If anyone is still interested there is another youtube video with the melody of the lullaby I talked about last chapter. Look up Akira Ifukube-Baby and Azusa on youtube. The song features a version played on the cello and then repeats on the strings. It's a gorgeous melody that I absolutely love so I highly recommend hearing it!
Here's another chapter since I am now on Spring break. It's time to celebrate! Thank you everyone who has left reviews and favored this story. Thank you thank you thank you!
I don't own Transformers Prime as the show is owned by Hasbro.
Ch. 11: The Rightful Lord & Master
Once Elisa woke she stormed up the bridge and nearly knocked Starscream to the ground.
"How in the pits of Kaon did you manage to let autobots into the med bay?" She shouted baring her teeth. The seeker shrieked and fell backwards as Elisa stalked forward to him on all fours before she placed her claws on his chestplates. "Answer me!?" She roared right at his face.
"Elisa…calm-calm down. I can explain." He stammered out. She only growled in return. "We had a malfunction with our shielding the autobots could have sneaked aboard." He said quickly.
"If my Carrier dies because of this…you are NEXT!" She roared before she stomped away on two feet. Starscream shook his head as his wings fluttered in fright. Perhaps Elisa had more of her Carrier in her than he thought.

She couldn't keep still as she kept pacing around the hallways of the ship. Her eyes went wide when she heard gunshots. She started to run, but she collapsed when pain raced through her spark again.
"Carrier!" She screamed into the air as she withered in pain. The pain only lasted briefly before she was able to stand again.
"Decepticons your rightful Lord and Master has returned."
Elisa couldn't believe her ears. That sounded like her Carrier. He was alive. He was talking. He was breathing. He was going to be ok! Elisa tried to run, but a massive explosion rocked the ship and she was thrown to the ground again. She finally shook her head and ran out onto the deck. She was never so overjoyed to see her Carrier as he landed gracefully in front of Starscream.
"Lord Megatron…uhhh- you are…you're healed!" He said with fake joy. "Praise the allspark it is a miracle."
"Oh it will be a miracle alright Starscream. If you survive what I have planned for you." Megatron said coldly. Starscream transformed again and tried to fly off, but Megatron easily caught him and slammed him into the back wing of the ship. Megatron was soon approaching him again with thundering footsteps.
"But the autobots, Optimus, right there waiting for you." Starscream pleaded.
"My greatest mistake!?" Megatron snapped. "I've made a few…but there is one I do not intend to make again." Megatron growled before he grabbed Starscream by his head and dragged him back towards the ship.
"No master. NOOOOOOO!" Starscream shrieked in protest. Elisa wasn't sure what to do so she hid for the moment as she watched her Carrier continue to drag Starscream into the ship and throw him into the nearest room and lock it.
"Elisa! Phoenix!" Megatron shouted.
"Carrier!" Elisa jumped for joy as she knocked him to the ground and held him tightly in embrace. She purred loudly as he gave her small kisses on her forehead and cheeks as he held her close.
"Oh baby. I've missed you little one." Megatron said with great relief.
"I missed you too." Elisa cried.
"Don't cry Elisa. I hate to see you cry. I'm here now." He whispered.
"I thought you were dead."
"As did I." He said sadly before he stood up again.
"Carrer?" Phoenix called out.
"Hello Phoenix." Megatron said happily. She hurried over to him and hugged her close, but Elisa was suspicious from what she said the day before and her energy felt more constricted as if she was hiding something. It was then that Elisa realized Phoenix wasn't happy to see him.
"I'm so glad you're ok Carrier." Phoenix said happily.
"And I am so happy to see my two precious femmes." Megatron announced with joy. They stayed with him for the rest of the day and the traitorous Starscream's actions were temporarily forgotten. They all stayed in Megatron's berth and cuddled up next to him, refusing to let him go. Although Elisa was still suspicious of Phoenix, but she didn't pay too much attention as she listened to her Carrier's strong sparkbeat. Eventually they all fell asleep together, a family once more. Elisa woke up and she saw that Phoenix was gone.
"She already left earlier." Megatron said making her look at him.
"Morning Carrier." Elisa smiled. Megatron kissed her forehead before he gently pushed her forward.
