This was too much, he needed, no, had to change before someone else was killed. Harry stared at the ceiling. The third task had happened just a couple of days ago. Sighing silently, he sat up and dragged a hand down his face. Deciding he needed to be better, he got out a piece of parchment and quill to make a list of things he wanted to accomplish over the summer.

1. Gringotts- try to convert some galleons into pounds to pay Vernon to not bother him and get new clothes. Ask if there are more vaults and about account statements. Do they have healers so he could get on some sort of regime to get healthy?
2. Buy new wizarding/muggle clothes and trunk
3. Get eyes checked, maybe do away with glasses
4. Re-read books from last four years, pick up books on Ancient Runes and Arithmacy as well as background books on all subjects(except Divination and Muggle Studies)
5. Try to practice magic over the summer
6. Exercise, maybe join the local dojo, eat better

Harry looked over his list. It was a good start. He needed to improve himself. Now, how would he get to Gringotts? Thinking it over, Dobby came to mind. He would need to get as much done as possible while he was still at school which gave him a week.

" Dobby.", Harry says softly, not wanting to wake the others. A soft pop and there was Dobby. " The great Harry Potter calls for Dobby?", he said excitedly. " Yes. I was wondering if you would like to work for me? I'll pay you of course.", Harry asked. Dobby's eyes widened. " The great Harry Potter wants Dobby?", the little elf asked in awe. " Of course I want you, you're a good friend Dobby.", Harry said.

" I would loves to bond to Harry Potter!", he exclaimed. " Ur...bond? You don't have to bond to me Dobby, I'm more than happy to pay you.", Harry said quickly. Dobby shook his head. " Bond bes better. You nots like old master, I trust yous.", Dobby said firmly. " Alright...how do we bond?", Harry asked. " Just says yous except Dobby as yous elf, so mote it be.", Dobby instructed.

" I, Harry James Potter, except Dobby as my elf and friend, so mote it be.", Harry said as he held his wand. There was a quick, bright light and then nothing. " What can I dos for you, Master?", Dobby asked. " Err, firstly we are friends, so please call me Harry. Can you take me to Gringotts please?", Harry asked.

" Yes, Master Harry.", Dobby nodded quickly before touching him. With a soft pop they were gone, appearing a moment later just outside the bank. " Thank you Dobby, I'll call for you when I'm ready.", Harry said. Dobby nodded and disappeared.

" Excuse me, sir. I'd like to find out if I have any other vaults and maybe see one of your healers? I'm hopeful I can change some galleons into pounds as well.", Harry said respectfully to a free teller. " Very well, wait here, Mr. Potter.", the goblin said.

A few moments later, a familiar goblin came to get him. " Hello Griphook, how are you this evening?", Harry asked politely. " I'm doing well, Mr. Potter, please follow me.", Griphook replied after a moment before leading the young wizard down a hall. Soon the pair found themselves in a nice office.

" Alright, Mr. Potter, let's get down to business. You have two other vaults, a family vault and a main vault. The main vault feeds your trust vault while the family vault has books, furniture, heirlooms and the like in it. You currently have a little over five million galleons which includes your trust vault. For a small monthly fee of one galleon, you can receive monthly statements and for 100 galleons you can get a credit card that is linked to your account to use in the muggle world as well as have a wallet that will give you the amount of money you need in whatever currency is required.", Griphook explained.

" I would like the statements, card and wallet. Do you know if it's possible for me to become emancipated? I only ask, because I was recently forced to compete in the Tri-Wizard Tournament where there was an age limit of seventeen put in place. I'd also like to have your healers look me over.", Harry said.

" I believe we can do that, however before you sign any paperwork it would be best to have you checked over first. Follow me.", Griphook said.

They went down the all and another goblin, named Sagewick, quickly told Harry to strip down and stand in a rune circle. Harry did as he was told. The goblin chanted and certain areas glowed on Harry's body. Once that was done, the goblin started chanting in a different tone. Harry felt his bones stretch, muscles form and a sharp pain in his scar. He went down on his knees and almost passed out before something black came out of his scar screaming before then disappearing.

