A/N: Hello there people! First I want to apologize for the last chapter. I was in a hurry, and I needed to end it at a certain time, and the ideas just came and I was trying to put it all together to make some sense. I noticed that it has some misspelling, and I'm sorry. I'm correcting it right now. Hope you enjoy this last chapter, and thank you for continuing to read my work, even with all the late updates, and for excusing my grammar (I'm trying to get better at it).
Chapter XXXIV
Epilogue
In the end all I have to say is that she gives me luck. All that happened that year, and the accident, kind of influenced the rest of my life. It was really awkward the first few months. I had to gain Hermione's trust, and I must tell it wasn't half as easy as in my dream.
We stayed friends for almost a year, before I could manage to take her to a date. We had a great time, but by the next morning all the wizarding world seemed to know that. We couldn't spend enough time together after the Prophet so kindly started rumors that I only wanted the Princess of Gryffindor to clear my name, and get into the graces of the Ministry.
And to add to the public response, that I might say wasn't the best, I had to face that stupid Weasel trying to forbid me to see Hermione. Now that was infuriating to say the least, but it kind of paid off when Hermione heard of it, and jinxed the bloke for even assuming that he could make decisions for her.
Potter was another story. He seemed surprisingly calm with the whole thing, but still threatened to end my life if I made any mistake that could hurt Hermione's feelings or endanger her life. It was acceptable. I wasn't expecting his approval, or any in the ginger family.
But after they realized that I was staying for some time, I was allowed to participate on the family's gatherings. Molly talked only if necessary with me in the beginning, but we had a long talk one morning, when I got there without telling anyone, and apologized for everything.
She was the second person to know that I was going to ask Hermione's hand in marriage. The first was my mother. She gave me the brightest smile I have ever seen since my father got into the whole Death Eater business. After telling Molly everyone knew about it by the time I got home that night.
I don't know how Hermione didn't, at least I think she didn't. Her surprised face was real enough, and the fact that she choked in wine when I asked for her hand at dinner confirmed my suspicions.
After she said yes and we were almost in her bedroom, Blaise appeared out of nowhere in her fireplace, demanding to know why I didn't tell him that I was planning on getting married. I still remember Hermione's scream when she noticed she was almost naked in front of him. I laughed for almost five minutes.
Blaise was mad at me until one week before the wedding. I let him throw a party for us, and managed to get him really happy before introducing Luna. They were together by the time me and Hermione got back from the honeymoon.
And that was a really good trip. We spend two months traveling. First to Paris, classics can never go wrong, then a lot of places in Italy and Spain and Germany, we ended in Scotland and came back to London. Best two months of my life.
-Draco? Malfoy I'm trying to speak with you here, it's important so stop daydreaming and pay attention.
Some things never change.
-I'm listening, what is it?
She walked into the living room, and dropped her frown when I grabbed her waist and made she sit on my lap. I was in the process of kissing her neck until she moaned my name, when she turned and showed me two letters.
-Stop trying to distract me. The boys send letters!
-Did you read them?
-Yes.
-I knew you wouldn't resist. And what did they say? I was right again, wasn't I?
She narrowed her eyes and made a disappointed sound before giving me the letters. I couldn't help the smirk.
-I told you Scorpius wouldn't go to Ravenclaw. He's a Slythering even if he doesn't want to say that I was right all along.
-At least Hugo got into Gryffindor.
-No one is perfect.
She slapped me on the chest and gave one of her disapproving glares. It only made me smirk even more.
-Don't go saying things like that. He looks up to you, and I know he must be feeling bad for not getting into Slytherin because of you.
-I rolled my eyes and started kissing her again.
-I talked with him before they went to the station. He knows I don't mind, well at least I don't mind too much. You can't blame me. Potter is going to rub it into my face for the rest of his miserably life.
She made a dismissive gesture with her hand and turned to straddle me. To which I hummed in appreciation.
-Stop talking like that. The two of you are just stubborn. I know you like each other.
-Keep dreaming.
She sighed and started playing with my hair.
-How do you do it?
-Do what?
I had my eyes closed. I love when she plays with my hair.
-You always win our bets. When Harry would ask Ginny's hand in marriage; that Luna and Blaise would make sense, you even managed to know which Houses our sons would be in.
I grabbed her waist and brought our faces close, so I could look her in the eyes. She was still as beautiful as the day I married her. The years made her look more mature, and I liked it.
-What can I say? You give me luck.
She laughed, and I could feel it in my chest. When she stopped I received that smile, the one I dreamed about, and hoped when I woke up, that I would one day see again. And here we are, all those years later.
-I love you, you know?
She kissed me long and hard, and I almost forgot I have asked something when she pulled back.
-I know that. But why don't you show me just how much in our room right now?
She was grinning like a teenager again, and it made me even more exited.
-Too far. Now that we have the house all to ourselves I think I want to repeat that time before the boys.
-Draco!
-Oh don't you even start. I know you miss it too.
I grabbed her from her tights and stood up. She was surprised, but soon her face got a sultry look, and she started to give my neck open mouth kisses. I stopped by the door and pressed her to it. She whimpered a little, but continued to kiss me. Hermione paused for a moment, and before I could reach her lips she grabbed my hair and made me stop. I raised my eyes to meet hers.
-You better make it worth the pain I will get in my back tomorrow, Malfoy.
-Believe me Granger, you will ask me for more.
