I dreamed of a giant talking darkspawn wandering the deep roads. It's heart was filled with sorrow and regret for a sin that shattered the world. Is that may fate? I'd kill myself before turning into whatever that thing is. I don't want to ask Alistair any more questions about Darkspawn. I suspect

We've had a problem come up. Early in the Morning Morrigan finally told me what she had found in Flemeth's Grimoire. The book was even more valuable than I had thought. It explained, amongst other things, the secret of Flemeth's immortality. Somehow it was even more evil than anything I had thought possible.

When Flemeth's body deteriorates she raises a daughter and when the time comes she transfers her power to said daughter and takes over her body and mind. Flemeth has an easier time regaining her power if "the vessel" has been properly trained. This is probably why Morrigan was sent with us. I also now understand the twisted meaning of what Flemeth called her daughter "that which I value above all in this world", she didn't mean her child she meant her chance at immortality. That twisted old Crone.

I owe Felmeth my life, and my family owes her our tittle, albeit in an indirect manner. Morrigan thou has saved us time and time again.

I had to be sure. Wynne read the grimoire, just to make sure Morrigan wasn't getting anything wrong. Then I took a look at the thing. The book was written in a language I couldn't understand. Wynne could read it though and she believes Morrigan is correct. She also believes Flemeth yields incredible power and that we should not confront her without a plan, if at all.

Morrigan wants us to set out immediately. But given the urgency of our situation delay isn't much of an option. I plan on presenting our treaty request to the Dalish and then marching on Flemeth. Maybe the Elves will be able to tell us some lore I don't already know. Getting them on our side can't possibly be as arduous as Redcliffe and the Templars. I mean what are the odds of another one of our partners having some catastrophe they have to deal with before coming to our aid.

Morrigan is currently teaching Wynne a version of the spell she used to guide us through the wilds. She can't come with us because Flemeth might try and posses her again so we will have to split up once again. Alistair let it be known that he does not wish to be parted from my company. I for one couldn't agree more.
