Ch. 26: Transformation
"Would either of you like to tell me what exactly is going on!?" Megatron demanded after a frightened Starscream and Knockout bummed into him.
"Yes, absolutely nothing my liege." Starscream said quickly.
"All is quiet, too quiet, one would even say dull." Knockout added.
"Funny because the dark energon within my spark has been pulsing." Megatron growled.
"Allow me to handle this….it's knockout's fault!" Starscream snapped.
"Precisely my-WHAT?!" Knockout shouted in protest.
"He infused Silas with a cocktail comprised of dark and synthetic energon creating a monstrous mutation which is now on the verge of turning the entire crew into mindless energon sucking terrorcons!" Starscream said rapidly.
"I do not know what madness your yarn spring Starscream, but if I learn that you have been dabbling in my dark energon stores again, attempting to infuse yourself with it's formidable power…" Megatron said calmly.
"Uuuhh my liege." Starscream said fearfully.
"Let me just say you have been awarded more chances for redemption than anyone in decepticon history." Megatron snapped.
"Energon." A unnatural voice rang out. Megatron turned and saw a vehicon with a strange appendage coming out of it's mouth.
"You there what are you doing? I order you stand down." Megatron shouted, but the terrorcon charged at Megatron making him firing at the thing and send it flying to the ground to remain still.
"We did try to tell you." Starscream said with some nerve as Megatron turned and glared at him.

Elisa coughed in berth and groaned in pain as her spark started to make her sick. She tossed and turned in her berth as Soundwave locked her door and watched the troops and insecticons destroy the infected. Phoenix extinguished each infected easily with a wave of her fire claws, but she yelped when an insecticon nearly ran her over as it flew off. She looked at Soundwave puzzled.
"Starscream have you made contact with the plague bringer?"
"Actually my liege I have good news and bad news."
Megatron grumbled in frustration.
Phoenix hurried behind Soundwave as they came up to an empty hall…except Arachnid was there with the Insecticons.
"Arachnid?!" Phoenix gasped.
"Soundwave, I vow that on this day the world will hear the sound of your screams." She spat before she charged.
"Wait Arachnid no!" Phoenix protested.
"Sorry dragon." Arachnid said adding insult to injury making Phoenix blink in surprise at the insult and then she stepped back as Soundwave activated a spacebridge and everyone went through it. One the bridge closed Soundwave left Phoenix alone in silence.

Elisa limped into the bridge as Megatron turned to Knockout and Starscream.
"Knockout need I remind you that as the ship's medic you report directly to Shockwave not Starscream." He said plainly.
"Understood master."
"Just to be sure you will hand over all of your projects to him immediatly, including the synthetic energon."
"And as for you…" Megatron growled at Starscream.
"Lord Megatron if you would just allow me to explain things." Starscream pleaded.
"No, allow me to explain things in a manner which I know you'll understand." Megatron said darkly, approaching the seeker with clenched fists.
"Carrier." Elisa called out quietly.
"Elisa leave us." Megatron stated.
"Carrier don't please." She whimpered.
"Elisa leave now." He said sternly. She nodded reluctantly as Knockout quickly guided her out.
"Let me check out that leg hmmm pretty girl." Knockout said calmly. The instant the door was shut Starscream screamed in pain as Megatron dug his claws into his wings and dragged them over the metal.
"Master please I only did it for you!" Starscream pleaded before he was tossed to the ground on his back.
"Really what for?" Megatron said amused as he clutched at Starscream's shoulder painfully hard.
"So that you could have your super soldier!" He cried out, but earned a swift kick that sent him skidding across the floor.
"That is why I have the predacon." Megatron growled lifting Starscream up by his throat.
"Master-aahhh…" Starscream gasped as Megatron squeezed his throat before slamming him into the ground on his stomach. He dragged his claws down Starscream's thighs earning a half moan half scream from him.
"You don't get pleasure! Not this time!" Megatron shouted as he grabbed the seeker's head and slammed him into the ground yet again.
"Master please-I-I!" Starscream continued to plead.
"What if Elisa had been caught by that abomination!?" Megaton snarled making Starscream freeze. "She can't run away, she can barely walk. What would have happened if she had gotten bitten? What then!?" Megatron roared in anger. He shouted in frustration before he racked his claws again over the sensitive wings. Starscream cried out in pain again before Megatron let out a bitter growl. He gave Starscream on more fierce kick before letting him go.
"I will say this, do not ever take Elisa's favor for granted again."

