The day began like any other in Konoha, the sun rose, you rose from your slumber. Rubbed your eyes, stretched, looked out the window and smiled at the rays of light and sweet birds that fluttered by. Singing their kind song, you joined humming. The same tune. Merrily. Stop when a knock came to your door and it opened.

It was Kurernai, the woman whom you'd be staying with. Her red eyes warmly smile at you, along with her own. Greeted. "Good morning, May."

You smile back. "Yes, good morning, indeed, Ms. Kurenai."

"I have breakfast ready for you, to get the day start. Remember what you've got to do?"

Oh, that was right. You nearly forgot. Throwing your covers and blankets back jump out of bed. In your pajamas of dark blue shorts and shirt with silver stars decorated all over. Hurry to the drawer and gather your outfit and shoes. "Thank you, for reminding me." You tell her. Filling your arms with the items. "I had nearly forgot. I should hurry as soon as possible, there is much that must be done. May I bathe?"

A question that earned you a pat on the head from the woman and nod. "Yeah, of course you can."

With a thankful nod, hurry to clean yourself. She yelled after you. "Don't forget to eat something!"

Before shutting the door, give her thumbs up.

It didn't take long to bathe yourself and get ready. Right when you entered turned on the shower, hoped in once it was of the right temperature. Washed yourself from head to toe rather excitedly. It literary radiated off you, you began to glow. Gushing a bit, at the happy thoughts. It was nearly hard to contain, Kurenai saw the flashes of glow when she looked down the hall. Smiled to herself.

Once done showering, dress yourself quickly, into your short emerald green tube-top dress, with yellow trimmings on the edges along with small slits. Underneath black tights. Slipped on your long dark yellow fingerless gloves and standard ninja shoes. Not special, just the simple regular ones. You kept you hair...down.

Checking yourself in the mirror see everything was together and well. Gather your pajamas and towel, cleaning up, and leave. Putting it in your room, head to the dinning room where Kurenai was. She had a few things for you set on the table, breakfast, your pack, and three containers. Ready to go.

Breakfast looked wonderful, pancakes, porridge, eggs, and bacon. With some fruit and juice on the side. "How wonderful!" You exclaimed, taking a seat. "Thank you so very much!" Pick up your chopsticks, began eating.

So politely you did too, Kurenai couldn't help but softly laugh. When she noticed the time. "Oh, May," she called to you. Just as you where drinking your juice. "you should hurry up. It's nearing the time."

Glancing behind her, see the time, and nearly choke. Get up quickly. "Oh! Yes, of course! How could I have lost track of time." Scramble together, gathering your things finish the rest of the juice, fly out. Literary you flew, waving back telling her thank you and good-bye just as you leave.

Clutching the three containers you in your arms close, hope these would be alright. Swallow hard. I'll do my best, Mr. Gaara.

Down on the streets of the village where everyone walked, so people noticed the flying shadow above, glanced up for a moment. Saw wisp of pink fly over them. Some of them knew who it was, others not really, those who only caught a small glimpse of the tuff of pink rose a brow of confusion. You as well, unsure where if you where going in the right direction, land on top of building for a moment.

Look right, then left, the right once more. Surely you were...hopefully going in the right direction, you didn't want to be late. This village was rather huge, you nearly forgot...at times...most of the time. That didn't mean you couldn't find places, that you had been to quite a few times. Notably the Hokage office, was one. The raman spot, Hyuga compound and a few others. But, not this...you wondered if they where there yet? And waiting...oh how cruel, you causing them to wait like this. There had to be one way for you find the meeting spot.

Wait! There was, how could you forget. Smiling to yourself, close your eyes, hold your hands together and focus. You'd find them. Yes, you would. If someone hadn't spotted you.

Eventually, they'd get here. Ten-Ten along with the rest of her team, Rock Lee and Neji sat on a park bench waiting for them to show up. Staring at her watch Ten-Ten let out a long sigh.

"This is taking them forever," she groaned. "Honestly, I thought they'd be here by now or something. We've been waiting forever." Slouched further on the bench. Neji who sat by her a bit more upright.

Lee took to standing and keeping himself busy by running place. Just watching him tired Ten-Ten out more. Let out another groan, longer than the first one. Checked her watch once again.

Unlike the rest of his team Neji kept calm, eyes closed and zen as he could be. Despite the small thing that buzzed around him. Even as he swatted it away. Tried to swat it away. "Being late is rude," He chided roughly, swatting the buzzing away. "it's disrespectful to say the least and beyond rude."

Ten-Ten looked to him rather surprised by his words, then again, it wasn't that surprising. "Yeah, it is rude. Then again," she gave a thought. "maybe something happened, they kind of got lost or you know."

Neji opened an eye to her. It didn't agree and remained annoyed. Lee finished his running in place turned to the two with positive energy. "I am sure they are on their way! We shouldn't think in such a way." He breamed. "We should be honored on the great opportunity."

Ten-Ten and Neji looked at him, not feeling the same way. Rolling her eyes Ten-Ten looked at the time once again. Stretched. "We honestly could be doing something else than sitting here." Rubbed her neck.

Neji nodded with each of her words, having a few of his own. That came out harsher than before, he hadn't noticed someone arriving. "Wasting someone's valuable time, it's beyond low. It shows their character clearly, they are not one to be considered fit to within our presence of that of anyone else's."

Those words burned. "Geez, Neji," Ten-Ten stricken by his words. "you could tune it down a bit. You know. What's with the lashing words?"

"Yes." Lee agreed. "Are you alright?"

Neji refused to answer and kept going, with his ranting. He didn't notice the approaching footsteps or the voice that called his name. Though Ten-Ten and Lee did. Quickly tried to stop him, but he didn't hear their sharp hushing and throat cutting motions. Until it was too late, they dropped their containers that broke open and spilled. It was smell of herring soba and the soft struck gasped that stopped Neji's mouth from speaking any more words further.

And the warm familiar voice that made his cheeks take the hue of strawberries and turn his head in their direction. Find, wide misted golden-yellow eyes and face livid with sadness. That sank his heart. Even more so when they heard the soft whimper they tired to hide keep from slipping from their lips. Ten-Ten and Lee held their gasps.

Neji instantly stood, reached out..."M-"

Before he could even speak the name fully, you turned and fled. He tried to run after you, but you flew off, his finger just barely brushed the heel of your shoes. Ten-Ten and Lee look at one another woefully for a moment then to Neji who stood before the spilled containments of the containers filled each of their favorite food. Cautiously, they walked to Neji's side.

Ten-Ten reached out and placed a hand on Neji's shoulder. "Hey," she paused. Looked to Lee. Who wasn't sure what to say, but by the look of it had a plan forming behind his eyes. Ten-Ten returned to consoling Neji. Being careful with the right words to say. But it seem none where the right ones.

Neji though had them. His voice cracked a bit. "Did you see the way she looked at me." Laments. "The words I said..." Balled up his fist. His knuckles began to turn white. Tears slowly began to rise. "She'll...She'll..."

"Neji." Ten-Ten softly said. "I'm sure that...if we just..."

"She'll hate me forever!" He screamed, smacking Ten-Ten's hand away, ran off in the opposite direction. Yelling behind him. "She'll never love me! I'm such a disgrace!"

A bit of an overkill, Ten-Ten sighed. With a head shake, wonderful, Neji was overreacting...looking down at the spilled food, began to scoop it up. "Lee, I'm going to go see if I can find, May real quick. Why don't you check up on Neji, okay?"

Lee nodded. With relief smile, they ran off to find the other.
