Chapter 7 - Sasori's Turn

I was sitting in my workshop working on a puppet, trying to past the time by keeping my mind busy. Angel had come back last week and was slowly training her portal jumping. Leader had told us about us visiting the void of her world to get used to it. Why I wasn't sure. But she told us that it could serve as another hideaway in case of emergency.

She had taken Tobi and Leader there already. Saying she was adding land before she took others in. So right now my eternal partner was training that right now. However Tobi expressed worry that if she disappeared in her own void cause of being overworked she might not return, it made my mind act up.

Hearing a knock on my workshop door I sighed. Why can't anyone leave me alone? "Who is it?"

"Sasori it's Angel. May I come in?"

Blinking that the fact she had returned from training and was here to see me, it made my heart organ beat oddly. Not wanting to waste time I called that she could enter. She phased through the door and flew over, being careful not to knock anything over with her wings, even if she was a specter. I blinked at her semi solid form. "Something you want?"

"Well I decided that I'd take you to my void first."

I blinked at that. She wanted to start with me? "Very well. How do we do this?"

She smiled at me while landing in front of me. Her hand was held out for me to take, while I stared at her in confusion. Taking her hand I felt the solid force. She pulled me closer gently, wrapping two of her wings around me. I blinked at that fact that once she pulled me close, everything changed.

Surrounding us was a field of darkness with a few land masses floating around. Feeling the feathers on my back and the cold temperature of her skin stunned me for sure. Looking at the angel in my arms I saw her looking at me stunned. Her eyes seemed like pearls with how white they were. Looking at myself in confusion I saw why I had feeling and why she looked shocked. I was human…

"Strange, this didn't happen when I brought Leader here…" She mumbled as she flew to the large floating landmass that was close by. Landing she opened her wings to allow me to wander around the small mass.

On the landmass was a simple hut with a few trees., it looked like the rush job of a home. There was few other landmasses but the one she landed on was the largest. Looking over my human body I wondered how it could be. Turning to the dark angel I saw her studying me with a critical eye.

"I'm thinking the human body is the only thing other than myself can form here. So the void wasn't able to allow your puppet form enter so it reverted it back to a natural state."

"You mentioned this didn't happen to Leader what did you mean?"

"Well Leader has a body possession jutsu, so it has a natural human body. But a puppet body is wood and wires. Not natural so in order for you to come over to this plain it reverted you back to a natural state."

I had to agree with her, because she had a solid form as well, a ghost form returned to a human form. But why keep the wings. It might be an answer we'll never know. I was interrupted from my thoughts when a hand lightly touched my arm. Looking at the dark angel I saw she was smiling. "It's nice...to see you have warmth here. It means that my void has the chance to become a whole new world for you and the Akatsuki."

The slight happiness in my eternal partner made my heart beat oddly but I didn't judge it.

"Anything you'd like me to add to your own landmass?" She asked with a smile before motioning to the many other landmasses surrounding the one we were on.

"Hmm, since I have human needs here, basics and a wood workbench would suffice. Some nature trees and water supply."

"Of course that'll be there. But Sasori anything you want special?" She stated. I had to blink and really think.

"A...a rain forest…"

She smiled and nodded. "It shall be done."

For a bit she let me wander around the landmass. It was truly a sight to see. And the moment she returned us to our realm I saw he smiling sadly at the lack of being able to touch. Such an emotional eternal partner she is. Waving her away as she stated she was going to report to Leader, I watched with critical eye as she phased away from my room. Lightly touching my heart organ I felt the odd beats when I thought about her.

Working my way back to the training room I had reported to Pein about Sasori's trip. He was happy things were working out. Tobi express interest in wanting to know if my crystals could be made into weapons for each of the members. So I was going to make weapons for each member out of my crystals. Leader agreed that it could be useful but he warned me against overworking myself again.

Landing in my training room I got started on Hidan's Scythe and a thread for Kakuzu.

Short but I needed to get to the end of this chapter so I can work on the next. Enjoy
