel stepped back, puffing his chest up more than he had for the straw house. "If you won't let me in, then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!" With that, Gabriel let out another huge burst of air and the stick house shook before falling to the ground. Gabriel lunged again, grabbing hold of Balthazar.

"NO! Run piggies!" Amado shouted.

Castiel grabbed one of the sticks on the ground and smacked Gabriel on the head with it. Gabriel let out a pained howl and let go of Balthazar. Together, Cas and Balthazar ran to the house of brick and hid inside. Gabriel let out a low hiss as he rubbed at his head and glared at the last house.

"Nowhere to run now!" he howled while hurrying to the door. Hand wound tight in a fist, Gabe pounded at the door. "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" Cas, Balthy, and Kevin stuck their heads out of the windows of the house like they had with the other two. While Balthazar and Castiel shook in fear, Kevin held his head up high as he glared down at Gabriel.

"Not by the hairs on our chiney chin chins!" Gabe smirked darkly then and stepped back, sucking in his biggest breath of air.

"Then I'll huff and puff and blow your house in!" He blasted the house then and both Gail and Amado covered their eyes, not wanting to see the pigs attacked. Henry patted them gently.

"Look," he whispered. The two reluctantly opened their eyes, mouths dropping when they saw that the house was still standing. Gabriel looked just as shocked. He blew at the house again and again, but the house didn't budge. Gail and Amado cheered in relief and the rest of the audience joined them, clapping happily.

"No matter how much the wolf huffed and puffed…" the girl in pink read from her book. "...the house would not fall, but the wolf was smart and quickly came up with a plan." The audience watched then as Gabriel pulled a ladder from behind a fake bush and pushed it up against the brick house.

"I'll climb down the chimney," Gabriel cackled as he started to climb. "They won't be able to get away then!" Balthazar and Cas whimpered within the house.

"We're doomed!" Balthazar cried, throwing his head back and covering his eyes with a hand dramatically. Cas covered his face, pretending to weep.

"He's going to eat us!" Cas sobbed. Kevin quickly hushed the two.

"Calm down! Calm down! We can still fight this," Kevin reassured them. He looked around the house, eyes falling on the pot hanging in the fireplace. "That's it!" he chimed, startling the other two. "Come on! Help me start a fire!" The three hurried to the fireplace then and made a fire just as Gabriel began to climb down the chimney. A cry of pain burst from Gabriel's lips when the flames touched his furry body and he shot out of the chimney, running off stage. Castiel, Balthazar, and Kevin walked out of their house then, cheering happily. The little girl in pink stepped to the center of the stage, book closed.

"With a burnt tail and soot covered coat, the woof ran away and never returned. The pig that built the house of brick welcomed his brothers into his home and the two piglets named their brother's home the strongest of them all."

The curtains fell shut and the audience stood, clapping their hands and whistling. The group in the front was the loudest of them all, calling out encores and praising their little pigs and wolf. The curtains opened up after a while, revealing a long line of people. Kevin, the angels and the little girl stood proudly in the center with wide grins stretching across their faces. Next to them on either side were the props and light department people. They bowed together, splitting down the middle when Philips walked out from behind the curtain. He waved out at the crowd and Henry got up from his seat, carrying Amado and Gail onto the stage. He passed the two angels to his partner and both cupids hugged Philips heard, kissing his cheek and then moving to the side so Henry could give him a kiss too. The audience roared, claps growing and everyone took one more bow before disappearing back stage, feeling both relief and pride for their grand performance.

Gail is the cherub from S8E23 and you all remember the nude cupid from Bloody Valentine. Since his name was never announced I named him Amado, meaning 'loves god'. Thank you, Poppywhisker99, for the request.