"Go to the bridge. I have some business to attend to." He stated.
"Starscream?" She asked cautiously. He didn't answer, but hesitated before going to the door. "He wasn't like this when you left Carrier." Elisa added quickly making him look at her. "He wasn't…bitter." Elisa said, trying to find the right word. "I...I don't know what changed him."
"Once you've had a taste of power Elisa you don't want to lose it." Megatron said quietly before he left the room. She wasn't sure what to think of what he said. She never once believed that her Carrier was a power hungry mech that didn't care about her or Phoenix. She frowned at the thought and finally got off the berth before she slowly walked over to the bridge.

"Master please!" Starscream begged as Megatron stormed into the room. The seeker immediately started to beg, but Megatron slapped him away. He quickly grabbed the seekers wings and racked his claws over the sensitive wings, making him shriek in pain. "I was…ahhhh…only trying to take care of ….the…ahhhhhh…decepticons!" Starscream protested.
"Really?" Megatron growled darkly before he slammed his head into the wall. He repeated the action over and over until the metal on his faceplates was heavily scarred. When Megatron saw the damage he smiled deviously before he threw the seeker across the room again. The seeker moaned in pain as Megatron loomed over him and he stomped his massive pede on his chest before he pressed hard into his chestplates. Starscream grunted in pain as sparks scattered the ground.
"I…I…" Starscream stammered to defend himself, but Megatron would hear none of it as he grabbed both of his shoulders and dug his claws deep into the metal. His gripped tightened on one side before he raked his claws down the opposite. The seeker hissed in pain, but yelp when the action was repeated to the other side. Starscream felt a familiar grip on his throat as Megatron just glared at him for what seemed to be the longest time.
"You didn't take of my daughter."
Starscream's optics went wide with surprise at the statement and he was unsure of what to say, but Megatron said it for him as he dragged him out of the room before literally throwing him into the medical bay before walking off. He found Elisa standing loyally by the front monitor. He reassuringly patted her shoulder before going over the reports Soundwave had filed for him to get a status update. Eventually he pulled her away from the monitor and they flew down to the mine Phoenix was at.
"I have everything under control." Phoenix stated.
"I just wanted to see you." Megatron said slightly more gently.
"Did you pound Starscream into scrap metal?" She asked excitedly making Elisa frown.
"Not entirely." Megatron answered making Phoenix huff in annoyance.
"It will save you a world of trouble in the future." Phoenix teased looking right at Elisa.
"We shall see."

Things quickly went back to normal and Elisa was more than happy to get back into a normal routine. Although things started to happen again that caused disruption.
The first was when Breakdown went missing.
"Lord Megatron, I fear Breakdown has gone missing." Starscream announced.
"The autobots?" Megatron asked.
"According to surveillance provided by the astonishingly accurate Soundwave, Breakdown was abducted by humans." Elisa caught the seeker's sarcasm as Phoenix smirked.
"Your point?"
"My strongest recommendation, we assemble a rescue team to hunt the vermin responsible for this outrage." Starscream said proudly with servos on his hips.
"Breakdown is on his own."
"Uuuh…Master?" Starscream said shocked and Elisa bit her lip to keep from protesting.
"Breakdown allowed himself to be captured by those smaller than him, weaker than him. He deserves whatever fate awaits him." Megatron said without sympathy.
"But Breakdown is a key player in our…" Starscream started to protest, but a glare with sharp denta silenced him. "Your wisdom reigns supreme Lord Megatron." Starscream said before walking away. "For now." He said under his breath. Phoenix burst out laughing when Starscream left.
"I don't find this funny." Elisa snapped.
"I don't care. Breakdown's a gullible twit that only knows how to buffer Knockout's aft." Phoenix teased with a nasty tone.
"They're bonded." Elisa said firmly.
"Elisa drop the matter now." Megatron ordered without even looking at her.
"Yes Carrier." Elisa said quietly as Phoenix gave her a nasty smile before she left the bridge. She went to Breakdown's last location via groundbridge and followed the tire tracks which had traces of his energy. Eventually she came to a dead end, but that didn't stop her as she fired her blue heat ray right at the steel doors causing them to explode instantly. She roared in fury at the gunshots fired at her before the humans ran scared. She finally reached him and gasped in surprise when she saw one of his optics was missing.