" Done.", Sagewick said. " Th-thank you.", Harry managed to say before re-dressing. Griphook led him back to the office to sign his emancipation papers as well as tell him about a prophecy that concern him. While shocked about the prophecy that stated basically that he had to kill someone in order to live, Harry had already pieced together that Voldemort had been after him for a reason beyond the norm. Harry asked for a glamour to be applied before he left, so his appearance would be like he used to look. It would gradually fade over the next two months.

Harry had Dobby take him back to the dorm where he promptly passed out until Ron woke him for breakfast. Harry ate then told Ron and Hermione he was still tired, so he was going back to bed. Instead of sleeping, he had Dobby pop him back to Diagon Alley where he used an old hoodie to hide his features as he bought what he needed. He did the same for the non magical side of London as well.

He got back and put his new shrunken things in the bottom of his old trunk, he would sort it out later at the Dursleys. Still tired, he did crawl back into bed where he got a few more hours of sleep before being woken up for dinner.

The rest of the week Harry just tried to relax as much as he could. He was fairly quiet on the train ride home. As soon as he was alone with Uncle Vernon though, he bargained for his freedom, paying the greedy man four thousand pounds to leave him alone.

Harry managed to get Vernon to let him stop by the grocery store on the way, so that he would have his own food. When he got to the Dursleys, he took everything to his room. After letting Hedwig out, he decided to see if he would get in trouble for using his magic now that he was technically an adult in the eyes of the wizarding world. He vanished his old bed and waited fifteen minutes. Nothing happened. With a grin, he vanished the rest of the broken junk and cast a few cleaning spells.

He opened his trunk and took out a shrunk charcoal colored carpet that as soon as it touched the floor, it immediately re-sized itself until he had wall to wall carpet. A black four poster full sized bed, matching nightstands, dressers and wardrobe soon joined the carpet as well as a black walnut desk, desk chair, a couple of bookcases and a seating area that consisted of two forest green reading chairs and a small black table. Harry then unshrunk the fridge and stove he bought as well as the pre-made cabinet with counter top.

His small room was bursting, so Harry placed a rune, he bought it on his shopping spree, to expand the room. It worked and he was able to have plenty of space. Harry changed the wall color to light grey and put all his food away before then putting his other new things away and vanishing his old clothes. Satisfied, Harry made himself a salad with chopped deli meat and fruit before taking a shower and going to bed.

The next morning he got up at five and started his new exercise regime that consisted of stretches, jogging and some other basic moves for now. After another shower and healthy breakfast, he began re-reading his textbooks from year 1.

It took Harry two weeks to get through all his textbooks from the last four years. He then read some of the background books he got for each subject before then doing all his homework, taking another week. He occasionally got letters from his friends, but they didn't give him any information.

Another two weeks flew by and Harry deeply regretted not taking Arithmacy and Ancient Runes, but at least he would be able to test for it by the time O. came around. He also read books about wizarding culture, law and others, his mind soaking up the information like a sponge.

Harry was also progressing rather nicely in martial arts thanks to the dojo he found not far from Privet Drive a few weeks ago. This was turning out to be the best summer Harry had had by far.

It was after the first week of August when he got an owl from Sirius asking if he was okay as Dementors had been spotted in the area. Harry replied that he was fine and asked about if he would get to see Sirius before term started. He was finally told that he would spend the last two weeks with him.

Harry made sure that he had everything in his trunk before shrinking it and placing it in his pocket. He waited quietly downstairs for whoever was picking him up. The Dursleys had actually left that morning to go on vacation.

Remus Lupin, Alastor Moody and a few others arrived to take Harry by broom to where he would be staying, 12 Grimmauld Place. Harry was quickly ushered inside and sent upstairs.

Hermione and Ron apologized for not being more informative, but Harry just shrugged and said he was busy anyway. " You've really grown Harry, you look loads better.", Ron said. " Healthy eating and exercise do wonders.", Harry replied. He stood just over six feet now and was well toned. His unruly black hair had dark red highlights and fell just past his shoulders though it was tied back at the moment. His emerald green gaze shone without glasses.

They talked until Mrs. Weasley called them down for dinner. Harry immediately hugged Sirius as soon as he came in.