"Knockout, I'm waiting."
"On my way Lord Megatron." Knockout said quickly. Elisa was by his side holding a cube of synthetic energon. As they descended she saw the predacon looking their way. "Synthetic energon, troops will be delivering my remaining supply to you." Knockout explained before he set the cube down.
"I will determine it's value after Lord Megatron's predacon army is ready for deployment." Shockwave answered. Everyone turned at the sound of hissing and Elisa was surprised to see the predacon let out a roar.
"Unruly beast, you dare to roam freely without permission?!" Starscream snapped before whacking it twice with no effect.
"Starscream watch out!" Elisa called out, but the predacon snarled at Starscream making him fall back. The beast approached him with a deadly glare that made Starscream yelp and cover his helm.
Then the predacon transformed.
Elisa let out a gasp and fell to her knees staring at the very large mech. While everyone else stared at it with wide optics.
"What?" Starscream said before his optics went wide too.
"Strike me again and I will bury that rod in your spark." The beast spoke in a deep accented voice.
"I…I did not realize that the beast was capable of transformation." Starscream said weakly as he tried to scoot away.
"Nor did I." Megatron said glaring at Shockwave.
"I am no beast." The predacon snapped at Starscream before he walked over to one of the tubes, his heavy footsteps echoing in the large mine.
"The ability to transform is a fundamental part of Cybertronian biology. We simply possessed no evidence that the predacon species ever reached that evolutionary stage since they became extinct in the Great Cataclysm." Shockwave explained to Megatron.
"And now we know." Starscream said in disgust.
"So the rumors are true, I will no longer be alone." The predacon said.
"And I see you've been keeping secrets." Megatron said approaching the mech.
"It was not my intention to deceive you Lord Megatron, I only recently became aware of my abilities. All I remember of my beginning is hunting and battle and the wounding of my pride. Thus I began to burn with questions. Who am I? Where did I come from? The warships databanks provided historical fact, but still I possessed no memory of my own past, so I began to reconsider my place in the present and wondered could I be like the others and now I know." The predacon explained.
"Yet you are unique, miracle science, cloned by Shockwave from Cybernucleic acid, recovered from the remains of your mighty ancestors." Megatron said proudly. The predacon stared at the tube filled with forming clones for a few moments before he turned and saw Elisa. Both Starscream and Megatron frowned as he hurried over to her.
"Are you hurt?" He asked with concern.
"No-no. I-I I'm fine." Elisa stammered out as she could still not believe that this mech in front of her was a predacon.
"Is something wrong with your leg?" He asked pointing to her brace.
"Oh, no. It's fine don't worry." Elisa said quickly trying to get to her feet. The predacon held out his large servo and Elisa gladly took it to help her to her feet. She flinched in pain as her leg was still bothering her.
All she could do was stare at those yellow optics in curiosity.

"Our former beast may believe himself to be a loyal servant today, but trust me, the moment our royal highness realizes that his army possesses greater might than what currently remains of the decepticons…" Megatron started.
"Evolution will give way to revolution." Starscream finished.
"I am left with no choice, but to eradicate the predacon clones before they are provided the opportunity to eradicate us."
"Carrier, you do realize Elisa can't know about this." Phoenix spoke up.
"Which is why I called you for this meeting and not her as well." Megatron stated.
"Just be careful, she seems to have grown quiet fond of the beast." Phoenix smirked

"What is your name?" The predacon asked.
"Elisa." She answered shyly.
"Elisa…" The predacon said quietly.
"Do you have a name now?" She asked curiously.
"I am Predaking and I have been granted permission by Lord Megatron to lead the my brethren." Predaking said proudly.
"Don't take the favor for granted. Treat your position with care." Elisa said.
"What are you to Megatron. Since you are no predacon." Predaking said confused.
"Megatron is my Carrier and yes I am no predacon." Elisa giggled. "I am a dragon just like your beast form, but I can't transform." Elisa explained. "And yes the red dragon is just like me. She's my twin sister Phoenix." Elisa added.
"I haven't seen much of her. Why?" Predaking asked.
"She unfortunately keeps to herself a lot." Elisa shrugged.
"You have…very beautiful colors." Predaking said uncertain as to how she would react.
"Oh thank you Predaking." Elisa said with a blush.