"I've had worse." He grinned.
"I'm glad to see you still have a sense of humor." She said before she ripped off the restraints "Time to go you big lug." She said holding out her hand. He stood up and put his chestplates back into place before an alarm went off. "Are you going to be ok?" She asked with concern.
"Never run when you can fight." He said happily as his servo transformed into a hammer.
"Just be careful." She said before they started to run. Once they were out in the open Breakdown blocked most of the bullets for her even though they couldn't pierce her thick hide. He banged away with his hammer at the cars on the ground as Elisa's spikes flashed blue before she hit a helicopter right out of the sky. Breakdown spotted the human impostor as he tried to fire a beam from his own helicopter. Breakdown dodged it and knocked Elisa out of the way as he fired a second time. "Thanks." She said before she tried to fire at the human only for his helicopter to dodge it as they were fired upon again. She growled before she swiped at more cars with her tail before they finally left the scene. "Listen, don't tell Carrier about this." Elisa said sadly.
"Why not?"
"He didn't want to send out a rescue party because you were captured by humans." She answered.
"Oh."
"Sorry Breakdown." She said sadly.
"It's ok. Our little secret. I won't even tell Knockout." He said holding out his fist. She bumped with a smile before they separated. By the time she got back to the ship she heard Knockout fussing over him in the medical bay.
"Sit still will you!" She heard Knockout shout.
"Relax, just patch it up and I'm good to go." Breakdown said easily.
"You call a missing optic good to go!?" Knockout shouted in protest making Elisa snicker before she retreated to her room for the night. The next morning Megatron gathered Elisa quickly.
"Come with me." He stated before they walked out and onto the open deck. He transformed without a word and Elisa quickly followed. The flight was spent in unusual silence and Elisa could tell her Carrier was angry about something. They soon landed at an empty mine.
"Carrier is something wrong?" Elisa said confused. He still didn't answer for a few moments before he let out a frustrated sigh.
"Did you have anything to do with Breakdown's return?" He asked. Elisa instantly tensed, but didn't back away.
"No Carrier why?" She asked curiously.
"Then why did you leave the ship?" He snapped making her flinch.
"I was just looking over a mine." She said quickly.
"I told you to drop it." He growled.
"He…he's bonded to Knockout." Elisa said weakly.
"That's not the point." Megatron shouted making her jump. "Breakdown is under my command. He is my solider." Megatron stated.
"But he's my friend." Elisa protested.
"We are at war Elisa! If my troops can't handle a single human then they don't deserve to be my troops." He finished.
"Carrier I'm sorry." Elisa cried, shaking hard.
"You do not interfere with my missions do you understand?" Megatron said clearly.
"Yes..yes..Carrier." Elisa said fearfully. "I…I was just trying to help." She said weakly.
"I don't want your help!" Megatron roared making Elisa scream in fright and instantly fly away from him. She didn't see him freeze when she screamed, but he did. It was then that Megatron realized he had frightened her very badly. He never wanted his own child to be afraid of him. He looked down at his servos that were trembling in rage and he gasped at his own anger. He took a few deep breaths as he finally took in what she was saying. She was just helping a friend…just like he would have done…a very long time ago. With a heavy sigh he transformed and flew back to the ship…
Unaware of the white eyes that watched.
Megatron went to Soundwave once he returned to the ship.
"Where is Elisa?" He asked and Soundwave brought up the feed from her room to show Elisa quietly crying on her berth. He left without another word as he tried to talk to Elisa. "Elisa?" He called out as she had locked the door from the inside.
Go away! She shouted through the bond making him jump slightly.
Elisa please let me. He pleaded gently, but this time he got no answer and he let out a heavy sigh as he knew he couldn't win this time. Fortunately or unfortunately Soundwave approached him with a magnetic fluctuation picture and sent Breakdown on his way. Too bad Breakdown didn't return with the weapon, but he come back with something else.
"Breakdown you dare to return empty handed!" He shouted.
"No master." He said before he turned around.
"Arachnid it has been some time." Megatron said amused.
