HAHAHAHAHA! I'M ALIVE, BITCHES! *dodges bullets*

I know it's been forever since I've last updated. I was out of the country for a month this summer and I've been dealing with some personal issues. To top that off, it's my senior year in college. So yeah, I'm going to be a bit busy. I'll try to update a lot more often. I just wanted to tell you guys thanks for all the reviews, favorites, and follows. They really mean a lot to me. On with the story!

Inspiration for this chapter came from Justin Timberlake's song "Tunnel Vision." You should check it out.

Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach.

1 hour before Rukia's arrival

Walking through the front door of building that held Gotei 13 Publishing was an incredibly surreal moment for Ichigo. Having only been awake for less than a week, it still took some time to get used to how much things have changed in the past 600 years. Everywhere he looked there were giant, reflective buildings that reached the sky, carriages that moved without the use of a horse, moving pictures, and tiny little trinkets that people talked into and would hear a voice speak back. Not mention the flying metal contraption that brought him all the way here to Tokyo. It was all so loud and dirty. Others, who might have been put into his position, might not have been able to handle all of the changes.

Then again, he is a vampire and vampires are known for being easily adaptable to change. So there's that.

As walked towards the elevator, he couldn't help but notice the heavy scent of arousal in the air. Looking around, he noticed that he had caught the appreciation of many women in the lobby floor. Some were throwing him, what they hoped were lustful glances while hoping that he'd turn his attention towards them. Snorting in head, he turned back around to wait on the elevator

"Typical," he thought in derision. There was only one woman in the world worth him paying attention to.

Rukia

As soon as the elevator reached the ground floor, Ichigo entered and pushed the button for the fifth floor distractedly, caught up in the thoughts of his long lost love. He has missed her dearly. And now finally, after 600 years of being apart, they will finally be reunited.

Torn out of his thoughts by the dinging of the elevator, Ichigo sees that he has reached his destination. Exiting the elevator quickly, Ichigo walks up to the reception desk to announce his presence to the familiar face behind it.

"Kiyone."

"Kurosaki-sama," she says, bowing. "It is wonderful to see you again. Ukitake-sama has been awaiting your presence."

"Thank you."

Following Kiyone to his Uncle's office, his enhanced hearing catches the whispers of all the women in the office.

"Who is he?"

"He's absolutely gorgeous!"

"I'd love to climb him like a tree."

Rolling his eyes internally, Ichigo tunes out their inane whispering. "I some things haven't changed." He thinks to himself.

Reaching Ukitake's office, Kiyone knocks twice. After hearing a soft affirmative, she opens the door and enters.

"Ichigo-heika is here to see you," she says softly, bowing once more.

"Thank you, Kiyone," he's standing from behind his desk to receive his visitor. "Inform me when immediately when Rukia gets here."

"Yes, Ukitake-sama." After bowing once more to Ichigo, she leaves, closing the door softly behind her.

"It's so good to see you again, nephew," Ukitake says softly smiling at Ichigo.

"You too, uncle," Ichigo says, smiling at the white haired man.

"I do hope that this will be the last time this will happen. I don't know if our family can take it anymore. We've all missed you. Your brother, especially so," he states, gesturing to a seat in front of his desk, as he sits back down.

"As do I. Shiro keeps telling me as much." Ichigo smiles sheepishly, taking the offered chair.

"Has he accompanied you here?"

"Yes. He shall be here with me for the next two months. Orihime remains in Budapest with Uliquiorra, watching over the castle. He refuses to take me out of his sight."

Ukitake laughs. "Good. It'll be nice to see him."

Ichigo smiles, slightly. "Tell me," he starts hesitantly, trying to contain his eagerness. "How did you find her?"

"Well," Ukitake starts off, frowning slightly, "I saw her walking to school one day and noticed that she looked exactly like your Rukia. At first, I believed that it was purely a coincidence but even then I knew it wasn't true. So I decided to follow her and noticed that she had nearly identical mannerisms to Rukia before she was killed. The only difference now, is that today's Rukia is rather colder in personality than your Rukia, though for a very good reason. But once you get to know her, you can barely tell the difference."

"What reason?" Ichigo asked, intrigued.

"Well, she grew up in foster care for the majority of her life. Having to deal with emotional and physical abuse from her caretakers and the other children in the homes, which mostly came from jealousy towards her looks, she developed a rather cold and pessimistic personality."

"What of her parents?" Ichigo demanded, furious that she had to experience such things.

"There are none. I've searched every hospital in Japan in hopes of finding her records, wondering why she was put in such a situation. I contacted the children's home that first had Rukia and they said she appeared out of nowhere on January 14th. No records or anything. Just a piece of paper with her first name written on it, attached to the blanket she came wrapped in."

