Chapter 23
"She's so freaking gorgeous." Nora says wrapping Juliet and R's baby after looking her over.
"Daddy's going to be fighting off the boys." She adds handing the small bundle back to Juliet whose laying on the couch.
"Damn straight." R adds his eyes lighting up as he kneels painfully next to them.
"Have you thought of a name?" Nora asks as she cleans up.
"Yeah, Cora Emily Grigio." The new mom states proudly.
"It's perfect." R says kissing Juliet's forehead then he asks, "how are you feeling?"
"Like I've gotten ran over and they backed up, but I'll be okay." Juliet answers rocking her sleeping child.
"Here I'll take her you get some sleep." R says gently scooping up the small form up as he stands.
He smiles down at the small bundle in his arms. "Hi, Cora I'm daddy."
Juliet scoots down with a groan, R shoots her a concerned glance.
"She's fine." Nora says seeing his concern, "I think this is the best delivery I've seen." She walks over and looks at the small form in his arms. "Why don't you lay her in the little bed I made her while I change your bandage?"
"I'm good." R says shaking his head.
"R listen to her." Juliet says not even opening her eyes.
"Okay I'm going to-"
R is cut off by an inhuman scream outside.