"Lord Megatron, what can I say? It's good to be back." The femme stated. Phoenix just stared wide-eyed at the spider-bot as her aurora was a deep purple traced with black, and just felt so different from the others. Arachnid blinked in surprise at red dragon, but when she smiled at her Arachnid smiled back.
"Get detangled and I can bring you up to speed on some things." Megatron ordered, slightly grateful for the distraction. The femme came back quickly and looked at the Phoenix curiously. "This is my oldest daughter Phoenix." Megatron stated.
"Oldest?" Arachnid said curiously.
"My other daughter Elisa is unwell at the moment. They are twins." He explained. Judging by the red colors Phoenix had Arachnid had a pretty good idea as to who her Sire was so she didn't say it out loud.
"Funny, I haven't seen any other dragons in the area." She said casually.
"I wouldn't be surprised. They're cowards." Phoenix said with a smirk.
"Oooh I like the way you think Phoenix." Arachnid said with a smile of her own.
"Phoenix show Arachnid around won't you?" Megatron said getting the positive tones they femmes gave off of each other.
"Right this way Arachnid." Phoenix said happily.

Megatron was at his monitor when Soundwave brought up a feed on his screen to show that Elisa was leaving her room, but she wasn't heading to the bridge. She was just walking down the hallway when she came up to Phoenix and Arachnid talking. Elisa just stared at the femme for a moment and Megatron could have sworn she bared her teeth at the new femme.
"Elisa this is Arachnid." Phoenix said.
"Hello." Elisa said respectfully.
"So you are Elisa. My, my you certainly have Megatron's colors." Arachnid complimented with a smile.
"Thank you." Elisa said respectfully.
"I'm going to show Arachnid one of the mines. Care to join us?" Phoenix asked.
"No thank you." Elisa said before she started to walk away.
"Make sure you find some big one's this time." Phoenix teased knowing Elisa would go to an empty mine looking for energon crystals that were missed. Megatron waited and watched her for about an hour before he went to the empty mine Elisa was at.
"Elisa?" He called out calmly. She just glanced at him before she continued on her way. "Elisa, please listen to me." He begged quietly. She ignored him, by digging into the ground, deeper and deeper. "Elisa, I'm sorry." He pleaded, but she still ignored him. He grabbed at her shoulders and she yelped and pulled away from him. "Elisa please, please don't be afraid of me." Megatron said with despair. "Everyone else fears me. I don't want my own daughter to be afraid of me."
"You scared me Carrier." Elisa whimpered out.
"I know and I'm so, so sorry baby." Megatron said gently.
"I was just trying to do the right thing." Elisa added.
"I know and I had forgotten that I taught you that." Megatron said sadly. They stared at each other in silence for a few moments. "Thank you for saving Breakdown. I am so proud of you." Megatron said sincerely before he brought her into his arms. She licked at his insignia and he knew that she forgave him.
"I don't like Arachnid." She stated firmly making him laugh.
Then out of nowhere fire exploded around them.
Elisa and Megatron went flying and hit the ground hard. Megatron was up first with his cannon ready as Magma approached them with a wicked grin on his face.
"How sweet." He teased.
"Get out." Megatron growled deeply. Magma didn't reply as Elisa cried out as she was tackled by Rhodius. Megatron's optics went wide as he landed on top of her with his claws on her chest, but she fired her heat ray right back at him and sent him off of her quickly. She leaped to her feet before she threw him sideways with a hit from her tail. Magma growled and charged at Megatron, but he easily got out of the way. Magma tried to charge him again but Megatron swiped at him with his blade, keeping him at bay. Megatron fired at Magma, who growled in annoyance before hitting Megatron right in the chest with his own heatray. Rhodius was trying to grab at Elisa with his red fire claws, but she kept blocking them with her blue fire claws. One blow sent her skidding, but she jumped right at him. In mid-air she opened her wings to steady herself before she kicked Rhodius square in the chest with both feet, sending him flying right into Magma.
"Move!" Megatron shouted at Elisa and they both scrambled out of the mine before flying into the open air. "Soundwave, groundbridge now!" He ordered as Magma's angry roar was heard behind them. The bridge opened instantly and they scrambled through, but not before one of the dragons fired at them. When they made it through the bridge Magma growled in annoyance.
"Now what?" Rhodius snapped.
"We have to wait for another opportunity." Magma stated.
