Here is another chapter for everyone. I guess it's been a while since I updated this particular story so here you go!

Ch. 24: Advantage

"I find myself in urgent need of good news. So please Knockout tell me that you found something useful." Megatron said bitterly. The day had not gone well with a failed autobot killing and Laserbeak couldn't find out where they fled to.

"Somethings my liege and someone."

"He lives!" Starscream gasped.

"Shockwave." Megatron chuckled darkly at his good fortune. "Just the tactical advantage I need." He smiled.

"Lord Megatron." The one-optic mech said with his deep voice and a bow.

"Shockwave this is quiet an unexpected turn. I thought you perished on Cybertron." He said accusingly to Starscream.

"Yes, yes as did we all." Starscream said quickly.

"Reports of my demise were greatly premature."

Elisa stared at Shockwave in fascination. His aurora was strong, but slightly different. Elisa quickly concluded that it must have something to do with his logical personality. Of course he noticed the brace on her leg right off the bat.

"What is the purpose of this brace?" He asked pointing to it making Elisa shy away, but Megatron put a servo on her to calm her down.

"Actually Shockwave I have an assignment for you. You see Magma broke onto the warship sometime again and caused permeate damage to her by ripping out the bone." He explained slowly. Elisa bowed her head ashamed, but Megtron continued to rub her shoulder in comfort. "To the best of Knockout's abilities he repaired her, but he told us that there is nerve damage beyond his medical expertise. I would like for you to take a look at her leg and see if you can repair more of the critical damage." Megatron said.

"Your request is most logical. I will help Elisa to the best of my abilities, but it will require some time." Shockwave explained.

"How long?" Elisa asked nervously.

"The first surgery will take some time, but I already have an idea which will help you permanently." Shockwave answered.

"Go with him Elisa. I have some autobot business to attend to with Starscream." Megatron said gently. He kissed her forehead before she slowly walked off with Shockwave.

"May I ask are you related to Soundwave?" Elisa said politely.

"Negative. I have seen your twin Phoenix. She is very different." Shockwave said.

"You have no idea." Elisa muttered before they entered his lab. Elisa was nervous as she got up on the table and laid down on her side exposing her brace. Shockwave cautiously took off the brace with a little help from Elisa and examined the scar. Elisa bit her lip as he approached with a sedative mask in hand.

"The surgery should last a few hours maybe more, but you will feel less pain afterwards." Shockwave explained.

"Thank you." Elisa said weakly before the mask came on and she was put to sleep. Shockwave worked tediously on her wound. Lord Megatron had been right to say that the nerve damage was extensive as he saw the evidence of burns inside her leg. Taking note of his other project he took a sample of her bone marrow before setting it aside and working on the nervous system in her leg. He was extra careful as Elisa's leg would twitch when he started working on the nerves. Some damage was beyond repair and could never heal, but he would make sure Elisa was in far less pain in the long run. True to his word the surgery only lasted a few hours and he called Megatron when it was done.

"How is she?" Megatron asked when he entered the lab.

"She'll be waking up in a few minutes, but the surgery was somewhat of a success." Shockwave answered.

"Somewhat?"

"There is nerve damage that even I cannot repair it." He explained.

"Will she still be in pain?" Megatron asked fearfully.

"Yes, but not to the extent that it is now." Shockwave answered. Megatron gritted his denta before slamming his servo into a wall, making Elisa twitch unconsciously.

"I was there Shockwave. I saw how he ripped the bone right out of her with his fire claws like it was nothing. He did it without hesitation and sometimes I can't get her screams of pain out of my head." Megatron said gravely.

"I have a solution that might ease your processor my liege." Shockwave said before he activated a monitor screen. I took a sample of her bone marrow and with that I could create a new bone to place in Elisa's leg." Shockwave explained.

"A new bone…so she won't need the brace." Megatron said with shock and excitement.

"No she will not, but the cloning will take some time and she will need her brace while regaining her strength with the new bone."

"Excellent." Megatron said with glee.

"She could possibly still walk with a slight limp." Shockwave added. Megatron took a syringe and stabbed it into his arm before taking out a sample for Shockwave.

"If you can combine her sample with my CNA will the bone be more efficient?" Megatron asked holding the sample out to him.

"Most logically as it will only be half organic and half Cybertronian."

