Author's notes are pointless here, wouldn't you agree?

I woke up suddenly from a nightmare. Another nightmare, I should say. I closed my eyes, but there didn't seem to be much hope of getting back to sleep. I opened them again, startled by the movement of the train. That's right, a train. I was moving away. I recalled hastily rushing onto a train, buying a ticket to the town farthest from my hometown.
I looked out the window to see it was pretty light out. I guess I slept pretty late. I looked at the train passengers around me. Many were already up, though the people sitting near me weren't. Next to me was a short girl with a red ribbon in her caramel-colored hair, leaning against the window and snoring softly. Across from us was another, taller girl, who had messy dark blue hair with a crescent moon hairclip and bandages on her face. She was snoring a bit more loudly. She seemed to be the only person in the train car with a full seat to herself. Across the aisle from us were, of course, four other people.
First was a black-haired, green-eyed girl who, for some reason, was barefoot. She was staring off into space, jumping but not bothering to look up at any loud noises the other passengers made. Sitting next to her was another black-eyed girl with her blonde hair in a bun. She was silently looking out the window; her face seemed oddly to lack any sort of emotion. Next, sitting across from those two, was a boy whose blue eyes barely seemed to peek out from under his hair. He seemed just as silent as the black-eyed girl, and his eyes were fixed to the ground. Next to him sat a tan girl with long, wavy dark brown hair and blue eyes. She seemed to be trying to make conversation with the people around her with little luck. The black-haired girl was willing to talk, but she wasn't looking at her. The blonde-haired girl just ignored her, while the boy seemed reluctant to talk.
Since I didn't have anything else to do, I decided to join their conversation. "Hello," I greeted. "Are you moving to Willow Falls as well?"
The tan girl smiled and looked toward me. "Yeah, we are. What's your name? I'm Evy."
"My name is Victoria. It's a pleasure to meet you, Evy." I turned to the other girl. "And what's your name?"
"Who, me?" she asked, looking around.
"Um, yes," I answered.
She seemed to focus her gaze on me, but she didn't really look me in the eyes. "My name is Mia," she answered, smiling. "And, uh, just to avoid confusion, I… can't really see. I'm blind."
I was surprised for a moment, but I got over it. That explained why she didn't seem to look directly at anyone.
"And what about you guys?" I asked the other two.
The boy glanced at me, but then brought his gaze back to the ground. "I'm Jack…" he muttered.
"My name is Paranoia Leaf," said the other girl, maintaining eye contact as she said it. Then her gaze drifted back to the window.
I didn't get far into conversation with Evy and Mia before I heard someone murmuring. The girl sitting across from me seemed to be talking in her sleep. "No, I've got a stuffed bear… we'll take over the world… and force high schoolers to kill each other…" she said. Her voice was quiet but clear. The three of us stared at her in surprise, and she seemed to get the attention of Paranoia and Jack as well. "No, I don't ship it… they're the brOTP… maybe 'cause I hate that character…"
"…Should we wake her?" Evy asked after a few moments.
"Part of me says we should, and part of me… really wants to see what else she'll say," Mia answered, giggling.
"Who has two thumbs and a dead brother? Prob'ly you… No, I didn't reset… Let them be happy…"
I nudged her a bit, which seemed to cause her to wake up a bit. "No… don't make me face him… I lied, I did reset…"
I tried to shake her awake. She opened her eyes, and then sat up straight in surprise. "Ack! People!"
"Are you alright? You were talking in your sleep," Evy asked, a bit concerned.
"Ah, right, I'm on a train," she yawned. She didn't seem to notice Evy's question. "I forgot for a moment. Anyways-" She turned toward Evy. "-Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for asking."
"What on earth were you dreaming about?" I asked.
"Not sure," she answered. "I have a tendency to forget most of my dreams. Though, I think I remember something about a character from my favorite video game…" She shook her head. "Anyway, my name's Ellie, and I'll probably be one of the weirdest people you'll meet.
We each introduced ourselves, including the girl next to me, Marina, who happened to wake up within that time.
"You know, you kind of remind me of someone from my dream," Ellie said to Jack. "Except… he was a skeleton. He was also wearing a scarf, and he had this weird blue glowey eye thing. And I think he was trying to kill me because I killed his brother or something."
Jack stayed mostly silent, but he stared in confusion at Ellie.
"So… what was that part about taking over the world with a stuffed bear and forcing high school students to kill each other?" Mia asked.
"I don't remember that part, but that sounds like something from another video game I like," Ellie answered. "I won't go into much detail, but… Well, that's basically what happens. I'd tell you the name of the game, but I think the author wants to leave the reference somewhat ambiguous."
"Um, what?" Evy asked.
Before she got an answer, we heard the sound of a monkey screeching. We turned to the front of the car as the conductor rushed in, panicked. "Um… I'm sorry to report that-eek-there's been a slight mix-up in the train schedules…"
"What kind of a mix-up…?" a girl with blonde hair and turquoise eyes asked nervously.
Marina looked out the window and screamed. "T-there's another train on the track… and it's heading straight toward us!"
Everyone on the train seemed to panic at once. Many people screamed, a couple fainted, and a few tried desperately to stay calm.
"C-can't you stop the train?!" Evy cried.
The conductor shook his head gravely. "It's far too late, miss. Eek! Even if we both contact each other and stopped our trains right now, there's no way we could stop in time. Eek!"
"We're going to die!" a girl with bright blue hair yelled. "We're going to freakin' DIE!"
"Everyone, jump out a window!" Ellie instructed, opening the window next to our seats. She leapt out, followed by Marina and I. Others followed out their own windows.
We fell into a river just as the trains collided. Most of the luggage spilled out into the river with the people.
"So, uh… do you guys think there's a train station nearby?" Ellie asked.
"I think there's one in that direction," Jack answered, pointing.
"I think we should all walk together," Evy suggested.
Everyone who could gathered their luggage from the water and climbed out of the river. And so, our journey began…
WRITING TWO WHOLE PARAGRAPHS OF CHARACTER DESCRIPTION IS HARRRRD.