"Are you sure Elisa is even worth our time? She's weaker. I'd prefer Phoenix, at least she has your colors." Rhodius spat.
"True, but two is always better than one." Magma grinned.
They didn't see in the bridge that the heatray that had been fired hit Elisa's back and she went skidding across the floor of the Nemesis once they got through. She grunted when she hit the wall hard and her back was burning.
"Elisa!" Megatron said with worry as he hurried over to her with Soundwave following. Her eyes blinked open in surprise as she shook her head to clear her vision.
"Ouch." She grunted as her back hurt.
"Where does it hurt?" Megatron asked.
"Just my back a little. It just sent me skidding that's all Carrier." She explained quickly trying to calm his fears. She wasn't lying as the wound didn't bother her too much as her skin rash.
"Easy Elisa." Megatron said gently as he helped her to her feet. "Let's go to the medical bay." He said quickly.
"Carrier I'll be fine." She insisted.
"Don't argue with me." He stated. "Soundwave, get Phoenix here now." He ordered before he took Elisa to Knockout.
"Ouch that stings!" Elisa protested as something cool was put on her back.
"That hit burnt your back pretty girl. You need to cool down." Knockout explained.
"Uuuugh I feel fine." She said annoyed.
"What about your stomach? You've got some bruising." He added.
"Shhhh, not in front of Carrier." She snapped.
"Do you think I'm blind?" Megatron said with a smirk as she rolled her eyes.
"What's the meaning of this?" Phoenix said as she angrily.
"I want you to stay on the ship." He stated.
"Why?"
"We just ran into Magma and another dragon." Elisa answered.
"Wait? Who's the other dragon?" Phoenix asked curiously.
"No one important."
"Liar." Phoenix snapped. Meagtron glared at her and refused to answer.
"If you don't tell me I'll go look up." Phoenix argued.
"Soundwave already has those files sealed."
"Then who is he?" Phoenix shouted.
"He's one of Magma's two sons. The one that you saw today Elisa was the eldest Rhodius and his other son is Rising Dawn. They are also twins." Megatron explained.
"We have brothers!?" Phoenix gasped. Megatron frowned at the word. "You didn't think to fragging tell us?!" Phoenix roared.
"Watch your tone Phoenix." Megatron snapped back. "And no I didn't want you to know because you didn't need to know." He added.
"But they're dragons like us." Phoenix said amazed.
"I am your Carrier. That's all that matters." Megatron said firmly.
"But you are…human." Phoenix said with a nasty tone.
"Phoenix!" Elisa cried out in protest.
"Both of you are to stay on the ship. It is not safe out there right now." Megatron ordered trying to ignore the hurt at the words. Phoenix didn't reply and left without another word.
"Carrier?" Elisa called out quietly when Megatron stayed silent.
"It's alright Elisa." Megatron said just as quietly before he left.
"Sorry, pretty girl, but Phoenix just doesn't get your Carrier is trying to keep you safe." Knockout said as he tended her wounds.
"I know Knockout."

Human
The word just stuck to Megatron for the remainder of the day and night as he tried to recharge. He didn't understand where this bitterness came from Phoenix. He was good to her during their travels as he tried to teach her plenty of his skills, but now since their return she was just rejecting him at every turn and today had hurt the most. He wanted to keep her and Elisa safe, but he knew Phoenix didn't see it that way at all. He didn't want Phoenix to think like Magma knowing it would destroy her, just as it did with Magma. He worried for Elisa as well as she had her own weaknesses, but he knew her spark was strong. His thoughts were suddenly broken when somebody came into his room. He didn't move and he pretended to be asleep. The footsteps were soft and quiet as someone crawled up on his berth and snuggled into his neck. A familiar purr sent a pleasant warmth through his body as Elisa tried to heal his wounded spark. He turned around and pulled her tightly into his chestplates and she welcomed the familiar touch.
"I love you Elisa. Don't ever forget that."
I hope some of the explanations make sense with some of the changes in relationships. Megatron trusted Starscream with Elisa when he left and all Starscream could care about was the power he was given. Plus I wanted to write the scene where Starscream gets beat up since we only saw the aftermath on the show. Things are going to get a lot more rocky. So be prepared!
