Juliet has dinner with her dad every Sunday, this particular Sunday is wracking her nerves.

She is going to tell her father whose already intimidating enough to her that her cured zombie boyfriend which he shot has gotten her pregnant and they're both happy about it.

"Happy, this is good news." She mutters to herself as she braids her hair in the mirror.

She makes sure her make up and white dress that her father bought her on an Easter before the apocalypse are both impeccable.

She opens the bathroom door to see R, who just got off work , standing in the living room in dirty dusty clothing.

"Shower, change and comb your hair." She commands.

"What's wrong with the way I look?" R asks looking at his work clothes.

"R, please just listen." she snaps.

"Calm down love, it's going to be okay, I'll make sure I look like a Ken doll if it will make you happy." He says smirking at her.

She smiles back.

The drive to Juliet's father's house is quiet as she finds herself tapping her knee nervously.

Her dad is waiting for them at the door.

"Here we go. " R whispers under his breathe as they get out of the silver Blazer.

"Hey, dad." Juliet greets him with a smile.

R greets him with a proper hand shake and sir.

They all sit down and eat in the usual awkward silence,

Juliet decides it's a good time to break the news.

"Um, Dad I have some good news." She says shakily and pauses, R nods for her to continue.

"I'm pregnant." She blurts out.

Juliet sees her dad's eyes darken, she can almost feel the anger welling up inside of him.

"Get out." he says coldly.

"Dad stop come-" she says close to tears.

"OUT!" He yells making Juliet jump.

"Sir, no need to yell, we will be on out way." R says looking at him seething.

He takes Juliet's hand and they both leave, the door slamming viciously behind them.

Numb, Juliet gets into the passenger seat, they both just sit there in silence trying to process what just happened.

R breaks the silence, "You know what forget him, we will be fine with out him."

Juliet looks at him tears streaming down her face, "You think so?"

"I know so.."
