Hi everyone!
Alright, I'm really sorry that it's taken me so long to get back to updating. I've updated my profile, so if you would like to know where I am with my stories, feel free to. Thanks for sticking with this story, and I'm hoping to get back my inspiration for these stories soon!
Special thanks to FashionLuver98 for being so insistent with their PMs! That's what kicked my butt into gear!
Disclaimer: I own no one but Emma Katherine, Jasper, and Maxine, as you all know :)
Em POV
Em woke up, a large smile on her face. She looked over to the opposite side of the room, where Emma and Maxine were, the latter still sleeping. Emma was sitting up on her bed, her legs crossed as she looked down at her hands.
"You okay, Emma?" Em asked quietly, standing and walking over to the younger girl's bed. Emma looked up, smiling slightly. She leaned against Em as she sat down.
"Will Jackson and I be sent home now?" Emma asked fearfully. "I mean, the movie is over, so will we go back to where we were before?" Em put an arm around the little girl, hugging her.
"I think you two will be fine, Emma. You'll stay with the rest of us until Mama's movie is over." Em replied, and Emma smiled.
"That's good, because I like being here." Emma said, and Em laughed as she stood.
"How about we wake up Max, and get her into the kitchen for some breakfast. There might be some others awake." She said, walking over to her cousin's bed. She gently shook Maxine awake, making her stir, and open an eye.
"Emmy?" Maxine muttered tiredly.
"Hey there, kiddo. Let's go get some breakfast before Mama and Auntie Anna's movie starts. How does that sound?" Em asked, and Maxine nodded, reaching up. Em smiled fondly and picked her cousin up, holding her close as Maxine leaned against her shoulder, her eyes shutting once again. Em's smile grew as Emma took her free hand, and the girls walked down to the kitchen. The room was empty, the girls the only ones awake.
"What should we make?" Emma asked, jumping onto the counter. Em giggled slightly, and looked around the room.
"I think that's been taken care of." She replied, nodding towards the table. The surface was filled with different types of breakfast foods, making Emma's eyes light up.
"Whoa!" she breathed, and Em grinned widely. She adjusted her grip on Maxine as she sat at the table, holding her tired cousin in her lap. Emma sat beside her, and the girls began to eat. They ate in a comfortable silence until there was a bright flash, and two people appeared. The flash fully woke Maxine as she let out a loud cry of surprise at the sudden flash. Emma moved closer to Em, who stood. She placed Maxine on her chair as she faced the two newcomers.
"Where are we?" one of the newcomers, a woman, asked in confusion, looking around. The other newcomer was a man.
"Who are you?" Em asked suspiciously, her eyes narrowing. The couple turned, and Em froze, staring at them. The man had blonde hair and green eyes, and the woman had brown hair tied into a bun, and familiar blue eyes. Emma grabbed her hand fearfully, her own eyes wide. The man stepped in front of the woman protectively, looking at the three girls. His eyes lingered on Em, studying her with a look of strange familiarity, and staring at Maxine in shock.
Neutral POV
"Emma!" Elsa exclaimed, running into the room. She was followed by Jack, Anna, Kristoff, and Jackson. "What's wrong? We heard a scream and…" The blonde woman trailed off, staring at the man and woman in disbelief.
"Elsa?" the man asked, stepping forward. Anna stood beside her sister, taking her hand tightly.
"Mother? Father?" the brown-haired woman whispered, tears filling her eyes. Em gasped in realization, looking up to lock eyes with her father, who smiled slightly. He flew over to the trio of girls, pulling Em close. She leaned against him happily, still overjoyed with having her father back to normal.
"Is that really you?" Elsa questioned.
"Yes, it's us." The man said earnestly, and the two women ran forward, straight into the arms of their parents. They cried as they were reunited, happy laughter mixing in with the tears. Kristoff joined his daughter and niece, picking Maxine up and holding her close.
"Look how beautiful you two are." Iduna said, stepping back and cupping Anna's cheek gently. The younger woman smiled widely at her mother. Agnarr looked at Elsa, seeing the differences in his oldest daughter. Elsa beamed at her father.
"I finally learned how to control my powers." She said excitedly, and Agnarr looked at her proudly.
"Mommy?" a little voice said from the entrance to the kitchen. Jasper stood there, rubbing his eyes tiredly. Anna walked over to her son, picking him up. She brought him over to her parents and sister, and gestured for Kristoff and Maxine to come closer.
"Mother, Father, this is my husband, Kristoff, and our children, Jasper and Maxine." Anna said, and Jasper looked at the new arrivals curiously. "Kids, these are your grandparents." Maxine waved shyly at the couple.
"Hello, little ones." Iduna said softly, looking at the two children with love. Elsa looked over at Jack, and nodded. Anna's smile widened as Jack and Em walked over.
"Your majesties, my name is Jack Frost. I'm Elsa's husband, and this is our daughter, Emma Katherine." Jack said, bowing. Em stood close to her mother, holding her arm. "Your daughter is an incredible woman, and I am extremely lucky to call her my wife."
"Jack Frost? As in, the actual myth?" Iduna asked in shock, and Jack nodded, smiling sheepishly.
"I met Jack after he came to Arendelle." Elsa explained, taking Jack's hand. "Jack was a blessing, because he helped me to control my powers even more." Agnarr looked at Kristoff and Jack, studying them, then looking at his daughters.
"My girls have a good sense of judgment, boys, so I'll take their word that you're good men. I'm happy that they both have found men that love them." He said, and both Kristoff and Jack nodded fervently. The others were beginning to enter the kitchen, stopping when they saw the two new arrivals. Elsa and Anna introduced them all to their parents, and they sat down, eating and talking. Anna and Elsa filled their parents in on everything, relishing the time they had. Elsa hadn't stopped smiling, and her eyes sparkled whenever her mother or father placed a hand over hers, or touched her shoulder. She couldn't remember the last time she had been able to touch her parents without fear. Jack sat on Elsa's other side, occasionally chiming in as the family talked. Em sat beside her father, with Bunny, Emma and Jackson, and she talked happily with them.
"Elsa, she's just beautiful." Iduna said, looking at a giggling Em. Elsa followed her mother's eyes, and nodded happily. "She looks almost exactly like you did at this age." Elsa smiled softly.
"We're lucky she does." She replied, and her parents looked at her questioningly. Jack squeezed Elsa's hand tightly. "Jack found Emma when she was only four in the forest. Her village had chased her off, because they discovered she had powers, just like mine." Iduna's eyes widened, and she looked at her granddaughter sadly.
"She is lucky to have you both." Agnarr said, and Jack looked at his daughter, who felt the eyes on her and turned, looking at her parents questioningly. Jack wrapped an arm around her, kissing the top of her head.
"All three of us are lucky." he remarked, and Em leaned into his hug, glowing with happiness. As breakfast was finished, the group moved to the large room. Elsa and Anna sat on either side of their parents, and their husbands sat beside them. Em pulled a beanbag over, and sat at her parents' feet. The Burgess kids gathered around them as well, the divide now gone. North and Tooth, however, sat to the side, with Sophie, who was still adamantly glaring openly at Em and the others.
"I hope you all are rested and well. I will now show you Elsa and Anna's story, so that their parents and their family may understand what they went through." Mother Nature's voice said. The room darkened slightly, and the screen before them lit up.
I know it's short, but I hope you enjoyed it!
I'll be updating the next chapter soon. I'll be doing about a song per chapter, so that should give you an estimate!
See you soon, Guardians, kings, and queens!
Love,
Enchantress