"What is it?" Rhodius snapped at Phoenix.
"Don't get mad at me. I didn't kill Dawn." Phoenix snapped back. He growled at her, but let her finish. "Did Seekgazer see the predacon at all?" She asked.
"Yes what of it?"
"It turns out that the beast can transform."
"You mean into a human?" Rhodius gasped.
"Yup, but the best part is that Megatron is getting rid of Project Predacon by having the autobots destroy the clones currently waiting to fully evolve." Phoenix added.
"Really…how fascinating." Rhodius said with a grin.
"Do you think I should inform the beast of the idea?" Phoenix asked.
"No, we need more time to recuperate." Rhodius answered.
"Elisa is also fond of the beast." Phoenix added.
"Wait then…perhaps when the time come we get Elisa and perhaps the beast could join us if only to protect her if he is fond of her as well." Rhodius said curiously. Phoenix only groaned in aggravation.
"We don't need them. We are more powerful than any predacon or human." Phoenix spat.
"We have to think about the future Phoenix. How else are we going to make the humans our slaves without a little muscle power."

"I can't believe it. It's like he's never seen her before." Starscream muttered to himself.
"Are you…jealous Starscream…of Predaking!?" Knockout said highly amused.
"What absolutely not." He lied. Knockout burst out laughing as he caught the bluff immediately.
"If you like Elisa so much why not just tell her!?" Knockout chuckled.
"You misunderstand Knockout, despite my behavior, meaning my abandonment of the decepticons, I care for Elisa as if she were my own." Starscream said quietly, just in case Megatron barged in.
"You sure about that?" Knockout asked curiously.
"Who watched over her for those three years when Megatron was gone? Who stayed up with her when she wondered the halls at night calling for her Carrier? Who took flight with her whenever she needed one even in the middle of a fragging blizzard?" Starscream demanded.
"Alright, alright, you've made your point." Knockout said quickly.
"I don't want him taking advantage of her, that's all." Starscream said quietly.
"You better keep this secret, but Elisa thinks Phoenix is conspiring against Lord Megatron." Knockout said quickly.
"But Megatron is her carrier she wouldn't…" Starscream started.
"You should have seen some of the fights they got into. One was even about you once. Elisa defended you as Phoenix called you every dirty word in the book and she even called Elisa a cripple." Knockout said. Starscream gasped and his wings sunk at the knowledge. "I really believe that Phoenix may be up to something, but the problem is that she doesn't have any proof and if she were ever to tell Megatron about it, I'm afraid he'll rip her apart." Knockout said with worry.
"He wouldn't do that. Not to Elisa. She's too precious to him. She looks up to him for everything. He's all she has." Starscream said.
"I'm not saying it will happen, but I'm afraid it might only because of Megatron's…dominate nature." Knockout added.
"Unfortunately Knockout that is a good theory." Starscream said with a grumble. Luckily this conversation went unheard of by Megatron as he went to Elisa's room and caught her stretching her leg.
"How does it feel?" He asked.
"Getting better, still feels a little weird." Elisa answered.
"Elisa I need to talk to you about Predaking." Megatron said seriously.
"Why, did something happen?" She asked.
"No, I just…want you to be careful." Megatron said, unsure how to handle the situation. Elisa narrowed her eyes at him in suspicion.
"Do you think I…I…I'm going to you know what?" She said embarrassed.
"Yes that's exactly what I am afraid of." Megatron said a little too sternly.
"Carrier, I don't even know how to…interface." She whispered the last word, highly embarrassed.
"That doesn't mean it can't happen." Megatron said quickly.
"Oh…so that's what Knockout and Breakdown were doing." She said to herself but quickly covered her mouth in horror.
"They left the door open didn't they?" Megatron demanded.
"Maybe a little bit." Elisa said nervously, but Megatron only grumbled and rubbed his optics.
"I'm only saying this because you seem to show interest in Predaking." Megatron said.
"Well he was nice when he…well just a beast, but now he's still very respectful." Elisa explained. "That doesn't mean I want to frag him."
"Watch it little one." Megatron teased.