"How is that possible?"

"We don't know. It might have to deal with the disappearance of her body in the coffin. Furthermore, she has no idea about our existence."

Silence reigned in the office, as both men were left to their thoughts. Ichigo was contemplating the rather strange mystery when an enticing scent filled his nose. He tenses.

"She's here." He growls out. Every fiber of his being is longing to go to her. To revel in her scent and to once again take what is rightfully his. He feels his fangs extend and his nails lengthen, the urge to claim, increasing the more he takes in her glorious scent.

"Ichigo, you must calm down. Remember she doesn't know what we are, which means she more than likely won't remember you," Ukitake states, answering the ringing of his telephone.

Ichigo takes in a deep breath, allowing her scent to run through his senses. It calms him slightly and he feels his fangs and nails go back to their original appearance. His body still remains taut like an arrow.

"Are you calm now?" Ukitake asks, raising an eyebrow. Ichigo gives a terse nod.

"Good. Now I can call her."

Ichigo listens as Ukitake asks Rukia to come to the office. This is the moment that he's been waiting for. He will finally be reunited with his soul mate, his only love, his Rukia.

A knock on the door interrupts his thoughts. Ukitake gives him a pointed look telling him to remain calm. He gives an affirmative and in she walks.

"You wanted to see me?"

Her voice sends shivers up Ichigo's spine. It's been far too long.

Yes! I wanted you to meet someone," Ukitake smiles kindly and points behind her at Ichigo. "Rukia this is my nephew, Kurosaki Ichigo. He shall be visiting me for the next two months."

When Rukia turns around to face him, Ichigo feels his world shift.

She looks exactly the same. She has the same gorgeous sapphire blue eyes, pouty red lips, glossy black, wavy hair, delicate porcelain face, and slender frame dressed in modest white blouse and gray pencil skirt. A blush rises up on her on her delicate cheeks as her heartbeat increases. Ichigo refrains from groaning out loud at the sight and from the sound of her blood rushing through her body.

Looking into her eyes, Ichigo sees a sense of recognition, joy, lust, longing and fear all at once. To finally see her again, after all of these years mourning her death, is quite overwhelming. All he wants to do at this moment in time, is take her back to his castle, lock her in his chambers, and never let her leave his sight again.

"It's very nice to meet you, Yamazaki-san," he says, putting out a hand.

The poor young woman is so overwhelmed that it takes her a moment to respond. Ichigo feels a thrill of pleasure run through him, at knowing how much he's affecting her.

"I-It's n-nice to meet you too, Kurosaki-san." As she takes his hand, he feels fire racing through his body. If it weren't for his uncle's presence, nothing would stop him from taking her on the desk. Catching her eyes again, he sees and can smell her arousal. He smirks lustfully.

"I look forward to working…intimately with you, Yamazaki-san," he states before kissing her hand, nearly closing his eyes in reverence from the taste of her skin. Oh yes, indeed.

"Yes," she whispers back. He notices that they are gradually moving closer and that her attention is mainly focused on his lips. He purrs mentally at the thought of kissing those lips once more. It has been far too long. And just when he's about to finally breach the small distance between them, she tears herself away from him and moves quickly from the door. Confusion and concern quickly takes over his lust-addled brain.

"Yamazaki-san, are you okay?" He asks, moving towards Rukia to comfort her.

"No! Please stay away!" She shouts. He sees tears starting to form in her eyes. He frowns in confusion and continues to move slowly towards her. He can't stay away from her. Surely she feels the same way?

"Rukia, why are you crying?" He hears Ukitake ask from behind him and can tell without looking back that's he's gotten up from his desk.

Ichigo watches as Rukia brings a hand to her face, without breaking her gaze from Ichigo, to feel that she is indeed crying.

"I don't know." She responds, still staring at Ichigo. Noticing that Ichigo has yet to stop moving, Ichigo sees that Rukia begins to panic.

"I'm sorry." He hears her sob. "But I have to go."

"Rukia!" Ukitake shouts from behind him.

He watches her tear out of the office and run towards her desk to grab her things in a blind hurry and rush to the elevator. Not willing to let her leave, Ichigo grabs his coat to quickly follow her.

"Where are you going, Ichigo?" Ukitake asks, seeing him grab his jacket.

"I've been separated from her for too long. I'm not going to let that happen again. She belongs with me." He states, hurriedly trying to catch up with Rukia. Many women were shocked and jealous at that statement. But he didn't care. Rukia was all that mattered.

It was time for the King to be reunited with his Queen.

Here's a little something for you guys. I wanted to give Ichigo's perspective on their meeting. Hope you like. I will be writing chapter 4 later today but don't expect it until later this week hopefully. Hope you guys liked it. ^^