"Thank you Shockwave." Megatron said sincerely. He gently scooped up Elisa into his arms and walked out of the lab as Shockwave went to work. Thankfully no one was there as Megatron collapsed on his knee and started to cry as he kissed Elisa's face. He felt some much relief in knowing things would get better for her. He was going to make her whole again. A tear dropped down on her face and Elisa slowly blinked her eyes open.

"Carrier don't cry." Elisa said still sleepy making Megatron laugh.

"It's alright Elisa. Everything will be fine."

While everything was working fine for Elisa, Starscream had his servos full as Wheeljack avoided capture and unfortunately for the seeker Shockwave had a solution in his lab on Cybertron. Elisa waited by her Carrier's side as he tapped on his throne impatiently. Thankfully Shockwave returned not long after his departure.

"I present to you my liege the ultimate autobot hunter."

Elisa shook in pure fear as a giant beast wondered through the bridge one giant claw at a time. Each step it took shook the entire platform as everyone backed away. The creature kept growling as it kept moving forward. Megatron's optics were just as wide as he stood up to stare at the creature in awe. As soon as the bridge closed the beast opened it's mouth and let out a mighty roar.

RRRRRRREEEEEYYYYYYYYY

"A predacon…they, they've been extinct since the beginning of Cybertronian history." Starscream stammered out.

"Indeed, but the specimen you see before you was bread in the laboratory." Shockwave said before he approached the beast. "Cloned from fossilized remains, which I discovered on Cybertron."

"Shockwave it does my spark to see you once again tampering with creation." Megtron said as he approached the beast.

"Carrier no!" Elisa protested unable to move from her post.

"Master please keep your distance." Starscream added.

"No need for alarm the beast is completely under my control." Shockwave explained.

"Such primal magnificence." Megatron said in awe.

"A sample of energon from Wheeljack, spilled during the autobots failed interrogation." Shockwave said holding the sample up for the best to scan.

"Let the hunt begin."

The beast let out a snarl before it took off to find it's prey.

"Carrier I don't like it." Elisa said fearfully.

"Elisa the beast won't hurt you." Megatron said calmly. She looked back out into the open clouds and he knew she didn't believe that.

"I guess." She said weakly.

"How does the leg feel?" He asked changing the subject.

"Actually much better. It doesn't hurt when I move it as much." Elisa answered.

"I need to talk to you about what happened." Megatron said seriously.

"What do you mean?"

"Why did you kill Rising Dawn?"

"I…I thought he was like them. Carrier they won't stop until they get what they want." Elisa answered. "Was it wrong of me to kill him?"

"Perhaps because Elisa I know there is one thing that I am grateful that you did not inherit from me."

"What is that?"

"My killer instincts."

"I only did it to protect you!" Elisa pleaded.

"I know Elisa, but how many times have I told you that that is my job." He said gently.

"Are you saying I shouldn't kill anyone?" Elisa asked uncertain.

"I am saying that there will be a time when that may happen, but I didn't want you to go through something like this so young, as I did. I want you to be happy." Megatron explained. "But perhaps that is my own fault in a way. You and Phoenix were born into a war of which you had no part of and for that I am sorry." Megatron grunted in surprise when Elisa wrapped her arms around him instead.

"Don't be sorry. It wasn't your fault." Elisa whispered.

Please Megatronous don't go!

If she only knew how untrue that was.

"What a grave disappointment this must be for you master and to make matters worse because it cannot speak we cannot know why the predacon failed so miserably. Poor mute mindless creature." Starscream said casually. Elisa didn't miss the beast glancing in Starscream's direction and growling so hard it shook in anger. Phoenix was not impressed by the beast at all, but thankfully didn't voice it. She really wasn't in the mood for talking or being around anyone after Elisa killed Dawn so she kept to herself on the warship.

However a few nights later the humans started talking and Starscream easily fell for the bait.

"You left abandoned decepticon technology fully operational and unsecured!" Megatron roared making Elisa flinch.

"Allow me to correct my oversight immediately." Starscream said quickly. He ordered his armada to attack the Harbinger, but Elisa shouted in surprise when the floor shook at an explosion.

"Since it would seem that Darkmount is presently under attack, kindly redirect all efforts toward ensuring that our invaders are eradicated." Megatron snapped. However as the explosions kept going off Megatron got more and more angry.

"I assure Master I have everything under control." Starscream said weakly. Megatron responded by growling and getting closer to the seeker.

"Lord Megatron, I accept that military considerations are outside of my domain, but perhaps it is once again time to release the predacon.