"Lord Megatron it seems Project Predacon has fallen into autobot hands!" Starscream called.
"How is this possible?" Predaking demanded.
"Starscream scramble you seeker armada." Megatron ordered.
"At once my liege." Starscream said before starting to run off.
"No." Predaking said right on cue. "If my bretheren are in peril I will confront the enemy." He stated with a growl.

"What have you done to my bretheren…WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" Predaking roared and charged at the two autobots in pure fury. They fired at him, but it did no good as they separated making Predaking charge at Ultra Magnus and knock him literally into the ceiling before going right to Wheeljack, which he tossed high in the air as well.
"Well then let's dance." Wheeljack said before leaping into the air and slamming Predaking to the ground with a harsh kick. He charged right back at him with a hard punch followed by another kick. He pulled out his trusty blades and went to attack, but Predaking easily got out of the way and slammed him into the wall. When Wheeljack fell he shouted in pain as Predaking punched repeatedly wherever he could.
Ultra Magnus took over with a hit from own weapon the Forge of Solous Prime. When he tried to attack again, Predaking knocked him over mid-leap. Magnus scrambled for the Forge and landed a good hard swipe him with he too was in mid-leap. Magnus kept charging at hit Predking hard into the wall. He retaliated with trying to get in another punch but his servo only went through rock as Magnus swung back around and hit him yet again with the Forge. He blinked in surprise when the Forge fell on his shoulder allowing Magnus to slam him into the wall, but he recovered quickly and dodged another hit as he slammed Magnus into the wall instead. He grabbed the autobot and tossed him aside like a rag doll and by the time Magnus looked up Predaking slammed the Forge into head.
Predaking didn't see the other autobot returne until he had an electric whip take the Forge right out of his servos. Wheeljack circled back around and slammed the Forge into Predaking causing him to fly across the cave. When Predaking started charging Wheeljack threw his blades at him, but he caught them easily in his arm armour, but it was too late to realize that it was a distraction as Wheeljack wrapped his whip around the Forge createing an electrical barricade that hit him in the neck and sent him flying into the ground. The opponets charged at each other again and Wheeljack leaped over Predaking and made him nearly fall again with the whip pulling down at his neck. He easily broke it, but Wheeljack was already attacking again with a few kicks that sent him spinning hard into Magnus' Forge.
Predaking was starting to loose his vision as it became blurry around the edges with each hit. Back and forth he went between Magnus and Wheeljack, who knows how many times, until finally he stumbled into the wall and tried to regain his focus. He heard them firing, but they weren't firing at him, but above him in order to make part of the cave come crashing down on him. It only infuriated Predaking even more as he pushed the rock off of him and ran with it right into Wheeljack. With the smaller autobot out of the way he leaped over the rock pile and landed right on the other autobot's servo making him shout in pain. Making the blow final he smalled his large pede down on the servo, crushing it completely. The autobot rolled over in pain as he sneered and walked towards his golden hammer.
"And here I was just beginning to tolerate yah." Wheeljack gasped in pain with a small smrik.
"It's been an honor serving beside you solider." Magnus said sincerely before he looked up. His optics went wide as Predaking tore the Forge right in two. Golden sharps sparkled to the ground as Predaking discarded it like it was nothing.
"Prepare to perish." Predaking stated as he raised his claws high, but the blow never came as Optimus Prime knocked him across the room. He fired quickly at the rock pillars to gain some leverage as he grabbed Wheeljack and Magnus. He spotted the predacon rising from the debris as he quickly took flight. "What? NOOOO!" Predaking roared. He charged after them in anger as he prey was taken away. Once out in the open he transformed and dove after them. Seeing the groundbridge he fired at them but they entered just in time, making them escape.
Predaking roared in rage.
